We have been here a few times and absolutely love the food. We have never had a bad experience and it's the only place that can bring the heat! I can barely handle the medium spice level here and I love spice. I love everything we have had so far so much so that I'm actually excited to try other things on the menu vs keeping to my staple Thai food items and have not been disappointed yet!
The owner is so nice and friendly we really enjoy each visit even when we stop in just for take out. It's quickly become our new favorite neighborhood Thai food place.

The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and promptly had me take a seat. The menu is extensive and the lunch special is awesome. While I ate my food, there was steady traffic coming in to pick up orders or dine in. No surprise as the food was the best Asian food I’ve had in a long time. Everything was DELICIOUS! I will be back and I hope other people continue to support this place!

A small place but the food is very good! You can either get the lunch special or the dinner, I opted for the dinner. Portions aren’t huge but it’s just the right amount.

My wife and I went to this place on Firday for dinner for the first time. What a gem!!!! The place was packed with people but ww were able to get a table right away.. We ordered the drunken noodles and the bacon fried rice. UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS!!! Hands down some of the best Thai food we've eaten. We were initially intrigued by the menu and the prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact the service was equally impressive. This place is definitely our new favorite place.

This place is a hidden gem ( a little hard to find). I was craving some spicy soup and this place popped up on google for me when looking for Ramen. I ordered the spicy Ramen. Chose the heat level above medium(i like spicy food) it was delicious, such rich flavors! definitely recommend!

Authentic Thai food, absolutely delicious! If you want Thai hot, they have a very small container that is very hot.

UPDATE: La’s Thai on Hayden and a little south of McKellips were sold to a new owner mid April 2024. The owner still owns the other location in Scottsdale.

I figured out that asking 2 1/2 on La’s Thai heat scale is perfect for me! Oh! I ask for Rard Na - it’s like the Pad See Ew - but with gravy!

Oh and their Green Curry is the bomb!!

I went here for dinner with a friend and it was delicious. The place is little and clean and cozy, the restroom was very nice and clean.
The waiter/ server was busting his butt and doing a good job. The food came out promptly and looked nice and it tasted so good, it was my first time trying Thai food, I was not disappointed. We both had the yellow curry, it was very flavorful and nicely spiced. The texture was amazingly satisfying with the jasmine rice and they give you alot of food. We shared chicken skewers & fresh rolls with shrimp, the two dipping sauces complimented those two dishes quite well. I highly recommend this place.

This is a charming little Thai place in Scottsdale. It has a large and flexible menu with abundant vegetarian options. We had three different curries and one clear soup with added noodles. We also had a fried tofu appetizer. It was the best Thai food we have had i years. Service was excellent and prompt.

Love this spot. The spicy eggplant is a favorite, the chicken is tender and the basil tastes great with the dish. Service is good too.

So…I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt obligated to this time. This was my very first time ordering from La’s and, it most certainly will not be the last. The food was phenomenal. I think probably the best I’ve had in and around the Scottsdale area. I ordered green curry with chicken and the Thai fried rice. Both delicious and full of flavor. The owner was so cute. He asked me if this was the first time that I had been and I said, “how did you know?” and he replied” I know my customers.” And I bet that’s true. He will definitely be recognizing me because this will be my go to Thai restaurant. Don’t walk - run ! You will not be disappointed.

Been going to La's for about 10 years at south Scottsdale location since it was by my work. I started going to their north Scottsdale location when I changed jobs, and their Thai food and service is still the best in AZ. Lisa is a great waitress and La's and her husband's cooking is great. Everyone I have taken to La's wants to go back.

Tastes good!… but there is so little rice with my dish it’s ridiculous. I took 2 small bites out of this rice in the picture. They want $2 extra for more rice. Just give people a full scoop of rice. It’s called adding value. And it costs you .05 cents!

Great food, I had the green curry chicken. The nicest lady was our waitress. You can tell it's family owned.

I have been coming here for years. The staff is always super hospitable. Food is always delicious. I am a fan of their curry. I have had them all and I love them all. They are conveniently located for me. The store is small and cozy. Always clean and smells good.

Our favorite neighborhood Thai place

The price was right and the food for Thai was average to good. I wasn't thrilled but I also wasn't disappointed at all. The peanut sauce was made with mayonnaise instead of maple syrup or coconut creme. It didn't taste right. The main dish was made fresh to order and served hot. The serving size was good. It's just a plain small restaurant in an industrial area with excellent prices for what you get. They are friendly and the service was great.

I ordered the ginger delight with tofu and my husband ordered the shrimp noodles plus we had veggie egg rolls. The food was outstanding!! I love the way they cut the vegetables, I loved the vegetable selection that came in my meal (there was no baby corns, I hate those baby corns) I loved that the tofu was lightly fried, not deep fried, I loved the soft, fluffy, perfectly cooked white rice, and I love that my dish was not overbearing with sauce but packed with flavor!! Everything tasted fresh. I also appreciate the layout of the menu and the variety and unique menu items compared to other Thai restaurants. We ordered take out and the staff was friendly, efficient, and honest. Right after leaving the place to pick up our order, they called to say the egg rolls were accidentally left out of our bag and very apologetic and of course provided the egg rolls for free. La’s Thai Cuisine just bumped up to my first choice for favorite Asian take out!! We will definitely be ordering from them again!!

The food makes up for the service

The pineapple fried rice is great. A bit sweet and not oily. They serve in large portions that I had the leftover for breakfast. The staff is super kind and many people order for takeouts.

My daughter and I had a lovely time at this restaurant. The food is authentic, fresh, and so delicious. We loved all the combinations you can make with protein, sauce, and spiciness. Our favorite was the banana desert with coconut ice cream and honey drizzled on it The service is spectacular and they treated us like we were the only people there. This is a beautiful little place and we highly recommend it.

Pad Thai was fantastic and the host was fantastic. He came to check on us multiple times and always had a huge smile on his face.

If you haven't been here, you need to go. La's Has some of the most delicious Thai food for a very reasonable prices. It is hard for me to pick a favorite dish since I have loved everything I've ordered here, but the Pra Ram and shrimp egg rolls are 2 of my favorite things here. The friendly service is absolutely the best.

I’m extremely disappointed in this place! I have been coming here for a while now and I ordered food later one night during the week last week. The food was artful, the noodles were soggy and greasy and it had more opinions than noodles. The chicken was bland. But that’s not why I giving this place a bad review. Be aware!!!!! I used a cc and left a very generous cash tip and wrote cash in the tip spot. I then revived an email today (thank god) from my cc company saying they thought the tip was incorrect. Well yes it was. Because I tipped in cash. So the person working there entered his own tip amount. Be careful!!!! I will never order from places like this that scam their guests!!!!

I absolutely love how fresh their ingredients are here and how lovely the staff is. Good vibes and great food all around! Happy I found them.

Some of the best Thai food I have had. When I go to other Thai places I often find myself comparing them to La's. Their curries and noodle dishes are great.

Best Thai food in the valley

Was in need of some authentic Asian comfort food after a long weekend in Scottsdale and this place hit the spot. Got the red curry, spicy noodles, Tom yum (small is enough to share between two people), and papaya salad. Spice level 3 is perfect for those who love spicy. Service was friendly and quick. Portions were large for the price!

I’ve been to La’s every week for the last 3 months. Their Pad Thai is super yummy and gluten free! They’ve never messed up my order, even though I always ask for a lot of substitutions. Pic is of my husband’s Orange Chicken and my Pad Thai with some changes.

Easily the best Pad Thai in Scottsdale. Actual peanuts in the peanut sauce with is not runny like most other restaurants. You actually get noodles unlike other places that stuff mostly bean sprouts carrots and other filler garbage. It is very spicy so order 1 less star than usual. The shrimp is excellent, the beef was not so great, but this is easily the best pad Thai in Arizona and I have had several different places and grew up on Thai food growing up in Seattle. Please support this small business so it can stay around during this pandemic.

Was in town for work and was in the mood for some Thai food. Reviews looked good. Unfortunately not good food. The sauces they use are from a can, the vegetables are frozen, the chicken is not cooked to order. Sadly some of the worst Thai food I’ve ever had.

I love Thai food and this little spot is by far the best. It is authentic with generous portions, spiced to taste, at a reasonable price. Their Thai coffee is a tasty treat. I go out of my way for their curried dishes.
