First time trying this local restaurant. We ordered online, payed upon pick up. They even gave a courtesy call when the order was ready. I enjoyed my meal very much. The pineapple fried rice was great. The papaya salad had a jerky type steak. The chicken strip appetizer was tasty but pricey. The curry was yummy.

The tom yum soup here is delicious! We get it every time we visit.

We also ordered Panang Curry with rice and their Pad Thai. Both were flavorful. I was hoping that the curry was a bit spicier though.

Service here is great! They usually only have that one server but he does an amazing job really navigating several tables all at once. Also always so pleasant and kind. He is a huge part of why I would recommend this place.

PS: When we visited, there was a couple of old folks who talked to us before they left and expressed how this was their first time and how impressed they were with the food, then asked us what we plan to order. Lol.

The food was delicious with large portion sizes so you definitely get your money's worth. I ordered the pad thai (vegetarian) and it was enough to serve two adults and leave us both satisfied. I don't know why I didn't try Thai Orchid sooner, but I'll definitely be back!

Ordered the chicken red curry looked very nice but was so salty it was inedible. Told waiter he said that’s how we make it. Disappointing.

The coconut chicken soup and the mango with sweet rice are my absolute favs!!

FYI: The hours posted on the internet are incorrect, which is frustrating. It says they're open for lunch on Saturdays from 1:00 to 3:00, but they are actually closed until 4:00.

Once we were actually able to eat at the restaurant, we had a great experience. We had four different entrees at our table and every one of them was excellent, as were the service and surroundings. We'll return very soon (and often :-).

Authentic Thai food, a hidden secret spot a mom n pop restaurant. Found enough vegetarian and vegan choices. I would recommend going “Thai spicy”, which is spicy enough at level 5 anything more than that you start loosing hair I guess.

Tried for the first time, it was sooo good. Staff are very friendly. Relaxing atmosphere. I'm looking forward to eating here and trying all of their options. Definitely recommend!

I ordered 2 Pad See Ew for the first time in this place and is the worst I have ever had. The taste was bland, and the noodles are stucked together! I wasted almost $25. Will go and stay with MyThai for Thai foods.

First time at this restaurant and oh my gosh I loved the food. Every single dish that we ordered was so good especially their wonton soup and thai basil fried rice. Highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. I will be going here again for sure.

We got the shrimp satay and pad see ewe with tofu.

The noodles in the pad see ewe was definitely overcooked, to the point where we ate them in clumps rather than noodles. It made me feel like I was eating mush. The tofu and broccoli in it were good, but overall the pad see ewe was underseasoned and quite bland.

The shrimp satay was also overcooked, and the shrimp was quite tough and dry. The peanut sauce was not flavorful enough to overcome the lack of seasoning on the shrimp either.

Overall, it's not the worst Thai food I've had. Maybe if I was back in college and broke this might do the trick, as it's not terribly expensive (though moreso than other spots). But the lack of seasoning and overcooking brings this down to a two.

I wish I could give a better review but there's nothing positive to say. They should step outside their restaurant and try the competitions menu's. I had the yellow curry. It had potatoes that should be cut down to a size so you can get it into the spoon and only one carrot. The service, well let's say WHERE IS THE SERVER?
Ten minutes after leaving my tongue taste like salt. The quality overall gets 2 stars and that's the best they deserve.

Best Thai in a very long time! Everything ordered was absolutely great. Very tasty!

I ordered for the first time tonight through Doordash. I accidentally ordered fried spring rolls instead of fresh. The restaurant was kind enough to change my order and have it ready quickly for the dasher. I appreciate the dasher waiting an extra few minutes too.. I am impressed with the great customer service and the food is really good. The dumplings and mango/ sweet rice was excellent. I'm saving the spring rolls for lunch tomorrow:) I will be ordering from them again again!

I rarely post negative comments but I was so disappointed to say the least. I have my favorite Thai restaurants but thought I'd try this one. Keep in mind I only ordered (tried) 2 dishes so this may not be a fair assessment of the restaurant as a whole.

With that being said, the Roasted duck curry was bland along with the Pad Thai. The duck was very tough. I wanted to throw it away after one bite...but I was too hungry. If this was the first time I ever tried duck...I would never order duck again. Very disappointed...hope your experience was better than mine.

You have to try the pineapple fried rice its the best!

The pineapple rice was amazing. I brought home leftovers to my husband and then kept stealing bites as he was eating it. It was crazy good.

Also really pleased with the flavor of the coconut soup. Not as many chunks as others, but the broth was perfection. I could just drink that stuff every day.

Also got the panang curry which never disappoints if you like peanut flavor.

Staff were really friendly and the time estimate they gave on the phone for when my order would be ready was pretty accurate.

Very disappointing to see a lack of care with food preparation. There was a label on one of the sliced bell peppers, and whilst its not going to make me sick, it does raise the question of whether the vegetables are actually washed or not.

Foods are ok. Pad thai have raw green beans. We didn't like it.

I ordered food from grub hub but it came late like 2 hours late!!! I know it’s not the drivers fault because driver picked it up and deliver it unde 10 min!! We can track. . It’s the restaurant’s fault !! I ordered wayyy ahead of time . I had the time selected way ahead of time and still the order came 2 hours late!!! I was hungry and when I am hungry, I get cranky = [ Bad service ! Please care to improve in the future .

Ordered the Drunken noodles, and I'm not sure what they gave me.. Drunken noodles have lettuce and no egg.. this has eggs and no lettuce.. Store was happy to remake them, delicious! Just not the classic recipe, but delicious!

Don't sleep on this place they have great food and sadly it is hardly ever busy. The red curry is fantastic and so is pretty much everything else

During these rough times this place still manage to bring great taste in their dishes they made for us. Price is what I expected average for a Thai restaurant but the quality and quantity was worth every cent. The drunken noodles that I ordered was way above my expectations and when I finished my dish I was left wanting more. I definitely will be returning.

My favorite Thai place, yes the food is good but the best part here is the owner and his sweet niece.

It's just OK. Service is slow and food is not that good. Curry is watery and good is bland. They give you big portions but food consistency is not regular

Food is delicious! The staff is nice and it doesn't feel awkward and stuffy. Its very nicely decorated with elephants. I love elephants a bunch. Lol I was told that there are orher places called Thai Orkid and they are not all owned by the same people. I don't know about the others but this one was great. We had Drunken Noodle which is only hot/spicy by request, veg tempura which was green beans, broccoli and sweet potatoes i think and the sliced mango with rice. Perfect sweet treat.

Alright this is the second time i've ordered from this place on postmates. The first time I decided to get the drunken noodles despite me usually getting curry at thai places. So, the second time i went there I got the curry instead. The curry was super tasty and had all the typical, quality ingredients you can expect with thai curry, but it didn't come with rice. This is mainly confusing through the postmates app, but in my opinion, you shouldn't have to order a side of rice with your curry; it should always come standard with it.

Very mediocre experience unfortunately. We ordered using the online menu option. Coconut shrimp was not cooked properly according to someone who had raved about them.

So the staff must have had an off night. Chicken satay was not hot. Sauces all around we're a tad too sweet for my taste but others in our group loved them.

Pad Thai was very heavy on the sauce. Again, it seemed like they were having an off night.

Good stuff

Quiet with friendly staff. I liked my dish with a good level of spice. Most places the dishes come out bland even when ordering spicy, others it is too hot to enjoy. Nice to get one with character but doesn't bite back.

My wife and I eat here fairly often, and are always pleased with the food and the service. It is never very busy at lunch time, so I hope more people try it so they can continue to serve the great food!

Always have amazing fresh food!! Staff is always polite and respectful. Hardly ever packed and food is made in a reasonable time. They do have 2 TV's that usually have the game in but don't have the sound on so you can still enjoy dinner. Food is fairly inexpensive compared to most Thai food.

I do take out from here 2 plus times a month and the food is always excellent. My order has never been wrong and always has napkins and utensils. Usually no more than a 15 min wait when I just walk in. Great service the few times we dined in as well!

Flavorful authentic Thai food. The only place so far in citrus heights. Its can get busy and there might be a wait but it's worth it. You Must try their Thai Basil fried rice, Pad see ew and Thai green curry!

The flavors / herbs/ spices explode in your mouth that's how flavorful their good is. I would recommend THIS restaurant . This place surpasses all the others.

They didn't have a lot of options, but the choices I picked, were delicious, there food is good, wouldn't mind going there a second time or more..if I could.
