We have been coming here for a few years since we discovered the Noodle Soup, which is similar to the soup we had in Thailand. You can have the Noodles mild or spicy. For me, spicy is the way to go. The spicy chicken wings were okay, but would probably be an "one & done" order. We'll try another dish on the menu on our future visits. The staff is pleasant and welcoming.

As a fan of great Thai food I seek out the truly authentic and most delicious dishes I can find.
Walking in I was greeted by a very nice lady who I think is the owner. She recommended a few specialties, one was the fresh spring rolls. These spring rolls were the most amazing and unique spring rolls I have ever had.
The green curry with chicken was also top notch and again very authentic. Lastly I ate the green papaya salad which was so fresh and well seasoned. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Since the place has a new owner, the restaurant food has become less flavorful (either too salty or too sweet) and less authentic (with ingredients not supposed to be used). My review of this restaurant has now dropped in stars.

Nudo, I asked for medium spicy and chili extra on the side what I get is no spicy at all and no chili on the side let curly pumpkin give me all a little bit the whole order I only have half of the to go box it’s not match with the price but the owner she are very good friendly

We ordered 3 items. All the items portion are very small. The shrimp roll was only half filled. The rest is just hollow. The duck curry taste very good but the meat is just like shredded duck. Very tiny meat portion. Can all be fit in just 1 spoonful. The curry bowl itself is also very small. The server lady also quite not welcoming. Refused to change to bigger table even when restaurant is empty. Refused to bring second empty bowl the first time we asked. Even water and rice is extra. Not recommended unless they change things up.

Absolutely incredible food and dining experience. Some of the very best Thai food I’ve ever had. Our server (owner I believe) was exceptional and larger than life. So much fun and couldn’t recommend enough!

I ordered food to go wasn’t much just some simple fried rice. I got there to pick up my food in 20 minutes as instructed food was barely ready, and the older lady at the front was very rude, extremely unhappy with the customer service. She yelled at me when I asked her for a receipt.

So happy we stopped by! We had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken which was delicious! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and it was so flavorful! The house hot sauce was a perfect addition if you wanted more spice. We got the green papaya salad which was a great way to start our meal! I tried Thai ice tea with lime juice for the first time and it was so good, but the Thai ice tea with cream is still my favorite! The staff are so sweet! It is worth relaxing and enjoying your meal!

Our FAVORITE Thai spot! We typically call in our order for take out. The lady is so sweet and always remembers us. The Pumpkin Curry is AMAZING. The BBQ Pork and Pad Thai with beef are delicious. Okay... Everything here is fantastic. If you're looking for reasonably priced and yummy Thai food, then you found the place.

We felt unwelcome immediately after entering. A woman who worked there sat staring at us, gesturing us to a table when we asked, but didn’t get up until she berated my wife for flushing the toilet too hard. It took several minutes for her to ask another woman there to bring us menus. We’d barely had time to open the menus when she came back to take our order. We decided we’d had enough of the strange and unfriendly atmosphere, and left to eat at a vastly more welcoming Thai place (Million, which was really good, and had clean and functional bathrooms).

The bathroom at Kumruenthai was filthy, which also made us inclined to leave. (We can’t rate the food here, as we didn’t eat, but I don’t trust the kitchen to be clean.) To be fair, there was a sign about not flushing the toilet hard, but it’s by the sink, not the toilet, and therefore you don’t see it until it’s too late.

Avoid this place. There are several Thai places in town, and we can guarantee that at least one is much better.

I used the restroom and before I could sit back at our table I got yelled at and scolded and reprimanded and lectured about having flushed the toilet too hard. That it's broken. That she heard me all the way outside of how hard I flushed.

Wow. Okaaaaay. That was a great start. Not!

Is there a sign not to flush too hard? Yes, there is. I only saw it after I flushed cause the sign isn't well placed. While in the bathroom washing my hands I felt a bit bad that I didn't see the instructions before flushing. Cause. I do.

But I certainly, as a customer, don't need to be berated for it. Don't know the place. Never been. This is not how you treat a customer.

Then upon sitting down she gave is but a minute to look at the menu then sternly asked "we ready order?" No! No I am not. I just sat down. My gosh.

That's when I consulted with the husband and we decided to leave cause as hungry as we were, we like feeling good while eating and not being rough handled.

We went to another Thai restaurant 8 minutes drive away and had a fantastic meal and customer service there.

Absolutely fantastic food and a memorable experience as well. Loved the green curry with chicken and looking forward to trying other options here. Felt like we snuck into someone's home kitchen for some of the best food we've ever had. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly restaurant with great food!

Best Thai place in the area! The the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere very homey. The vegetable pumpkin curry is delicious, and the host was very friendly and talkative. She treats you like she's your grandmother, and makes all feel at home. She taught us how to eat our food the right way, was sure that we were comfortable. We'll be back!

I saw someone else's post about the Green Curry Chicken, and I'm so glad I tried it. I had the best meal I've had in a long time. This restaurant was not as busy as it should be.
The service was spectacular, the food was served at an appropriate time, and it was impeccable!

Worst service ever.
If my kids weren't hungry, I would have left right away.
The desk was sticky and dirty.
When I asked her where the restroom is,
She told me “Look at the sign!!Don’t ask me. OK!!”
After I ordered Pad Thai, she told me something.
I couldn’t hear.
She told me one more time.
“You must tell me what kind of meat. OK!!Understand??”

She doesn’t know What the service is..

Quiet little restaurant found in the corner of your typical suburban California valley plaza. Like most of these restaurants sometimes it can be hit or miss... Well this one for me was a home run. It was my first time here so I'm a bit biased but everything we tried was delicious and seemed to be cooked with LOVE. There's an endearing quality to the inside of the restaurant and the little old lady taking and serving your order is the absolute best. Would definitely go back, again and again...

Chicken was tender. Peanut sauce on param long song had some spice. very flavorful.

Great authentic Thai place. Fresh and flavorful. You can tell they put a lot of care and pride into the food. The lady that served us was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect. Requested lower heat level was spot on for our taste. We had the drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice.

We had some noodle soup, Pad Thai and pineapple chicken curry. Everything was very tasty. My kids enjoyed their meals.
We got very lucky as the owners were hosting Christmas party with friends. We got to taste some complimentary and very delicious dishes. We were so overstuffed with tasty food on Christmas. I especially loved their hospitality and friendliness. Definitely recommend you to visit 👍🏽

Kumruenthai Thai restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The food is absolutely incredible and I would give it 6 stars if I could. The flavors are complex and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat. The service is also top-notch and the staff is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food. It's definitely worth a visit!

I ordered a scallop and chicken dish, the scallops was bad one time and the manager had to replace the dish, and then I tried to order the dish a month later and the manager refused to let me order, she kept saying that the scallops are bad again today. Making sure you have fresh seafood is very important in a restaurant establishment. I wish the manager didn’t fault people for telling her the food was spoiled. I also dined in with my kids and she told me to not dine in with my kids and to order Togo. The owner has NO customer service skills.

I do not recommend this place. Super unfriendly and rude service. I called to place an order for pick up and she said she was busy and hung up the phone on my mother. I called back asking to order again and she hung up again. This is very unprofessional. Please go anywhere else but here! Unless you want to be hung up on and treated with attitude.

Very unreliable and unprofessional lady at this restaurant. I went to order food and gave her 1 month notice, visited again to the restaurant a day before to confirm on the food, the lady at the front confirmed the food will be ready to pick up at 10:30AM on June 4th even though the restaurants opens at 12PM. I was there from 10:25 AM - 10:50AM knocking on the door but there was no one inside, she failed to keep her promise. This is very very unprofessional. Came to this restaurants only because the monks recommended, else would not have ordered here. The front lady is always in rush not ready to listen. Very unpleasant experience.

Had a great experience at Kumrenthai! Never had Thai crispy bread before and was amazed with the flavors. Ordered a rad-na with gravy dish and the honey bbq pork and both were fantastic! Great service!

Come here to get Yen-ta-fo for lunch. They are authentic, same as in Thailand. Price is reasonable. Will be back next time

Family run restaurant with the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Service is slower, but worth the wait!!

The spicy fried rice was very good. The shrimp rolls was good too. The chicken satay seemed okay. The fresh veggies rolls was a failure for me (probably because I wasn't prepared to eat them in the format that was served to me). The tamarind chutney that came with it was very very good.

Very authentic cuisine and outstanding service. Everything we had was perfect taste and proportion wise. The owner waited on us and was so nice. She actually coached us on the 'proper' way to eat our dishes and even made my plate like a mother would for her child. I thought it was hilarious and great! Thai is one of my favorite cuisines, and I have tried many places. Thankfully the best place is right in my hometown. This food is amazing, fresh and full of flavor. The owner treats guests like family. This in itself gives me warm fuzzies and reminds me of growing up in an Italian family. You won't be disappointed!

Family owned restaurant. Authentic Thai dishes served. Had the Tom-Kha with Coconut Milk Soup, Spicy Eggplant and Spicy Prawns and Scallops. Very, very ,very good. Excellent service by the Staff.

Portions could be better for the price, and the Thai iced tea is bland. But otherwise, this is a good place.

While the food was very good, especially the spicy eggplant 🍆, while charming the service was a bit pedantic. We both were actually spoon fed. 🤷‍♂️🤷. I enjoyed that for about 3 seconds. Chicken wings, which are always a personal favorite were over cooked, and the sauce while good, was a touch too sweet. My companion had the pineapple shrimp fried rice. The flavor was lacking, but zipped up with the house special chili sauce. All I can say is that I was glad we ordered the eggplant. I'd try it again, hopefully next time mamma san will leave her boys to their own devices. ❤️

One of the best Thai restaurants we've been to in the Bay Area!! All the dishes had incredibly strong and savory flavors. And not expensive at all! Definitely underpriced for the top notch quality. It's so funny, sometimes you go to fancy restaurants you pay $40 per person and the food is mediocre, and then there are restaurants like this unassuming little place in Fairfield, you pay $20, and the food is delicious and the ingredients are super fresh!!

This place is absolutely wonderful. We loved our food and the recommendations that they provided us, and we can't wait to come back. Thank you for putting so much love into your cooking!

This is the BEST Thai restaurant I’ve visited in Fairfield! My go to whenever I crave noodles.
I occasionally order the pad se ew and drunken noodles and it’s always delicious. I love the freshness and I’ll continue to come here for good Thai lunch & dinner.

This place has delicious authentic health conscious cuisine. Vegitarian/vegan options available. The host's service makes you feel as though you are a beloved family member visiting her home. Food is delish. Love the wings, the roast duck, and all of the fried rice. Highly recommend, go for pickup instead of DoorDash, cheaper that way.

Food was delicious! Husband & I went for lunch on a Saturday. We had the spicy chicken wings, Pumpkin Curry with chicken, BBQ Honey Pork and Musmun Curry which was fabulous. The waitstaff was very attentive and super friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return often.

New owner, delicious fresh food. The spicy chicken wings are to die for. The coconut delight is like something you would get in the city. The service is great!

My new go-to Thai place. Panang Curry full of spices and aromatics. Had it with beef and the beef was tender and flavorful. Pumpkin curry with tofu was absolutely yummy. Great waitress. This place is one of those hidden gems you'll come back to again and again.
