For vegans, and our certified Kosher menu offers a wide selection of exceptionally fine cuisine. Only the freshest vegetables, fruits, soy, meats, grains, and all other ingredients make their way into our delicious meals and appetizers. Bodhi Vegan Thai Kitchen is conveniently located at 9198 W Olympic Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212. We are a casual restaurant that is great for couples or larger groups to dine, and kids are also welcome.
My wife has been telling me about Bodhi Kosher Thai for years -- that they are the most authentic Thai food in the kosher world. On a recent trip to LA, I finally got to experience what she was talking about and was not let down.
They were not especially busy when we arrived, around 1PM on a Thursday. Owner was courteous and gave us an appropriate amount of time to peruse the menu. After some deliberation (my wife knew what she wanted, but I took longer), we ordered the Fresh Roll, Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Curry Noodle, Damage Beef and Thai Iced Tea. The Fresh roll rice paper was delightful and the Pad Thai was serviceable. The Curry was authentic and the Thai Iced Tea had an unusual flavor due to the spices that I recommend for the culinary experience.
However, the two big stars were definitely the Tom Yum soup, for its amazingly explosive and hearty flavor, and, unexpectedly, the Damage Beef. I ordered this for the name alone, not expecting anything special, but we were taken completely by surprise. The Damage Beef was extremely addictive and couldn't stop eating it over all the other dishes. The entire trip may have been worth it just to discover how delicious the Thai interpretation of Beef Jerky could be.
LA is not hurting for kosher options, but we definitely look forward to our next visit, at least to get a few more orders of Damage Beef.
This restaurant offers vegetarian Thai food. There is no meat or chicken in this place. We got chicken nuggets and beef damage for appetizers and Teryakki and steak foe enteere and they were all delicious and yummy. Will definitely try it again. Also the coconut juice was really good.
The food quality at this restaurant was disappointing, especially considering the prices—they simply do not match up. Our main courses were both overly salty and overcooked, making for an unpleasant dining experience. We decided to skip dessert after the poor quality of the meal, but to our surprise, we found that we were still charged for it. Service was equally below average. Our server seemed uninterested in attending to our table, ignoring our attempts to get her attention and spending most of her time on her phone. Overall, it was an unsatisfactory experience that left much to be desired.
hi,
my recent visit to Bodhi Kosher Thai left much to be desired, casting a shadow on what I had hoped would be a delightful dining experience.
starting with the pineapple curry, I found it underwhelming, akin to a concoction of boiled water infused with coconut cream, accented with unripe pineapple chunks, green peppers, and a smattering of leaves - a medley devoid of any discernible flavor. the tofu, an integral component, seemed as if it was merely lifted from its container and introduced to the curry without the courtesy of seasoning, contributing nothing to the dish's flavor profile.
the crispy spring rolls, too, fell short of expectations. their resemblance to frozen offerings from Trader Joe's, hastily deep-fried in seemingly aged oil, was uncanny. the exterior was excessively crispy, betraying the mushy interior where the distinction between vegetables, whether naturally crunchy or soft, was lost in a uniform mushiness, detracting significantly from the eating experience.
the veggie dumplings were passable but lacked any standout qualities that might incite a craving or a return visit.
culinary expertise appeared absent in the dishes I sampled. creating such fare in one's kitchen, armed merely with a list of ingredients and basic culinary skills, would not be a stretch. dining out represents a desire for more than just sustenance; it's a pursuit of culinary delight, an experience that justifies spending beyond the cost of ingredients. unfortunately, the fare at Bodhi Kosher Thai failed to meet these expectations, leaving one to question the justification for such a markup without delivering on taste.
in sum, while the premise of Bodhi Kosher Thai holds promise, my experience was one of disappointment. for a venture into the realm of kosher Thai cuisine, the establishment would benefit from a reassessment of its culinary approach to truly honor its price point and its patrons' palates.
I had been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time as I live in walking distance and am a vegan. I had enjoyed my meals here very much.
But, in the past couple of months or perhaps longer, the quality of the food has declined significantly. Dishes I have enjoyed often are now mediocre at best. How can an order be prepared and served in two minutes? My suspicion is that there is a good deal of precooking. The food certainly tastes that way. Precooked and double fried. No, not for these prices.
I have received incorrect orders with no apology or offer to make the correction without my insistence. A $13 slice of chocolate cake was so overheated as to be almost rock hard after a minute or two after serving.
There is only one server who is trustworthy, kind, and seems to genuinely care that you enjoy your meal, but she is not in every day.
The owner, who also serves tables, seems to have taken a dislike to me after I was compelled to point out the flaws in my food. She previously had been very friendly.
I will not be spending my money or my time here going forward.
Very sad; it was so enjoyable.
One of our two favorite places in LA...the food is consistently good, the staff is always friendly and warm. They clearly care about their restaurant and their customers.
One of my favorite kosher, Thai, vegan foods. I like to purchase a lot extra to take home for a few days.
Yummy 😋

Bad food
They are stingy with everything. Charge for every little thing they can and have horrible service. Not nice at all.
The yummiest kosher Thai.
Delicious flavors
Los Angeles is a diverse area, closing on Friday evenings cuts out hundreds of individuals that would enjoy your atmosphere and food.
Delicious. Fast. Friendly. Everything is awesome!
Lunch pad Thai ($16) was yummy, came with salad and dumpling. Salad dressing was too gingery for me but the little dumpling was delicious. Wish there were 2.
Thai iced tea was fine. A bit pricey for 4.50.

There were flies in the Thai milk tea, the owner took it back and exchanged it for a new cup without feeling sorry. He even asked us what else we wanted. The attitude was extremely rude, and the food tasted too strong and was not tasty.
We always enjoy Bodhai. Their lunch special is very affordable, too.
Great variety of tasty dishes

the food was delicious
I loved the soup
will be back!!
Mediocre Thai lacking the plethora of flavors you’d expect. Fake meat was meh but crispy rolls were alright
Excellent service quite ,clean and they make you feel comfortable. Except for the cooks in back with there humor.
This place is the bomb. My wife's favorite in LA!
Panang curry was delicious. I want to come back and try all of the other dishes.
Overrated price and ratings.
Food is pretty good.
Positive experience.
I own a Pilates studio nearby on Robertson (Pilates Body Beverly Hills) and I like to come here after work with my clients or friends, and get dinner. I am not vegan, but I love the food here! Highly recommend!!
I ordered cashew nut chicken from here. I got home and the food had no flavor, no sauce in it, tasted like chalk. So, I called and asked them to give me some curry sos and I will pay for it. She said “no”. You sold me bad food for $20 that I ended up throwing away and wouldn’t even accommodate me when I said I would pay for the sauce. Never coming back here. I said that last time when I saw a roach on the bathroom, but now it’s really finalized.
Very refreshing and enjoyable to try a different style restaurant with healthy light and filling options, vegetarian, parve
Staff were friendly and accommodating
Will definitely recommend be coming back here
All great! Sate chicken was the highlight!
Nayos ate here and ruined the food. However, this place has the best vegan sandwiches.
Good
In general the Food is fine (okay). Specifically the soup was delish but the Paradise Beef is 1 star at best. Zero flavor. They must have forgotten the sauce or something. I can’t imagine how it is one of their specialties.
great place
A wonderful restaurant. Amazing food, great atmosphere, terrific service. A kosher vegan restaurant with creative Thai cuisine. Definitely on the list for a return visit.
Family and I enjoyed the food but what we didn’t like was we were ask to leave a tip, I didnt know in the state of California you have to tip at a restaurant if you don’t want to.. maybe people should look more into the what you can and can’t do in the state of California.
I was very disappointed with the food here. I heard good things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, I won't be recommending this place to anyone. The food was 2/10. Refrain from tasting fresh and flavorful like it's supposed to. I've been to many (non-kosher) Thai cuisines, and there are better options if you eat at non-kosher restaurants.
The service was okay, and the ambiance was nice, but the restaurant seemed cleaner.
Easy free parking.
Incredible food. Highly recommend. Will come again!
Crazy good food! Lots of options! Very friendly staff =)
AMAZING food. So clean and fresh. Tastes just as good, if not better, than the non-vegetarian food. The appetizers are where they really shine.
Update: They fixed that issue I listed below already I really respect that they pay attention to what customers are saying and I love the place, they have great tasting food. They are very consistent plus It’s ready pretty fast which is important to me because I usually realize I’m hungry when I’m already hangry & need my food now lol so I appreciate Y’all!!
Initial Review:
They make great food and it's ready fast! Prices are ok, it's just annoying that they make u have a $25 minimum for in store pickup. I understand for delivery but for in store pick up ordered online it takes no extra time for your people there to package the food. I don't know why they need that minimum especially when they already charge you a packaging service fee.
Yummy vegan and gluten free pad Thai here. nice place to dine in and yummy food to take out, especially for plant-based diets. Not overpriced (for LA) either
This was good as was the service.
The staff is accommodating beyond belief
Maybe it was me, but it didn't hit the spot
The rest of my party loved it,
This restaurant offers vegetarian Thai food. There is no meat or chicken in this place. We got chicken nuggets and beef damage for appetizers and Teryakki and steak foe enteere and they were all delicious and yummy. Will definitely try it again. Also the coconut juice was really good.
We ordered Panang curry and spicy noodles both tested delicious! A great Thai restaurant for vegans. I could have given 5 stars if our servant was more patient with us. We wanted to know the difference between vegan beef and chicken and she got so irritated and we ended up ordering regular Thai items.
Best Thai food and great service. Loved the Pad Thai and vegetarian dumplings
Visiting here from New York, and found this treasure!! Unbelievable! My husband and I kept looking around at the clientele; we couldn’t believe anything kosher could be this good!! We ordered Dumplings, Curry, Kung Pao and Thai Tea. Trust me, this will be our first stop whenever we fly in to LA! Great service, very clean and friendly. Thank you Bodhi, can’t wait to come back!
This restaurant use to be my favorite in LA but the quality has seemed to decrease over the past years. The food also feels overly sweet in comparison to other Thai restaurants. Also the food is pricey for the amount. Ive been to better vegan Thai spots in the neighborhood but it’s a great option if you’re looking for something kosher.
I like the food but I don’t like being asked to leave a tip for pickup orders. TIPPING IS FOR WAITERS WHEN I EAT AT THE RESTAURANT.
Some of the best Thai food I've had in LA, very fresh tasting. Great Thai tea too!
Great little find! Lots of delicious menu options and vegan choices. We had the crispy roll, the pho noodle soup and the vegan cheesecake and all were delicious and enough to share. We had the house Cabernet and it was really pleasant. Excellent service, super clean and a nice atmosphere.

Great thai food. Vegetarian and kosher
Basic Thai food. Service was good, great concept but tasted far from Kosher or Authentic Thai. Tastes comparable to a Thai restaurant in Nebraska I ate at once. #Basic
The food at this place is absolutely delicious. Great service, friendly staff, clean bathrooms ! Thanks you
Consistent, healthful, and delicious. Service is always on point. Highly recommended.
The food is amazing. Take my word for it. I work in a restaurant. I don't eat junk. This food. Yum.
Can you just package and sell your sauces?
Pumpkin curry was tasteless and no flavor of pumpkin. Dumplings the same. Waste of money.
Great food; nice, clean atmosphere. The green mango salad was fresh and tasty. The tom yum vegetable soup was yummy and slightly spicy. The basil leaf entree had very little basil but was good. Overall, very tasty and an opportunity to have flavors not usually available at run-of-the-mill kosher restaurants.
great taste
Great food. The most realistic non meat substitutes I've ever tasted. Good sized portions and flavours and styles to fit every palate
Everything was delicious. Anyone that has a hesitation about it being 100 percent Vegan should not be dissuaded. The flavor of all of the food and drinks are top Notch. Don’t miss out on this restaurant please support.
One of my favorite kosher spots in LA. Even if you're not vegan, you'll definitely find something here. Only qualm is that a lot of the dishes have a bit too much sugar, but I've found that they'll tone it down if you ask them to.
Just GOOD!!!
Super yum! Love it!
The food and customer service was amazing you gotta eat here
Amazing food. Quick delivery.
Tasty food, somewhat oily but tasty. Small portions but they compensate with a lot of rice. Three to four of us met once a week for several years at their previous location and always enjoyed it, but then they moved to a larger space. They cannot keep up, they don't have enough help, they forget orders and then - what used to be the nicest waitresses became very nasty when you reminded them that you ordered sometime ago. Three of us went regularly, but we had three terrible experiences in a row and were so surprised. It was so unpleasant, we now go to Beverly HIlls Thai for our weekly Thai fix. Pity. Had enjoyed it for years but they are too stressed now.
Update: I’ve been back a few times and they finally got it together. So they went from two stars to five stars in my review.
Delicious.
Flavorful and fresh! We had an amazing meal and great experience. Our server helped us navigate the app and stayed with us to input our order on my cell phone. I had Dumplings, Fresh Rolls, Mango Salad and Pho Noodle Soup which were all very good. My husband had the
Tom Yum Vegetable Soup and Peoper Garlic with crisp tofu. Try the iced tea, it's delicious!
Very tasty! Even the fake beef option is delicious!
Yummy vegetarian Thai food. I don’t recommend the Pad Thai, but everything else is delicious. The Satay, damage beef, and stir-fries are really good.
The food is very tasty and the fact that it's plant based is a big plus.
Had been here on the the 4th of July and absolutely loved the food! Would definitely recommend going here! Next time I’m in LA I’ll definitely make a trip here again!
One of my favorite eat out at restaurants when I’m visiting very delicious I order the curry tofu
Delicious pareve restaurant. Great prices and large portions.
They have a never ending menu (with food pictures, big plus) and they all taste delicious and different. The fake meat and chicken they use taste great with texture and appearance of real meat.
Worse order system experience ever. Fix your app/website for orders. Came super hungry, after spending some time to figure out what to order, you need go though the process of scanning QR code and placing the order, there was no btns to actually place/pay/order. We asked for a help, and they removed my order so I should start over. What is this all about? So we left.
Worse UX on a website and order system ever.
Btw, what is an option for those who has no phone/forgot at home/low battery/no data/old phones/or just doesn’t want to order though phone? Do you manually processed the orders? If so, then why no one helped? In this case it’s bad customer service as well. If no, bad accessibility.
Yummy food. Kosher. Easy. Do it. You’re welcome.
I'm not vegan or kosher but this place was delicious and a great spot for lunch with my kosher coworkers. The portions were very generous and flavorful. Particularly enjoyed the pot stickers.
Just tried the red curry and it was EXCELLENT. One of the best I've had! I would recommend getting tofu in it instead of chicken (it was mushy and I ended up eating around it).
Great food, we love the appetizers, good choice.
Great vegetarian food. Friendly service. Reasonable prices.
delicious
Delicious! The king pao with the soy beef was amazing! Cheers!
Love this local place. So glad they are still open for take out and delivery, during these times. The Tomka soup is the best I’ve ever had, and another favorite is the yellow curry. Got to try the orange chicken this time, and it was delicious too! Highly recommended for VEGANS. It’s the best Thai you will ever have.
Always great quality and service! The Coconut Curry has become a weekly ritual!
Solid vegan joint
Very good food, great service by staff.
Bit pricey. Kosher food vegan. Delicious food.
Fantastic Kosher Thai food. The Danger Beef is amazing
New favorite spot for vegan thai and vietnamese. The pho is superb and noodles are a must. Check it out
Very good
Love love love love this restaurant. Very tasty food, clean. Healthy. Light. Everything in looking for in a restaurant and in good I find at Bodhi Thai. My favorite.
Our party of three discovered this place yesterday when we were looking for a dine-in option. We love Thai cuisine and have been trying to find that quintessential place that has vegetarian options and also tastes great! This is by far the best Thai restaurant we have been to in L.A., and we have tried many! The service was outstanding, the ambience was clean and light, and the food was super fresh, delicious and the food we ordered came out super quickly. Our two wait staff were funny and delightful. We have officially found our go-to Thai place in L.A., and even better, it is kosher AND vegetarian! The portions are very generous and they are open to substitutions (ie, I don't like baby corn and so they substituted that with my vegetable of choice). Here is a list of what we ordered and loved:
- The dumplings: outstanding, with a delightful ginger type sauce
- sweet potato fries: fresh, crispy and delicious. Enough said.
- Spring rolls: best I have had in the city. Fresh, crispy, with two incredible sauces to dip them in
- Spicy Green beans with soy chicken: delicious
- "Beef" Salad: lovely, and the fake beef was surprisingly delicious, and I am not even someone who eats or likes the taste of meat.
- Green Curry: perfect.
- Special Red Curry (on first page of menu): this is served in a coconut! Very delicious and flavorful, with chunks of young coconut meat and veggies and protein of choice
- Pad Thai with tofu: fresh and wonderful, and not oily!
- Green Papaya Salad: for me, this was a bit bland, and probably a dish I would not re-order. This is a hard dish to veganize, I think. But still very fresh.
Dessert:
- "Cheese"cake: best vegan cheesecake I have possibly ever had
- Mango Sticky Rice: my favorite Thai dessert. This was outstanding.
Really, I could go on and on. We will be going back! Highly recommended! (Sorry, I was too excited to eat to post photos. Next time!)
Love the Tom Ka soup
The staff is friendly, punctual and very caring. They make sure all your needs are met while dining there. I love, love and love this restaurant
Absolutely love this place. We’ve ordered from here a dozen times and it never disappoints! Love that it’s vegan! Their pumpkin curry is great, as is their orange chicken. We also love getting their dumplings and the Tom Ka soup.
Food is always great. Assume that you may get your order 2 hours or more after the estimated ready time; order very early,
Very bad.
Fantastic food!
Awesome food customer service
Riquisimo
Fast service and great food.
Great vegan. The hamburger felt like the real eventhough it's vegan.
The soups were delicious. Definitely coming back soon 😁😊
The hechsher is not good I found 2 big bugs in my food one in the pasta and the other in my soup
The food and service were very good.
Great service. The food is good.
Good food and lots of options. Service could use some improvement though.
this place is always closed, hours are not updated on google, google says they are open, you go there and they are closed, food is amazing.
Delicious!
For the last few years, this restaurant was among my family's favorites but on my "meh" list. Turns out I always got mine as their leftovers they took home. Today I sat down and had everything fresh. Wow. I'm an unabashed carnivore and this food is really really good. Waitress was great and kept my iced water full once I asked for a refill (I can drink a half gallon easily at a meal).
