Family-Owned Small Business. Thank you for your support.
We visited this restaurant on Christmas Eve of 2024. We were glad they were open.
The outside facade looks sketchy, but in the inside it looks nice and clean, with some oriental decoration. They must work on the outside facade.
Food was delicious and having the option of Chinese/Thai menu was an advantage. We ordered Tom Kah Gai, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, cashew chicken. We ordered several dishes from the Chinese menu. Everything was delicious.
Good food size portions. I attached a picture of our meal.
Kids menu: Many places now days don’t have a kids meal. They do have kids menu, and is only A or B, which makes it easy 😅.
Customer Service was appropriate (friendly and attentive service, welcoming atmosphere, prompt order taking).
We were glad they were open. Overall we had a nice experience. Perfect for large groups or families.
This experience was terrible! I asked the lady at the front counter for the egg rolls that came with the lunch menu. She proceeded to point to the menu and ask if I’d like the fried egg rolls. I said if that is what came in the lunch portion then yes that is what I’d like. Ofcourse that’s not what she gives me! She then tells me that she can’t take the order back because it’s not her fault but I can order something else… really?? That’s just terrible customer service!! You charged me and didn’t even bother to make it right??!! I won’t be back and sadly they lost out on holiday corporate orders as well.
Sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls from Chinese side of the menu, and yellow curry with tofu from Thai side.
Hands down, some of best Asian food outside of Asia. Chicken was big chunks of breaded and perfectly cooked white meat. Curry was flavorful and full of fresh veggies. Even the egg rolls seemed fresh. Yum, will be back!
Worst thai food ever! The pad thai with chicken didn’t have the usual sauce and was instead drowning in a sweet pink sauce that I believe was the same sauce intended for dipping egg rolls. No bean sprouts could be found. The green curry with chicken was more bland than we would have thought possible. It had one tiny sad sprig of basil and zero eggplant and zero spices.
Usually leary going to place with different Asian cuisines.
This play reaffirmed that belief.
Had possibly worst Pad Thai ever.....imagine a Midwestern Elementary school cafeteria lady stepping outside her comfort zone to prepare something for the kids.
Asked for Thai Hot....absolutely no real spice level..
Food served in sectioned plate.
AVOID
I ordered about $50 worth of food. It consisted of Thai spring rolls, Thai beef salad, fried wontons, tom kai Gai soup and crab puffs. I was really disappointed in the flavor of the food. The fried wontons were cooked to perfection but the stuffing was mushy and gross. The texture was just so off and it had no flavor. The crab Puffs were the best part of the whole meal but that's not saying much considering they were kind of on the soggy side. The Thai beef salad had no flavor at all. The spring rolls were okay but the dipping sauces were really off. The one sauce it was like a Vietnamese sauce tasted like melted coconut oil. The soup was okay but I had to add more lime juice to it. It just was not very flavorful. So overall what I spent on the meal was definitely way too much money for what I got.
If you want authentic Thai food don’t come here.. I ordered the pad see eww and it was straight up just broccoli and cilantro and noodles no sauce what so ever and also the i ordered the Tom khai soup it was just tomato’s and red onions and mushrooms. That is not Tom khai it’s supposed to be coconut and lime flavor. $22.00 thrown away..
Sweetest staff, good food , best customer service!

I'm a curry fan and this friendly place does it well.

I had very low expectations, due to the reviews, but my God was I wrong.
The food was awesome, everything came out super hot (freshly made), the salsas were delicious, the service was fantastic (I know) and prices are fair.
Portions are hefty and delicious.
Please try it out for yourself, you might find your new favorite dish here
Authentic food in a laid back atmosphere
Love this restaurant! Food is always fresh and delicious 😋
I used to come here at least once a week, but that was about ten years ago. Things have changed.
Now they also serve Thai food. I tried the Chicken Pad Thai and it was too saucy.
I used to love the hot and sour soup. It was too salty. I didnt complain about it, but I only ate two spoonfuls. The server asked if everything was okay, and I said it was salty.
I think that comment changed the entire attitude of the server toward me.
I didn't finish the Pad Thai because I did get full after the $3.49 hot tea, fried wonton skins, two spoonfuls of soup, and about half of the saucy Pad Thai.
Maybe I should have gone with my usual KungPao chicken with white rice.
Food was great. Very cute inside and I love the music. Our waitress was adorable she had a great personality and was very attentive. Saved to my favorites!
Our server was quick and friendly. I ordered the yellow curry and it was very good: spicy without being too hot. We will be returning.
Here right now. I ordered the Panang Curry with Tofu and it is excellent. My hubby ordered the General Tao’s dinner- came with soup and an egg roll. The hot n sour soup was really tasty. Service was great and we got our food really fast. We both give this place 5 stars and hope to come back soon!
Best part of the lunch was the forture cookie
The food was excellent
..good sized servings, seasoned just right, with ample ingredients, and prepared fresh and served hot.)
I can assure you the lady running this place is a criminal - I ordered mushu pork get home it is rice with no pork and tasted disgusting never again 3.35 for a 16oz bottle of coke stay far away- not one person besides me, she is in back yelling at someone ----never again
The food is delicious. One of the best Chinese/Thai restaurants in Tucson. Great lunch today.
First time here, the food is very good and fresh. Prices are reasonable, didn’t take too long to get our food. We ordered; fried rice, beef & broccoli, Kong Pao shrimp, lo mein with chicken and steam rice. Their Thai tea is good too.
Their yellow chicken curry is great! Loved the steamed dumplings.
The food is under cooked, rice was sticky. The waitress never checked on me so I couldn’t tell her about the food. I didn’t eat the food, it was horrible. On top of that, the price was more than the other Chinese restaurants for the same thing.
Sorry I wasted the money for nothing.
I have been dining in here more often but originally in 2012 had been ordering takeout…
same cooks but different owner and I always have great Thai food meals and appetizers and it’s priced reasonably and the vegetables are always very fresh.
I like that I can get Thai that’s not overpriced and the service is quick and friendly 🙌
We love their food. So good. We love their Pad Thai, panang curry, spring rolls, Tom gai Kai soup. They also have great service.
This is not a fancy place, but the food is SO SO SO good. I usually order takeout. The family that owns it is super sweet. They always get the food quickly and it’s always fresh. I’ve tried several of their dishes.
My go tos are the Green Curry with Chicken and the Mongolian Chicken. My husband likes the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the General Tso Chicken and the Orange Chicken. You can usually get at least a couple meals out of one order because the portions are big
The fried dumplings are fire. I’ve tried several of the Thai curries. They are all great and you can’t really go wrong. I believe they also have a super reasonable lunch special.
Please, go to this business, get some yummy food so I can keep going here for years and years to come. So so so yummy.
Great food and great service.
Every dish was delicious and plentiful.
Good service friendly, good food, reasonable price👍👍
Excellent and friendly service!
Felt at home~
Best Chinese food in Tucson!
This place is great!
Food is excellent, selection is good and the employees are so so so super kind. It's far and away the best place for Chinese food we've found in the area.
Me and my girlfriend have been going here a few months now, food and service is great. Always hot and fast out the kitchen. Will continue to come back!
My wife and I have been dining here at the Chinese combo restaurant. The food is delicious and always consistent. The service is just as great as the food. It’s family run, which makes it a really unique place to go for lunch or dinner. When we have friends visiting out of state, we always take them there And they love the food just as we do. One of the owners who also wait on tables, her name is Lena, and is so pleasant and kind and making sure we have all we need for fine dining. Thank you China Combo we love you, Mario and Nancy.
We ordered delivery. I had the spring rolls which were fantastic! They were encased in a clear rice wrapper and were stuffed with plenty of cilantro and finely julienned, very crisp and cold vegetables. Totally refreshing and full of flavors. I will be craving another one on some future hot day. Plus for $6, there two huge rolls and some delicious sauces alongside.
My daughter complained that her yellow curry was a bit bland.
My husband loved the vegetable egg foo yung. Instead of the usual salty brown or yellow gravy, the dish came with a brothy sauce full of crisp tender vegetables.
Always a pleasure! Mom loved it too.
great food
We go here often when we go to the Lee-Lees Next door. Very good food (always fresh)..such a nice friendly staff.
Excellent food and generous servings. I will definitely be going back.
Nice and quiet, small Asian restaurant. Food was delicious! I recommend the Thai tea, though be advised that it is rather sweet! Lunch special portions are smaller, as expected, but appropriately priced.
Really good food staff is always nice and the prices are worth the serving size
Even with 2 ppl in the restaurant it takes FOREVER. Super slow. Unprofessional and unwelcoming.
Just lefr after standing for 15 minutes. Would not recommend. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE!!
Absolutely everything one might hope for from an unassuming Chinese takeout in a strip mall.
Good food with ❤️ in it.
Very very delicious authentic food ready very quickly add fresh the service was Fantastic
Love their food here. Only Chinese food we eat. Lol ve it. Support local businesses.
After a long day of driving, we were glad to find the Chinese Combo Thai Cuisine. Our family tried the chicken pad Thai and the Yang Chow Fried Rice. Both were great after a long day, and we plan to add this as a spot to stop by when we pass through Tucson in the future.
My husband and I just tried this place for the first time, and I'd say that overall we're happy with a new spot. The egg rolls with the lunch combo are really small which threw us for a loop, but our meals were tasty and mostly everything we tried we liked. We found the eggdrop soup was a bit bland, but the cashew chicken & fried rice were both great. This is the best fried rice of anywhere we have tried in Tucson.
Nice people, but Hunan chicken was so-so. Hot and sour soup was thick and not very good. Lacked mushrooms.
It's changed since COVID-19
The food and atmosphere is good.
The prices could be better though.
Delicious food, very good amount of food, and reasonable price! I love it indeed!
Unfortunately i ate the food and forgot to take a picture!
Food was so so. Served on paper plates in the restaurant. I will not be going back!
Place an order for pickup and even though Google said it was good, they took $50 from me aand said they were closed. They will rip you off. Don't go there!
I ordered Tom Kha here as I was craving some authentic Thai food. Now, I had Tom Kha in Thailand and I found the best Tom Kha at 4 seasons but that restaurant was permanently closed. So, I was looking for that flavor again. And this place, OMG their Tom Kha was soooooo BAD and AWFUL! Just AWFUL! It was the worse!
How do I describe it to you? There was coconut milk, and everything else. Nothing fit in together. It is like I lay everything on my table, take a bite of this and take a bite of that, then take a sip of coconut milk, if that makes sense.
Even worse, can you believe that they put chestnut and canned mini corn in TOM KHA?! It was such a huge INSULT to Thai cuisine! This restaurant is nothing close to authentic. And I will never ever return to this restaurant again.
My friend had vegan yellow curry and she said it was not good either. The potato tasted like canned cubes.
Good American Chinese type food. Great service.
My family and I were hungry after a long day of taking care of things. We ordered at the restaurant "to go" and they were pleasant and as efficient as possible for a big order. We ordered mostly Thai food as we enjoy the flavors and spices of those dishes. The dishes ordered were a little lacking in both flavor and spice which was disappointing. Since there were two different curry dishes ordered with the expectations we had in our minds, this was especially a part of our 👎 on this review. Maybe, better luck for someone else.
Don't let the smallish looking lunch menu fool you, you'll leave well fed and happy.
There are Thai and Chinese options to choose from here, pick something new or find an old favorite.
The soft drinks are canned or bottled, so you know they won't be watered down. They even have a few Jarritos Mexican sodas so you know you'll enjoy a drink you love.
Your food comes out fast, but enjoy a tasty side like the spring rolls to whet your appetite.
Friendly staff round out a simple but tasty meal experience here.
One of my top two places in and around Tucson for amazing sesame chicken!
Good
Fairly average Chinese/Thai place. I have the Pang curry and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't special.
Outstanding food and service!
My wife is gluten free and has a lot of great choices to choose from Food is very good
Great service, atmosphere, and affordable delicious food that came quickly!!! They didn't skimp on the veggies or tofu, so two entrees was filling for two people.
We asked for vegetarian Pad Thai and Red Curry (no fish sauce, no oyster sauce) and they did a great job. We also liked their hot and sour soup! We would definitely come back.
It was great. The Thai tea is delightful its a must try. The sticky rice is also a very delicious dessert also a must try!
My friend and I both got food poisoning from this place. Wouldn't recommend.
The best SE Asian food I've had in Tucson. Sometimes it's excellent, but always it's good. I suspect they have a real master chef running the kitchen because any drop in quality ideas what might be expected from a student running the kitchen on his off days. Still excellent but just missing his special touch. I highly recommend. Easy, fast pickups.
it has gotten worse every time i go. bland cashew chicken and eggrolls tasted gritty and old. it has fallen to inedible. I am done. i gave it way too many chances.
Our favorite is the various curry sauced entrees. Wish this place was closer to home. Friendly customer service at cash register.
I order something I couldn't pronounce and it was very good. Pho is good too.
Food very delicious n plenty food. Customer service great! It's our first time visit n we will return.
I was in the mood for something new and I was able to find something great in Chinese Combo Thai Cuisine. I came in looking for a spark and I found it. My positive reaction comes not only with the food but also with the helpful waitress Lena; she provided amazing service like you wouldn't believe. Just off her alone, I would come back again.
All food was served on paper plates. Food was subpar on taste, and was lukewarm.
Always great food.
Not authentic thai food, noodles tasted like chemicals
Tried the yellow curry and I was very impressed.
In search of mediocrity. The mu shu comes with tortillas!
I arrived at 1 p.m. on a Tuesday for dine-in lunch. Only one waitress/hostess, who took care and served all customers. I and the other dine-in customers could not receive attention, as to-go order customers were top priority. I walk out after waiting 20 minutes for a menu, water, etc.
Different
A whole in a wall, NOT TOO BAD! Order the Lunch special take-out. Great portion, fair price and food was ready within 15 minutes.
I ordered beef and broccoli with fried rice and orange chicken with fried rice. It came with egg drop soup which was a little bland but add salt and your good! The egg roll that is included is tiny, took me 2 bites lol My total was $20. Definitely coming again, especially living around the corner.
UPDATE: My family and I still have continued to come here at eat. Great food 👍
Wonderful every time !!!
I have ordered from both the Chinese and Thai menus, and have consistently found the food very good and the service friendly and fast.
I live close enough to take home rather than eat there, but the restaurant is clean and quiet with ample parking.
Finally open for dine in and I love it. The staff is so nice, polite and friendly. It was a very quiet environment which I enjoyed. Everything was clean, even the restrooms. The food was great of course, as always. Good portions to share and very fresh and tasty. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants.
i wish i could do half stars because this place was not exactly a 3, buut not quite a 4. we had the pad thai and pad see eew, which satisfied the craving for thai food but wasn't anything to write home about. the pad thai was missing the iconic peanut flavor, and the sauce just didn't taste like pad thai. the noodles were good and well made, but didn't have the right flavor. the pad see eew had all the correct elements of a pad see eew dish, but was very dry and the sauce could have been a lot more flavorful.
overall the service was friendly and fast, and the meal was cheap but those positives can't make up for the missing flavor.
One of the few places to find good fried won tons
Wonderful! Today was my first time dining there and the woman at the front that took the order was super helpful and patient. The staff was incredibly accommodating as they were willing to make changes to my dish to make it vegetarian. The food was well worth the wait and price. I also HIGHLY recommend the Thai tea. Definitely the best I’ve had in Tucson.
Great staff and establishment to clean your dog.
Extremely friendly staff. I walked in and ordered takeout and waited in my car for the amount of time he told me and then before I could go back in he brought my food to my car! Love this place!
My go to curry place. Excellent!
The Chinese and Thai food and variety of options are really great. We drive past 6 other Chinese restaurants (we've tried each of them) to come to this one, none of them compare. We've been ordering take-out due to COVID-19, and they're also very well prepared to minimize human contact while still providing a very good experience. Their prices are also very reasonable.
I'm attaching here a copy of the take-out Menu because the ones in the photos section are 4 years old and they have many more options now than they did back then. I highly recommend this place.
This place had great service and good food
Very good.
Good fresh Chow fun noodles and more.
I always get the pad Thai noodles here. Very red food but it's fine.
The food is always very good at this place , we keep going often. Waitress are very nice.
The people are nice but the food is only ok. I order tum yum soup. Have ordered this at other places and it was consistently good. I don't know what this place did but it smelled bad and didn't taste like tum yum. I also tried their hot and sour soup which again I have had other places. It was thick and smelled bad. I won't be going back.
Great food. Bargin price. Excellent service.
I would have to agree with Jojo this is the worst Thai food in the United States may be the world. I got my order to go and brought it home if I had been served in the restaurant I would have sent it all back.
Vary good food for the price.
Order lunch for me and a co-worker. We both agree that this place has the best Chinese food in Tucson.
Very nice restaurant, service and food.
Food is always great! Thank you!
Amazing thai curries!
Thai food is excellent at the Chinese Combo restaurant!
Yummy! We had the moo shu veggies, and the Kung Pai with tofu!
Horrible the pad Thai was red and sweet the rice Was too mushy and all the meat was fatty I couldn’t even eat any of it don’t waste your time patience or gas this will send you straight to the toilet
Service was medeochre at best. We ordered Kung Pao Shrimp, got Cashee shrimp. I asked for the dish we ordered and the incorrect plate was sauteed with peppers and peanuts instead of being replaced. 1. A violation of health regulations for food returning to a kitchen. 2. Very, very poor service. I would like the service I'm paying for since the food is of little quality or freshness.
Great service and amazing food! So glad I found this little gem!
Delicious food and friendly staff.
Dinner was excellent and served quickly. We had a family emergency after the appetizers were served and they got everything else boxed for us and checked out fast and with a smile.
The best thai soup!
Decent food, excellent service
My only chinese resturant i will eat at this place is awesome for food an dinning
Customer service so rude foods overpriced and found something crawling in the soup that i order . I told them about it and did nothing about it stay far away from this gross place.
Great food and selection! Fast service and food was generously portioned!
Front counter expressed annoyance and laughed at me even though the misunderstanding was hers.
I wanted extra veggies instead of rice. Instead i paid full price for an entree without any rice. I kept double checking because i thought she was only pretending to understand, which clearly she was.
Awsome service. Delicious food. Great prices
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We loved it
Food was delicious. Our server was amazing, she even packed our leftovers for us. Great customer service.
What a quick, quality lunch spot!
Don't let the outside appearance or the name of this restaurant fool you. This restaurant is a gem! I will comment more about the name later.
My sister and I (half Chinese and well traveled,) had the Panang Curry. My mother (full Chinese and well traveled,) had the red curry, and my daughter (quarter Chinese and not so well traveled,) had the string beans. We shared a plate of lo mein.
Everything was excellent, including the spring roll and the soups that came with the lunch special. Although we were served lots of food, there were no leftovers. We ate very well indeed! The sesame balls were so good we had to order a second helping even though we were stuffed. Everyone of us was very happy with our meal.
One measure of excellent Asian Cuisine is how you feel after you've eaten. In spite of eating copiously, we all felt good afterwards. We didn't experience any of the heaviness, tiredness or headache often associated with a large meal. This is a sure indication of a high quality meal made with quality ingredients, and done right!
Yinan, our Chinese waiter, was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. He also had an excellent command of English, and was able to advise us on our food choices.
I'm not used to spotless hole-in-the-wall restaurants, but this place was amazingly clean and well lit (the lighting wasn't obnoxious or garish though.) You could bring your prim Aunt from Omaha here, and not freak her out. Even the ambiance was passably pleasant.
The vegan options were plentiful, and I expect they will all be delicious. The price was about $1 or $2 higher than bargain lunch combos might be, but the quality of food and the excellent service makes it easily worth it.
The name of this place, "Chinese Combo/Thai Cuisine Restaurant" is highly descriptive, not to mention poetic, lyrical and evocative also. The ingenious name immediately conjures up the image of a lotus garden beside a babbling brook, that is decorated with Chinese lanterns, where you are served delicate foods by petite and gracious Chinese maidens. Seriously, as long as we are going with totally literal restaurant names, they should rename this place to "Totally Delicious Chinese Combo/Thai Cuisine with Excellent Service Restaurant."
My only complaint was the lack of beer choices. They only had three or four excellent Asian beers to choose from. I prefer Dos Equis XX beer regardless of the Cuisine I'm enjoying.
I can't wait to go back.

Here is an update from a visit 3 weeks later:
This time we had a waiter named Wayne. He also earned a gold star for excellent customer service.
This time we went for dinner and had an excellent experience very similar to the last visit. We all enjoyed ourselves and the food was excellent.
Although I had the dinner version of what I ordered last time, I also ordered the lemongrass hot and sour soup with assorted veggies. (No, it's not vegan because it is made with chicken broth, but it was well worth jumping off the wagon for one meal.) The soup's flavor was eye opening and good. I was glad I added it to my repertoire.
Since we were there for dinner, the portions were larger than last time. This time everyone had enough left over to take home with them for another meal, (which we all happily did.)
I live in Scottsdale, the land of fantastic restaurants. The food served here can compete with any of them. If you live in Tucson and like Chinese or Thai food, you are really missing out if you don't try this place.
.
Third visit still excellent. Did I mention the sesame balls? Still no Dos Equis XX beer.

Still the best lo mein in AZ. We got Yinan as our waiter again today. He's studying to be a mechanical engineer. He's highly personable and a very good waiter.
2019.04.16
We returned for a surprise birthday party with about 20 people. The food and service were still excellent. (Please warn them ahead of time if you're going to do this.)
Good
The waitress was very impatience
And almost rude
This place is dope. Our waitress accidentally overcharged us, realized it herself, admitted her mistake and recharged accordingly. Great place. Great service. Excellent food.
Our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant! Handmade dumplings, delicious ingredients, and rich sauces. Very friendly atmosphere and a perfect family environment. So much better than your ordinary Chinese restaurant.
Love hot n sour soup. Can't get enough.
Food has no flavor and slow service.
Awesome food
Good food for a great price.
Do not eat here and expect real Thai food. I should’ve known by the Chinese calendar placemats but I thought maybe it’s a crossover restaurant. I asked for spicy curry and got very bland curry. When I asked for fish sauce with peppers, I got chili oil. When I asked a second time, I got sweet chili sauce. On my third attempt, I asked the waitress if any others spoke Thai (thinking I would ask in Thai) and was told no. I asked if she could check with one of the cooks and I finally got fish sauce. Unfortunately, it only helped to add sauce not much flavor. The service was good and everything was prompt but the food was lacking.
🌸 Most delicious Panang Curry!
