Went by mistake. Food was good portion, good flavor. Waited for appetizer over 30 min and 5 min after our dish came out, wait is just so long and I was hungry lol portions are great and staff is awesome! I will go back again though it's better than other spots around here.

This was a random find for my family and it turned out to be a good one. The food is delicious and the portions are pretty large. Staff is friendly! My friend got bbq pork fried rice and asked for pineapple, which they accommodated and it was delicious! The salad is amazing! And so was the drunkin noodles (although a different type of noodle than I'm used to, but I would order again). The egg drop soup is good but on the thick side of you're okay with that. The dumplings and egg rolls were also yummy.

We got the meat buns which were delicious but felt a little old. The boba teas were delicious, honorable mention being the cereal flavor. The egg rolls were nice and crispy and had a good flavor. The sesame chicken was chewy but it had a good flavor. The Mongolian beef was okay after a couple bites i didn’t really want more. The thai dishes are pretty good here i don’t think their chinese dishes live up to them.

Pad gra prao with level 4 spicy was hott but so good I couldn't stop eating. Mix it with the rice and it becomes scrumptious.. Drunken noodles were a bit funky cause of the fish sauce. Service was friendly and helpful. Had a fun time with friends here. Would order the pad gra prao chicken again but level 2 spice level. 🔥

Came here again tonight with a group of 6 and we all enjoyed our dinner. I ordered the pad see yew this time and it was really yummy! Good portions of chicken and the spice was just right. I learned that the chef of this restaurant is from Thailand so we know the cooking is culturally authentic too. Bamboo Garden is my go to for Thai in Sierra Vista.

Updating my review because they've updated their menu. This is still one of my favorite spots in town! The staff is always really nice, and they set a high standard for customer service that’s hard to find anywhere else around here.
Everything I’ve tried has been great. I’m not usually a big fan of pho, but theirs is fantastic. Plus, they have unique milk tea flavors, like Cereal Milk, which tastes just like Froot Loops.
I've been coming here since I was a kid. They've made great improvements to the ambiance over the years while keeping the same vibe I love. I see the effort they're putting in, and I’ve got to give them props!!

Tom Kha was great and a great portion. Pad Thai didn't have any flavor. I ordered sticky rice also, it had hair in it. Hair doesn't gross me out. So it's ok. But I didn't want the mango on there. That's ok too. I didn't like the devote, way too many Buddha's and other things that was overboard. But that's just my personal conviction. I might be back for the tom Kha.

Omg that was not beef bulgogi. Everything tasted so old and gross. The beef bulgogi(if u can even call it that) was super super sweet, tasted like beef & broccoli sauce with a lot of sugar. The meat wasnt your ordinary beef bulgogi style more like pepper steak. The veggies were old and tasted old and slimey. The rice was a lil overcooked, but edible for the most part! Was the worse beef bulgogi I have ever had in my life!!!! I want my money back.

Great food but there was an issue with the cook resulting in an extended wait for our food. They were apologetic and gave us a 10% discount. Overall a good experience, and we would definitely visit again.

Every thing was great now there was no bamboo no garden and definitely no Bamboo Garden the waitress did get a bit snappy when I tried ordering dog look I didn't make up the stereo type ok and I thought we all having a good time she was speaking with a Chinese accent so why can't I she was doing the squinty eye thing 2 but I can't ! Oh Herro we wooda like order dog and kitty cat soup preese !

I'm not sure there is any way to say this without sounding mean, but the food here was just not good. My party, made up of both West Coast and East Coast pallets, tried a huge sampling of the menu, and we were all very disappointed. Every dish was either oversalted or oversweetened. The general tso's chicken was overdone, and the lomein had a foul odor. The spring roll was foul, sticky, and far too large. The wonton soup was poisonously salty. The wait staff were friendly, but extremely forgetful and slipshod with remembering our orders and sequence of dishes. I left feeling ill.

Since writing this review, I have become even more ill. Deducting a star due to poisoning.

Since making the last edit, I was informed that several other members of my party, as well as multiple members of another group from my same event also experienced illness after visiting here in the past two days. This is around 8 people total who were poisoned here. You have been gravely warned.

The food tastes fake, the restaurant is gross, and the service was poor (waitstaff was nice, but that only goes so far). On the other hand, it's one of the most affordable places to give yourself the runs in Sierra Vista. Buyer beware.

Bamboo gardens is Sierra vista’s best kept secret. The service is friendly, prompt, and personal. The food is fresh and flavorful with generous portions. There aren’t many things on the menu that I’ve ordered twice because I want to try it all… but the Brussels sprouts are a must every visit!

We are so happy we discovered this delicious restaurant!! We were craving Thai food a couple of nights ago, looked up "thai food near me," and this place popped up. The menu had a ton of options, so we decided to give it a shot. We called in a to-go order. When we picked it up, the place was clean, had a nice atmosphere, and the service was very friendly and professional. We got home, and everything was hot, made fresh, and absolutely DELICIOUS!!! This place went way above our expectations. In fact, we have ordered from them now 3 nights in a row (haha, we really like our thai food!). Their Thai Tom Yum soup is AMAZING!! If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly suggest you do. They have Chinese food as well. We look forward to dining in one of these days.

Where do I began service was good wait time not so I ordered general tao chicken with shrimp fried rice what I got was general Tao chicken with shrimp wit seem to be fried rice it was rice with soy sauce and three peas (yes I counted)and one strand of carrot which was cold and half white this is not authentic Chinese food it's edible my wife food was missing vegetables that was supposed to come with the dish had to send it back to have them added but the food around seirra vista sucks it was flavorful would I go again no

The food and service are great! I also recommend their specialty drink called "Cactus Juice."

I used to order from here often. However, my last two times have been disappointing. Last time, I ordered calamari ($15) and got a half order. Tonight, I ordered it. Figured the last time... hey things happen. But I got a box with veggies (which were good) and 6 pieces. I'm sorry, but $15 for six pieces is crazy. I've paid $15 for 1) higher quality food 2) a reasonable portion size at other restaurants.

Came in blindly without any info or recommendation. Ordered the eggplant spicy and a chicken stir fry mild. They arrived the opposite. In fact, the chicken dish was so spicy my aunt could not eat it. They offered to replace her dish and came back a few minutes later with a new one that was mild. Unfortunately they did not cook it through. The vegetables were raw and the chicken was half cooked. My Aunt was really hungry and did try to eat a few bites. That turned out to be a grievous mistake when she was awakened at 3am with nausea and stomach cramps. She has been sick all day today. Will never return to the Bamboo Gardens in Sierra Vista

Food was great! The wait time was 35 min longer than quoted for my pick up order and some of the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Food was incredible, lots of options and pretty generous portions compared to other places.

Service was outstanding, really made us feel welcome, I cannot emphasize enough how kind and friendly everyone was.

Will definitely be coming back here regularly.

Usually I'm like happy with these people... this is a sad excuse.. really tiny pieces of chicken, mostly breading, and the fact that I had to pay almost 20$ for something I should have just made myself.. imma take a break from this place for a long while.

It had a light smoky flavor that was very appealing. Anyone who thinks they don't like eggplant hasn't tried this dish! The staff are very friendly and accommodating! An easy 5 STARS!

I don't think this restaurant gets as much credit as it deserves. Amazing food and amazing people! My favorite is the Thai recipes. Love the curry and the drunken noodles. Have also had the pho dishes and some of the Chinese cuisine. Everything is prepared to order and special requests are honored. Great carryout is available as well.

The Sesame Chicken is the best in town, as well as the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce. I requested "Light on the oil" and it was done to perfection! The people there are great! They are friendly and don't mind special requests and they appreciate their customers. The food was so good I actually called back to tell them how pleased we were. I spoke with Ash. I asked her about a particular serving size on a menu item. She was very polite and knows here menu! I could tell she really appreciated the critique on the food. I could see her smile from the phone! Will order again, again, and again!!!

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is for the fact that everyone working was very nice and friendly. Food is godawful, no matter the style of Asian you prefer. Tasteless, prices on par for SV (expensive AF) but portions much less, and the ingredients all looked and tasted past their prime. Three different meals and no one enjoyed theirs. I keep trying Asian places in SV to find something decent and this one isn't it. Sticking to making stir fry at home for now.

Do yourself a favor and just don’t go. This is probably the most disappointing place in town. The food is complete rubbish, if you want a bowl of snot with shrimp order the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. How do you make Mongolian Beef with almost no flavor? The sides all sucked and dear lord don’t order Spring Rolls, it’ll take em 30-40 minutes to make and they’re super sloppy put together, all loose and falling apart, the peanut sauce it comes with is literally peanut butter with some added sweetener. The sever was really nice so they get 2 stars and it was pretty cheap but not worth waiting your time

It was better than the golden dragon in food and way better service. The rice wasn't great. The orange chicken was pretty good. The beef and broccoli was super salty. Think we will try Panda Express next time smh..

I have eaten there twice in the last month I had the shrimp egg foo yong, which was absolutely wonderful and then tonight I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice it was also absolutely delicious. I will definitely be ordering more food from them. Also, the staff is awesome I would definitely recommend that you try them.

I love that they are open on Sunday. Bradley shines on the phone, he is customer service how anyone working at a restaurant should be. Patient and friendly and helpful and kind. The food is good and comes out in good time. I had the combo C, which came with lemon chicken, egg roll, cheese puff, fried rice, and hot and sour soup. The only thing is my bf got the same combo but with Mongolian beef and didn't get a good portion size we felt.

This was the first time I have tried this clean and inviting little restaurant. I ordered take out. Everything was packaged perfectly. I ordered the BBQ pork, vegetable egg rolls, and Lo Mein with vegetables. All the items I ordered were delicious. I will certainly be back. I have already told friends about it. Next time we will dine in. I can't believe that I have waited all these years to try this restaurant.

We ordered take home. They have no delivery. Also ordering on the phone was difficult because they changed the prices from the things that I ordered from the online menu. What was supposed to cost 61 dollars went up to 86 dollars. The food was disappointing.

Very cute place with friendly staff and a variety of drinks/teas. The coconut shrimp was definitely worth it. I also had the green curry which was good with a different twist on the added veggies. Drinks were delicious!

Garbage Thai. I ordered Thai curry and it was all watery with little protein. When you got your protein it was boiled and unseasoned. Don’t do it. Chinese is good. Their shrimp egg rolls good but they cannot do Thai to save their lives

I tried this place 2 years ago, never went back and thought I would try again. I met one of the new owners and expressed I hoped things were looking better.

They are not. Here it goes:

Crab puffs-the smallest saddest things I have ever seen, I paid extra for imitation crab meat to not see any, let alone cream cheese. They were the biggest joke at the table.

Pad thai-no basil or cilantro? Not recognizable as pad Thai, just a soy drenched brown sauce. Also had broccoli, cabbage and zucchini which I have never seen in pad Thai before and not on the menu. Onion was on the menu, but also not a common thing in pad Thai.

Pad prik sod-literally none of the vegetables mentioned on the menu, they even added corn...weird. it was supposed to be spicy and was not at all.

Chicken lo mein-extremely dry and lacking flavor. Not necessarily bad, but nothing I would eat again. Kids had to add soy AND Sriracha to have any flavor.

Chicken teryaki-it was more like chicken in garlic sauce and didn't resemble teriyaki chicken in the slightest

Thai sticks-literally the best thing we ordered, but have to pay extra for chicken? I have never seen that before, that should be a standard meat option.

Overall I would wait another 2 years to even attempt this place and see if any changes to the menu to resemble actual Thai food or Chinese food. 2 stars only for the decent chicken satay that they call Thai sticks.

We love this place! The food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. Their boba is different and way better than any I've ever had. If you go hiking near Sierra Vista or want to take a day trip from Tucson, this is the perfect place to stop for lunch!

Easily one of the best places to eat in Sierra Vista. I've eaten here more than 30 times in the past few years, and the food has always been on par. Anytime there was a mistake, they went above and beyond to fix it. I've ordered $150-200 in food on various occasions; there were no errors, and the food was fantastic!

Friendly staff who are willing to help. There is one gentlemen that works here that has great customer service! He remembers you and your orders if you happen to be a repeat customer---that never happens at any resturant I've been to...

Sometimes the wait times can be longer than anticipated, but the food is fresh and hot every time. People should remember that the amount of online or phone in orders is much more common since COVID and I'm surprised they can keep up with the orders as it is.

Try the Tom Kah Gai(T7) and Pad Gra Tiem(T24) they are my favorite! Also note they have some of the best flavored drinks, Bobas and Teas.

The food was all undercooked, I was served literally RAW sweet and sour pork, I ordered chicken. But that was a miscommunication. The pork fried rice was extremely sour and tasted totally gross. I ate one bite and that was that. The BOH staff walked out into the lobby and they looked like they just crawled out of under a bridge or just came back from panhandling. It was disturbing to know who was back there cooking the food. The FOH staff were very attentive, friendly, and professional. Our server Bradley was absolutely fantastic. He made sure everything was okay and helped with what was not. The restaurant overall was pretty dirty and grungy looking.

Ordered from Doordash, I liked they have a variety selection on their menu. Food flavor was okay and the food was pricey. My partner ended up getting sick after he ate the food.

The server, I believe Bradley, is one of a kind. He was so warm and welcoming and deserves a 10/10. The food was not good. The rice was dry. I ordered the fried tofu appetizer and it was totally undercooked. I could taste the cornstarch which was not properly fried and the sauce that came with it also tasted like cornstarch. I also got the Ma Po tofu that was made with silken tofu that was just coated in a random brown gravy that had no flavor. The eggplant dish was much more appetizing but it also lacked flavor and was undercooked. This is one of the rare occasions that I didn’t eat everything on my plate.

Food was amazing and the staff was very friendly! Their boba is so good and you can tell they make everything in house. Definitely recommend to anyone with a love of chinese and thai cousine!

We happened upon this restaurant while staying at kartchner. We were greeted instantly with a smile. We sat down and ordered the hot and sour soup, pad prik king and pad Thai with shrimp. Everything was delicious. The servers were attentive to everyone dining and so pleasant! Glad we stopped in!

The food is Always great.

This is the BEST restaurant I have tried in SV thus far. Food was incredible. The milk tea was delicious and the Service was so good. The gentlemen that checked me out and made my tea was so so kind and energetic, he boosted my mood seeing him be in such a good mood. It’s funny because I actually didn’t want to try this place but got convinced and man am I glad I gave it a chance. For reference we got Chinese sausage fried rice and tofu Pad Thai. Both phenomenal but that pad Thai is so so good!!! Forgot to mention the portions are big! I had enough to make it two meals.😊

Ok first off they are super nice, their food is amazing, their general tso is actual general tso not the cheap frozen from Panda stuff, and dude thier Milk Tea is AMAZING, they had a lot of different variations n flavors, I had this milk tea called Nightshade or something, it was so so good, it has these like cool lil star shaped jellies n boba and it looked like a starry night sky, so dope.

I've ordered twice from this place and will no longer order from here. This is the second time I've found a hair in my food. I'm wiping my hands of this restaurant

The "Open " sign was still on, so we went in (just 2 of us). We were told "we're closed. Sorry." If they are closed, the sign should not be lit. It was a few minutes before 8pm, and their hours were not posted by the door. Very disappointing experience.

The stars are for the service as every time I visit, the young guy is so friendly and attentive. The food though, well, it's "meh". It's very bland but it works if you want some Asian food for a decent price.

*UPDATE* Jan 2023: Same family but new management. They have remodeled and improved the food tremendously. The food has flavor and spice and the service is still stellar!

We Dine in and Take out! Best Restaurant in Sierra Vista.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner tonight and we were immediately warmly greeted and seated. The restaurant decor is dated but clean. The menu offers a wide variety of options for everyone. Bradley, our server, was super friendly and helpful answering our questions and offering suggestions. He seems to like his job, which is really nice from the customer perspective. The appetizer and main dishes were tasty and the servings were generous. We’ll definitely come back.

It's pretty bad. Fried rice was just soy soaked rice. Not even a vegetable in the mix. Got steamed buns that were still cold in the middle. When I brought it to their attention they just said they can put them back in the microwave.

Mr. Bradley got my kid and me through the last 3 horrifying years. I don't care who "owns" or "runs" this establishment. Mr. Bradley's the guy. <3 Oh and, mix plus curry? I'll just say it'll will HARM your relationships and good. Give me curry-caused fire breath or give me death.

Food was great and very reasonably priced although the atmosphere was lacking. Service was quick but a bit unclear in regards to the lunch special.

A must visit every time I come into town. Good is always amazing and delicious. Their milk teas are the best in town and my favorite. A must try, great environment and amazing staff. Everyone is so welcoming and professional. They have recently offered delivery through a third party.

we ordered the sweet and sour pork lunch special, beef and broccoli and a bunch of meat buns and it was soooo good. the staff was super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is to die for. we just couldnt stop eating even though we were well past full. everything was super affordable for the serving sizes as well.

Ordered Delivery to the Hotel - Asked for utensils that was not included, ( not a big deal ), because the food was delivered hot. Pictured is the Tom Kha Koong, Mongolian Three Kinds and Rice. Delicious and hearty portions. Mongolian was packed with goodness and soup was well balanced. Will definitely repeat.. I like spicy food and next time will ask for more spice but it was spicy enough.

The layout of the restaurant is simple, lending itself to a calm atmosphere. The food is pretty good, the portion sizes seem to fluctuate depending on when you go. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu has a lot to choose from, which has made this one of my family's favorite restaurants.

Outstanding food and outstanding service!!

If I could give zero stars or less I absolutely would. Sub-par food that took forever. Over an hour to make 2 meals and yet the restaurant was dead! And hands down the rudest, most disrespectful staff I have ever encountered. Have a severe anaphylaxis allergy and advised them of this before hand. When picking up the order, the staff were talking badly about us for the allergy and stated that they had never encountered anyone who had an allergy to food. Not only did they get nasty with us about the allergy but also left this message in our order because they are more interested in saving the effort of washing a wok than their customers' safety! If they didn't care about your customers or making money, they should have just denied the order rather than belittling a customer for a medical condition.

***Edit- staff openly called it ridiculous and when we asked the girl up front what's ridiculous she admitted they were speaking of our order. Staff at this restaurant did not care about customer service at all

The staff is amazing! They treat us like family. Their Boba is the best! Especially the melon baller!

Ordered from Postmates wonton soup and vegetable egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. The wonton soup had zero taste- it was as clear as water. Did not eat it.
The vegetable egg rolls were okay. Good flavor. Could have been crispier.
The cream cheese wontons were very dry and seemed almost stale.
Sierra Vista is so lacking for a decent Chinese food place.... Disappointed.

Large menu worth of of food available, has excellent Boba drinks wirh specialty boba flavors, and is able to put tofu as a substitute to meat in almost anything (doordash menu being thought of, not in restaurant asking which could be even greater).

Definitely the one of the best restaurants in Sierra Vista - without a doubt the best Chinese-Thai restaurant. I've eaten here several times, always ordered something new each time, and never been disappointed - their thai green curry is especially good as well as their sesame beef. They may take a little extra time to prepare everything, but obviously that's a good thing - everything tastes fresh, arrives super hot, and you can tell everyone involved cares about what they serve. We certainly deserve more places like this in Sierra Vista. All A++ in my books.

He was very knowledgeable about the entire menu and his suggestion of drunken noodles was spot on.
Unfortunately we are now out of the area but hope to be back for next summer and this will be a must go to once a week..

First time here and what a great experience! The waiter was amazing! He was upbeat, friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed to be happy to be there. (All the staff we interacted with were great!) Food was hot and delicious. We will absolutely be back to this place!

Went here for the first time to get some take out for my grandparents and I. The food is INCREDIBLE. The staff are friendly and attentive to you and the food. The boba drinks are 100/100 and so is the food. I recommend this place.

Expensive for the quality. Beef and broccoli had so much broth/soupy. Regular portions of Vegetable fried rice/steamed rice but 11$ each!! Dumplings decent. Mostly perturbed by paying double for the amount of food/quality. Won't be going again.

Casual dinning, Great food, Staff attentive and courteous. Takes awhile to get your food, but the results are fresh, warm, well prepared meals. Worth the wait. No alcohol being served yet.

Best food in town hands down. It's a family run establishment and the family could not possibly be nicer. They are just the best. Highly recommend.

Our friend wanted to go somewhere where the food was "cheap and disgusting". Well, he meant Taco Bell, but we weren't up for that and decided to check out Bamboo Garden from which we had take out the day prior. Place was mostly empty, with the staff and family having convo in one part of the restaurant. We tried Night Sky and Morning Sky bubble tea, the Morning Sky was tad bit sweeter than Night Sky, as entrées we got Pork Lo Mein, the portion was bigger than I expected, and Combo dinner with egg roll and sweet and sour chicken, which I regreted not ordering too, because it was good. I honestly felt like back in Europe, sitting in the slightly run down Asian restaurant, just enjoying food with close friends or family.

The food was absolutely delicious both Chinese side and really shines on the Thai side. The food is piping hot and extremely flavorable Even by taking a to go plate home, it's still hot. Clean place, super friendly staff. Owners are amazing. We've been earing here for 4+ years And I'll still keep coming back. Thank you Bamboo Gardens and Thai cuisine. Reasonably priced. Lunch specials are totally worth it They have bomb 🔥Boba🔥

Flavorful lard dish

Steamed dumpling were horrible and flavorless. The edges were dry and not edible. Would guess they were frozen and not handled properly. The entree Gen Tso Chicken was dry, hard and off tasting. Over priced for portion size. More like a kids meal. Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Will not be back. Will not recommend.
