Dear Thai Cafe Customers, a tragedy has hit our family and during this time of grievance, Thai Cafe will unfortunately be closed starting July 11th due to a mandatory trip back home to Thailand. We apologize for the inconvenience and will hopefully see everyone back on reopening day August the 18th!
After a game of softball, we swung by Thai Cafe for dinner to celebrate our victory. I’ve been to this spot a handful of times, and they normally don’t disappoint. This time, I had the Trip to Thailand, which comes with pad Thai noodles, Thai chicken BBQ, chicken red curry, and a side of white rice—delicious! The service was great, and the ambiance is usually quite calm, not noisy, which I appreciate. However, they charge $6 to swap the white rice for fried rice, which I think is a little high. Instead, I ordered a separate side of fried rice for $12 and got a larger portion. Unfortunately, the fried rice lacked flavor and missed the mark for me. On the bright side, they offered us tapioca pudding at the end of the meal, and it was the perfect treat for my sweet tooth. Overall, a solid experience.
Very good place have been coming here for years. Always good consistency in the food the orange chicken is always amazing and the tapioca is fire fire fire. Good clean place good atmosphere and decorations. Good staff very attentive to your order. Also the rice crispy soup is delicious. Hidden gem for sure!! :).
Food had no flavor and the portion sizes were small for what I paid.
I love thai food so i ordered pad Se Ewe, Mongolian beef and Chicken Satay. None of these dishes had any flavor. pad se ewe had barley any sauce/gravy, chicken satay was plain chicken on a stick (sad because chicken satay is usually my favorite) and the “Mongolian beef” was plain beef maybe had a little teriyaki and unseasoned veggies with rice and came in a small takeout box less half the size i expected. Overall price ended up $46. I will not be returning here.
Today was my first time here. We went during the lunch hour & each ordered a lunch special. The service was awesome. The waitress/server (same person) was very sweet & friendly. Our meals came with crunchy rice soup, & fried wontons with a yummy dip/sauce. My sister ordered ginger beef. It was delicious. I ordered the "trip to Thai" which came with pad thai noodles, a chicken thigh, & red curry. The pad thai & chicken were delicious... the curry tasted so good over my rice. It was too sweet to eat as a soup/stew by itself. (For my taste, anyway).
My mother ordered the tempura shrimp plate, which also came with fried peppers, zucchini, & sweet potato, along with the sweet dip/sauce.
We will definitely be back to try other menu items. I feel we paid a fair price for the portions.
Thai Cafe in Lancaster is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of praise. From the moment you step in, the ambiance captivates with its delightful charm. The service is impeccable, with staff members who are attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food - it’s simply amazing. Each dish bursts with authentic Thai flavors, showcasing the chef’s expertise and dedication to quality ingredients. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries, fragrant stir-fries, or refreshing salads, Thai Cafe has something to satisfy every craving.
I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai - it’s a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors, cooked to perfection. And don’t miss out on their Crispy Rice soup; it’s a flavorful symphony that will tantalize your taste buds.
Overall, Thai Cafe in Lancaster is a must-visit for anyone craving exceptional Thai cuisine. With its amazing food, great service, and delightful ambiance, it’s sure to leave you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal.

No flavor. Tastes like something I would make trying to cook it the first time. Highly disappointed.

Great food and amazing service
Love all of it

We've been coming here for about 20 years. Food is always AMAZING. Service is a little slow sometimes. The atmosphere is too cluttered. Feels very cramped inside. But again the food is delicious!
Food was second to.none with great service.. Will definitely not be my last vist just wish they had a facebook or Instagram page to leave a review
Food is ok, but the service they provide is awful. Ordered crispy rice soup, (part of a $70 order) and they forgot the rice part of the dish so I did not even bother eating it. I called in and they said they would replace the order next time I went in. When I went in a couple weeks later all they would give me is a bag of rice because "I got the soup right???"
So if I ordered chicken pad thai and they forgot the noodles, would they just give me the noodles next time? It's supposed to a be a whole dish. They were so rude when I nicely tried to explain this and would not budge. So stupid.
Always great food and service at a decent price.
This establishment is not in business for good service. Simply do not order delivery and if you do do not expect there to be a correct order. Simply do not trouble yourself ordering food from this restaurant
Love this place!!! Great service & food @ a really great price! Our server Cecille was especially great!

The food quality is okay, but for the price is not worth it. Check out Thai Garden in Rosamond just 15 mins away from this restaurant and you recieve double the food for the same price like Thai cafe.
was not worth going
The best Thai food I’ve ever had. Everything taste sooooo good, fresh, service is amazing too. Great place 10/10, fully recommend.
Picked up, awesome food.
Foods taste goods
This Hidden Gem Is Unmatched!!!
Simply Beautiful And Delicious. Stella Service, Hospitality Host, And Just A Priceless Experience. I Will Be Having Most Meals Here. Thank To This Delicious Treasure. 😋
Love the food and service
Good food and good service
We had been going here for years. It was fantastic in the beginning. Then I think it changed management or ownership and the food just was not the same. We stopped going back then, but then tried it again and the food once again is fantastic!
The waitress was helpful with food allergy questions concerning the menu. The restaurant was clean. The ginger chicken was the best!
My family has been coming here for years and I commend how consistent this incredible restaurant has been. The staff throughout the years have been nothing but a joy; respectful and kind. The food is amazing; cooked fresh and with so much flavor. We've seen this small family business grow immensely and we applaud and appreciate the incredible service they give us every birthday and holiday we are there. Thank you Thai Cafe for all that you do and for always making your place home for our big family that never makes reservations haha
Noodles are great and especially the coconut soup
We waited nearly an hour and still didn't get the soup that was supposed to come with the lunch special until we were ready to leave; even after asking, multiple times. There was a hair in 2 of the three dishes. One of the plate's food was cold. We weren't offered drink refills and couldn't seem to get napkins. Tapioca wasn't offered, even though it comes with the meal, and we gave up. So disappointing.
Went there for lunch a couple of days ago. I've only heard good things about this place. So I was so excited to finally visit. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and shrimp. It was delicious. I also had their Thai tea, and I was in heaven. Then, for dessert, I had the sticky rice and mango. Everything was so good. I can't wait to be back.
This place has great food, with a fast and friendly service. Restaurant is comfortable and friendly. Great food once again, definitely will be coming back.
Food was great service a little slow.
They were out of flat noodles so I couldn’t order the dish I wanted. I don’t ever recall going to a Thai restaurant and them not having flat noodles as those are a staple. I went with the cabbage beef stir fry and it was more of a Chinese dish than Thai. The sauce was thick like Chinese hot and sour soup and not fresh and flavorful like typical Thai stir fry. No one in my party enjoyed their food and each dish was off in color (green curry, pad Thai, and orange chicken). The complementary soup, rice, dessert, and spice level were good points.
Amanda (Manager) Service is terrible, very nasty attitude. I don't recommend anyone to go there to ruin your Lunch or Dinner.
I left this place without finishing my Lunch.
But others had food that tasted good whatever I ate.
My new favorite Thai restaurant. Great atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Food was amazing 👏
I didn't take any pictures of my food because I ate it all. I will be going back again.
I've been coming here for fifteen years and have never had anything less than a delicious meal.
I LOVE the Eight Angels and the Volcano. I usually struggle to choose between the two. My wife is all about their orange chicken, which is always crispy.
Every meal comes with delicious crispy rice soup and tapioca in coconut milk.
It's always been pleasant, but they recently redecorated and it looks great.
Highly recommend.
Besides the 187 it's alright
Hours on the door say they open at 12. Online it says 11:30. We showed up on a Sunday at 11:30 and it was closed, we went shopping and returned at 12:30 still closed. Their hours are not accurate or consistent.
Feels like the volume of staff is low but, patience has its own reward in the end. If you're not allergic to shellfish I recommend the volcano.
They had very good vegan food. We had a wonderful time.
The pad Thai didn’t have enough sauce, no peanuts, pretty meh. Portion size was lacking and not a lot of chicken.
Excellent musseman curry, crab Rangoon is best.
Excellent curry. Authentic Thai
Has really good food but can't get anyone to pickup the phone they say open at 11 but the phone just keeps ringing
This place is so disappointing!!! I today ordered curry shrimp tempura mixed and hot wings.... they didn't give me me my soup after saying it was in there and where's the shrimp in my curry??? I see none!!! Smh
4 shrimp I counted and had to dig...
Food is delicious 😋
I've been going to this restaurant for 15 years. This used to be a nice restaurant with fair pricing. But it has gradually gone down hill. The prices are up sharply and the service is very poor. The owner only keeps one girl to serve the customers and handle the cashier so as result the service is terrible now. They frequently are out of certain foods so many dishes are not available. The final straw was a rude and immature waitress who left me sitting at my table for 15 minutes without a menu. When I asked for one she lost it and was very inconsiderate, rude and unprofessional. I immediately left and will never go back. Also some other patrons questioned the meat and weather it was being supplemented with meats you would not want to eat. I don't know if this is true but I know many asian restaurant to use these meats. I would recommend Saladtip which is another Thai restaurant close by. Its much better food, service and pricing.
Rude! Very unpleasant experience.
Amazing food! I personally highly recommend the musaman curry with chicken!
