I'm gluten intolerant so im always looking for places I can eat at! When I asked the server questions, she knew all the ingredients of each dish, making it really easy for me to order! She mentioned all the soups are gluten free, and many dishes use mushroom powder. I ate Tom Kha, which was absolutely delicious!!!!! And the Chicken Satay was good too! Both gluten free! The people that worked there were also very kind and made us laugh, very hospitable which made our experience even more sweet!
I highly recommend this place! I'm looking forward to coming back!

Really good food. Flavors were on point here. The papaya was a little fishy tasting. The red curry was good too. We came here on Super Bowl Sunday weekend. There was a long line. They do not provided sit down dining so to go orders only. My order took about 30 minutes so it took a while to make.

Pad See Ew (My go-to Thai favorite) was excellent! I had my tiny with me, so I requested way less than usual spice only at #1, but we both loved it. There's also Sriracha at the tables to supplement. Our server was so nice talking with us and speaking so kindly to my daughter. I requested the taro milk tea, but they were out of Boba, so I will have to try next time. I was charged for it anyway, but she gave me one without Boba when I noted it. Parking may be limited, and the strip it's in was a tad rough, but I'd definitely eat here again! There are only 3 tables, so you might end up taking yours to go.

Their sweet sticky rice wasn't sweet, the pad thai was too sweet, and the yellow curry was extremely runny and flavorless. Looking for a local Thai food place after the sad closing of Lai Thai in National City, and this was definitely not it.

Its a small restaurant that makes some great yellow curry along with some house fried rice and some sticky rice with mango for dessert. The people that work there are beyond

Picked up lunch for my son. He ordered Tom Yum, and He said it was delicious.

The food is so good, they used super spicy chilies then elsewhere, so if you can’t handle too spicy, I recommend to go like mild or mild-medium. Highly recommended this restaurant.

I tried this place because of the ratings. I ordered the Mango Tango Chicken, Drunken Noodles with Chicken and egg rolls. None of the dishes had taste and the chicken in both dishes was extremely dry. The egg rolls were just okay, crunchy but fairly tasteless. I was very disappointed and threw what was left away.

Very good food and at a very reasonable price. The only draw back is that there are not many parking spots, and if you have a large group of people then it's not feasible. Best is to order take out.

Pad thai noodles were soggy due to being drenched in a sauce! I've eaten this dish many times at different restaurants and never has it been prepared this way. The wait was horrible and disorganized. I will not be eating here again.

Staff was friendly. I ordered summer rolls with shrimp and pad Thai. The summer rolls were large, fresh and shrimp was tender. I'm used to the rolls having the white noodles with fresh veggies but these were a mix of lettuces with no noodles. Their spicy level is 1-10, I got a 5 for the pad Thai and it's not that spicy. The sauce was sweet, very tamarind flavored that covered the other flavors but not bad. the dish was extra wet with plenty of chicken and fresh veggies and was a large portion.

Food is phenomenal and their is seating available, but it's really just meant to be a take out joint.

Delicious Thai food

I called on 12.16.23 at 5:40, put in an order and was told it would be ready in 20-30 minutes. Arrived at 6:10 and it was not ready. Waited patiently but then at 6:40 (an hour later) I asked if my order was ready and it turns out it was “next” to be made. Bro, really? So after an hour I still have to wait more? Nope, not doing that. I ended up going to the place next door, ‘Ranas’ I think it’s called and it was decent.

I really enjoy this place and it usually runs well when the ladies are at the front. I heard the cook tell the guy at the front, “just tell them it’s not ready and to wait outside”. No place no matter how bomb can justify an hour + wait time.

The food was so good. We ordered a full spread between 3 of us to try everything and it was amazing. Yellow chicken curry, cre cheese crab, gyoza... more than I can type. Everything was delicious.

The a/c broke when we visited. So it was a food pickup order. The food was tasty and quantity was decent.

Uber driver delivered to wrong address for my 1st order, had to physically picked up in store on the 2nd order. When the owner heard that, she is very considerate and offered complimentary. She is extremely nice and their food is super yummy. This will be my only to go Thai food start tonight!! Highly recommended.

This was my first time ordering here and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I was so excited because they offer so many vegetarian options and I don't eat meat. I ordered online so I didn't have to wait for my order, I could just pick it up. That worked out horribly. I highly recommend DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I could say they food is great, but the service was not great. I ordered my order online at 7:14pm and did not receive my food until 8:14pm. I watched many different people walk up and order and they all got their food before me. I had informed them I ordered online and told her my name and she told my 5 minutes and I was fine with waiting 5 minutes. I had arrived about 23 minutes after I placed the order. I waited well over 5 minutes and watched a bunch of people get their food before and I asked again and they just had found my order at this point and realized it was never put in and they had to start it then. I was furious, I asked if I could get a discount or something for wasting my time. The lady gave me a small discount, she gave me $11 back on a $50 bill. They offered me drinks, but I don't drink caffeine. They offered a milk tea and never gave it to me. I don't know if my meal was supposed to come with rice, but I didn't get it. This was a pretty terrible first experience because of service only. The food was okay, not great.

The food is delicious!! I love their Panang Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai. The only bad thing is that they don't always bring the same amount of vegetables and meat.. sometimes the amount is too small, no matter the time that we order.
Other than that, this place is great. We come here very often and always recommend it!!

Ordered food through Uber. Ordered the Thai fried rice, Hot basil, and beef and broccoli. Fried rice was a mush with no flavor. Hot basil was ok, but not spicy enough. Beef and broccoli was too soupy I think they forgot to add starch. Beef was very tough. Would not recommend.

This is my favorite Thai spot in Chula Vista. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the Panang Curry or drunken noodles.

Having lived in Thailand, I know good Thai when I find it. Krua is a no-grill spot with tons of flavor. Not to mention, the service is incredible. I’m always greeted with a smile which is the tiny details I look for in a restaurant. Their param stir fry, parang curry, drunken noodles are soooo good. My office used to be a few blocks away and I’d look forward to ordering a few times a week. The restaurant is tiny so recommend ordering out.

We ordered Cheesy Crab (Rangoon), Pad See ew with pork, Fried Rice with chicken and Tom Kha Soup. To be very honest, we did not like the taste of the food. The Pad See ew was thrown away. The chicken in the fried rice was extremely dry and we had to add our own fish sauce and sriracha before we could eat it. The soup was extremely sour and over powering any coconut milk that may have been in it. The ONLY thing we actually enjoyed, was the Cheesy Crab wonton. They had a lot of flavorful filling and cooked perfectly.

We ordered egg rolls, pad see ew along with other dishes. The qty was good. The taste was perfect. The website doesn’t mention that only take out option is available.

As others have said, the portions are generous. BUT. This place still thinks it's 2020 and refuses to let you sit at its tables. Your paying the prices of a sit-down restraunt that does not allow ypu to sit down. Good luck getting to this tiny storefront, it has 1 parking space and shares megre parking with 5 other businesses.

Food was great. Will go spicier next time cause the flavor was so good. Wings were good but breaded a lot. It’s just different.

I've ordered panang curry here twice and both times it was delicious! Big serving comes with chicken bell pepper and carrots and is just spicy enough. It also comes with a side of rice that is warm and made just right. Friendly, quick service, for pick up orders. The outside of the restaurant doesn't look very nice but I've peeked inside and it looked very clean.

Bomb food and great options. Mega delicious Thai tea! 9/10 because they had no WiFi available. Otherwise definitely recommend trying it out!

The drunken noodles were delicious! Level 5 is very spicy. I kept having to fan my mouth. Great stuff. The spicy crab noodles were great also, but there were a lot of bits of crab shell I had to keep spitting out.

The staff is just super friendly and very nice. I love picking up here. They are by far the friendliest place I go to in San Diego. I love this place

Drunken noodles are usually brown in color and savory. Krua's recipe more closely akin to Pad Thai. It's red in color, sweet/chili/vinegar flavor. It's nothing like I thought it would be.
I was disappointed and didn't finish my meal.

We ordered a couple of dishes for our Valentine dinner and it was below par in my opinion. I’ve had better Thai food.
Dish 1) Salmon fried rice
Dish2) Pineapple fried rice
Dish3) Pa Cha Talay
Dish 4) Stir fry egg plant
Dish 5) Pad Thai
Dish 6) soon noodles

The only dish I enjoyed was the PadTalay and the STIR FRY Egg plants. The other dishes were bland and dry.
Pineapple fried rice is my favorite but not from Krua Thai. I have no idea what ingredients they put in but it had some yellow curry paste in it.
We ordered 2 of each dish and were not able to finish even half of the food because it was so bland.
Besides the food, Grubhub was an hour late as well.
When our order was placed , ETA was 7:20 pm and our food was not delivered until 8:50 pm.
Wish I hadn’t tipped anyone on my credit card.. Lol

Good Thai food and good prices. I think they have a lunch hour special. I recommend checking it out

food is awesome it comes completely covered there's 6-ft distancing and nobody's allowed in the restaurant so you don't have to worry about anything being contaminated and they use the thermometer for their for the workers

We got the Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. As you can see from the picture, it was all so good, it didn't last long. Will definitely be back. Yum!

The mock duck is amazing. Every dish I've had there is awesome. It's best to order there & wait 10-15 minutes for your food. I ordered online once & it delayed it. Thai coffee & tea is great. Service is wonderful. Desserts are fabulous. Shop at the smoke shop next door while waiting for food!

There was a major issue with Grubhub. Basically Grubhub cancelled my order because the driver arrived at 4:30pm, right when Krua Thai opens. They say they called the restaurant, but I’m skeptical. Also why would you send a driver right at opening. You know food won’t be available! Moral of story is Grubhub sucks. Not the first time, but it is the last, they screw me over. I called the restaurant direct and a gentleman who might be named Tha helped me out and delivered the food to my family. I was out of town and wanted to make dinner easy for one night. Not only is the food always good, but they came through. Thank you.

Parking definitely sucks as they're in between a barbershop and a smoke shop, and the lot is tiny. The location is easy to miss, and you'll need to park across the street or down the street from it.
