The Service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. They kind lady working the front was super helpful when deciding what dish to order. I ended up with the pad Thai and Thai tea. It only took 10 minutes to get, granted I had gone in shortly after opening.

Dined in on a quiet Sunday evening. Beautiful and extremely clean restaurant. We enjoyed thai ice tea, a variety of appetizers, and of course pad thai. Everything was delicious and you cannot beat the price.

First time dining here and will definitely not be my last. Restaurant was very clean, quiet, and the staff extremely friendly - plus my daughter stated they had an excellent play list. I had steamed Potstickers for an appetizer which were prepared perfectly and they came with a tasty, vinegar based sauce. My main was the Garlic and Pepper dish, with the #4 Thai heat. The dish was incredible. The chicken was served over cabbage with cucumbers and tomato slices (which was different but worked well together). The sauce for the chicken was delicious. My daughter ordered the Fresh Rolls and the Mixed Vegetable soup. She said they were excellent (and took home the leftovers). Staff always had our water glasses filled. Looking forward to my next trip.

Pathetic! Closes at 9:00pm on a Friday night! 9:00pm! What are people supposed to do? Eat at 5 o clock and then home to bed? Pathetic!

I have lived in AZ for 7 years now and been a loyal customer of La's the whole time! Hands down the best Thai food in the Scottsdale area! I've tried so many different places and I always end up right back at La's wishing I hadn't bothered with anywhere else! The staff are very friendly, the service is quick and the spice level is always on point! You can't go wrong with anything you order! My personal favorite is the mixed vegetable with chicken, medium spicy. Hits the spot every time! Highly recommend!

I have dined at and ordered take out from La’s on many occasions and have always enjoyed the food; the Green and Panang curries are my favorite. I also appreciate that the folks here are willing to make my order vegetarian friendly.

whoever answers the phone is extremely rude. I called to place an order for pick up and realized when I got to my garage that my friend had took my car so I called back within two minutes to let them know I couldn’t get there and told her I was So very sorry I wouldn’t make it before 2:30 and she responded “ I’m confused, so, why would you call? I had to explain the story again and apologized again and all she said back was “well that’s very interesting.“ it’s not only about food at a restaurant. It’s about services as well and there’s no reason to be rude.

I discovered this gem a couple months ago and it is my go-to spot for Thai. The food is fresh, tasty, authentic and always hits the spot when I have a craving for Thai food. I usually do take-out, but I’ve dined-in a couple times. Atmosphere is quiet, charming, and service is attentive! Highly recommend!

This is an updated review in 2024. I was last here a few years ago, and they have NOT improved at all. So I am dropping my rating from 3 to 2 stars. Their pot stickers were hard as rocks, impossible to chew or cut with a knife, so we threw them away.

Pretty good but not great, esp the Chicken Pad Thai. Tom Kha Gai is bland, and it is really hard to screw this soup up as it is so simple to make.

Chicken Satay and peanut sauce is great.

They do give you big servings which is a bonus.

Love this place! This is a regular stop for me and some friends from work, it is a very relaxed spot for a casual lunch or dinner.
The staff are friendly and helpful, though sometimes when it's busy, you can tell they are stretched a little thin... in my opinion, it's worth the wait.

OMG, some of the best authentic Thai food in Arizona, and maybe some of the best I’ve ever had. I absolutely loved the complex flavors of the pad see ew and the yellow curry noodles. Not only that but the service and atmosphere are fantastic. Nothing beats the feeling of finding another reliable restaurant to add to the roto.

1st time here was on Saturday April 27 for lunch. Spectacular lunch! Everything was to my expectation. The temperature of the restuarant seemed a little warm. The only recommendation I would make to the owners / managers is to please provide the customer with some bottles sauces; such as Soy Sauce, Siracchi, Chili Peppers, Chopped onion with maybe some Cilatro. This way your customers wont keep asking for packets of these sauces. I would say providing packets of sauces is not the best thing. Thank you.

Very decent thai food from this area. Got yellow curry noodles and would highly recommend. Can't go wrong with their thai ice tea. Staff are super friendly and nice, always a good vibe! 100 would def come back!!

I was visiting from NYC and had this for dinner the first day I landed and it was so good that I ordered it for take-out on my way to the airport. It is truly one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to in the US. I wish I had this type of quality and authentic Thai food in my neighborhood. Very good prices as well! I ordered the Panang Curry, the Pad See Ew and a Thai Tea. Will definitely stop by the next time I'm in Scottsdale again.

La and Lisa are awesome. We go here every week, because they have quality Thai food at a great price. This is one of the best hidden gems that I like to tell all of my friends about. The Panang Curry and Pad See Ew are to die for! 5 out of 5.

I have eaten here on several different occasions and have also gotten take out. The food is good! I really enjoy the spicy noodles. Very flavorful and like the name suggests it is spicy! That said the service greatly takes away from the experience. All the times I have eaten in the service has been very poor rather it is busy or not. You never get any refills of water which is such a shame when you're trying to enjoy the food spice. Mixed with the price of any entree, it is honestly very hard for me to ever come back here to eat. I'll definitely keep looking around for a Thai restaurant that has great food and great service but La's Thai Cuisine definitely falls short

With the 1st bite of our dishes we were amazed at the burst of flavor 😯🥹😋The food was exquisite. We've enjoyed thai cuisine elsewhere but it was clear that these dishes were uniquely curated. I'm a bit of a sauce snob & the sauces were so so good, light and sweet but not overly so. The serving size wass plenty and matched the price point. We were thrilled to have some leftovers to take home 🤗

Incredible explosion of flavor, crazy cheap, chill environment

We went here for my aunt's birthday, and had a nice time overall. Everyone agreed their seafood was delicious, and my aunt liked that they de-tailed the shrimp and took the mussels out of the shells. I thought the tofu was too mushy (I asked for it fried crispy,) and the curry wasn't spicy enough (I asked for it thai hot, and it came out mild.) The flavor itself was good, though, and prices were reasonable. Service was very very slow, and we found ourselves looking around for her frequently. She was quite nice, at least. The interior was nice, but a little basic. I would say it's a basic, slightly above average thai restaurant, but nothing I'd go out of my way to have again.

Went with the spicy noodle and the chicken chow mein, both a 2 out of 5 on the spice scale. The chow mein had a large amount of cabbage and was far too spicy and left us with heart burn. Would recommend the spicy noodle dish as the flavor was very reminiscent of drunken noodle dishes. Overall still very tasty. We had our dishes to go. The restaurant was very quaint.

Honestly, if you're looking for great food (that makes you feel good), with good service and a nice atmosphere, Go to La’s. The main server ( Lisa) is so nice and friendly!! Always remembers us when we come in.
They are a family operated restaurant that puts pride in what they do. And if youre looking for a dish, Get the Massaman Curry! The massaman sauce is incredible. One of my favorite spots in Arizona. ..

The north Scottsdale location is very quaint. Everything single dish we have had here is beyond delicious! Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Jasmine rice is perfect. I wish I knew the manager’s name, but she is delightful, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. She is very helpful and asks me the questions so I can select the appropriate level of heat level for the dish. If you want it spicy hot you can get it, but if you want it mild you can trust that the dish will be mild and tasty!! Thank you for creating a consistently delicious product!!

The deacor is GORGEOUS. Really warm, clean, inviting feel when you walk in. Apparently the owner does all the woodworking and did the entire renovation which was cool to learn.

A new favorite!!! First time here and everything we tried was amazingly delicious!! 1000% coming back! Thai Tea was perfect to complement our meal, the cream cheese wontons are some of the best I've had, and I've tried A LOT of cream cheese wontons. Green curry was pleasantly spicy, plenty of sauce, and the rice was perfectly cooked, very light and fluffy. Also very happy with the price, and when we were done, they had good quality to go containers. Server was super friendly and attentive. Literally no complaints!!

The green curry clearly had artificial green color & didn't have much flavor (a bit disappointing). The chicken in the Pad Kee Mao was a bit dry as well. Overall our experience was simply average.

I am so disappointed! I’m in Scottsdale for one night, love Thai and I was starving after a long drive. I read glowing reviews about the food and service. So, I gave it a shot. I got the satay, pad Thai chicken, side of jasmine rise and a Thai tea. The satay was rubbery and didn’t taste good. The peanut sauce that went with the satay was so thick, it was actually gross. Needless to say, I ate one skewer and tossed the rest. Not good! The pad Thai was very dry, and had the same gross chicken. It made me gag a little, and I really wanted it to be good. I love Pad Thai, it’s usually by go-to when I can’t decide. I hate to say this, but the frozen pad thai from Trader Joe’s is better, and I don’t like frozen meals. The jasmine rice was undercooked, so I tossed it out. The only thing that was good was the Thai Tea. I don’t know if it was just an off night for the cooks or what, but this was definitely not the best Thai. It wasn’t even good Thai. The lady who took my order was very nice. I tried calling in my order so I wouldn’t have to wait too long once I arrived, but the phone was busy for 10 minutes straight. I gave up and just drove over to place the order inside. Which meant I had to wait there for 25 minutes. I wouldn’t have minded if the food had been good. Man, so disappointing! And a waste of forty bucks because of course I made sure I left a tip.

Best Thai food in Scottsdale. I've tried many in town and this place is the closest to authentic home cooked Thai food. The dishes are flavored well and tasty. I love that they even offer lo mein noodles which is typically a Chinese dish. My kids love it. Overall the service and food are are amazing. Definitely come here for authentic Thai food not the fast pick and go with no flavor.

I had high hopes based on other reviews but this was mediocre at best. Also I ordered medium spice and it had hardly any heat. The basil tofu was bland and the tom yum soup was just plain bad. Even the rice was dried out. I ended up throwing it away.

Typically I've only done takeout or delivery via Doordash. Last night I actually sat down for dinner and was surprised to get a seat. Can I just say the food and service are always top notch? Everything tastes super fresh. You know how when you ask for medium but it stll feels like a 4-alarm fire to your tastebuds? Medium was perfectly...medium. Not too mild, not too spicy hot.

The menu choices are many and I have never had a bad meal here. I am so thankful when any Thai restaurant has my favorite Thai beer, Singha. Prices are very reasonable. Food quality is high. Customer service is just wonderful. Hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in AZ.

I found this place after getting a couples massage at lemon tree in the same shopping complex (which was absolutely the bomb, but that’s for another review). After reading the previous review I just had to get a load of the scary bathroom. See pic. Oh brother. The place is awesome very tasty food great week stuff and a really nice clean and comfortable atmosphere…tastefully done! Give it a try, you will not be sorry.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered their orange chicken lunch special, and the chicken was very crispy and flavorful, and the steamed veggies were done perfectly, not too soft, but not too crunchy. I went with level 3 of 4 for the spiciness, and it has a kick to it. The service was also great. They were very friendly, and my order was ready very quickly. I will definitely be back again soon.

Update: went back today and got the panang curry chicken, and was not disappointed. Excellent flavor, lots of big pieces of chicken, lots of peanuts, the green beans were very fresh, and the vegetables were cooked perfect, with a nice little snap. The heat was perfect too.

I love coming here. The food is delicious and fresh. The restaurant itself is cute and well maintained. The owners and staff are very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant and even say it’s the best Thai food in the area.

Best authentic Thai in PHX metro. They don't skimp on the ingredients especially the coconut milk or the tamarind paste. Portions are also large. Most other places I have had here are watered down and a disappointment.

Our favorite Thai restaurant-- spicing is always perfect, the fresh rolls always live up to their name, and the service is always excellent. Sublime!

La's Thai is a quiet hidden little gem in the Scottsdale area just off the 101 and Raintree. I first stopped in with a friend, and have been hooked ever since. Extremely friendly staff, willing to converse with you if time allows, or willing to leave you to your thoughts if you prefer.

The food is incredible, and well worth your time! I've been coming here almost ritually every Sunday or so it's to the point where I'd consider myself a regular. Truthfully I cannot say enough about the staff of either of the two locations. I'll continue to visit and eventually branch out from my orders to try the various dishes that are offered.

I would absolutely encourage anyone looking for a blissful and tantalizing meal to stop by if you find yourself in the area, or better yet make it a point to give a new restaurant a taste!

Thier Orange Chicken is the best in town. I've had it several dozen times and each time is like the first. I highly recommend it.

This is our fave Thai place in S'dale. Both the North location and the south location are excellent. The curries are awesome and the pad thai noodles rate with the best.

Food was awesome but the service was not the best. We were told to pick up our takeout and and it would be 1h and 30m and upon arrival we waited in the parking lot for an additional hour.

If you sometimes just want to chill, eat, and drink a couple of beers, then go to La's Thai Cuisine. The atmosphere there is relaxing and quiet, the food is delicious, and the prices are great! Two soups, some shrimp rolls, and a couple beers for only $34! (Before tips 😉)

We ordered three entree dishes, an appetizer and soup. Everuthing tasted great and the vegetables were fresh. Service was good but somewhat slow, probably because of the takeout orders demand. Overall a good place to enjoy good thai food. Will be back.

An unfortunate experience. I've been here once before and it wasn't much better. But this time was horrendous. I ordered the chicken pad Thai, however the chicken was rubbery like scallops, and smelled/tasted like cat food. After eating only the noodles, I became very sick ten minutes later and promptly had to go throw up. And let me tell you- I have a gut of steel. Obviously, I will not be returning.

La’s Thai is the best in town! The food is amazing and everyone is so kind <3 Would 11/10 recommend (especially the pad Thai and mango sticky rice)!!!
