Great place for Laotian food. We stopped by for lunch and it took a while longer than expected.
The food tastes good but has more of a Laotian taste.
Highly recommended to call and order before showing up. We waited for 52 minutes after ordering our food to receiving. You can safely watch two episodes of Rick and Morty while waiting. I’ll call in next time to order ahead otherwise go elsewhere.
Took some time getting the food, but as you know, or should know, no one wants to work anymore at restaurants so that is the price. If you're THAT guy or girl who goes to places expecting people to worship you and wait on u replacing every SIP of water immediately, and serve you a Michelin star dish for your happy meal budget, this isn't for you, in fact no restaurant is for you, stay at home and cook for urself.
It was well worth the wait. All the food I couldn't eat, I took it home for lunch next day...but I ended up eating at when I got home 2.5hours later 🤷♀️ I think we had namh spring rolls curry (best curry had in a while, so much flavor!) I definitely was doing my happy dance 💃
This place is legit. Very tiny.
Stopped in Fresno for late lunch and came across this gem. The service was fantastic. We were a group of 5, we were greeted, seated, and had our food brought out immediately. I had the pad Thai and Thai coffee. It was delicious, hot, and the portion was great for the price. The server was personable and friendly. She was always checking on us and made easy conversation. We left happy and full!
I usually come here just for the raw beef larb. I like it spicy and bitter but somehow this one wasn’t spicy. Decided to add a couple extra dish to taste. Ordered the red chicken curry and it tasted more on the fish sauce side. I was hoping it tasted more like creamy coconut. The beef jerky was on point. Jerky is a must have with sticky rice and pepper.
i use to come here as a kid and still as an adult now i take my kids the taste has always been so consistent never disappoints a bit pricey but trust me id always choose quality over quantity any day some of my favs are nam tok (it also comes in a bowl if u like rice like i do) the egg rolls the lao beef jerky omg the curry’s and pho mmmm just getting hungry thinking of the food the lao sausages are soo good the papaya salad the tai tea everything is always made with the best quality products and you can tell in the amazing flavors
Nam Toke was my favorite, it is now the Chef's special. Calamari, shrimp, steak, chicken, mushrooms, eggplant in a spicy sauce this is my new comfort food. The service is always great, sometimes slow but well worth it. Eating here 3 times a week isn't hard and it doesn't get old.

This Place never disappoints us even after yrs being gone. 5star even the remodel looks great, and the menu history, food on point.
This is by far the best Thai food I had… I been to different Thai place all over California and out side California and nothing as good as this one.
Amazing Food, unmatched quality and friendly service has kept my husband and I coming back for 6 YEARS! Any time we are in the area (moved out of fresno) we come back here and the best thing of all is the CONSISTENCY! It's amazing the first time and everytime you come after that! Thank you to our server Robert very nice waiter who gave us great service!
My favorite Thai food in Fresno. Service is friendly and treats their regulars well. The food never disappoints!
Absolutely loved my first experience with Thai cuisine! Delightful flavors and unique dishes have won me over. Can't wait to come back for more!

I think their food is awesome. There customer service has improved a lot more than how it use to be..its more friendlier now and they check on you once in awhile, whereas it wasn't like this before. The only thing that is still the same, which is the reason why I ding go there's as often as i would to a place with great food, is that their portions are so darn small. I personally think the small portions that they give is not worth paying for. This is just my personal opinion. I know they have to make money etc but if I'm comparing it to other great places that's similar to them, their portions is too small to go often. It's only when I'm really craving the dish they gave thday nobody else does, like their laab, then I would drop by..but that's like maybe once a year. I recommend you check it out. You might think differently.
I have had years of good food from BK!
Super authentic, clean, and tasty. I wish it were a little bigger but they’ve remodeled quite nicely. The family and owner is friendly. The hours vary so you do have to follow their Instagram for random closures, ie family emergency.
Papaya salad Lao style is always good. Recommend the kheang phet curry with sticky rice! The nam tok is very good however the portion of this dish is much smaller than other Lao/Thai restaurants.
It has gotten pricy over the years however the quality is worth it and it supports a local family! I can tell the owner really cares about her business and the quality of food that her family puts out.
You can never go wrong eating here. Food is awesome, with great service, and good prices.
The food is amazing and service is excellent. Atmosphere is comfortable and clean. We had vegetable Pad Thai and Curry and Cucumber Salad. We will definitely be returning.
While I've generally had positive experiences at this restaurant with tasty food, my last visit was disappointing. The waiter seemed disinterested, focusing on other customers and neglecting to welcome us. When my son accidentally spilled soda and I requested a cloth, she sighed, walked away, and later asked us to move to the next table. Annoyed, we moved our plates ourselves. Another waiter noticed my dissatisfaction, and the original one defensively claimed out loud, "Well, it's not my fault!" Despite my frustration, we paid and left. I'd like to convey that accidents happen, and a simple cloth over the spill could have allowed us to finish our meal before cleaning. If she dislikes cleaning or is upset, why work there? Her initial annoyance set a negative tone for the entire experience. 😒
This is occurred a few years back.
Food is great, service is great, they make it extra spicy how I like it. Great lunch spot! I recommend!
The food is the best and very friendly service. The atmosphere isn't anything special, but it is clean and comfortable. Green curry is the best I've found in Fresno so far. Parking is a little bit of a maze, but I've always found a spot. You just need to maneuver carefully.
Ordered the papaya salad and pad Thai. Salad was lemony. Not enough garlic, fish sauce, and tamarind. Pad Thai was average. Kind of like a home cook made it.
First visit on 07-26, it was super good...House Pad Thai - chicken as recommended by staff.
Lunch again today 07-27....this time steak salad.... again recommended by staff... again very good.
Friendly staff, great price and excellent food.
I'll be back, again and again.
One of my Dad favorite restaurants for laab in the central valley. Definitely recommend medium bitter, medium rare, and medium everything else for laab
For some reason they love to flirt with late middle age white dudes ....but they really need to focus on their food and service. Horrible. Never coming back.
Came to enjoy a dinner meal with friends - 8ppl total. We weren't loud but were conversating and took about an hour total. Near the end, the lady hmong clerk rudely asked "are you guys done?!" From 2 tables away. My friend promptly walked up to pay. I didn't hear (until after the incident) but followed to pay. After my 4th friend paid, he noticed the clerk had double charged everyone(!); the tip was set to the same amount as our meal. We had to go back and request a cash refund since she billed our cards already. Clerk stated she didn't know what happened, must've been a "glitch" - with that attitude, it's got to be intentional.
Food is overpriced and be careful when paying your meal; ask for a receipt and double check that tip amount if you're being serviced by the loud hmong lady.
This place was BOOOOOOMB before the pandemic. But unfortunately now, they are very limited with their servings and it just doesn't taste the same. Service was okay...
Been here a few times and the food is always amazing
My go to place . A little expensive but because I've never been let down by the flavors, I'd say it's worth it .
The food is always amazing every time I go there and the service 👏🏽 😋 ♡
been coming since a kid love this place they have gotten pricey but the food is worth it to me i’ve always liked the quality of their food
Still my best Pho place since 1990
I usually come here just for the raw beef larb. I like it spicy and bitter but somehow this one wasn’t spicy. Decided to add a couple extra dish to taste. Delicious food. We definitely want to come back. Not overly fancy but nice, comfortable atmosphere. Friendly people. The signs and very plain appearance might discourage people before entering but once inside, it is a very nice place with great food. We loved the tom yum.
The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and courteous.
What a gem in Fresno! Everything we ate was sooo good! We had thum, raw beef laap, nam khao, chicken wings, and pad kee mao.
Excellent service and delicious authentic Lao food. Always feel like home every time we eat here.
One of the oldest southeast Asian restaurant in Fresno. Their food are very good. Only complaint is portion size and price. Other than that, all their dishes are really good. Worth trying this place out.
Been wanting to try, will be back to update. Heard about it in TikTok n wanted to try.. I love their papaya salad tho
B & K is one of my families favorites! Been eating here for years and the food is always consistent! Absolutely yummy and fresh. We always get the same things; Tom Yum seafood soup, their beef chow mein, chicken wings, and a pho. But we’ve tried other dishes and they never disappoint. They are super kind and always helpful. Love supporting this business
It’s my first time ordering food from B n K restaurant and I had order the papaya salad to go. I have to give it a five star because their papaya salad is absolutely so tasty and the sauce taste really different from other Asian restaurants and for that, I’m literally coming back for more of that papaya salad.
Ate there yesterday. Requested for food to be spicy but it wasn’t even spicy at all. Tom Yum soup tasted like hot water with no flavor. And I counted four shrimps. Received the soup last. The laab was disgusting and I can definitely say that the meat wasn’t fresh to begin with. The basil beef was dry and over cooked. The papaya salad was the only dish I would say is decent. Not very authentic nor delicious. Quality and quantity is on the low side. Go to Pad Thai in Clovis if you want the best Thai food around Fresno and it is well worth the wait.
Great variety of food, easily the best Thai/Lao restaurant in the Fresno/Clovis area. I love both of their Phad Thai styles, Laab, and Tom Kha (insanely delicious). The papaya salad is the best I have ever had. In regards to flavor and taste, B&K is the best hands down.
The Pho was AWESOME!!! My once week treat!!
Stopped in Fresno for late lunch and came across this gem. The service was fantastic. We were a group of 5, we were greeted, seated, and had our food brought out immediately. Very good fresh food
I have a very bad experience with this restaurant. I order small party tray raw larb and the hmong lady that work there her name is Nancy took the order. She say yea full tray for $65 dollars. When I pick up the larb they give me a very small portion only. I call back asking to talk to the owner. But this bs hmong lady Nancy won't let me. She think she's the boss. She argued with me on the phone. Just letting everyone know that this place is going to ripped u off if u go there. Small food huge price.

This place is legit. Very tiny.
Very good food
3 stick of half meatball
Hair in Laab
No whip cream on boba
I Went here with my sister once when I used to go to Fresno city college. Bad experience.
Tasty, food ready at the request time
Love the raw laab.
Best thai & lao food in fresno hands down. Must try
The waitress talked back to me and I liked it.
Sweet, professional and accommodating!
Excellent food and service!
Love the beef larb! I sweared they package more larb a while back when it was in a foam container. Now the serving is Soo small and the price is so high. Idk...got me thinking if I will be going back.
My favorite Thai/Lao restaurant in town. My fiancé and I have been going here for years and omg it’s always the best! We’ve had the Pho, Nam Tok, Papaya salad, Fried rice & Chicken and all are amazing. The owner is such a friendly and funny person. Whenever she’s there she stops by to tell us hi. I have noticed they’ve been short staffed but honestly I can’t blame the business for that. I go in there and try to be patient but normally don’t have a problem with waiting too long. Oh and btw, their Thai tea is delicious. Trust me when I tell you it’s so good!
Best food and best service.. never let me down.. been coming here for over 20 years with my family.. Nancy the waitress is always awesome and makes you feel at home.. food is consistently great!!
Best pad thai in town
Always helpful and smiling staff! Food is delicious and filling portions. Been eating here since 2014 never had a bad dish yet!!
Food here is really good, don’t let the location scare you. Staff is extremely friendly and always remember who I am and what I like to order.
Staff isn’t the friendliest. She rushes everyone without asking the need of the customer first
Raw beef lab is the best.
Love this place they have great food
Not good
Dine in is allowed now and there's two ladies that takes care of customers. They are friendly and in 10-15 mins we got our orders. We had khao piak sen, beef jerky, and coconut 🥥 juice. I was sad because they were out of the pork belly. This place has been around for years. It's a clean place and plenty of parking. You should check it out.
Very rude and take a long time to prepare the food. One of their team members told me to have a seat by the entry door because my food was not ready yet. I did mention it was for take out and I had called 30 minutes ago. I waited an additional 10-15 minutes to get my food. This was my experience at this particular location.
Love their laab
Small portion and expensive for the kind of food. With central valley earning wages place is too pricing for its citizens.
Love this place. Food is always great!
Every meal is perfect balanced. The staff is friendly
Very friendly servis great food highly recommended
Excellent service and even better food! Highly recommend.
Take out today because of Covid-19, great service great food. Thanks for making my birthday dinner a successful one.
Great food regular customer
Maybe the best Southeast Asian Food I've had! And that's saying something since I've been there and Fresno and Cali generally is blessed with great SEA restaurants. While it might not be obcious at first they specialize in Lao food. Never had Lao food don't worry the wait staff is friendly and knows how to make recommendations. Try the "Lao Beef Jerky" it's the perfect blend of sweet savory and fishy or the hot beef salad I ordered mild and it was still pretty spicy so chili light weights be warned. This is my new favorite Asian resturant I in Fresno!
Service was friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend.
Unassuming on the outside, this place is excellently decorated on the inside with food that is even better. Friendly staff and great atmosphere!
excellent fresh lao and thai food. very friendly service. authentic based on the demographic of the eaters. it's all about the food
Awesome place!! Great food!!
Taste was excellent, but the amount for the price is questionable.
Food is ok. Price is ok. You wont be WOWed, but not too disappointed also. Lol...
Great food and service
Very good food food. I’ve eaten here about 5 times before this review and I have never been disappointed. The owner is very nice and serve great.
Completely Rude and Dishonest. Filthy restaurant. Cant believe they get customers.
I really liked the restaurant had a good vibe. Plenty of people there for lunch. My coworker and I got different things. I got spicy clams and noodles. Very good meal. There was enough spice to satisfy my liking for spicy food but not too over the top. Good menu there too. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to sit down and wait for our food at a table and served us water while we waited.
Love this place great food best lao place in fresno/ clovis
friendly service and quality food consistantly
Always great food
Best Lab dish
authentic
Some of the food is very good. I like the curry fish, larb and nam tok. The only thing is that its pretty expensive and does add up. Party of five and we were close to $100. Parking is very tight and few and the location is kind of hidden. Other than that it’s always been good with customer service.
Food taste great, customer service great, cute to go bowls...BUT...expensive/small portion of food..spent 13+ dollar on labp..bearly got anything..had to go order from place..went too Laos Cafe..an boy..let me tell you..twice as much for the same price😂
Enjoyed some Spring Rolls with shrimp. They came with a Thai Sweet Chili Sauce and peanuts. Very tasty. I ordered the House Pad Thai with Seafood. Fresh veggies included with Lemon and Peanuts. I can't breef! Real Crab, Calamari and Shrimp, Yes please! Just added a little Chili flakes for my own spice and so delicious.
Good food
ugsohd
I’ve tried most Thai places in town, and this is by far my favorite. If you like Thai food, I highly recommend trying it!
Is my go to, but a tad over priced now
Love the staff
Best spring rolls in town....😍🤗
Disabled potential customers beware: No Handicap Parking and bathroom's door is closet-size narrow.
Our family went to eat at this long established Asian restaurant for Mother's Day to find their facility is lacking ADA access. This made our parents and grandmother very uneasy.
I remember coming here back when they first opened in the late 90s... when they had no windows actually. The food was better tasting back then. Currently the price and portions are in opposite directions in favor of the owner. Not a fan. Gave 2 stars because the workers were friendly and prompt despite it being crowded.
Worst customer service! I will never go back to this restaurant! 👎🏻
Awesome Loas food. If you have not tried it, you should definitely give it a shot. Foods very good and servers were pleasant.
Very good food and the Laab is off the hook.. Good spicy 👌
Great food, good service, and GREAT thai tea!
Good food, friendly staff, but overpriced for the amount you get.
This place is awesome. They are usually really busy, but the food is the best. The service is excellent too. Kong, the owner usually comes out to bring our food or say hello, even if she is busy, each time we are in. So if you want to try a little of the best Laotian food in Fresno, this is the place. My favorite is the yellow curry.
After 25 minutes of waiting for our rice plates and 4 ppl coming in 5-10 mins after us but getting their food first.. I went to the counter just to ask how much longer it's gonna be for our order since it was a lunch break and I had to drop my friend back off at work - the miserable old lady with braces whom I'm told owns the place was quite rude with her answer talking to me like I'm stupid and as if I was asking too much when we just paid almost $40 for our meal.. Been going here for years and was always treated differently but shrugged it off because I liked the food.. But not anymore. You obviously have to be asian to get treated decent in this place. I wont be going back to this establishment and I recommend you don't either. They should be ashamed.
Honestly the food is good BUT for the portion size and the price...I've had better in Fresno.
God bless
Excellent food and service
Besr of the best
Great food
Best food in town
Best PadThai in town
All time favorite Thai in Fresno
I love this place. We seem to go every time we are in Fresno. There is a lot to choose from. Pho is the family favorite.
service took forever despite it not even being busy when we came in. waited 12 minutes to get noticed by a waitress. food was more catered to american tastes. a lot of stuff tasted microwaved/reheated and not fresh.
Just amazing food and service... food is not only fresh but delicious.
The place was busy, the food good but the waiter put beef in our orer
order when we asked for chicken and forgot the soup i ordered. The building is not much to look at but we went because we heard the food was delicious. We also discovered it is not far from our house. We will go there again!
I loooooove BK Kitchen. My favorite thing is they will let you kick up the spice on their curry or keep it reasonable for those with less adventurous stomachs. New menu is very nice and I am a lunch time regular!
Chicken wings , papaya salad, chowmein, sticky rice!!! It’s heaven!!
Love this place! If you've ever eaten at Thai Fusion when it was opened. It branched out from this place. It's small but it's nice and not a lot of parking so be aware of that. You can always order ahead too. Everything I've ever tried has been absolutely delicious. If you're craving Thai food. Come here.
Last time I was here was a year ago. Decided to go back yesterday and they were closed :(
Disappointed. Pho broth was plain! and pha thai doesn't taste like how it should be. Won't be coming back.
Amazing
