Nice place. It was empty when we arrived still had to wait to have a table cleaned. Most of the food was satisfactory but the tomatoes in the Tom Yum soup were rotten. Actually moldy. I mentioned it to who I assume was the owner, he simply nodded. No offer to replace the soup, to offer to not charge for the soup, just a frown and a nod. No service to speak of. Mostly only saw the gentleman when he came from the back to deliver a take-out order. I got his attention and asked for a water refill and some chill oil. We'll, at least we got the water. Never did get the chill oil. It was a bad experience.

I have eaten at many Thai restaurants over the years but this experience was one I will never forget. The service was perfect the table setting, romantic and soothing to the soul.
Along with my water I started with crispy vegetable rolls. They were excellent!
I then chose TomYum soup with tofu. Are you kidding me?! It was perfect!
With that I had the chicken larb. 😲 It was all so good! The flavors of Thailand really spring forth and make this an amazing dining experience.

Lime, camphor, mint, chili's, basil, perfectly cooked tofu in the TomYum, the tomatoes, firm and toothsome, Mushrooms abound.

The larb... again the flavor popped with mint, cilantro, chili's and lime.

I will definitely be back to try other dishes I could not try then because I was solo.

Great food! The mango sticky rice is so good!! I enjoy this place every time I come her, so consistent in service, quality of food, and if you like heat, they can accommodate!

This place is great! I’ve been to several different Thai restaurants and Thai Rice is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. The food was delicious and flavorful and fresh. We ordered the drunken rice and pad thai noodles and they were delicious. We are definitely coming back and trying some of their other dishes.

This place is great! I’ve been to several different Thai restaurants and Thai Rice is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. The food was delicious and flavorful and fresh. Chicken Satay was perfect, juicy chicken, excellent sauce and delicious salad.
Crab Rangoon was pan fried and the best l have ever had.
Wife had shrimp pad thai. She said the shrimp was over cooked and it didn't taste like pad thai.
Beef and basil was good. Beef was ground which l read on menu. Horrible way to prepare it. But the sauce and vegetables were perfect.
You close later than Thai House and they sold out by 7pm so there you go.

This restaurant has changed owners several times over the years. Current owner since 11/23. My family had dinner there yesterday- first time with new management. Food was excellent. Fresh and delicious. We loved the Tom yum soup, drunken noodles, Thai fried rice, green curry and basil chicken. The ambience was warm and peaceful with soft jazz in the background. Will be back soon!

It hurts me to have to write this because we have enjoyed this restaurant for years.
It feels like this place changed management, chefs, or something. The food isn't quite as good as it used to be.
We eat a LOT of Thai food and a favorite of mine is the Pineapple red curry and a side of noodles (because I really don't care for steamed rice).
The noodles were no longer an option and the curry was just not as good as it used to be.
I'm not sure what happened but they need to go back to the old recipe.
My girlfriend loves the Pad Thai but again, it didn't taste like it once did.
This was a place we frequented often and have since stopped going to. For the prices, we just expect better tasting food.

The pad thai with chicken was disgusting. Noodles undercooked and stuck together, chicken was tough and very stingy on serving. The veg curry was watered down and potatoes undercooked, chicken satay was overcooked and tough. I paid over $50 for the most disappointing meal I can remember eating.

Outstanding Thai Restaurant!!

Wow. If you like Thai food, this place is a diamond in the rough. So far, Never crowded and every entree was delicious. Also large portions!

Hadn't visited this restaurant in over 10 years. They new owners were fantastic. We had the tom yum coconut mushroom soup, yellow curry with extra veggies and ginger veggies. The three us really enjoyed the service and rich Thai flavors. Would definitely go back again.

They have new owners as of 11/12/23. We showed up at their soft opening. They're working out the kinks. The woman waiting on us said there'd be 3 people working there. The food was really good. The whole experience made me love the place much more than I used to. Its great to have a quality restaurant in Cameron Park!

First timers. Delicious! Started with Fresh Spring rolls yum. 4 adults so we ordered 4 different dishes. Pad Si Iw, Red, Green and Yellow Curry dishes plus a soup.
Every dish was loaded with veggies perfectly cooked. Be sure to tell them how spicy you want it.
So much food, we had to get containers to go.
This is a HIDDEN gem. Look for it!

This is my second home the amount i eat here. Warning to those on diets: OBESITY ALERT! Only downside is it's a little expensive. Really great food though.

This Thai food was so good. We had planned to eat somewhere else but decided to eat here. So glad to we did. I had the Pineapple Curry with sticky rice and a Thai Tea. The waitress was super nice and very attentive. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in this area again.

Sorry, I was not impressed. The pad thai was very oily and not edible. The shrimps were mushy and overcooked.

I've been to countless Thai restaurants and this one has the distinct privilege of being the worst.

Check out the runny Pad Thai in the picture. The flavor was sub-par as well. A Thai restaurant should be able to knock Pad Thai out of the park. The pineapple fried rice was bland. The pineapples had no flavor whatsoever. Even salt couldn't help it and I sent it back. What kind of a-hole would serve something like this? Chef Ramsey would cuss these people up une six and down the other.

Even though the place was almost empty, the service was quite slow.

Overall a miserable experience. I question the taste and intelligence of anyone giving this place four or five stars.

Food was not good at all. We ordered 3 entrees and 3 appetizers and only 2 of the dishes were edible. The food was dry and looked so unappetizing. Also I told them I cannot have any spicy hot food because of stomach issues and ordered accordingly and the prawns were so hot I couldnt eat them. The food was pricey and we really feel ripped off. We defenetly would never go there again.

This is my favorite restaurant. We got there at least twice a month. Their Yellow curry is wonderful.

Horrible!! 3 orders of pad see ew. Totally dry, no sauce, noodles over done and sticking together all clumpy and breaking apart, super salty. They claim under new ownership. Will never ever eat there again! When sooo limited on options right now and spent $60 when a cup of soup would have been a lot more edible just beyond disappointed!

I work nearby and eat here for lunch almost every week. The food is always good and they are very friendly when I pick up my order. Definitely try this place out!

Great menu with all the Thai classics and a very extensive vegetarian menu. I had the pumpkin tofu curry and it was perfect. Not too pumpkiny and just a touch of heat. Brought some pad thai home and it was great too.

The restaurant has a strong smell of bleach. Windows need cleaning. Food is okish! Hope curries can be a little improved. The waitress is very pushy, she comes to your table like gazallion times.

New owners have done a great job. Pad kee mao is the best. Pineapple curry was excellent. Great Thai Tea, not too sweet like some places. I have eaten here three times in the last few weeks, never disappointed.
