the curry wasn’t good the sauce is watery, and sweet.
It was hard to eat since the flavors and texture of the chicken don’t go together.

Had a nice dinner at Salatip. We had sweet and sour pork and reen chicken with garlic. The pork was just the right amount of sweet and the chicken was soft and juicy. The combinations also come with a soup or salad choice, we had the soup and it was good. The customer service was attentive and inviting. I would definitely come back!! 😁

Was gonna go to denny's, spotted this little gem in the same parking lot, and decided to give it a try. The place is like a classic thai restaurant. It's a bit old school feeling. They even had little jars of sauces and spices on the table.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good, and I would even say I like it better than the other thai restaurants in town.

We ordered the Gai gra berng for the appetizer. It was delicious. It was an egg roll skin folded in half over ground shrimp and chicken, then deep fried. Served with sweet and sour sauce.

We ordered the pa-nang curry served with white rice. Definitely try this. It's very interesting. Its spicy, it has green peppers, and hot chilies in it if you ask for the spicy. My fiance really loved it.

The combo fried rice was on point. Had lots of shrimp. Sorry about the picture, we already ate alot of it!

We also had the pad thai. It was also delicious, had amazing flavor, good peanut flavor. Definitely try this as well!

At the end of the meal. The waitress packed all of the food in boxes for us and everything! They earned a 5 star rating from me. This is a solid thai restaurant.

The item below is shrimp fried rice the rice was almost 16$ so a bit pricy but was really good the gentle men that took my order was great only complains are that the rice could use more shrimp and a bit less in price would be great also the entrance door is a bit hard to push and pull but great feel of atmosphere and good food

Have been living in the AV for more than 20 yrs and would see this place when driving by so tonight we decided to give Salatip a chance. My husband and I were EXTREMELY disappointed by the service, the ambience and definitely the food! Thai food is meant to be filled with spice and flavor and Salatip offered none of that! The pineapple rice was bland, all you could taste was the fried egg, the pad Thai, what’s nothing but dry glass noodles with a hint of salt. No wonder this place only had another table besides ours! Food was disgusting! The whole place needs to get a good cleaning and update.. and please Salatip train your waiting staff to smile and be cordial! Never returning to this place again.

Not what it used to be. The Mongolian Beef was mostly onion… more like Mongolian Onion. And the orders don’t come with rice? You pay 13 dollars for an item and it can’t even come with rice? Disappointed for sure…

I've been eating at Salatip for over 20 years and it's changed a lot.
Used to be one of the best, but the food has gotten sort of bland and the noodle portions are very small now, mostly filler (bean sprouts and greens).

I've had better Thai food, BUT one of the better Thai options in Antelope Valley. We prefer our pineapple fried rice to be cooked with curry powder. Salatip doesn't make it with curry powder normally, but they have always been accommodated our request. It's in the neighborhood, so it works. Friendly staff. One thing I don't like about some AV restaurants is they have old carpet & in my opinion it contributes to an odd old scent. One of the reasons we order to go. Never sat in for the full experience.

The food was bland, no seasoning .. Thai food supposed to have exotic spices.. the fish cakes was very oily and under cookthe sauce that it came with had no flavor , no taste. It just look like a bowl of oil and peanut, the Thai tea was nasty. Not enough cream and it wasn’t sweet. My lunch ( can’t even talk about it) the server was bad , not friendly at all or helpful . Why did my food come first before my lunch soup. I’m sorry but people who have put good reviews, really don’t know they food . Never coming back . I was looking forward to a good lunch and this place was very disappointing .I payed for my food , and tip.. so don’t think I wanted free food. I just wanted good Thai food

Our first take out order and when we got home we were missing all rice, our Chicken Sa-Tay, and any sauce. The order was a bit over $90. and I’m not sure if we will return. Very disappointing.

My family and I have been coming here for years and it never fails to leave us satisfied. The food is outstanding. Even after all this time, I still like randomly pointing to a dish I’ve never tried before and have yet to encounter a sub par meal. No exaggeration, this place is fantastic. Only cons is the service. It’s not the best but everything else makes up for it.

Here from out of town and really debated which Thai place to try. This spot was amazing! The best value I’ve found in awhile— good portions for $10 in 2023 is hard to come by! The egg rolls were outstanding, the fried rice dish was delicious and large, the chicken pad Thai was seasoned so well. The chicken was a tad dry but everything else was so wonderful I really didn’t even mind. And the staff was helpful and attentive. I never write reviews but had to say something. Would certainly come again!

The food is great. They will customize the spice level to your taste. Once you zero in on what level you like, you can't go wrong. Takeout orders take 15-30 minutes to prepare. Order from home and it's ready to pick up as soon as you arrive.

Delicious 😋

Floor is so dirty, foods all over the floor, carpet is nasty and looks like never washed. The person cleaning up tables uses same pair of gloves for cleaning tables and setting up new utensils. The servers never smiled. Will never go back to this place.

I eat a plant-based diet and Salatip had great dishes. I had Pad Kee Mao with tofu my first visit. It was loaded with Chinese broccoli and not too many noodles, just the way I like it. My second visit, after a day of hiking, I had Pad Kee Mao and Garlic eggplant. I was a hungry hiker and ate both dinners. I also like that they controlled the spice using hot fresh pepper pieces rather than just slathering the dish with dried peppers. Service was very good, portions a re ample and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Salatip if you're in the Lancaster area.

Most of the entry were authentic Thai. Probably one of the best desert selection in Lancaster. Service is prompt with unlimited soda refills but they don't carry Coke products. Restrooms available. Plenty of diner style booth seating. We regularly eat here daily when visiting relatives. Shared parking lot with plaza. Easy access for Class B and C RVs or SUV. A bit tight for trailers.

Had the yellow curry with chicken and chicken pad se ew. Very robust flavors & just the right amount of spice (chose level 5).
Definitely will come again when I’m in town. Friendly, fast service.

I understand that prices have gone up, what I don't understand is why the food portions have shrunk! The soup was way too salty but I can still get over that, but.. finding a hair in my chow main noodles when they were already in my mouth 🤢!! That made my stomach turn. I was so hungry and that really took my appetite away. So disgusting!. I don't think I'll be buying anything at this SALATIP restaurant EVER!

We ordered kung pao chicken, was supose to be garlic pork they gave us chicken(didnt send back)& chicken chow mein. There was no flavor no spice everything tasted the same. Disappointing been going there for years. Dont' know if they got a new cook or what butt we wont be back. Plus it was very warm in there no air. 😕

The Green bean curry is the best I've ever had. On this last visit, I tried cashew chicken curry, almost as good, but I look forward to the next visit!

We love this location!! The employees are always friendly and make us feel more than welcome. We have dined in and had great experiences. The food is always tasty and cooked fresh. Our take out experience is nothing less. We get accurate pick up times and spend little to no time waiting once arriving.

I'm dropping to for star due to the experience factor. Just not what it used to be. I'm an old friend of over 25 years. I just got to be honest. The food is clean & tasty. But you can see the impact the economy and covid has taken on the place. It's lost a bit of it's luster. There are some definite cut backs here and there. Today's lunch was good value but the waiters lack experience and need polishing, young and need some ambition motivation excitement. I love these folks but business is business. My personal favorites: trout and mango sauce,tum yai Gai (chicken soup no coconut milk), bbq ribs believe it or not, and family favorite crispy chow mein

Small portions at a high price. My girlfriend loves this place so I'm forced to eat here. We spend $20 a person and I have yet to leave satisfied. Seriously they sell rice and they can't even fill you up for 20 bucks. We spent $40 here earlier this evening and then I had to go to in-N-Out. Also they're very chintzy on the plastic silverware as they routinely do not provide it.

This is my 3rd time ordering. Food is tasteless and service is horrible. Apparently there were 4 Kim orders tonight so they gave my husband the wrong meals. Then he had to go back and get the correct meals. While there, other customers were complaining about the same thing. Just bland food w bad customer service.

The food is good but not worth the service. I called in an order and explained to the lady what I wanted because I did not know how to pronounce it right. She repeated back tobme what i said. They gave me the wrong food and the server tells me I need to learn how to say it right if I want the right food.

If I don't know how to say something in another language but I tried my best why should I be given the wrong food when I explained to you the type of dish it is.

I do not recommend! The curry chicken did not taste like curry at all. I ordered curry chicken along with the combo fried rice and got food poisoning. I have been in the bathroom for the past two days and with stomach cramps. I will be calling them on tomorrow!

This is consistently some of best Thai food in the AV. We have been eating here for more than 10 years and the staff is always courteous. Thai Iced tea is really good. Tom Yum Gai is so good when you are feeling slightly under the weather. Try it!

First time here my husband ordered Yellow chicken curry and I had the spicy chicken with basil leaves. These are our most favorite dishes and what we usually go for at a Thai restaurant. Yellow curry was very plain, no flavor. The basil leaves were not too bad but the service was what really contributed to rating. No water or high chair was offered. Asked for napkins and took almost 15 mins. A regular cup was given to a 3yr old. Waiter never checked in. She just smiled from a distance. Not coming back for seconds.

This is my #1 favorite restaurant. Excellent authentic Thai food. It rivals the Thai restaurants in Thai Town. I could eat the Tom Ka Gai everyday.

This Thai food was horrible. There is no flavor. They ask you how spicy? I said medium. There was no spice or flavor. The food tastes old. They need to close down. Everyone needs to try Mom can cook Thai in Santa Clarita. That's fresh and service is the best.

Did take out and had to wait 40 minutes for my order. Asked if it was ready and said it’s almost done at 25 minutes mark. Watched as people got their order after they ordered after me. Simple stir fried rice, papaya salad, and green curry shouldn’t have taken so long. When I got home I hoped the taste would have made up for it, but it didn’t. Everything lacked flavor. I was just very disappointed. I will never come back.
