This is a small gem with delicious food and extremely warm and friendly service. We felt as though we were eating at a good friend's house. We could tell by observing the interactions with established customers that this establishment holds a special place in their hearts. If I was a Payson resident, I'd eat here all the time. Great dinner!!! We ordered the beef pho, garlic shrimp, and pad see ew and we ate all of it between 2 adults and 2 kids. The service was great. 10/10 will be back.

This was a strange night that made me do that symbolic clink, clink of my eyes in bewilderment.

I don't live here bit when traveling through as I do several times a year, I will be marking this place off. Why? Intolerant narrow-minded. For most of the night it was fine enough until the end and the waitress started talking negatively about humans and I get it. Humanity is becoming meaner and sowe let her bash humanity. It wasn't us, she was just talking about how it had been a long day and people were vampires. She said something we misunderstood. We thought she said she wanted to nest. Once we figured out what she really said, we laughed as she said some negative things able having children and being too old and I said jokingly, there are women who have had children late in life such as Sarah and Abraham. Didn't say Bible or God but then it got creepy and scary as she went on from giggling and laughing to anger about biblical religions and talking about her body, her choice and she'd never follow a biblical religion. So we just sat there until she quit and just left after paying. Nothing we were talking about was really about God or faith and she is the one who started the conversation about hating people and even going into the children topic deeply. Yeah, she was negative but I didn't care. I am friendly and figured she was mostly joking hating humans, but I guess not. She said she wasn't human. Again. Thought she was joking but she is definitely hostile to people of faith. Glad I didn't actually try to say something biblical or say something benign like God bless you.

Nice people having trouble staffing front of the house. The food however is Very Good. I recommend it for folks who aren't Bashful... I holler at em when I come in so they know I'm there and they go Chop chop awesome food actually. Homemade Chile Oil over best prepared rice. The rice comes out Perfect. Believe me not sticky quality meat for a Strip mall Asian meal it's good food.

I love love love the food here. The service is very lacking at one my point while I was trying to decide on what to eat, the waitress stood staring at me before I had to tell her I wasn't ready. The atmosphere is also lacking but at the same time I love that the owner will come out and give recommendations on the food and tell us to come back soon. I'm passionate about supporting local businesses and I would love to see this one thrive. Their food is amazing hopefully they get a makeover and create a unique atmosphere as good as their food.

Incredible Thai food that I keep coming back for.

My online order was ready on time and that's the only good thing about my experience. The honey chicken appeared to be store bought with a side container on honey, about a tablespoon, not coated with thick flavorful honey. The broccoli beef might appeal to a lumberjack but everything was so huge I needed a knife to cut it down to fit my mouth. I didn't want the two sides of white rice and still paid the full and overpriced cost. I ordered the special house fried rice and again had to cut the chicken and beef they threw in it. The 3 jumbo shrimps were overcooked and there were several clumps of the white rice. I believe oriental food should have a delicate presentation and felt this food was just thrown on a plate. Glad I didn't have to eat there because the place doesn't smell like they're cooking anything. And with the $50 tab, I didn't get even one fortune cookie! Definitely won't be going back and wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.

Waitress disappeared after dropping food at the table. Went to back room & hollered, nobody came. Waites a few minutes, tried calling the restaurant from the table, no answer. Went all the way back to kitchen hollering & finally got someone. All we needed was sauce. Waitress didnt reappear until she brought the check.

I was in town for work, I ate here almost every day for a week. I must have had all the curry dishes, all delicious, and the spring rolls are great. The lady that runs the place works her ass off!!

Great place! We walked in 25 minutes before closing and the lady was so nice and the food was amazing. Her hospitality is beyond words. She even changed the tv channel for my 20 month old to watch Bluey so we can eat lol. This place is a must!!!!

Tables are really close and it's a small place.. but, don't let that stop you from eating here at least once. Whether you take it to go or stay in and eat, the food is good. And the thai tea is amazing!

The food was fresh and delicious! We had egg rolls, house lo mein, and general Tao’s chicken. We went at 3pm and were a little nervous how the quality would be because the place was empty. Everything was made fresh while we were there. The plates of food were steaming hot and generous servings. The breaded chicken wasn’t prepackaged, you could tell the batter was handmade and fried just before serving it. The chicken and beef in the house lo mein was thin and very tender. The owner came and visited with us to see how the food was when we were paying. I love supporting small businesses. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The staff is amazing and they are sure to always make their guests feel special. They offer a Gereral Tso’s chicken that is sure to wow your taste buds! They are more of a mom and pop atmosphere so don’t be in a hurry and enjoy the heartfelt atmosphere. Know that on a busy night things might take a while however with their unique style and heart felt hand touches you can’t go wrong.

Absolutely amazing as always. Our waitress, Ruthanne, was super attentive, and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted, as always. The dishes tasted authentic. I spent 20 years working closely with Thais, the cook came out of the kitchen to talk with me about peppers and chili's and different levels of spice, promptly told me if I wanted hotter to request fresh spices and brought me some fresh Thai chili peppers. The dish was amazing before, with the addition of fresh peppers. It was out of this world. This is a place you want to eat and want to visit. The staff, cooks, owners are exceptional and super friendly. Please support them. And be sure to try their Tom Kha soup.

Update: 5th visit tonight... Spectacular! My go-to for Thai & Chinese on the Rim / Mountain. Not overly sweet, unlike many others. Tasty & authentic, (the owner / chef is native Thai).

But this place defied all of our stereotypes and expectations.. please do NOT judge a book by its cover because even in small town Payson, this Thai and Chinese food is legit! Family owned by a Thai Asian family. The owner took her time to give us samples of sauces, talk with us, give insight on the menu, and the staff was incredibly friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the food. Also, I’m not even a huge fan of Thai food but I will be stopping here EVERY TIME I am in Payson. Love it!!!!!!

We heard good things about this charming little place. Our first and only experience was not a good one. Upon entering, we could find no employees present. After waiting awhile, we chose to seat ourselves, and I went to the counter to get menus for us. During the next 20 minutes or so, a very busy server finally came out with some orders for the table next to us. She probably passed by us 6 times, and never made eye contact, never said a word to us. No acknowledgement whatsoever. A kitchen server also made several trips out with food. Never said anything to us. The cashier also emerged from the kitchen area with a baby, and proceded to sit behind the counter. Never said a word to anyone. So, we decided to simply leave. As we picked up to go, the server offered her apologies. If only she had acknowledged us just once, we likely would have stayed. It is a tiny place, and only a few employees. So, we understand that things take a bit longer. But...
Update: This second try, we ordered our food by phone, and picked it up, thus avoiding another possible disappointment! Food was very good! The people there were very nice! Further update: still ordering take out food from this restaurant! The food is very good! Very pleasant staff!

BEST RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN. My dad and I are roadtripping and stopped for a bite. The service was incredible and fast. The staff was so sweet and made sure that your food tastes good. The food, I’m speechless. My dad got the chk lo mein and he said that’s the best lo mein he’s ever had. And I got the sweet and sour tofu and it was amazing. So authentic and delicious. They really do treat any customer that comes in as family. If we had this restaurant in our area, it would be a weekly dinner spot.

I don’t really understand the good reviews. We ordered online and then showed up to pick it up and the lady at the counter was very frantic. She asked if we liked ordering online and we said yes and then she asked that we not do it again (?? lol). I ordered orange chicken and while the chicken itself was good, the sauce came on the side and was the tiniest thing of sauce ever. Was enough for maybe a quarter of the portion. We had asked for a side of sweet and sour sauce and didn’t get it. Overall was disappointed.

It's no fine dining restaurant but instead a small little family on joint with some really good food. If you're passing through or just looking for some great food I highly recommend this place. Their egg drop soup is absolutely phenomenal which is an odd thing to say about egg drop soup because it's so simple but they do something to theirs that makes an amazing. The food is absolutely great, lt tastes like proper ethnic cuisine, the staff is quick to get anything you need. The yellow curry is earthy, smokey and fragrant, the pad Thai has the right taste, and the chicken satay comes with yellow curry so it's nice and tender and it's a nice little extra that they add on.

Got 2 orders of Sweet and Sour Chicken. It's great! For a hole in the wall restaurant, it's darn good! Say "hi" to Ruthanne.

I only get to eat here about twice a year on my way through the state, but it is such a treat every time! absolutely love the crab sticks, rangoons, an the honey chicken. I wish I could eat it all the time

Once I arrived to this location and walked in, I was greeted by a nice older lady she let us sit down wherever we wanted the atmosphere itself was very comfortable and felt like if we where inside a living room at home we ordered a few items from the menu which include of soup Tom yum soup with a side order of white Rice rating that on a scale from 1-5 was a 4 it was packed full of flavors and tasted Fresh! We also had the Mongolian beef with the side of white rice wich wasn’t to bad but definitely not the best! If I where to rate that I don’t want to scale from 1-5 it would come in at a 3 we also had orange chicken with a side of fried rice and if I where to rate that from 1-5 that would definitely come in at a 1 we also got a appetizer of crab cream cheese, Ragoons that come in at a 1 from a scale out of 1-5 I’m

On a bad day but the food over all was not the best however I do see allot of potential in the establishment! Because the food does not like flavor, it just taste like they made it the day before, and placed it in the microwave and the service is really good and the atmosphere looks very clean! This is my favorite Asian restaurant to go to in Payson. Great customer service and amazingly delicious food (in my opinion, of course). All the food I've tried here was delicious but my top favorites would be the Mongolian Beef and Pad Kapao Chicken❤️. It's good every single time. Both my boyfriend and my mom enjoy the food here. We always look forward to coming here because we know the food is gonna be good and I can't wait to come back here again!

Affectionately known as "Red Door" by local customers, the Chinese and Thai is the second best place to eat in Payson after Duza's only.
The service is incredibly friendly and genuine. Dine in or take out, Red Door is always my favorite.

Best Thai food I have had in YEARS. Truly authentic. Tastes like home cooking. Would 100% recommend. The service was amazing as well. Truly made my day.

Overall, the food was pretty good. I had Shrimp Pad Kratiem, which had huge tasty shrimp and fresh, tender-crisp veggies. Others in our group had Chicken Pad Thai, which was tasty, on the sweeter side, with AMAZINGLY flavored chicken, and Orange Chicken, which was just okay. I’m thinking the Thai food here might be a better choice than the Chinese food. We’ll be back to try more dishes since the staff were very sweet, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small as well as the kitchen, so don’t come here or order take-out when you’re pressed for time!

We had Tom Yum and Cashew chicken. It was the freshest and most flavorful Thai food Ive ever tasted.

We came up specifically for their Tom Yum soup and live 2 1/2 hours away! If that doesn't tell you how fresh and flavorful the food is, I don't know what will!

No atmosphere. We usually do take out. The owner is usually the one cooking all the time. She is a widow, and a hard worker. She is Thai, and her food never disappoints. Try the yellow curry chicken or any of her soups. Naturally her Padthai is outstanding. Not soupy or watery. Be sure if you don’t like hot, tell them so it’s not too spicy hot. You won’t be disappointed.

I feel bad giving a low rating and a bad review to an independent restaurant but it is what it is.
I Ordered the “Orange” Chicken. The only thing orange was the color. Normally orange chicken is covered in an sweet orange flavored glaze. Like I said it was colored orange but it was not the normal glaze and did not taste good, yuck. My wife said the Chicken Lo Mein “was not good.” The Beef Broccoli was ok but not great. I cannot recommend eating here, sorry. The fact that there was not one single person dining inside tells the tale. Unfortunately I had ordered take out over the phone.

Good food (not great), service was a little confused (think I was there at shift change), but still fairly rapid. Not really much atmosphere, but it didn't bother me. I will go back

The Mongolian beef was the best I have had in many years. Served with white rice and the Thai hot spicy chile tray.

The beef was a mix of white and green onion with a hint of thai spice and soy.
This mixture was absolutely delicious with a bit of heat and a sweet finish.

The only thing I was missing was more... The portion was a bit small maybe due to being at lunch time.

wife and I love this place; we really appreciate the owner, who works hard to get out and poll patrons as they eat, see how it's going; she is the chef usually as well. I love the Pad Thai, and the curries are great. My wife likes to ask for things like Red Curry with fish; and they don't usually make it with fish. But they did for her. Fish curry was great. 5 stars. The menu can be a little hard to navigate; this place is casual, and friendly.

The lady working at the counter (Ruthie) was so kind to myself and my coworker. She saw that we were firefighters and made us feel super welcome. The food reminded me of the stuff I get back home, on the Oregon coast. The sauce for the General Tao's chicken was pleasantly less sweet than most and the fried rice was tasty.

The restaurant is simple, the food is really good!

I came in to get 3 meals for us night workers.
There was no plastic or paper.
We had to eat with our fingers.
The person with the fried rice dumped it in the trash.
The fried rice was wet and soggy.
The other 2 meals about the same.

The food was awful. Crab rangoons were ok, spring roll was ok, egg rolls were crispy but had a mild taste of dish soap. The orange chicken had no orange in it accept the color & tasted of fish & my pad see ewe tasted like mold. We'll never eat here again. Very disappointed especially for $50

Such a great place to eat, the place is so inviting and the staff is great. The owner is such a sweetheart, almost felt like my own mom was cooking for us. She made us feel comfortable and chatted with us about her food. You can see the passion and love. The food was delicious. Will be coming back anytime if I’m Payson.

I had the Massaman Curry with chicken and a side of white rice. The curry is just what I expected. Rich with flavor, subtly tangy, sweet, with a thick texture. The curry paste, veggies, & your choice of protein are served in a perfect balance. In my experience, other restaurants have overloaded the bowl with veggies. Not this Cheff - she is generous with her paste & protein. The chicken was tender & delicious. The owner was very kind & attentive. The atmosphere was clean, homey & comfortable. The staff is friendly & very efficient. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and the most wonderful people- you won’t regret it. I had the red curry, and shrimp. Both dishes delicious! Packed with flavor, exactly what I was hoping for!
