The food is amazing, old school Cantonese style Chinese food. Food is well made, well packaged and the service is very friendly. Beef chow fun, dumplings, green vegetables. All delicious. The only downside and maybe this is an LA thing, but no rice was included with the main dishes. Perhaps it's included with lunch special. I could see this place popping on Christmas.

Ambience wasn't great, fluorescent overhead lights, lots of families. But, the food was wonderful. Yellow curry was delicious and the drunken noodles were full flavor, slightly sweet, spicy, basil, yummy!

The food was excellent. Admittedly, we didn't try too many things but the stuff we had was outstanding. One word of caution... We love spice and are highly tolerant, but even 8/10 was too much. Probably going to go for 6 next time and likely still get a kick! It's a family run business with wonderful service and really pleasant ambiance. Strongly recommend it.

Eat here to get a good future :-). Yes this place is also worth to try. Good food and not that pricey. Place is not that fancy though, but I am always into the food than the place itself. So I am okay with it. Parking is a bit an issue here. If you want to take out maybe it's better.

The earliest I can remember going here was in 1999 and there is a documented photo to help remind me 😊. Point is that 23 years later we still eat here together as a family and separately. Life may get crazy but when feeling like some nostalgia, and banging Thai food, Fortune House is where we go. There are specific dishes that are my favorite but overall the food is consistently delicious. Favorite combination is when I eat here with my cousin, we order (1) Rad Na with Chinese broccoli. Before you bite in, add vinegar and dry chili to taste - enhances the dish in my mind. (2) pad ka prao - chili and basil with ground chicken and rice in the side (3) fried wontons to start. This is your reminder to SHARE (aka family style) so you get to taste everything! Best part? You’ll be supporting a family owned small business.

I eat at this place probably once a week. Great food and service. The Thai dishes and Chinese dishes are both great. I love the pad see ew, pad Thai, Tom yum soup, kung pao chicken, panang curry, and everything else! They also have beer to wash it down.

The Fortune House Restaurant has been in the valley since the 80s and it is a great restaurant they have fantastic Thai food. Its really hard to recommend a dish from the Fortune House Restaurant, because of the deliciousness. I recommend just trying something at random or if you have a favorite Thai dish go with that. You will not be disappointed.

Used to be Best Thai food in the valley,and NO MASKS USED AND NO GLOVES ,SO now 2 things are NOT good here, THE FOOD and health and safety measures .Picked up an order this Eve, walked in only to watch the older lady in the kitchen cooking,handling the containers and coming in and out to the register handling CC's and receipts,ALL WITHOUT A MASK OR GLOVES,she had it hanging on her ear off to the side,I finally asked her to put it on and KEEP IT ON , that was after I took some pics of her in the kitchen that i will post.Also having nothing to due with health safety,But,my wife,kid and I noticed all 4 orders we normally get were very tasteless,dry and the flavor that they once had is completely gone,Tasted like fast food would if Thai could be,I dont know if the place got bought or changed cooks,but its no were near as good as it used to be.Either way, DON'T TRUST there health safety until this is all over and they have changed there attitude toward COVID care !!! i wish you cared about your customers a little more .These are important things these days

Tried to place an order on door dash and needed a specific spice level on the curry. Called and the lady I spoke to was so nice and made notes to make it just the way we like it. Never tried this place before although we shop nearby. So glad we did. Food is delicious! Some of the best Thai curry I've had! We will definitely be going back!

Just go to Panda Express you'll get more food rip-off artist they've been in the valley for a years I once got an order of wontons with little chunks of meat that were the size of my pinky nail and the owner came out and Justified it to me and my family

Such a sweet and quaint place, with a well-stocked menu. The wait staff were professional and timely. They were friendly, with smiles and greetings. We were a group of 5 and took up a table that seated 8, and they were patient and kind that we were there so long. It was a great place to eat and enjoy company.

So I've been eating at Fortune House since 2004 (Saticoy and Balboa location)...a student of mine referred me to his family's restaurant. Yes, I followed them to their shopping center location, which is just as crowded as the old location. My orders always include the Chinese Broccoli w/ garlic sauce. Glad they are available for delivery as well.

I've enjoyed Fortune House for years, would go out of my way or plan my route so I could eat here. These days though, I live within walking distance. It's awesome. I'm no expert, but I like Thai food, and have eaten at many different restaurants and Fortune House is still my favorite. Nice people, good service, great food. You should try it. Even if its not your new favorite, you'll still like it.
