Solid Menu great options for most tastes. Very authentic Lao renditions or traditional Thai style dishes. Decent drink selection with a couple of south East Asian imported bottled beers to choose from. For Pho lovers the combo pho is the way to go it has it all . Great orange chicken for the beginners and delicious pork belly and sausage are great starters. Be adventurous and explore you won’t be disappointed

Variety of fried broccoli, eggrolls, chicken wings, and jerky. Paired with the sweet and sour sauce, it was perfect. I also tried the Boat noodle and Sukiyaki with chicken. Best broth ever! My favorite was the Sukiyaki, I added some lime and chili oil which they provided and it elevated the soup. Warning: the jalapeños in the soup are VERY spicy!! Staff was super friendly and their menu was very descriptive too. Thank you!!

Finally satisfied that Thai food craving in the Central Valley. All places we've tried prior have been garbage and we generally just skip it or go to the Bay Area, but this one is fire! Well worth the 20-minute drive for us ! Super attentive staff. Shoutout to Jason (the new busboy who happened to be working his first shift during our visit. He should be promoted to a server sooner than later also.) Will def be back.

This is the best Thai food restaurant that I have been to where I do not need to drive an hour or more to get to. Food tastes like my mom's cooking. I've grown up eating Thai food my whole life and this one has made it to my top 5 Thai restaurants to go to. If you are in the area and are craving Thai cuisine, hit this place up.

I dined at Sticy Rice Thai restaurant today, and I was blown away. Delicious scratch-made food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. We tried the Beef Pho, Drunken Noodle, Spring Rolls with peanut sauce, and the sampler platter... all were delicious and fresh. My favorite, if I had to choose, was the "Regular Fried Rice" with BBQ pork... heavenly. I will be back again and again.

I asked for my noodles to be extremely spicy--enough to make me cry and staff laugh. I am very happy!!! It's spicy! No tears, but plenty of sniffles. GENEROUS inclusion of whole and sliced peppers, with plenty of seeds! I cannot wait to eat from Sticky Rice again.

I have been eating here for some time but I have noticed the service is getting worse this time my family and i walked in at 7:50pm and the sings closes at 8:30 pm. They would not give us a table because they diced to give take out orders only. Very unfortunate because the food is good

Ordered pork belly rice cake, it was old and hard. The lao style papaya was not that great. House platter was not flavorful, everything was too oily.

Our order was incorrect so we called and we were given attitude by the male that answered the phone. Entire staff was extremely unprofessional and I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Parents went there to order spring rolls, were given egg rolls instead even though I spoke with the waitress over the phone and clarified it was spring rolls and a pad Thai. Called to ask about and Eric brushed us off claiming they “repeated the order” to my parents and that my parents reviewed and approved the order. Parents claimed they didn’t repeat the order and they’re just saying this to avoid “loosing out” on their purchase. Just seemed like there was some attitude given from both Eric and the waitress after spending $75 there. Hopefully they aren’t in a management position. Either way we won’t be returning. But tbh they probably don’t even care. 💁‍♂️

so I found sticky rice new place of business on Mitchell Rd which I haven't had in a while due to prior spot had caught on fire. so disappointing the service was sorry and to top it off as we was about to leave could not believe wat I saw a cockroach crawling on my table next to my plate how foul

Pad Thai is very good. Keep in mind medium here is spicy at most other places. I ordered spicy and I had to pay for it later at work lol the medium is the way to go. Best pad Thai since eating at Bangkok in Merced. That's a hard spot to keep up with. Says a lot. Only thing is the bean sprouts are cooked with the noodles instead of being put fresh on top. No big deal though. Still some very good food.

This place is super delicious, my favorite place, was so excited to see them back and open for business. Workers are pleasant and sweet and accommodating. Only suggestion would be to change out florescent lights, way to bright and does not give a causal setting like last location. Please use softer lights, only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Other then that would be 5 stars

Was extremely disappointed in the service at the new location. Food was NOT the same as the old location, it was worse. Nothing had any flavor. We had to sit and eat with our baby in our arms because they have no high chairs, and to top it off, they forced us to pay them their “gratuity of 18%” because we “brought in a large party” when it was myself, husband and kids AND we cleaned our table, stacked our own dishes for them to be removed.

Last time I drove by looks like they went out of business

The last time I came in here, I ordered some tofu spring rolls. They gave me shrimp instead, which I am allergic to. I only got to the parking lot before I figured it out and brought it back inside. The male server was really rude about it. I tried to explain what happened and he acted really annoyed that I dared to even ask him. He could really use some training in customer service. In terms of the food, it's excellent!! I love the peanut sauce. It's so bomb. Place would get 5 stars if the service was better.

I came to this location to pick up pho. the customer service was friendly and quick. I giving them 3 stars for the employees. As for the pho, it wasn't bad. it was very plain. The broth wasn't as robust as most other locations I have been to. I didn't try any other food. just the beef and sea food pho. Both were pretty flavorless. Maybe I just came on an off day. If we decide to try it again and we have better tasting pho, ill defiantly update my review.

Extremely disappointed. Unlike all other Asian food places that offer orange chicken in bite size chunks. Sticky Rice serves slivers of chicken that were heavily battered to make them appear larger than what they actually were. That’s being deceptive. I spent $53 on a dinner for 3 people. Only the rice was good. Panda Express is a lot better than this.

I had the pleasure of meeting and assisting the owner of this authentic style Laos 🇱🇦 and Thai 🇹🇭 cuisine restaurant yesterday with his cellphone insurance claim. My plan was to simply bring him his new cellphone, set it up and activate it for him and then be on my way. Instead, while sitting in the restaurant with the owner and working on his cellular device, I couldn't help but notice so many customers coming in grabbing large take out orders. Seeing this while also smelling the sensational aroma of superb Asian cuisine, plus being very hungry after not having a meal for several hours, I had to kindly request an order to go of the Combo Fried Rice Medium Spice entree! The owner quickly told the waiter exactly what I wanted, gave me a complimentary soda and before I know it, I'm walking out with a full to-go bag of my tasty dinner after assisting the owner with his new cellphone. Once I made it home last night and reheated my Combo Fried Rice Medium Spice meal, I scarfed it down with absolute savory satisfaction. Literally 1 of the best Fried Rice dishes I've ever had! 😋

Ughhhh I’m so disappointed. I’ve eaten here before a few months back but it was dine in and actually tasted good. Ordered pad Thai beef for pick up through Doordash since I was close by and it was sad. Pad Thai was super bland, and beef was overcooked. Also for the price point $12+, you don’t really get as much. Definitely not worth ordering takeout.

Quality has gone downhill. Every dishes were salty. Ordered crying tiger, beef was over cooked. The server didn't even care to ask if they can make a new one for us. They even charge $10 for noodles and broth no meat or vegetable. Wow.. I was shock. Well will be last time for me there.

Food is alway good here, the chicken satay is by far my favorite appetizer. Plus they've really updated the dining experience with using QR codes to get to the menu.

Eloped and had an impromptu lunch there. The staff was so sweet and made my husband and I a dessert. We usually order out as their food is delicious. Dinning in is always a treat. Forgot to get pictures of the food because it was so good we inhaled it.

Greasy food, not good taste

The yellow curry was packed with protein and vegetables but it was so bland. I also ordered the mango sticky rice which was the best out of the four items and I added the leftover coconut sauce the the curry. It improved it immensely.

The chicken Satay was super dry. The pad thai was interesting. Weirdly it tasted more like a Mexican dish which isn’t necessarily bad but it wasn’t exactly good either.

I added peanut butter and stir fried the leftovers which again improved the taste.

I use to love this place. The young servers lack customer service. If you're looking for lack of professionalism, then sure. Otherwise, stay away.

My attempt to get some Asian food was a complete failure. Got an ice tea and bad service. Left overpayment for the tea and saved some money by not ordering the food. The place is dark and didn't smell all that fresh.

Went in with family from out of town young girl sat us down then refused to serve us we asked for our drinks 4 times she just laughed and ignored us after 30 min of her serving others that came after us .don't know if it was because we are Hispanic but that's how it felt.. finally got up and left.

Pad Thai is definitely different. I typically get sea food that just means shrimp, but there sea food is a mix of crab and calamari and i am not sure what. Not a good mix. Definitely not going again for pad Thai

I love this restaurant. I've ordered on the phone from them and ordered from Doordash. They're pretty quick fixing it all up. Their food has so much flavor. I love how they always give me a box of rice as an extra. My favorite is their Japanese eggplant entre and their pad Thai and their drunken noodles. Very delicious!! Highly recommended if you are craving Thai food or tasty noodles. One of my favorite restaurants in all of Stanislaus County.

It’s not nasty, but it’s not delicious either. I got the yellow curry with chicken. The potatoes are hard and undercooked and the chicken is tough, and overcooked. Also, they put a lot of weird things in here that i do not like. Large chunks of mushy eggplant, mushrooms, whole basil leaves (Im confused if this is supposed to be a garnishment, because its soft and mixed right in)? It’s definitely not what I think of when I think of a traditional curry. The sauce flavor is good, but that’s about it. I might try something else on the menu but would never order this again.

I go to this place all the time Even before they we're called sticky rice I order 5 chicken padthei to go the other day and got home sat my family around the dinner table to eat open up the container instantly smelled burnt taste burnt so I call and said hey what's going on we never had This problem before I mean I know the cook can smell when something burnt but they packed it up and sold it to us anyways and The lady said the manager not in but I'll have him call you back which he never did smh never again

I truly enjoy their food And USUALLY their service is courteous but today, the girl who took my order was incredibly rude. Sticky Rice, I like you but you can’t assign that lady to the phone because it creates a bad impression of your business.

I've been there twice. The first time the service was pretty good the wait time was a bit long certainly but the food was absolutely tremendous. Yellow curry. Spicy. Green Curry with pork spicy. Just perfectly delicious in every way :-) Rich creamy perfectly cooked vegetables and some new flavors :-). The second time however it seems like it just kept the same vegetables in the cooker for 24 hours? Rice was gooey sticky and the service was slow and there was a questionable character hanging out side :-( for an hour... Getting up walking around sitting back down and drinking :-(

Called to ensure our family could eat dinner there tonight. We are celebrating Father’s Day with our four children. Was informed we wouldn’t be allowed in because of the size of our party. Manager was not working today when I asked to speak to them. Not sure how businesses plan to stay profiting if they are not accepting large parties nor are family friendly. Horrible service. Will never eat here.

Good yellow curry and Thai tea. Inside looks cool. No wait to be seated when I went, Friday around 1. Pretty quick after order I got my food. Food was dressed up and looked great. 8$ lunch special comes with Rice. I'll be going again.

The food was very bland, $80 meal that was so awful.. I don’t post often but $80. Cold when it Arrived... Threw it all away. Beware I just cannot believe how many good review I read. Stay away go go McDonald you will be more satisfied.

The food was under cooked I got the orange chicken. The brought me the wrong dish at first. I didn’t get one refill on my drink. We only saw our waitress twice and that was to bring our food and drinks just the once. The service was horrible.
