Highly suggest you add Extra Chicken for ONLY $2 more as they will double the chicken content. I've NEVER had Pad Thai with more CHICKEN than this place and I've had it all over the USA. The sauce is a little unique and I'd give the pad Thai sauce 4 stars, but they offer extra sauce and the portion is huge so in the end I give it 5 stars. 1 meal = 2 meals for most.

You can definitely get better Pad Thai flavor elsewhere, but not the quantity of the chicken. So the value is 5 stars.

Khao Thai has a really nice combination of sushi and cooked food. Appetizers are fast and delicious. Sushi is cut well and plating is pretty to look at. Portions are good too for the price. Service is prompt and friendly. The sushi rolls have an interesting Thai influence. Ending the meal with Thai sticky rice is also nice.

Curry was decent. The pad Thai was disgusting. Service was terrible. I had to ask three times for them to refill my water. I am not sure if they were just having an off night but I probably won’t be back to find out.

Pretty Average. The drunken noodles and pork pot stickers were a 4. The sushi and crab wontons were a 2 - both VERY bland. Our normal go-to Thai place, Thai on Demand, is excellent but they were closed for the day so we thought we’d try Khao. Disappointing for $50.

my Thai beef came with rotting green bell peppers, y chewed and swallowed some of the juice. i returned the plate, which comes with a miso soup and a California roll. i was starving and ate the roll and soup while my party ate their food. instead of deleting the plate, i was charged 50% because i ate the miso$1.00 and the roll $8.00. none apologized and the waitress Said she took it off ... she didn't. if i get sick i know where it happened. don't go there, they Bare no responsibility for rotting food and will charge you if you are some of it. gross

This is a Japanese Thai fusion restaurant and little on the pricy side - meaning neither is done very well and it’s not a great value. I tried the spicy tuna wontons, chicken basil and the eggplant and shrimp curry.

Service is good, courteous and reasonably fast. The portion sizes were reasonable as well. But doesn’t really feel like a sushi place and I focused more on the Thai part. The dishes didn’t seem very traditional, but I don’t care about that I just need it to taste good and it was ok. But I certainly recommend trying it and see for yourself.

Very disappointed and shaken up by my recent visit here. I ordered the pad thai with NO peanuts- I have a severe allergy. The food arrived with the peanuts still on the side. While I removed them, I discovered leftover nuts in the food, which could have led to a life-threatening situation had I not noticed them. I informed the waitress of the error, and her lack of concern was alarming. It felt as if my safety wasn’t a priority to the restaurant.. who had negligently put my life at risk. While they offered to remake the dish, the whole incident left me with uneasy vibes. We paid for our other food and left. I am extremely disappointed- we are locals and have enjoyed our food here multiple times in the past 3 years. If you don’t have food allergies, it’s a decent place. Sad that we won’t be returning as long time customers.

Great local spot - Went there for the first time last night and the food was delicious. We ordered pad thai and the friendly roll (super yum!) I just moved to the area so I am glad there's a great spot in the neighborhood. Also seems like a family friendly spot so I will be bringing my kids back here. All great things to say! Double thumbs up.

I used to love their pad Thai and consistently ordered it and it was delicious. They changed the recipe about a month or two ago and now there is zero flavor, if anything there’s an odd taste to it. I will likely no longer order from here since that was my go to.

The food here is fantastic, I'll give them that, but for the prices they charge, I cannot say their food is THAT good. Their curry was also delicious, but again, expensive. Definitely go for their lunch deal if you can!

I've gone to this restaurant many times and the food is consistently delicious! They do Thai and sushi well which is great when I want a little sushi to go with a Thai order! I would highly recommend to anyone who is on the fence about going for the first time.

Khao has amazing sushi, Thai, and service. We have been there numerous times and it never disappoints. From the traditional offerings of Thai and rolls/sashimi, they also offer some pretty creative dishes such as a clever take on tacos in the appetizer section. Strong recommend!

The devil is in the details. I had the crab puffs, a sunrise roll and shrimp fried rice to go. The sushi came packed with ice, the crab puffs had a vent so they wouldn’t get soggy and the fried rice, lined with foil and it was steaming even after I arrived home.

WOWWWW!! We're celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary at a resort nearby, and just ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time. We are completely and utterly blown away by the flavor of everything we tried. The krab rolls--- I've never had a crab appetizer so delicious in my life, good god. I would've just eaten those if we'd ordered more. Thankfully we didn't, lol! My husband had the Pad Thai and I ordered Thom Ka soup. This is the best Thom Ka I've ever had! The Pad Thai is amazing, too. We're in love with this place. The only thing we would change is our desired spiciness-- we like hot foods, but we ordered it a bit too hot. My husband chose "hot" and I chose "medium". There were still like 5 levels above those choices, so I'd say choose your level of spicy with care.

They always have excellent service, food quality is always up to par, the atmosphere of the place is very welcoming, all the many dishes I’ve tried are always quite delicious and savory, the fact that you can optimize the spice levels three times over is really nice, I like how it is a mixture of both Japanese and Thai cuisine, all together an excellent place to dine it at anytime.

We had Spicy Tuna, the Rock Star Roll, Garlic Lover, Pineapple and Shrimp curry as well as Kaoh Soi with beef. We're avid Thai eaters from out of town and this is the benchmark going forward.

This spot hit the spot! We had appetizers and entrees. Everything was fresh and piping hot. Quality ingredients and quick service. Prices are reasonably priced.

This place is good, unequivocally good. Do not be thrown off by the Thai/Sushi fusion. They do amazing authentic Thai. The Thai flavors are amazing. The Sushi, fresh and amazing. The quality of the fish and the attention to the importance of the rice are spot on.

Eat here, they deserve all the business and success they can get.

Bsat Tom yum I've had since backpacking Thailand. Sushi was also great and normally don't reorder the same roll but was so impressed I had too! Great job. Had to wait on for a table and was happy to see its a busy spot for in dining and take away. I will for sure be back.

The service and friendliness is top notch for takeout, but the green curry was weak. The sauce was thin and lacked robust flavor. The vegetables were light and the the serving of brown rice was small.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent takeout meal from this restaurant the other evening. They took a food allergy very seriously and provided excellent service. The sushi was delicious and the Pad Thai was excellent. We will be back!

We were the only ones in the restaurant. I ordered shrimp panang and received chicken. Panang was made with peas and carrots-frozen instead of green beans and peppers as custom. The long Island ice tea tasted like lemon vodka and nothing else. Sushi was like by most at table. Nothing special about this place and food was so-so

We ordered dinner to-go, and it was fabulous. We'll try dining on the patio (hopefully) soon. Thom Ka soup and edamame + orange chicken and Khao Soi dinners -- completely rocked!

Excellent Pad Thai. Enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Sushi and Thai are a nice mix.

This restaurant is amazing!! Very comfortable and cozy outside patio with warm fireplace, very attentive and nice servers, and delicious food! We ordered the pork gyoza for appetizer, then sushi/sashimi combo and red tofu curry, which they made perfectly spicy (sometimes we order spicy, and it comes out mild, but this place was perfect). The sushi was insanely good, thick slices of fresh fish. Plus, the cocktails and beer were great too. We very much enjoyed our time here, and for all a reasonable price. Highly recommend going here for a romantic night out!

I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was really good and I liked that I could have sushi and Thai food in one restaurant. It was easy to tell what was gluten free as everything was marked as gluten free or not. It has a great outdoor dining space with a fireplace, making social distanced eating really enjoyable!Finally the servers were also very attentive and courteous.

This is a great little Thai place! We drive 45 minutes (past a pile of other Thai places) to come here. The drunken noodles, Khao edamame and calamari are our favorites although we have never had anything that wasn't delicious. The staff is friendly and the portions are large, everything always tastes so fresh. Keep up the great work Khao, see you soon!

Fantastic meal and pleasant service. We can’t wait to come back! The Spicy Tuna Wonton were tasty and mildly spicy. The Bangkok Crispy Calamari was our favorite appetizer though, with a light & crispy batter on tender calamari, accompanied by a sweet sauce with just a little kick. The Chicken Pad Thai and the Fried Rice with Shrimp were both wonderful. One of us got up at 2:30 am for leftover rice topped with fried eggs, the craving for more was irresistible. The Khao Ice Cream was a nice end to the meal; the peanuts and caramel complimented the pineapple coconut ice cream well. The restaurant was inviting and clean with a relaxing ambience nice for a date night.

Such a great spot to eat it's not that flashy but the food will dazzle your taste buds, thai food is balanced and the sushi is great you can't really go wrong with any of it ... Will definitely go back when I'm in AZ

You cannot find this restaurant when you drive by. It's located at the corner of the mall. Its cozy and small and waitresses were attentive and warm.
The lunch items come with a small salad but the salas was just some lettuce with some shreds of carrot and dressing that was too sweet. The green chicken was delicious though and completely enough for one hungry fella!
Looking forward to come around and try sushi here.

This is a hidden treasure that is worth looking for! Small but contemporary decor with food that pays attention to detail. Service was a little sparce but passable. Had 3 Thai dishes that were very traditionally prepared except that Pad Thai that was a little too saucy (American-style) but flavor was excellent and not excessively sweet.
