Hidden Garden offers the experience of healthy Thai spicy salads and authentic Thai food. The culture of every house in Thailand is about family -- spending time together and many times, having a great meal using the herbs, vegetables, and fruits that are grown in their own backyard garden.
Thai people use the herbs from those gardens as ingredients to cook and serve their families. This idea was born out of a culture that believes the health of the family starts in the backyard -- fresh and natural.
Hidden Garden believes in this culinary approach. A new and fresh way to present an enlightening meal for your table.
Excellent restaurant! The service was outstanding, and the waitresses were incredibly friendly and attentive. We ordered the papaya salad, the specialty spaghetti Tom Yum Kung, and the fresh ginger duck. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this spot for a memorable dining experience!
I really don’t want to post this. I usually love Hidden Garden, but today was a huge miss on several levels. First, I arrived on time for a pickup order and was told that one ingredient (papaya salad) was not ready. I ended up waiting fifteen more minutes for a dish that isn’t even cooked. When I got home, the hot food was cold from waiting on the counter, and the Ka pow chicken was half empty. The food also ended up being way spicier than medium… we couldn’t finish it 😭
Hidden Garden Thai Restaurant is a true gem in Culver City! From the moment you step inside, the cozy, inviting atmosphere feels like a warm embrace, offering a truly authentic Thai experience. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone, and the flavors are absolutely incredible. The Pad Thai and Green Curry are phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home each visit. For us, Hidden Garden is more than just a restaurant; it’s become a second home for our entire family. My little granddaughter, who’s almost 2, is already a big fan and loves the delicious Thai dishes. Whether you're stopping by for a relaxing lunch or a cozy dinner, I can’t recommend Hidden Garden enough for Thai food lovers and anyone looking to try something new!"
Excellent Thai restaurant. We came in for a quick bite midday, had duck (in red curry) and it’s some of the best tasting red curry I’ve had - and I get it often. Also had Thai iced tea and crunchy shrimp appetizer. The atmosphere is soft and welcoming for families, couples and all. Great decorations and ambiance.
This restaurant is truly a gem! Been here two weeks in a row, last night tried the crab egg rolls; they are simply delicious. They also have sukiyaki noodles on the menu, which is rare in a Thai restaurant and they were very yummy! I have tried 2 different curries, and although the yellow curry is my favorite, all the curries are generously portioned and full of meat. Add shrimp to anything you order, they are delectable and no tails to worry about! I really can't say enough about the food, and the service is friendly and quick and the restaurant atmosphere is really relaxing and nice. Will be a customer for life. May thanks and congratulations to the owners and staff!
We have been going a few times, ordering to go land most of the times everything was very fresh and well presented. The place itself is really cosy and cute, every detail is well thought of. Not a lot of parking spots.
The dishes are quite expensive though, we tried the crab rice yesterday, for 22$.. A very generous portion, but the first time that we did not find something to be very flavourful.
On the other hand, the soups are delicious and the pad Thai really tasty.
Delicious and well presented unassuming Thai food. The flavours were well balanced and the menu offered many vegetarian options. Would highly recommend. They even served iced tea exactly how my friend requested- simple but most places have challenges delivering it- hot, freshly brewed tea and a cup filled with ice.

Delicious food and service was excellent.
Had the best experience at Hidden Garden Thai! We got the creamy tom yum soup, crab rolls, panang curry and pad kee mao and everything was delicious. Our server was so helpful recommending items and checking on us. He even packed up our leftovers for us which was a nice touch. This is our new go-to thai spot and we plan to come back very soon!
Very cute and quite spot to talk and eat.
Really delicious Thai food! We had the green curry and fried rice. Glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Definitely must try!
I absolutely love Thai food and have a hard time finding a place I love on the west side. I have only had some alright food until I came across Hidden Garden. The shrimp spring rolls and pad kee mao are great, but what absolutely blew me away was the pad woon sen and the Thai Garden veggies and rice dish! I went back 3 days later because I couldn’t stop thinking about how good it was, and have been a very consistent visitor ever since. Please, please try it. I will give you $100 if you don’t like it. That’s how good it is.
They have some of the best and most authentic Thai food in town. Staff are very friendly, courteous and mindful to guests!

Very nasty and rude male employees. Don’t eat there or get take out find another Thai place
New favorite Thai restaurant in West LA. Really delicious food at reasonable prices with plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Service was really efficient and friendly and the atmosphere was very cute and neat. Will be returning.
Very solid food selection with friendly staff and a quaint atmosphere.
One of the best Thai restaurants and great lunch deal.
Always a pleasure going! Everything is so spectacular and just being somewhere where everything is so great while eating makes it even better!
The food and service are excellent, always happy to back to this place for my fave boat noodle 😍
Great friendly service, foods excellent. Very clean area.
I've been at HG's a few times, never disappoints.
Amazing Thai food! Pad Thai was delicious and the flavors were just wow!
The best Thai in the area. Always a tasty delight. Spices are on point and full of flavor

Stellar all around. Each dish had a unique twist, and everything was delicious.
The choco sweet roti was spectacular.
I was genuinely impressed with the food. A proper and authentic Thai, and very delicious.
High-class service! I usually come here because I really like this place and the food. We have a waiter who always serves us and remembers our preferences, even when we may have forgotten them! The Tom Kha and yellow curry are great; it's what we always have! Thank you so much for being so attentive to your guests!
Wow! Loved the seafood soup. Made my day 🍜
I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of my delicious food. I had the eggplant which was delicious and the pepper chicken lunch was delicious and that Thai tea I could bottle it up it was delicious!
Staff is very nice. Food quality and taste us amazing!! Best Thai food I have had.
Their food is excellent and truly authentic. Our server was fantastic as well. If anyone is in the neighborhood and wants great thai food, you'll love this place!
Great Thai food. So far the closest to authentic "Thai Spicy" place I've seen so far, not just in this area, but in the whole of LA (they could still stand to increase the heat though, imo) . Non-spicy and vegetarian options available. Bring your own alcohol with a receipt. The roti, green curry with chicken, and pad thai were all delectable. Great service. It's a little hard to spot, but it's in the terracotta colored strip just south of the McDonald's. There's parking in the lot or on the street.
Food is overpriced for small portions. Management is horrible and one-sided. The crybaby noodles are disgusting with no flavor. Yellow Curry is not good chicken is tough and the carrots and potatoes are extremely hard. The shrimp were ok...I paid $50 for trash!
Apparently, they changed ownership a couple of years ago. The new management is much more amenable to substitutions, which was my complaint about 5 years ago. We hadn't been back since then. This time we had the roti with a curry dipping sauce. The roti was crisp and flakey. Delicious appetizer. My wife had the yellow curry with chicken. It was very tasty. I had the khaw soi (their spelling) which was very tasty. Nicely arranged restaurant, nicely decorated. Lots of takeout traffic. A group of about 6 came in after us, and it wasn't a problem to seat them. Parking in the tight parking lot is limited. You may be better off parking on the street. There was one guy doing greeting, serving, bussing. He's pretty efficient, but could be a problem during busy times.
Great spot, easy parking, clean. But best of all... delicious 😋 food!!! Eggplant was silky spicy!
We did takeout.
Great take-out
Great food
We got five dishes. All of them great especially the Yellow Curry and Pad See Yew. Price not too bad either. Staff was super nice and the interior was sleek.
We have been going a few times, ordering to go land most of the times everything was very fresh and well presented. The place itself is really cosy and cute, every detail is well thought of. Not a lot of parking spots.

This place is near by we all decided to give it a try with four of us, that way we could sample more of the dishes.it didn't disappoint everything was hot delicious and we had left overs as well. A hidden gem in the strip mall.
Love this place. Simple, really good and nice service. Highly recommend it.
Solid place for Thai food. Admittedly many solid places for Thai food around here, but just about everything here is pretty good. Just wish parking was better.
Delicious pineapple curry. They gave a free green tea ice cream for Halloween 😊
I absolutely love this place! I came in for the Pad Tai and it was very delicious. But their Tom Kha is freaking fire! The Chicken Mushroom Curry Soup is to freaking die for, I got the large with extra chicken and I've died and gone to heaven! Definitely making this my local Thai spot moving forward. Excellent customer service and easy ordering online for pick up.!
I ate at restaurant, service was really attentive. Took food for take out for two other people but as soon as I was heading out, he asked how was the service and I let him know I was satisfied, his reply was “oh yeah because I noticed you didn’t leave a tip” Was going to bring my family next but after that I’m sorry but I will not return.
-expected to tip no matter what !
We found the place through Google maps and it was delicious. Great food and friendly personal. Looking forward for the next time.
This restaurant is truly a gem! Been here two weeks in a row, last night tried the crab egg rolls; they are simply delicious. Hidden Garden is a “hidden gem”. Delicious! Also, good value. I will definitely be a frequent visitor.
Had a great experience at Hidden Garden Thai Cuisine. Tony and his staff are very welcoming. The food is made with love tender and care. Authentic Thai dishes and flavorful. Atmosphere is very clean with lots of instagram worth shots. Would recommend everyone to try this place out. It has Andrew’s stamp of approval. 👌
Food is very tasty but the tofu curry was not nearly enough food and included very little tofu.
Delicious food and kind service in an intimate, aesthetic setting. My family has been looking for good Thai food since moving to LA two years ago. Most places were mediocre at best. We knew once we tried the light, crispy, and stuffed to perfection vegetable egg rolls this place would be our new go-to. We ordered the yellow curry, ka pow, pad Kee mow, and chicken noodle soup and everything was absolutely delicious!
Great tasty Thai foods. I have ordered food from HG multiple time and food is fresh when it arrives .
Our daughter treated my wife and I to an anniversary brunch here. The service was pleasant, and the food arrived in a timely manner. It was tasty and flavorful -- until I pulled a long hair from my mouth. My wife, daughter and nephew were enjoying their meals so thoroughly that I hated to ruin if for them by disclosing what I'd, so disgustingly, found in my meal. The waitress was gracious and apologetic about it; she offered me a free dessert when I declined another dish, but admittedly my appetite was, like, done with for the rest of the day. Such occurrences are, I believe, easily avoidable and thus inexcusable. Visit at your own risk!
Very Welcoming Staff, made great recommendations. Small but cozy dining atmosphere. Definitely a must visit.
Great service, good food, lovely setting! We used to come here often when we lived in the neighborhood but we hadn't been in a while. Loved the improvements they've made since our last visit - especially the gluten free options on the menu! Would love to know which items are soy free as well.
Thank you!
Delicious! Got green curry with beef and some Thai iced coffee. Fast and friendly service! Here in LA on vacation or I would be back again shortly!
Came here a few days ago with my husband and 2year old son. The waiter was sooo nice. He was very attentive and polite. He made sure my son had his own plastic plate and utensils and his plastic cup with his straw. We had the seafood soup which was DELICIOUS!!!! We ordered it spicy and it was perfect! All the flavors were there! We also had the fried rice and my favorite the Pad see ew. I will definitely be back. I love this place!
Incredibly friendly staff. Solid food. I rarely write reviews but this place earned every inch of my respect.
Cute spot, very clean, great service. We come every few months. Just wish they were more consistent with food salting/ flavor. Their pad se ew is bland
Hidden Garden used to be a treasure but sadly is now under new ownership and the quality and ingredients have gone down.
11/3/22
I used to LOVE this restaurant and their unique take on Pad Thai. I was informed (after ordering on UberEats) that the company changed owners and recipes. I was SO disappointed by the way the food tasted and the attitude the owner gave me when inquiring about the new changes. Unfortunately, I will no longer be supporting this business. 😞
They were able to take over the reviews/accounts from the previous owners. So any reviews before October 2022 are NOT from the new owner/menu.
The food is always fresh and full of flavor. And the service is exceptional.
I went to visit with my husband and my two year old daughter last week to stop by for the lunch special. The atmosphere was very calm and decorated beautifully. My daughter loved the light fixtures which distracted her while we ate. The waiters were very accommadating and quick with the service. The thai iced tea is one of my favorites and Hidden Gem did not dissapoint. We got the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew and it was very flavorful and well made. It also came out pretty quickly so we didnt have to wait for long. Will definately be going again next time I'm in Culver City.
True hidden gem. Most authentic Thai spices on the west side. Amazing drunken noodle / pad kee mow. Delicious peanut sauce. Great sweet sticky rice. Fast delivery. Super prices. Our friends love it too when we host parties.
Best Thai spot on the west side. Had the drunken noodles cooked w the perfect spice level. The look of the spot is cute and well thought out. You can tell the owners put a ton of love and care into this spot.
The food was gross. Ordered a yellow curry that was white, had no flavor, no peas like the description, and an entire onion in it unlike the description. The shrimp in the fried rice was brown and smelled horrible. The pad Thai had the wrong type of noodles and also a ton of onions.
Ordered take out from here. I had the pad Thai, chicken teriyaki over rice and the papaya salad with a Thai iced tea with no ice. The food reviews for this place are so good that my expectations were high and it all came crashing down. The pad Thai was as dry as cardboard and the chicken teriyaki was worse than a school lunch. The papaya salad was ok the best dish from what we got but it was still sub par. The Thai iced was delicious but ridiculously expensive at $5 without ice, for that price I could have gotten boba and a larger size. This place now sets a new low for Thai food in west LA. Never coming back…this garden should stay hidden.
So impressed! Thank you so much for making your pad Thai on the “dry” side, other restaurants have been making it really sweet and saucy lately. Been looking for a great pad Thai and I definitely this this is the spot ! Everything else we have tried has been excellent as well.
Spend your money here. It is very good
To go order...Paid $13 for chicken pieces on overcooked white rice, 3 slices of cucumber and 2 sauces. Nothing else. I was totally disappointed. Could have gotten this simplistic meal for $7 at Panda, and it would have tasted better. Also, Tom Ka soup had very little taste of the coconut milk. Very disappointing...I won't buy from here again.
OMG!!!!! This place is a Hidden Gem! Don’t let the strip mall fool you! This is the BEST Thai food I’ve tasted. I’m a vegetarian and my boyfriend is a meat eater. We got the same dish. The Ka Pow is AMAZING! I got mines with Tofu of course, and he got chicken. It was just layers of flavor. The nice young lady that took our order was patient and gave great suggestions. This will be our local go to for sure!!!!!
First time at Hidden Garden and it’s officially my new favorite Thai restaurant! The food was fresh, light and very authentic tasting! The interior decor was inviting and modern with a homey and botanical feel. Wonderful service and they took great care of us! I will definitely come back again!
Crab pasta has hard flakes of crab shell blended with crab meat. It's impossible to eat. Please don't make such mistakes.
The food is pretty amazing here and the service is one of a kind. They have an awesome menu and their prices are very low.
Our go-to Thai in Culver City. Authentic and delicious. Never had a bad meal. We especially love the Pad Kee Mow and Thai Garden dishes. The roti is also yummy, but feel it is priced a bit high for what you get. We have dined in and gotten take out.
Insanely good. Unique. Beautiful. Great service. Super yummy food
Pad thai and ambience was amazing
This place is always a delight, they're really good with remembering your order. I normally get the Tom kha soup but the bamboo shoots can be annoying to chew through at times. The roti curry is the best as an appetizer!
Delicious Thai food, great service, and a really cute space. The Thai Sukiyaki was especially good.
My wife and I got delivery from here and have eaten in the restaurant once. We've tried a bunch of dishes which have all been really good. The Thai roti dessert, which is pretty hard to find, is really good here.
OVER CHARGE A WONTON SOUP $15.00 IS SO EXPENSIVE THERE AND NOT WORTH IT
The food tastes fine, but it's way overpriced. 3 items is like 40 dollars and the servings are small. Not worth it if you want to buy for a family.
Good place!
I am not ashamed to say that I've eaten here twice in the span of 24 hours. The flavors, the great menu, very clean place and very nice service. I think im coming back tomorrow😂
Not worth the money...at all...taste wise and portion wise...
Really the best Thai food on the westside in my opinion, and it's not even close. I like a lot of similar places, but I'm also a fan of very spicy food as long as the spice has flavor and is not just aimed at making your mouth hot. Their "Thai Spicy" version of green chicken curry and panang beef curry are not spicy and incredibly flavorful. And, it's
A place where I can get my spice on while my wife and kids get zero spice and we're all happy. They've been a great ray of sunshine for us in this pandemic.
I order from Hidden Garden about once a week. Always excellent! They are very clean and polite and they make the BEST Thai food in the area. I’m vegan and there’s many options. All good. I love everything “Thai spicy” and it’s always perfection!!
The first and only time I would ever go there, never again. I ordered their signature pad thai thinking that you cannot go wrong with the most basic item. The menu I got from the restaurant listed shrimp in the description. When I got home and opened the box, there were only chicken. Terrible chicken. Super dried and flavorless. And there were no crushed peanuts. How can one serve a pad thai without crushed peanuts. Never going back again.
Great thai food! They had some unique options their menu and I want to go back and try everything! We ordered take out and loved the pad see ew, creamy tom yum soup, green curry and the garden rolls were amazing and fresh!
The best Thai food in town. Thai is my favorite so tried a lot of places but the food here is outstanding!
I was in the mood for shrimp, so I ordered Tom Yum soup with shrimp and received a total of 2 shrimp. And I ordered pad thai with shrimp and received 0 shrimp. I also paid $9 extra to have shrimp in my garden roll, which amounted to a total of 2 shrimp. If you’re running low on shrimp, you should notify your customer. I would have ordered different dishes. Very disappointing — I will not order from you again.
Yum!
Friendly staff, great service, great food. The Ka Pow chicken is🔥🔥
Definitely go during lunch hour to take advantage of their lunch menu which has great prices.
Very good place for Thai food lovers. We visited from the East coast and had dinner there twice. We like very spicy food as can be evident from my numerous reviews. The first time we ordered 'medium' which wasn't spicy enough. The second time we ordered Thai spicy, and the spice level was perfect!
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. If you order delivery from this place, do not order any noodle soups. its a nightmare tryin to eat it unless you have a big bowl you can pour it all into. They separate the noodles from the curry broth, which makes no sense, and send it in a rectangle box too small to combine all the ingredients.. love thai food. the flavor was good, but the experience was bad and not worth it.
Great atmosphere... The food is good quality and truly unique experience.
The food was good. Me and my date enjoy the atmosphere, plan on going back soon. It has been dub our Tai food spot.
I would have given this place a 5 star But not enough food for the price. The food is very tasty
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Food and service was excellent! I’ll definitely be back here. 🥘 🍽 ❤️
Lunch deals are what's upppp, papaya salad, rice and entree for less than $12
We loved the plates we chose which were yellow curry, pad see ew, and shrimp Thai fried rice. The flavor for all three were WOW!! We eat spicy food all the time and asked for the heat on the curry to be medium but was a bit more spicy than we thought it would be, but still enjoyed it.
The waitress saved me tonight. I'm in LA for two days and had a craving for a particular dish, since I don't get the opportunity for good Thai food. I searched google and found the spot. Made the track and ordered my food. Wrong dish came out. Realized I pointed to the wrong item on the menu. Waitress sensed my disappointment and offered to change it, and did it cheerfully. I really did appreciate that. Especially since I was set on that dish, and would have eaten what came out anyway. Oh, and the food was exactly what I'd hope it would be- amazing! Good quality and fresh. Cheap for the standard. Great ambience too. I got lucky tonight.
Consistently good and high quality food that’s reasonably priced
Consistently great food, fast service, and a nice atmosphere.
This is a cute little spot in the middle of a little strip mall area. It would be really great as a date spot or a quick chill spot. It's nicely decorated (trendy) and their service is fast and their customer service is impeccable.
Why the 4? Because, the portion and flavor of my Tom Yum soup and pad see ew didn't match the price point. The food was just "nice".
Dirty restroom. Cook was extremely rude, and by his appearance looked like a dirty man.
Awesomesauce. This place is legit good. Like WOWOWOWOWOWOWO
Long Lines are worth the wait so prepare yourself. On that note it would be great if the restaurant joined the Yelp Waitlist option, maybe google Reviews should come out with one of their own. Very convenient for those who do not like to wait in line or cant.
This place is really a nice hidden gem. Panaang Curry is really tasty, off the charts good.
The parking isnt that great and the place is a bit small but its a nice place to bring a date.
Prices are on par but the flavor and service are better than most restaurants in the area.
Definitely a place you should try, may want to try going on an off time.
Service was very very friendly.
Keep up the great work peeps
We get takeout and it’s delicious. Highly recommend!
Great food with excellent, friendly service. They have an excellent selection of vegan/vegetarian options in a dedicated menu section as well.
I am here they close 3 pm it is 2.45 era mi primera ves y la.ultima ves quiza por q soy latino entro alguien mas y si lo atendieron
Spicy delicious food. They will modify any dish for you, And the service is great.
Good! Food was cold when it arrived to the TABLE. But was worth trying again!
The vegan pad kee mow was served with fresh fried veggies and tofu seared to perfection, with no excess oil dripping from any of the contents. One bite even had a rosemary surprise. The quality and the freshness justify the restaurant's fitting name. But be warned: of four spice levels (mild, medium, spicy, Thai spicy), the second level (medium)--a cocktail of chilis and chewy green peppercorns--already had this lad sweating and panting. For the faint of heart and even the mildly adventurous: Start with the mild and build your way up. With super-fast service, this restaurant is highly recommended!
