I called the number and it went right to voicemail, and it said it wasn't set up. I did check the number I dialed and and it was the number in their site. We ordered four dinners to go online with their the Saas they use Toast. We had to specify level of spiciness in the notes of each entree. The app stated it would be ready at 5:25. I arrived in the area by 5:30 and parking in that area is an absolute nightmare. There are no reserved spots to pick up and with several other restaurants in the area, I had to park on a street quite a ways away. I found the restaurant and they said all of the online orders are being held up because they ran out of rice. I feel like they could have notified in the app that was the case so I didn't have to stand there for an additional 10 minutes to wait for my order. I did see a Grub hub sticker on the door, would have been nice if that was listed on their website. Food was delicious, and spiciness level was spot on.

Recently found a good restaurant with great service. I love that it is family owned and everyone is super friendly. I love everything we ordered. I highly recommend their yellow curry chicken, spicy beef fried rice is a meal on its own, and crispy fish with veggies (I don't know what it's called). This is one place that you would like to try.

Find decide to treat me a nice dinner. I order Thai ice tea which is my favorite drink. Order appetizer Desert Thai Sampler it was okay, they fried all appetizer, I prefer a couple things need to be steamed.
Also Tofu Delight I don't care for it because too spicy. Service was great.

Wow stumbled upon this when I was doing errands in town. This is my new favorite lunch place in the low desert! Nice value lunch with an iced tea entree and either soup or salad. I ordered the Panang Curry and the soup got both amazing and flavorful. Every service person from the front to the back were really pleasant and kind and attentive.

over an hour to do a phone order and didn't have my order ready when i came - then when i came the order wasn't even right - no apology - they acted like they were doing a favor to me to correc they order they messed up lol. this restaurant is a joke.

Off the charts !! 10 outta 10 all day ! Authentic Thai food here and they are super friendly too! Great vibes nice environment and plenty of room to sit. The pad see u is the most delicious plate I’ve tried !! Come down and see that I’m serious about this one! I’ll travel a hour every time no problem! Thank you guys !

Not the best Pad Thai. Not much in it but noodles and a few sprouts. Calamari was unconventional. Large chunks that were chewy and hard to eat. Fried together with peppers that were unnecessary. Expensive lesson.

Came here early after hiking Bump and Grind. Good lunch specials every day.....large portion, had to bring some home. Liked the Red Curry and the Kung Pao.

Only had their Spicy Fried here to go. I’m only here visiting and it’s really the only Thai food I found. Place seems authentic. Rice was stickier than other Thai rice I’ve had but it was good.
I’ll come back again to try other stuff.

Poor service we have been going for some time on different occasions one time they seat us right in front of the restroom this time I ask not to be seat there and the waiter gime me an actitud and make a face . We wait for over 35 minutes they serve two other tables even saw our plates going to the wrong table they took the plates back to the kitchen and I went to check for my food and ask why is taking so long there excuse was they been busy I mention them about their error and one of the waitress start telling me lies I told her what I saw.
I went there for the food but service sucks

Big disappointment with their food. Not authentic at all! We had Pad See-Ew and it came out so wet with noodles sitting on a bed of sauce, and it was so so salty. The service was slow due to short staffing, but our waitress was very nice.
Sorry, we can not recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the pad si u, and my husband the pad thai, the pad thai was not good and mine was decent, the service was bare minimum, had to get my own extra napkin, but the complimentary tea was nice, but had to ask for condiments and refill on drink. I’m still looking for a good Thai restaurant that we can go on the regular. This is a pass unfortunately.

The food was delicious! We were greeted right away by friendly and welcoming staff. The menu had lots of options, we all got something different and shared. Everything was wonderful and big portions too.

Service by wait staff pretty good.Went during lunchtime. They were very busy. 4 of us . We all ordered from the lunch specials I had pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. They only serve 2 shrimps on it , which is ridiculous. Pad Thai was mediocre with a bunch of shredded carrots in it. The peanut sauce on the salads is fantastic though. Very lil room between the booth tables with chairs on the other side so sometimes the waiters butts are in you face which is unacceptable to me. Not bad and not good just. . . eh.

I have checked all reviews of the Desert Thai Authentic Cuisine and decided to place an order. My order was above $100.00 and I did not get real Authentic Thai Food.
I have ordered the most expensive items from menu and the food was awful. The fried calamari tasted like dog treats, small pieces of calamari with pounds of tasteless flour mixture around them. The Roasted Duck, which should be good, was putrid, small, and dry! I got for my wife the Desert Chicken & Shrimp salad. It was bland and tasteless with 3 medium size shrimp on the top. The seafood soup was okay.
This is not real Thai food. This place is not even using the basic Thai ingredients. If you really like Thai food this is not a right place for you. I have just one question where all these positive reviews coming from. Never ever again!

Thai food was very tasty with alot of flavor. We shared the cashew nut chicken and mango with sticky rice. Serving size was good for us to share as we were not very very hungry. Appetizers looked good, maybe get some next time.

I’m not sure what is authentic about this Thai restaurant? They had no Thais in the restaurant, I’m curious if whoever owns the restaurant has even been to Thailand? The food at best was by westerners who think they know why Thai food is.

Food were pretty bad...I don't think they should call this Authentic Thai restaurant...nothing is Thai about this place. You can't even find a single Thai person work there. I get it, I used to work in Thai restaurant, and I'm not even Thai, but come on...Thai food is very traditional so u will need to have at least 1 person who is Thai or Asain so your Authentic flavor is somewhat there and not all Americanized. Okay, let's start with food, we ordered Thai Basil with beef, and the whole dish has no Basil it, and it tastes like there is a pound of salt in it..another dish with pork - which I can't even tell what that is...and again so salty.. tum yum soup tastes like dish water...just sour and that's it..no flavor from kaffir lime leave...we ordered shrimps papaya salad - same thing forget Thai flavor...not even a slight of Asain flavor...no lime juice.. no fish sauce.. nothing... worst Thai place I have ever had!!!!

I've had dinner here several times and it's been excellent.

We had two great dishes that were loaded with colorful vegetables. One was First Scallops and the other was mixed vegetables with prawns. Both were amazing.

Group of 5 with 3 checks handled very efficiently with very good service. My hot desert basil was excellent... spiciness was just right.

I ordered Hot eggplant, but when the food was serve the eggplant were still cold, the eggplant were thick slice and I realized and made me think why its cold when some of the food were hot. We got our food right away after ordering the food, we waited for 5 minutes.

The desert needed another good Thai restaurant and we are not disappointed. Really nice staff and the food is good. They have an outdoor patio and indoor seating. This place is simple and doesn't look "thai" but the food is better than the other local Thai restaurants.

1st visit here, excellent all around including value. Medium spicy leaves a nice aftertaste. Lunch menu has a great selection too.

We were a party of five, the service was great. And everyone really enjoyed their meal. I had yellow curry chicken another friend had the green curry another friend had desert tie and another friend had a combination I think shrimp and something we were all very happy and agreed we would be going back again soon

The calamari was disgusting. The stuffed chicken wings and the sauce they gave us was really good. The Pad Thai was really good. The desert Thai shrimp salad was OK. Service was pretty chaotic. It's not a bad place to go if you're just trying to get some dinner for the night but probably not gonna be a favorite.

My husband and I were visiting Palm Springs and I Googled Thai food for dinner. We were very impressed with the quality, freshness and flavor of the food. I am very picky with my Thai food since it’s my favorite of all foods. My husband doesn’t really like it so he was not too happy that’s what I had decided we were having for dinner, but for the first time ever, he loved it! We gave our compliments to the chef, Adrian. My husband can’t wait to go back. We highly recommend it.

It is ok here. But given the spot they are located I had expected better. Prices are the same as genuine hand crafted Thai cuisine. Between Cat City and Palm Springs you will find way better Thai. Most of the food elements here tasted like it came out of a can.

This was the worst Thai food I have ever eaten and some of the worst restaurant food of any type. My pork and eggplant was a glutinous mess with absolutely no authentic flavors. My wife's Pad Thai, the national dish of the country, was literally inedible. Our coconut soup was basically vinegar with a sprinkling of coconut. Even the side of white rice was bad: it looked and tasted like it had been made days ago. The service was also terrible - they brought out everything at the same time. It was also pretty expensive, but at least the portions (including the meat/shrimp) were generous. Anyone who rates this restaurant highly has either never had real Thai food or had a completely different chef. We will never go back.

Nice place to grab some quick Thai food. They have MeKrob, which is my favorite. Very large helping but the noodles were not very hot. Also had a. Curry dish which was very mild, not spicy. They do have authentic Thai beer. Great pricing.

Save your money and go to Thai Peppers in Palm Springs...that is authentic!

Casual restaurant with very good Thai food; extensive menu!

We were really looking forward to an authentic Thai meal but were really disappointed. The authenticity and food quality controls were missing. We ordered the Kanon Jip and when it arrived it was cold inside. The server was apologetic and they cooked another batch which was hot thankfully this time round. My wife ordered the spicy noodles with chicken and discovered after a couple of mouthfuls the chicken was raw underneath and the noodles were luke-warm at best. We showed the server who gasped and was again very apologetic but did not seem that surprised. I think if you are looking for good authentic Thai food this is not the place. The ingredients are not typical of most places and there are key spices missing - definitely a problem in the kitchen.

Good,solid Thai food. The people were friendly and accommodating, although it was a bit chilly sitting in the front. Our favorite was the green curry and lemon grass eggplant. We also got the pad see u and veggies with beef. The prices were also relatively affordable. Recommended!

I just had an amazing meal at Desert Thai. I had the Green Curry with Chicken which was a generous portion and had plenty of fresh delicious veggies. Then, I had the Mango and Sticky rice for dessert. I think this is what heaven must taste like! Anthony the server was great! 😀

Kung Pao chicken ( lunch specials) wow 👌 and the jasmine tea- fresh and it hit the spot! I will definitely return!

I am a huge Thai food fan and saw the great online reviews and thought I would give this place a try. That was a big mistake and a waste of money. The food tasted terrible and it was not at all authentic. An authentic Pad Thai should be a light reddish-brown color, not bright neon orange color as what was served to me. Very disappointing!

Food was tasty but on the sweet side. Clean place but tends to be loud with the high ceilings. The white walls could use a bit of muting color. Staff were all so nice. With reservations, they were able to accommodate 10 of us. Only beer and wine for alcoholic beverages.

Good curry

If I could give them an 11-star rating I would. The Red Curry and Garlic beef were both over the top, packed with flavour, and the meat and veggies were perfectly cooked. Hands down one of, if not the best Thai restaurants I've ever eaten at.
