First time here and the food is really good. The price is really good, too and they do catering. I would cater here next time! There is free delivery within 2 miles from here. Pretty convenient for next time you want to stay in and still eat delicious Thai food!

Rosie Thai food in Covina is delicious! I often come here to pick up takeout for my family. Our favorite dishes include the Tom Yum Kai soup, barbeque chicken, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew. The dishes are packed with flavor, and the taste is consistent throughout the menu. The serving sizes are generous and we often have leftovers for the next day:) The owner is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend you check it out.

Under New Management!!! Yes!!! Last time I came it was meh. My dad said after the change to try it out that they are good again. So I visited with my dad today an it's improved so much! It's a small cute spot, prices are pre-covid for Thai. I appreciate that the staff was able to speak Thai to talk to my dad. I ordered pad see ew but had special requests, my dad ordered some Thai soup he likes that's not on the menu. They were able to accommodate both of us. It was packed when we got there and everyone left right before we did. Food came out great and everything was tasty!!! Give it a shot!!!

The food is really good. I ordered takeout through their website, fast and easy. The prices are affordable compared to other Thai restaurants. I'll definitely be coming back to try other dishes. If you are in the area or live nearby give them a try.

A hidden thai gem on route 66. They have really good pad thai, thai iced tea, fried rice, noodles, everything really.

Parking: they have enough parking.

Atmosphere: it's very cozy and private.

Staff: the staff is very polite and provides excellent customer service.

Food is absolutely scrumptious, the Ka Prow is amazing.. Tom Yom soup is the perfect blend of sour and spice. Will definitely be back! James and his brother offer the customer service you don't find at places anymore.. 10/10 experience

James went beyond exceptional customer service!! I have severe food allergies (seafood, shellfish, and nuts.) He prepared my meal with precaution during the entire process. He consulting with me and everything turned out fabulous!! I can't thank him and the staff enough for making my evening enjoyable!!! I wish I can give them 10 stars!! Did I mention my pad Thai, fried rice, Teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and the sweet and sour chicken was delicious!!

I try not to leave bad reviews unless it's dire but this has to have been the worst Thai food I've ever had. Thai food is my favorite cuisine and I eat it a lot and this was the most strangely tasteless Thai food I've ever had. I had the red curry and prik king (medium spice) and both looked okay but it was so bland and watery tasting it was surprising when I took a bite. Like I legit thought "do I have covid and just lost my sense of taste?" But nope I could taste the Thai iced tea and the next meal I had lol. Anyway big time bummer.

We ordered Thai food from Rosie's the portions are very small and overpriced. They also got the order wrong. I would not recommend this restaurant. I asked for my money back because the other was wrong he said I was stock with the food.

We ordered a last minute dinner from this restaurant. We did pick up. Food was ready before estimated time. They advised us to call in order next time so we are not charged any extra fees. We drove by it numerous times. But decided to try it out. It’s absolutely delicious! Hiden Gem! We ordered the yellow curry with chicken medium spice, vegetable pad Thai, spicy Thai shrimp fried rice and the Rosie platter appetizer! All was delicious! We will be returning customers!

The food is so much better... Just met new owners after not eating here for maybe 1.5 yrs. The cook is from the same town in Thailand as my mother in law. Delicious authentic Thai food! Wish they had grand opening bc I've been going across town for my Thai fix and I live just down the street. Only downside is they can use more TVs in their dine in.

The flavors here are excellent! The lunch and combo deals are great values but I enjoy things family style so order the ALA carte and get the big portions. If you like Thai food definitely give this place a try.

Good customer service and fresh food.

My first visit & I was excited to try diff. dishes, but it was a huuuge disappointment. We've tried so many Thai food all over LA & usually leave with positive experiences. But Pad See Ew needles were over cooked & had absolutely NO flavor with old fishy smell. Beef in the Panang curry looked old & not sure it was beef. Thai restaurants are usually very good about using the fresh beef, but theirs tasted like soaked in the meat tederizer. Orange Chicken batter was soft & saggy. Only things we liked was Pork Jerky & side salad. The WORST Thai food we've EVER had. And we are Asians!! We can cook better food at home!! There are so many other Thai places that are soooo much better in the area. Very sad experience.

Oh my goodness. What a delightful meal. Flavorful, fresh Thai food. Wonderful service. Humble decor makes the explosion of flavor even more surprising and delightful. Don’t miss this place. It’s a winner. Tried the dynamite wings, drunken noodle with beef and red curry with chicken. Every single dish impressed me and my husband. Best Thai iced tea ever!! I’ve been routinely searching for delicious Thai food across multiple states since the 90’s. This place is near the top of the list for quality, flavor and service. It’s not fancy but it tastes as good as any posh Thai restaurant and the service cannot be beat. I ate too fast to take photos but I’ll add some next time! The yellow curry is delicious!

Rice was served cold. I asked if the broth for the curry was vegetarian (it usually is made with coconut milk, but it never hurts to ask). They said yes and they could add tofu.
Ordered a red curry. They gave me a yellow curry with chicken broth. To them, a dish is vegetarian if it has tofu and veggies in it.
When asked for the order to be remade and if they have a vegetarian broth, again, they gave me an empty bowl... don't know why.
Explained to the waiter we wanted the curry to be vegetarian. He took the empty bowl back and gave us the chicken curry again.
Sent it back and I just figured I wouldn't order anything.
When we were saying we had ordered red curry, they denied us and said we ordered yellow. Weird.

I really needed a warm up after the rainy day, and was hankering for some soup. I was not disappointed! I couldn't remember which one I liked better Tom yum or Tom ka, they were super helpful. I ended up with the coconut milk and shrimp. Absolutely sublime. The shrimp was fresh and delicious, I can be picky. I'm in the middle of eating it and I had to write this review it's so good. He told me I would be back and he's right I will be!

Simply put, they give tiny portions of food for the price. We left the place still hungry and ate somewhere else to avoid racking up the bill for more rice just to get full.

We had two combos and they were great! Just the right amount of food and it was fresh tasting at a good price.

The banner says under new management and this is true. The restaurant is clean and the woman who took my order was friendly and welcoming. She answered my questions about menu items and made me feel very welcomed and valued as a take out customer. The Thai beef salad was prepared with fresh ingredients, plenty of juices instead of dry like so many others...the best I've ever had and they will prepare it to whatever heat preference you like from mild to hot. Will definitely put Rosie Thai Cuisine on the sure to return list.

Recently phone been busy when I've called so had order in person. The guy that's been serving is new to me & a little goofy but nice. This food is so AMAZING. LITERALLY EVERYTHING. I’ve had like 10 different items, pad thai, seafood soup, wonton soup, shrimp tempura, TOFU (Ive never had tofu this delicious) every fried rice is Amazing and so is the sticky fried rice with mango ! The Thai tea is so good. And they give you hefty servings for very reasonable prices. This is literally my most favorite find EVER. And it doesn’t end there ! The service is great ! It’s only one woman on the floor and she gets busy but tries her hardest to help people as fast as possible. She is so insanely kind hearted and accommodating, she gives me and my family free small thai teas when we dine in. This is a great small business to support, these people work hard and they have a passion for their food you can taste. You will NOT regret visiting this place, I mean it !

I didn't grow up in this area of Covina but lived here for a few years and stay with my sister in the area every time I visit from NYC. I've been going to Rosie Thai for awhile (it must be 15 years at this point) and this place holds a special place in my heart. In recent years, I hadn't gone as much since portion sizes got a bit small while the prices remained the same.

We revisited Rosie after the change of management and anticipate going back REGULARLY. I'm shocked that they're able to maintain such low price points with delicious food. Portions are reasonable, too.

I had pad see ew and it was absolutely amazing. My mom had eggplants and she said “very very good” but in Chinese. My brother ate his chicken faster than he ate my mom's so my mom was slightly offended that he liked this one better. Portion sizes were pretty big too. General consensus is food is very good. The atmosphere was very clean and nice too. Should have more customers ngl.

Great prices and wide selection! There online system for ordering is fairly easy to use and they prepare the food quickly. I had the pineapple fried rice and it was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the texture or flavor of the beef so I ended up picking out half lf it and discarding it. However, the rest of the rice was wonderful!

Came to visit my grampa at the cemetery with my daughters, my sister and my mom. My original plan was to eat at chili's but decided to eat here, and I did not regret it. Food was fantastic except for Kung pao chicken to salty my my taste. My favorite was the orange chicken, the ratio of chicken to batter was perfect and flavor was so good. The service was great they were very kind, and food came out fast, but restaurant as not packed so I don't know how there busy hour is. If they read this review thank you for the great food and service.

I may be biased, however, I have been coming here since I was a kid, and it is still the best Thai food spot! I've lived in San Diego and now reside in Riverside with my husband, we STILL drive to Covina for Rosie's! It's a must try! The pad thai, chicken satay and the curry dishes are delicious! My husband loves the pad see ewe! Honestly, it never disappoints, and they are pretty quick with to go orders.

I wanted to give you a good rating but you just won't let me.I left your restaurant it took me three whole minutes to get home,I immediately called to tell you that you missed the noodles in my noodle soup, but you don't want to answer so now you get a 1-star review.I've been wanting to give you a one-star for a long time, I know that hurts business but I just don't care anymore.

Edit: the whole meal was terrible from undercooked super hard potatoes and watery Curry to underwhelming soup with no noodles and mushrooms that taste like they're rotting. Now that I saw that you serve me rotten food I have to do something about this. I called immediately and hopes of getting good food or my money back and I will get my money back.

Short Ribs ordered by my wife were over-cooked. I ordered shrimp from the Dinner Menu. It was tasteful. I ordered lemonade and it was about 55% to 60% filled with ice. The Hostess said, it is normal to give you half ice and half beverage for drinks. I was insulted. She told me I could have water but no refill. I feel it was presumptuous on her part to assume that I would want all that ice on a winter day or any other day. I won't be returning to Rosie's Thai Cuisine. Perhaps, it was a language interpretation but a negetive one for. I am a senior citizen.

Good food

Authentic Thai cuisine in a very cozy setting! Service is excellent and waitresses are very friendly. Many dishes and drinks to choose from. Just dont be thrown off by all of the antique/memorabilia stored off in a corner of the restaurant. There are always items there and I have no idea why.

TL;DR: My orange chicken had more hair in it than chicken.

My first time here, and I had takeout. Chicken pad thai(their specialty?) and orange chicken.

The pad Thai:
It didn't have much chicken in it, and what chicken there was tasted a bit bland. I also found a single bean sprout and one tiny piece of green onion, so it seems they either forgot to actually add that into my meal, or they just have teeny tiny portion sizes for those /s. On top of that, the noodles seemed overcooked. Too sticky and too soft, so they would mostly break off in clumps. The noodle flavor wasn't bad, but it also didn't look coated in egg at all. It looked like they scrambled an egg and tossed a spoonful of it into the container. When I'd had enough noodle, I moved onto the orange chicken!

The orange chicken:
My first piece had way too much breading. It was surprising how little chicken there actually was! It tasted/smelled alright but wow. And then my second piece ... Well, I took a bite and half way through chewing noticed a hair sticking out of the side still on my fork. Blegh. I decided to cut up the rest of the pieces just to see if they were all as bready as the first, and they were.

Overall would not recommend.

I had horrible service. The waitress was very rude. This is not the first time we had bad service but my parents wanted to go eat there so I joined them. The service was bad from the beginning so I told my parents that I would not be staying for lunch and left. Turned out they stayed and had an awful experience themselves. We will never be going back to Rosie Thai Cuisine! It is always empty too. I wonder why??? That should of been our first clue!!!! :(

Bad service has driven us away. Food was good & the lunch special is a bargain but their service has not been good. They brought us the wrong drink and insisted that it was what we ordered. My wife was willing to taste the drink but the waitress said that if she did she could not send it back. This is the second time we've had problems but it will be the last.
The 2 stars are for taste and price.
