The atmosphere is very comfortable, the service made us feel like we were at home and the food was fresh and delicious. If you are in Bakersfield and craving Thai food I would recommend making a visit here!

I order the special lunch Ginger Chicken oh boy it was so Good. I came back the next day and order the same. Its so yummy I love the ginger pieces. Service was fine. Restaurant is small, owner and staff are nice. The tofu curry is also delicious. Ill come back again.

Ordered a handful of times now and while the main flavor is pretty authentic and actually good the overall dish isn't complete as a whole for example the quality of the beef in terms the way it's cooked or it itself isn't all that great, chicken and tofu are the way to go. The egg rolls feel like a mini burrito with how thick the outer flour is, the yellow curry has a great base flavor but no carrots slightly on the watery side and the small sized white rice with a decent sized curry isn't optimal, should come with a medium white rice at the very least. The duck curry I also ordered was good yet the downfall is it was over saturated with pineapple and maybe sugar in the curry it was a little too sweet for my liking, the pad sew ew overall was pretty spot on besides the protein although a smaller serving for that one in perticular for some reason. The glass noodles also above average the only downfall with the noodles dishes was the amount of oil they had in them. Restaurant has potential as again the base flavors are rather good sadly not all that well executed and brought together as a whole, with each dish having a certain short coming.

Grabbed some lunch here, portions weren't gut busting but the Prik King was flavored very well. Would stop by again.

We have been to many Thai restaurants but this one way surpassed most of them. Everything was excellent, Pad Thai, green curry, Pork belly and even their Thai iced tea. Old family style Thai restaurant. Definitely must go and enjoy tasty authentic Thai food.

Visited this on our way to Yosemite National park. I understand it is the first Thai restaurant in town est about 21 yrs ago.
A family restaurant with three generations serving you with some fantastic food.

Grandma wants to clean tables, mom is happy taking orders and Dad is the magic behind the goodness you consume,Son is doing a bit of everything except cooking.

Coming to tg food- the taste was the most authentic Thai I ever had and we were left craving for more. Very affectionate grandma with a warm smile is ever present to check on you if we were satiated.

Thanks for the amazing service and taste that we will remember for a long while.

Really it is some of the best Thai food that I have ever eaten. Always delicious and hot. The prices are very reasonable and even a Coke which comes in a can with a glass of ice is $2

We had the Panang, Pad See Ew, and the Spicy Noodles. Everything was delicious. Pickup service was quick and easy. Restaurant was nice and clean. We will be back to try more things from the large menu!

My husband is working here for a couple of months and dines in at least twice a week. He absolutely loves this place and couldn’t wait to take me here when I visited. It certainly did not disappoint. It’s a nice family owned restaurant, decent price, excellent service. Looks like there’s a ton of regulars. Highly recommend 😊

A new experience for me. My brother wants to eat some larb so we check it out. The service was excellent but the food was new to me. I really couldn't feast. I spent my time exploring all the new flavors herbs and spices. If you like spicy food that's hot hot hot hot 🔥 this place is for you.

Thanks to them and their restaurant I've been enjoying Thai food for a while now!

My favorites are the shrimp pad thai, cashew nuts with chicken, and noodles soup. You can't go wrong with any of these options and I always like to add some spice to it!

If you're new to Thai food don't be afraid to let them know and ask for some options that you'll be comfortable with trying. I definitely recommend pad thai!

got take out from here last night and it was great, the host was very friendly and helped to recommend some dishes to me since I've never had Thai before and his recommendation was perfect. We came in right before they were closing but they were still very friendly and welcoming.

This was my first time to this location. This location is on the smaller side and has limited seating. I would say the best thing to do is a pickup order. The gentleman who greeted me was pretty nice. I ordered the shrimp pad thai and it was not bad but also not the best. The noodles were nicely cooked but not very flavourful. The shrimp was not over cooked but bland for my taste. I think this dish would be nice for someone who is looking to try pad thai for the first time and doesn't want to be overwhelmed or is possibly a picky eater.

Been all over the US and tried Thai in norcal, socal, Hawaii, Oregon and New York. This one compares with the best of them. Dragon fire dish made me taste flavors I didn't know existed and I love to cook.

I stumbled upon this little restaurant yesterday. I figured I would try it out. The server gentleman was helpful and professional. I ordered egg rolls and spicy fried rice with pork. Everything was authentic and the flavour was on point. If and when in the area I definitely stop by again.

I wish this place existed in Colorado. Best Thai I’ve ever eaten. Great service, too.

Delicious, tasty, and authentic everytime..I've tried every Thai restaurant in Bakersfield and this is my #1 choice..Mango is in season so get the sticky rice with mango just like my mom used to make..

I have eaten here a few dozen times and the food is always very good. We have enjoyed most things we have gotten, but our favorites are the pad thai (favorite in town by far), suki yuki, and various curries. I absolutely love that they have brown rice as a healthy option and it is as good as brown rice can get. I usually receive food for takeout in under 10 minutes. Very reasonable prices. One of the few places that I go to that have not raised their prices recently.

Staff and customer service was great. The food was delicious and amazingly good.

Let me tell you. Food was awesome. The picture shows the potsticker and golden wings, a must try. Didn't get a chance to post the cashew chicken or the garlic chicken, but both really good. Service was great, will definitely come back next time I'm here.

Dropped in on a Saturday a little before noon. Not a lot of people. We were seated immediately. I ordered my usual Panang beef curry. My friend had the Teriyaki Chicken. The curry was okay but a little on the spicy side, but not overly so. My friend said the Chicken was good, but also not overly so. Prices were reasonable and the service was attentive.

3 1/2 UNDERSTAND that EVERYTHING 👀LOOKED so Amazing but after that The soup was just yucky and the egg rolls were dark brown like burnt am coulda broke a tooth. The Fried Rice w/shrimp.chicken.beef.pork tasted 👍 ok but the Orange Chicken had good flavor but wasn't battered an fried but just really crispy pieces of chicken w/a nice sauce. I guess but for 4 items we only spent $55bucks so.... Ok

I decided to try this place after being told it was the best Thai food in town. I have to agree that it was the best chicken curry I have ever had. My partner had Pad Thai and it was sweet with a lil punch at the end, definitely left you wanting more.

We are vegetarian and eat gluten-free. We ordered the Vegetarian fried rice (104), glass noodles with tofu (100), and Pad Thai with vegetables (81), and two orders of mango and sticky rice as dessert. Everything was extremely tasty and delicious! The sticky rice was the best we have ever had, highly recommend it!
One of the waiters was super friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic dinner! Highly recommend this restaurant also to families with children.

Lovely food. Refreshingly fresh. I had Salmon Green Curry and a minty shrimp, chicken salad with a specific name. It also had silver noodles in it. Everything was so amazing. The freshness of the fish and produce is unmatched.

This place has good lunch special and good food. I got the Chicken Curry lunch special and it was AMAZING! Just the right amount for lunch. They currently only serve wine and beer. Which it’s still a plus. We also ordered the coconut ice cream with fried banana and it was pretty good too. The food came quick and it was packed for lunch. No wait at noon on a Thursday but still not an empty seat. Highly recommend it.

Great Thai food

Owners are really Thais so that makes a huge difference. They were even able to adapt the taste and requirement as we don’t eat spicy dishes. The crispy pork was really delicious especially when we asked them to make it with the basil which is not in the menu. Singha beer was served extra cold with a cold mug. The crew were al friendly as well.

Wasn't to pleased with the lunch menu, or the entree. Simple, not enough. Loved the decor and it's an intimate place but again for the price I was expecting a large portion.

I always love their curries and you can ask them to make them as hot or mild as you like. Their staff is always friendly and helpful and attentive. I really like this place.

My first time here, on a friend's referral...it was 7 out of 10 for me. First, the area is fairly nice and the decoŕ is beautifully unique. The staff are very kind as well. The food would have gotten a 10 out 10 for me, had the meat not been as tough as it was. My family members that accompanied me were also in agreement that the meat was on the tough side but the flavor was a 9 out 10. The flavor of the dishes were on point. My main dish was the Green Curry with Chicken and it was pretty good with the exception of the tough chicken meat. As far as me coming back here, I'm not sure it would be my first choice, maybe my third 🤔😕

I had the ka pow gai & kai dao (stir-fried spicy ground chicken and thai fried egg) (most other sources online call it "pad kra pow gai") and it was amazing. Comfort food that hit the spot. I will definitely try to make it at home myself, but if it's too difficult, this is definitely my go-to order in the future!

It's clean, pleasantly decorated and has a good menu. The small sized lunch special for $7.50 was tasty. A couple at the next table ordered pineapple fried rice AFTER receiving their lunch special. Overall, it's expensive for the portion size.

We were waited on almost immediately, even though there were other people in the restaurant also. The food was extra delicious, cooked to our orders, and even though my friends and I have been there many times before, we had a wonderful time and an excellent dinner. Lots of vegan and vegetarian choices also, which is what we ordered because that is what we are!

Lunch is was very delicious but potions are small.

Pad thai was delicious, the pork jerky was perfect and the fried banana and coconut ice cream was delicious too.

This is my main Thai food place in town, i haven't tried them all but i sure do enjoy this place the most out of every other one I've eaten. & don't be scared the small sitting area is perfect it might not appear as high end as others around town, but it surely surpasses the quality of food found elswhere, its nice seeing the same family serving here each day, trusted quality meals

I didn't know they made takeout containers this small.. It is like they made a meal for a toddler and then charged me $11 for it... Take it from someone who has eaten Thai in 20+ states, this is the biggest ripoff I have seen to date. How is this place still open? I guess I will go eat my snack now and then go somewhere else for dinner. Tiny spoon in picture for scale. Oh and shame on the local guides who recommended this place. I feel like I just got scammed for dinner.
