My favorite Thai food! I literally crave the Yellow Curry. It is so amazingly delicious! My husband had never had Thai food before and asked me to bring something home for him to try since he's always hearing me rave about it. He's also addicted now. He gets upset with I have it without him. 😆

This is our new Wednesday night take home dinner spot. They make everything to your specifications and we order gluten free and dairy free. This is a family run business so we like giving them our business.

My go to order has always been the Crispy Chili Chicken, Hot, with coconut rice. I found the spice and flavor levels of the chicken and vegetables to be comparable to the prior ownership, and possibly better than the past. I can see how other reviews may feel the balance is a bit off, but I found the flavor fantastic. I would encourage folks to not be discouraged by the few negative reviews and go give them a shot. I will certainly be back.

My only reason for the 4 star review is that the portion sizing seems to be noticeably less than previously served which felt a tad disappointing for pricing still being the same.

This time I also tried their pot stickers, which I believe are usually overpriced literally everywhere, but these pot stickers were very tasty and priced well for the portion.

Update 02/12/2025: The previous owner retired and this place is NOT the same. The love is gone and the food tastes like a facsimile of its former self. That could all be acceptably passable if the portion sizes and amount of protein didn't shrink too. I'd save your money and go down the street to either of the spots off Shea & Scottsdale instead.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The fresh spring rolls were the best I have had. The yellow curry was very good, and the sticky rice and mango was a delicious way to finish the meal. The process were very reasonable.

One of the best Panang curries I have ever had. Fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce were amazing. The sweet sticky rice mango was perfectly delicious. Service was great as well.

The food was very very good. I like the spice level lot. It is under new management. Please give this place a chance this young lady who owns it also owns a massage place and she’s always wanted to open up a restaurant and she has a good demeanor, good friendly personality. She really cooks good they have a new cook working here that knows how to make Thai food. I think this place is going to succeed And anybody that hesitant or has tried this place already and didn’t like it. Please give it another try because my wife and I went tonight and we both had the green curry and then we had the pad Thai gluten-free and it was really good so anybody would dietary restrictions should definitely try to come in this place cause they’re really good at honoring your gluten allergies . If you have a peanut allergy, whatever it may be they’ll definitely honor it. The gentleman who’s here right now? Is her best friend who’s also her CPA who’s helping her and get this business up and running? They seem like a really good place and I believe that it has a lot of potential for growth. They kept the same prices and she has done a few tweaks on the food but not much so if you like Chris’s place, please try this place. We were very satisfied with the food tonight. It was hot. Really sad to report this location is completely under new management, order at your own risk. I do think it's decietful to not have any info on the website mentioning the change in ownership, when the quality of the food is not even remotely close to how it was nor is food being prepared the way it should be. I was willing to give it a chance hoping maybe they retained their original cook at least. Nope. The food was not edible and went into the trash, everything was grossly sweet, drowing in oil, and overcooked. Sad to see this place go as it was a favorite when we moved to Arizona this year. All good things eventually come to an end sadly. Goodbye Thai on Demand 😟

I used to love this place, was a regular here. I go in today and it’s under new ownership. The service and the food itself has fallen off a cliff. Barely edible noodles, chewy chicken, and a spice level that wasn’t what I requested.

Great service, casual vibe, and a great combo of very tasty and fresh vegetables (ordered the eggplant dish and vegetable soup). Fried Pad Tai was fun and the Thai tea was solid.

The eggplant dish was a little sweet and the medium heat was pretty medium (so the spice levels seem pretty accurate)

Okay.. I’m a food sucker & I love good food. I’ve been eating Thai food for a long time & I know all restaurants are different but this is just omg I’ve no words!

The fried wontons: every wonton or crab angel I’ve had comes with cream cheese, these guys used avocado paste or filling for the wontons. I’m sorry but why!!?!!

Thai fried rice: seems they mixed plain rice with a bunch of things & some colouring because it had no flavour & spinach & all these garnishing that overpowered the meal. I picked at the proteins in it & left the rice.

My girlfriend likes their food but I personally couldn’t manage it.. I’m not a good critic as bad because I review a lot of restaurants but this place is an insult to Thai food😫

Thai food is my favorite!! Sadly, this one wasn't. I ordered the eggplant stir fry - spice level hot. My veggies were still cold, and didn't taste cooked. Also, it was not spicey. My husband ordered the panang curry. It was chunky and the curry didn't balance well at all. It was fresh, so I guess we're happy with that.

Super fresh ingredients and you can watch food prepared. A few tables inside, we like the very casual patio. Love everything, we enjoy green or yellow curry, pad Thai. They adjust to your spice level and can omit something if you don't like or allergic. Owner is very lovely and shows his appreciation to customers.

Everything was overcooked but decent. Not inexpensive. Will try another time.

Such a delicious and delightful experience today. My boyfriend and I ordered the lunch special and it was a generous portion and the soup it came with was light and full of flavor. I had to order dessert and got the mango sticky rice, I can’t wait to come back for more! 😍

Authentic and absolutely delicious. The guy at the counter, who I presume to be the owner, was very genuine and kind. When asked about menu items, he explained in detail. I will definitely be back! The spice was amazing! Also, they have coconut rice.

Thai On Demand provides great food and an ample selection. The restaurant is cozy and the kitchen simple; however, the flavor is as rich and spicy as any Thai restaurant. The yellow curry makes you feel like your soul is being welcomed to a home of flavor and comfort. The flavors are amazing! I always order to go because I work near by and they always have fast and timely service. Friendly people and I'm your basic white girl so the mild level of spicy is perfect.

Not even close. The Chicken Pad Thai wasn't cooked properly and was more like boiled noodles not pan fried, the chicken Panang Curry was bland and mostly eggplant with about 3 pieces of meat in it, the soup was small and had the wrong flavor for Tom Kai Gai, the Cilantro Garlic Beef was mostly broccoli and tasted like the same teriyaki sauce they cooked the teriyaki chicken in. The only reason I even tried this place rather than the my regular Thai House on Shea was because I had a 1st time uber eats coupon, which they failed to apply. So not only will I not be eating here again, but I won't be using uber eats or even uber again for that fact.

I got the chili chicken and the coconut soup. Soup was good. Chili chicken dish kinda seemed burnt. I don’t know if that was an intentional char grill thing but kinda weird to char grill a fried chicken dish. I still ate it because I’m fat but now seriously questioning if that is how it was supposed to taste. I can’t imagine it was because it really wasn’t good.

I have been here twice recently. 5 stars for a generous spicy level - the medium was perfect and not too ‘gringo’. One star off for inconsistency. The amount of food varied as well as the texture despite ordering identical dishes within the week - more food and thicker texture the first time. Also; utensils are not automatically included. The first time this was offered the second time not and I reached my destination without anything but my fingers to eat my pad thai! Just something good to know walking in and nice not to be wasteful, but also nice to be able to eat your food.

Incredible customer service.....sat me and let me order 20 minutes before they opened and greeted me with a smile both the owner and the chef.

What a great experience we had eating at Thai on Demand. We were greeted so warmly by the cashier who was attentive to us throughout our dining experience. The food was excellent! My fiancée had the red curry and said it was the best red curry he’s ever had. I had the Pad See Ew and it was so flavorful. Amazing treatment to the tofu and a lovely surprise of complimentary soup. Highly recommend!

I've sampled Thai from all over and this place is right there at the top. The soup was the most flavorful I've had yet and the Pad Thai was amazing. Will definitely be back soon.

I’m on the hunt for great pad Thai and Thai curry. Based on reviews I really wanted to love this place but it was just OK. Not terrible but not great. We ordered shrimp pad Thai, chicken yellow curry and mango sticky rice. Bottom line - We won’t be returning.

Best Thai Restaurant I ever had. This small restaurant was not only inviting but it tastes amazing. I tried 4 dishes and two appetizers and ordered it to go. The food was cooked on the spot and was fresh when recieved. I ordered the entrees below.

Out of the four entrees I have tried; the Pork Belly Fried Rice and Teriyaki Chicken was ranked the best in my opinion. Also, the spring rolls and freshs rolls were on point.

When ever I come into Arizona to visit in the future I will be coming back to this location. The only problem with Thai on Demand is that its not available in Texas.

Got the chicken pad Thai delivered from this place. Super solid overall and would order again. I got a 3/5, or hot, and it was more like a 2 or 2.5. It was a little bit on the sweeter side, emphasis on just a little. They gave a ton of meat, maybe the most I’ve ever gotten in a pad Thai dish. The noodles weren’t rubbery at all. Overall with the flavor, texture, price, portion size etc I’ve only had one Pad Thai dish before that I’d clearly pick over this.

It’s always a good sign to see the owner involved in the day to day operations and present with their staff. Food is excellent, the spicy crispy chicken is delicious and the coconut rice really shines. The lunch special soup is great too! COVID safety practices are up to par!

I have ordered from here twice. The first time they messed my order up providing a completely different dishes than I had ordered. I didn’t say anything and let it slide since I didn’t want to go back and was ok with what I received.

The second time I ordered at 7:45 on a Wednesday night online. The order processed but when I arrived the store was closed and I received a text saying my order would be ready at 11:30 AM on the following day! There was no option for a refund online and their phone continues to ring out. I ended up ordering from Cha Da Thai across the road and they were amazing! Their food was great, fairly priced and they were open at 8pm on a week night.

The food here has excellent flavor! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The Tom Ka Gai is my go to order. I've ordered this soup at Thai restaurants all over the country, and this is by far the best coconut I have ever had. I don't care for all the veggies in the fried rice, but they always happily customize my order. Great place. You won't be disappointed!

There are several Thai restaurants in this area, and this is a good one! It's not my favorite in the valley, but that's a 30min drive away. When I'm craving Thai food and need it fast, Thai on Demand is a great choice!

The food here is fresh and delicious! I’m a huge fan of the Pad Thai and any of their dumplings. Service is excellent, and they’re very friendly.

We ordered take out/pick up. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted with our food! We ordered Pad Thai, Pad Ke Mao, and fresh spring rolls with some special requests because I’m pregnant. They were fantastic about making our special order. On top of the great service, the food was amazing (and fresh)! We will definitely be back!

My panang curry with beef was severely lacking flavor. Ordered Medium, expecting a little kick without making it too spicy. Not only was it not spicy at all but it was flavorless. I guess if you are going to try their curry, order it hot.

The amount of meat the came with it is shameful. In a quart of curry, there were only a few small pieces of chewy meat.

The only highlight was the Pad Thai spring rolls. A bit pricey for how small they were but they were quite a treat.

Been doing my share of supporting local take out and after some below par takeout I have to say Thai on Demand NEVER disappoints! Pandemic or not the food is always outstanding! Mostly takeout with a small outside patio for dining, I'm always amazed by the consistency of their dishes! My fav...drunken noodles...but becareful most cant take the higher spice level but always ALl GOOD in my book. Treat yourself if in the area!

Everytime I am near the area, I go here. The food has authentic flavors and is utterly delicious. Food is made to order and relatively quickly. The owner is so very nice! Please eat here!

Placed an order for pickup. Small place with one register and had to wait in line behind 8 people to place thier orders and pay - while my food sat on the counter getting cold. On the menu is 2 soups; Tom Ka Gai $5 and Tom Yum Gai $4. I ordered the Tom Yum but was charged for Tom Ka Gai. It's only a buck but still, every dollar adds up. Food was good but won't order for pickup again unless they let you pre-pay to allow for faster pickup.

Very cute little place, 3 table to dine in. Charming owner. I ate in and took the extras home. The Pad Thai was yummy, hot and fresh. initially ordered one evening but realized that I ordered too late, and it was going to be delivered in time for lunch. Ordering for delivery cit off is at 7 pm. I will definitely order from there again.

I went there a couple times and would definitely recommend. Food was fresh, tasty, and unfortunately makes you realize how the food you get elsewhere is not fresh at all. Prices are very reasonable! Beware tho, "medium" curry still has red chillis and will feel spicy. Unfortunately this place isn't suitable for people who don't like spicy food, but why would you want curry anyways then?

They put kale in the dish and not just normal kale, it was like chewing on a thick branch of burnt kale. My husband had pad Thai which was OK and my sister had green curry which tasted like coconut milk rice with no other seasonings at all... I would recommend to try someplace else!

Very good food, small place with limited seating but friendly efficient service.

Honestly, the best thai food around! (Especially for the price.) Chris and his staff deliver exactly what I want every time I visit. I recommend the chicken panang curry and the crispy garlic chili chicken. Make sure to try the different chili sauces they have and also ask for some chilis in fish sauce on the side, you won't regret it!

This place is amazing! I cannot get enough. I could literally eat here every day. THE BEST Red Curry!

I love Thai on Demand it's literally my favorite Thai place to come to. It's actaully the only Thai restaurant I go to when I'm craving some curry. The Panang Chicken Curry is the best curry I've ever had. Thank you Chris so much for bringing everyone the best Thai food around!!

Best Thai food I've had. My sister and I used DoorDash and I had the medium hot Panang curry with brown rice. Sister had the medium hot Crispy smoked chili chicken with coconut rice. Also, we had the steamed ginger chicken pot stickers and the fried wonton with avocado cream cheese. Very good... had leftovers... so even better 🥰

Very tasty! We agree with the other reviews this is a good find. We ordered vegetarian pad thai and eggplant basil. Fresh ingredients and great flavors.

My go to dish is Pad Thai. Finally a Thai restaurant that can actually make a good one. The noodles were cooked properly and not gummy. The sauce was flavorful with a nice peanut taste. There fried fish was amazing. Having a larger facility would make it more appealing.

The food, pad Thai, was okay. This little restaurant is stuck in the corner of a shopping 'center'. It was a bit difficult to find. I was told that this was a good place for Thai food. The people who where working the lunch shift seemed to be trying to please. There is only room for a few tables inside but there is a patio in front. If I visit again, I will order take out. Prices were low.

Great food and friendly staff. Though they have only been in their location for a year, they consistently serve excellent Thai food compared to other neighboring Thai restaurants.

Simply outstanding in every category. A dedicated family restaurant business that truly cares about quality and customers. And it shows, both in taste and demeanor. Guests experience warm smiles and warm dishes. Such a great variety of entrees, many of them unique to this particular place. , I'm definitely coming back to try more!

And everything is LITERALLY made to order: you can request whatever you want and they'll make it for you. It doesn't have to be on the menu, they requests and make them based on the ingredients they have! :D

Food is good but hard to find the restaurant

I thought this place would be better because its so highly rated. Disappointed in the Fried Rice. It was largely flavorless and not like Fried Rice I've had many other places. cucumbers, tomatoes, and a lime were also a bit odd. It really just felt like I was eating white rice with giant pieces of cucumbers, broccoli, chicken, and tomatoes. Needs a lot more seasoning.

Overall, not the worst I've had, but would definitely not try this place again.

The owner was super nice and got our order out quickly. However, our curries were very bland. No flavor even with medium spice. Disappointing.

Great foods and friendly owner. Not a big place for lunch, but it's very good for lunch crowd. The outdoor siting area are nice in the Spring and Winter.

Parking is a little tough, but it worth the time to try this place out.
