Rosniyom ( Tasteful )Thai street food: Simple style of food that is quick and easy to eat but does not compromise on taste. Offering more variety of Thai food-Authentic and unique taste with the highest quality and homemade ingredients.
This place is on my route home right at the end of Vasco (next to Country Waffles). I stop whenever I can to grab dinner on my way home. The place is small and cozy, so dine-in capacity is tight. The food is ALWAYS amazing and always fresh. Theres no better Thai food in the area. The closest place to get anything near this quality is in Santa Clara. They always quote 20-25 minutes on my order, but it’s never taken longer than 15.
The worst part about getting takeout here is being hungry and having to smell this amazing stuff all the way back home!
Only recently discovered this place and it's a 40+ minute drive for me, but after a couple of meals I'm convinced. Tried khao moo dang on my first visit and kana moo krob on my second. The crispy pork actually has the crispy bubbly skin which immediately raises the legitimacy. The fact that boat noodles, khao kha moo, and khao mun gai are on the menu hints that good times are ahead. Taste reminds me of the good stuff I had in Bangkok. I will definitely be back.
My husband and I love this place. They have the best authentic Thai food taste at good price! If you been in Thailand, you can tell! If you never been, you will experience the real Thai cuisine here. The place is clean and cute, made with love of the friendly and humble of lovely couple chefs and servers ❤️
N/a on the service/atmosphere, this was to go. I’m currently allowing my pad-Thai to go cold because it’s barely edible anyway. Seriously we went from the BEST pad-Thai I’ve had in a while to the absolute WORST. I seriously cannot believe how bad this is. Noodles are almost black and obviously old. Don’t go here anywhere near closing time. And there’s barely any chicken. I’ve had many many pad-thais. This is ridiculous.
Average. Very pricey. 25$ tax and tip for a small bowl of greens with pork belly on top. Nothing to drink. Doesn't serve alcohol. Won't ever be back. I left and got a Carl's Jr lettuce wrap burger for half the price and more filling. Bay area prices and food make me furious.
This place has NEVER disappointed. It's the absolute best Thai food in the Bay Area and everyone should try it out!!! I cannot emphasize how delicious this place is. My husband and I go at least once a month. They also provide options to use vegan sauces in the dishes in case you avoid fish and oyster sauce and there are plenty of veg and non-veg options. Just be mindful that you might have to wait for a table as the place is a little small.
If you are traveling trough Pleasanton on highway 580 west or east this little place serve a good amount of variety and delicious dishes. I stop by sometimes on my way home from work and I usually gets the shrimp pad Tai noodles then I ask to add steak on it and the coconut palm juice drink it's really great served on a glass with ice.
This is my first time eating Pad Kee Mao (Drunken noodles). It tasted really good. Go for a 4 star spice level if you are an Indian like me.
Serving size is big enough as I couldn't finish the whole thing. I will be going back soon to try other dishes as well.
Overall: Tasty street style thai food
Flavours are amazing. My favourite thai place after trying over 10 restaurants in the area. Staff is polite and kind.

Incredible food. Everyone should go here! I had the Krapow Gai Kai Dao and it was amazing.
So far the drinks are fantastic! Good quality for the price
They have good food, but they gave us at most half the food they used to. So, hard pass.
Amazing and authentic thai food. It’s a small restaurant

Down the street from my home food is food and delicious the recent price increases are disappointing but none the less the food is bomb. It’s more of a to go place tho the Dine in space is very cramped I would call ahead to ask if they have seats.
Best Thai restaurant in the Bay!!! Everything is fresh and delicious. Everyone should taste their authentic foods!!!
$17.50 for 4 pieces of shrimp in the pad Thai? Absurd. Either up charge for the shrimp or skimp on the portion but to do both is insulting. Extremely overpriced
Cute little Thai restaurant. Some of my favorite delicious food orders: Khao Soi, Pad Kee Mao, Krakow Kai Doa, Kao Pad Gai Tod, & Gai Yang. Just to name a few. Thai Ice Tea is also a must! The food is always tasty & the service is top notch kind & friendly. Rosinyom is on my lunch rotation. 😋
Hands down my favorite Thai place in the Bay Area. I’ve come here over the years even though I live 30 minutes away. I’ve tried Khao soi (my favorite), pad thai, drunken noodle, crab fried rice, pad see ew, breaded chicken over rice & many more. Their flavor is fantastic and authentic. Great portions and decent prices. They have gotten much more popular & the place is small so you may not get seated right away, plus service might be slow - I don’t mind it, it’s so worth it.
The food is great! Would definitely love to come back again
Good flavor granted only had the Pad Thai. The Thai coffee was bomb, just the right amount of sweetness

Food was very tasty, fresh. Great service. Lovely little mom-and-pop restaurant. A gem!
Great little spot for authentic Thai food! Super tasty cuisine from Northern and Central Thailand. Brought my Thai family here and they all approve! Be sure to get there early on Saturday since they get busy. But if they're full, it's not a long wait for tables.
RosNiYom is a fantastic little Thai restaurant. The service is good, but the dining area, while clean, is cramp. It gets hot in there when it's hot outside.
If you're a goody and you're there for the food, you will love it. The Kanna Moo Krob and Boat Noodles are great.
The Panang was lukewarm and made me nauseous to where I had to throw up later.
Prompt quick service for take out
Awesome and fast service every time! Employees are nice, food is great! Yellow curry is always a winner
Good food good people.
Loved the food and flavors
My go to hole in the wall on the way back home from anywhere.
They close at 8:10 pm unofficially for dine in
Did not expect food from here to be so good and authentic! I have tried a lot of dishes here and one of my favorites is definitely the larb. The dish is tangy, bright and refreshing, yet spicy and full-flavored. Their pad makuer is also great with deep, rich, smokey, and spicy flavors. Their excellent selection of vegan options is definitely a huge plus.
Many options ordered and they were all very good. Pork knuckle with vegies, beef larb, chicken wings, fried short ribs.. the fam got pad thai and pinapple fried rice. Will return again when im in the area.
I came here because of their great review. Despite the difficulties in finding parking, long waiting, the food come out ok. Not bad but not wow either
This joint is tiny but packs Thai flavah. I usually get the Khao Kha Moo (stew pork) or Pad Makuer (egg plant) with beef. They have a brown rice option. I work near by and eat here monthly or when I work late. It is behind the Arco with little parking. Avoid the lunch rush if you can. Dinner is less crowded.
Excellent Thai Food! And they can make most anything gluten free. Flavors are so full with terrific service. Everyone is always so kind! My go-to Thai place near work!!
A delightful surprise! We really enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly.
This is one of the best thai food place with unique dishes. They always serve fresh and tasty(spicy) food with reasonable prices. Forget to take photos will post it during next visit.
Adding photos of my second visit. Ordered fried chicken, pad kee mao and sticky rice with mango…. All so good and made as per our taste.
Service 👍🏼, food 👍🏼
This is an exceptional restaurant that really deserves 5 stars. Our group had meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans, everybody left the place happy and satisfied. The servers were pleasant and accommodating. Simply amazing food. The place is too small though, they have only 4-5 tables.
Unexpectedly good Thai food available here in the middle of a chain fast food desert.
This was a great spot to stop for a quick bite while traveling.
New favorite spot for tasty Thai food!
Delicious food! We loved everything. The crab fried rice in particular has tons of crab.
We tried several dishes among our group and were very surprised that a small place like this had great tasting foods with a lot of flavor. We will definitely be back to try several more items on the menu. This is an easy place to get to just off Hwy 580 and Vasco Rd.
I had the Kana Moo Krob, the crispy pork belly stir fry and it was delicious. It comes with garlic broccoli, red bell pepper, and some sauce at the bottom that ties it all together beautifully 🍛
We love it here. The food is great and super friendly service! We’ve tried a few things on the menu and have loved all of them so far!
Always ordered food from here and so far I am NEVER disappointed. Great flavor and portions.
Service is upright, atmosphere small dine in area but its nice however food is NOT at all good.. fewer veggies in servings, taste was like reused oil, not fresh and over cooked chicken. All ordered dishes were very chewy and dry.
good Thai food id go back again
Food here is good. Not salty, taste is not westernized or commercialized.
When I last visited I ordered the crab fried rice, beef curry panang and Thai iced tea drink. The crab fried rice is not salty and crab meat is a real crab meat. You can also taste the crab. Beef curry panang is also cooked good and not spicy which is what I asked. So kudos to the staff Belle for taking note and chef for delivering. The Thai tea drink is not too sweet, which I like.
Currently eating their pork leg rice and it’s so gooooood.
Excellent Thai food at a reasonable price. We got a vegetarian curry and noodle to go and loved it!
A tasty mid-afternoon meal - lovely presentation, pleasant service - in that small strip mall, a real find.
Think I found my new Thai spot! Food was delicious and it was a big serving. Service was quick and friendly. The prices were really good compared to other Thai places in Livermore.
Amazing dishes , pad anything is great
Fresh, fast, authentic, and yet unique. We were looking for a quick meal as we were passing through town on our way home from a ski trip. Due to the number of take out customers who dropped by, you can tell that this place is a local favorite. They treated the kids in our group with care, providing them water cups with lids and straws. This place will be a regular stop on ours!
Been here several times and the food has been spectacular every time. Spicy will make you sweat. Great casual dining. Wish they had a few more tables.
I do come here every now and then for lunch. The food is great and my favorite is the panang curry. The place is not very big so sometimes it's a bit busy around lunchtime but I never had to wait very long. The food gets prepared fresh and it's no problem to adjust ingredients as preferred. Today we dropped by after a hike on Brushy Peak with a party of 5. Everyone had something different and everyone loved it. As a starter I recommend the fried pumpkin and the satay chicken and people seem to really like the Thai tea. Highly recommended!
Obviously I did not take the picture before we dug into this food but it was so good. Second, their menu has GF (gluten free) icons next to foods that those of us that are celiac can eat and it was at least half of the menu. Third: I was sad cuz my favorite dish (basil chicken) was not GF and asked why it wasn’t and she said she would go speak with the chef. She said the sauce has soy sauce in it but he would make it gluten free! So we got our 3 favorite things and they ensured it was GF for me! So happy!
Have to try their chicken satay and drunken noodle. It’s so delicious!!! Definitely will be coming back soon
Amazing Thai food, their krapow is insane. Might be the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand!
Pad thai is good but the chicken is too chewy.
Good taste food, but horrible service
Cozy, like having street tacos from a truck, but some of the best Thai street food, instead.
We stopped at this unassuming Thai street food bistro for a sit down meal during a road trip from Nor Cal to So Cal. It was so good we hit up this freeway adjacent spot again on the following trip.
We have had the deep fried pumpkin and chicken satay appetizers - which would be enough for a meal together. For mains, we've tried the beef boat noodle soup (similar to Vietnamese phô), the kana moo kra (pork belly and Chinese broccoli), and pad Thai prawns. Every dish was a winner and we want them all again, plus the other chef specials on the menu.
They also had excellent thai iced tea and our favorite dessert: mango sticky rice.
You can hear the food cooking and smell the authentic spices. However, because it's authentic you should ask for light spice if you're sensitive.
Ros Ni Yom was so good that we try to time our trips to allow us to visit again. We just wish this place was near our house because it rivals our favorite Thai restaurants from around the bay area. If you live nearby, you have a treasure. Otherwise stop in for lunch or dinner and you won't be disappointed in the flavors.
Delicious, Friendly's, a great find!
My friend told me about the place and am so excited to check it out! Boat noodle - flavorful and taste just like those at Bangkok but bigger portion. Koa Soi (a dish from Northern Thailand) - it was flavorful, creamy and thick.
Crab fried rice is a must but honestly their whole menu is a must.
1st off I'm from Laos and we have similar food let's keep it 💯 ok I have to admit this thai spot is pretty good on point not like them other thai restaurants down the street who only trying to attract white folks which I understand but it's not authentic. Great food good prices. No disrespect to them wanna be high class thai restaurants who forgotten your roots but the real taste is where it all started
Delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly service. Cater to gluten allergy issues on a wide range of menu options.
Good food good service
Everything was amazing and even looked amazing
Small family restaurant, excellent food and service! Prices reasonable.
Excellent dish, flavors are on point. Thank you for the tasty food
We stopped for lunch at Rosniyom Thai on the way back from LA to SF Bay Area. They got good reviews but we didn’t expect it’d be this good. When we opened the door, the restaurant was small but looked cozy and decorated well. The restaurant was very busy but the staff made us feel welcomed. We ordered Thai Iced Tea, Chicken Satay, Grilled Beef with Sticky Rice and Stir Fried Minced Chicken with Basil over Rice. Everything tasted great and authentic. I’m Thai so I knew what the food was supposed to taste like . There’re so many things in the menu that I wanted to try. I wish this restaurant was closer to my house. I’d go back to Rosniyom Thai again for sure if I go to Livermore or close by cities.
Definite must try if you're stopping by or a local. It is right off the freeway next to country waffles and McDonald's. It's small and quaint, the food is delicious I had the Thai boat noodles and papaya salad. The only thing I wished I did was add some wings with the papaya salad but that was a lot of food already for 1 person.
Small place that isn’t too busy. Delicious fried rice and curry.
What a find in Livermore! I was driving from fresno to sf and stopped for gas, only to find this gem of a thai restaurat. We got green and yellow curry and the flavors were bright and memorable. Service was quick and friendly and clearly the locals know and love this place. Definitely worth a visit.
Great Pad Thai and also Green Curry (with generous amounts of Prawns)
Lychee ice tea has a deep bold flavor
Their salad needs more greens. However, I found it refreshing. Haven’t tried the other menu items, but I think they’re okay.
This small restaurant is going to be my top Thai restaurant in Bay area. Their wok technique is simply the best! Full of grilled and smoky flavor from fried or sauteed menus like Kana Moo Krob. As soon as you step into the restaurant, you can immediately smell it is so packed full of the aroma, fumes from foods they have been cooking. Having experienced so much, i know how well they are cooking.
What stand out to me is that spicy, salty, sugary tastes are not overpowering, dominant. I love the way the chef cooks Thai foods. It was made fresh, made to order. Definitely hidden gem in East Bay!
Delicious food! Freshly prepared to our taste mild to hot spicy!
Food was amazing and the service was great. The waitress was very accommodating of our vegetarian dietary restrictions
Amazing food and great service! Food is fresh and well presented. A welcome surprise after being on the road all day.
Very good! Quality ingredients, everything was flavorful and delightful
Ordered crab fried rice and pad Thai ,both are terrible .The chicken was stale and rubbery ,pad Thai was so soggy .
Crab fried rice was full of shell it was not edible . Never ordering again . Portions are also small .Not worthy at all .
Great food and they can make lots of vegan dishes. Exceptional service. The hostess/server was perfect.
Just stopped in our way to San Francisco from Yosemite. The food was amazing and the people are really nice and welcoming. Good surprise in the middle of the road :)
The location is pretty unassuming, but food and service are excellent!
Yum!
Tasty good food and awesome friendly service!
Great customer service food was delicious definitely coming back ♡♡♡♡
Food is delicious! I love their papaya salad, laos style and spicy! And great customer service.
Amazing food, very nice people! Don’t hesitate to order from here!
The food is really good. Really happy with the service and I'm really happy about coming in picking up food without a mask when you know you're only going to be in there for 30 seconds.
Awesome food no matter what you get
Very friendly service, the chicken pad thai was tasty, small portion for my like but it was good. Thai iced tea was very good...
Great place for Thai food. Quick service, delicious food
Great taste and excellent service.
If you are looking for a real authentic Thai food in this area, this place is for you.
Amazing Thai food it suprise me really good
They have the best pad thai, I strongly recommend this place. The staff is great too.
They have a pretty good authentic Thai street food flavor, though not as spicy as you'd find in Thailand, its also not sweet like a lot of American Thai food can be.
Excellent Thai food. I like my food a bit more spicey than average so I just asked them and they uppee the spice level. Perfect for me.
So I have had the seafood fried rice, clear glass noodles and the pad thai and by pleasant accident the pad see ew. Each and every meal was terrific to my tastebuds and they were all flavorful and spiced to perfection. Whenever I am not able to bring lunch to work from home, I dont even fret because I know Ros Ni Yom is close and will always deliver the high quality flavorful meal full of fresh ingredients that Im yearning for. I never really like to eat out but if every restaurant makes food like ros ni yom, Im ready for a change of heart.
Khob khun ka to the chef and the staff!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the area!
Delicious and nice service!
I love Thai food and they made me feel like I’m in Thailand! Especially the one that calls “Thai boat noodle” the taste is mellow and go together with Papaya salad. Let’s try y’all you will love it!
