Unassuming restaurant with a homey vibe offering noodle dishes, curries & other Thai standards.
This place was great! Ordered the choo chee rainbow fish trout, but they ran out of rainbow trout so owner gave me a large sea bass instead. Tasted amazing! Sauce was fragrant from the herbs, exterior was nice and crispy, and sauce had the right amount of spicy kick. Atmosphere inside the restaurant was also cozy.
Yes 5 Star.. I am not a Thai food pro but this has to be it! A real grand adventure of flavors! Chef Tom was informative, Friendly, and laid back. Never a rush here. A cornucopia of brillant fresh foods and flavors to satisfy anyone. Crispy wings in a decadently delectable sauce. Rice or Noodle dishes, soups of all kinds. Saturate your senses with regular, med., spicey, or be more daring! Whether you are alone, with friends or family of all ages. Cafe De Bangkok is a true dining experience!
My husband & I used to go here years ago when it was Mint Thai. Then we moved to a different area of the East Valley. I was looking for somewhere fun to eat today & came across Café de Bangkok. We were curious to see how it had changed with its new ownership, so we hopped in the car & went. Let me tell you that it was worth the drive! The physical space itself has been completely transformed into something clean, calm and beautiful. Quiet instrumental music plays in the background. The wait staff was courteous & efficient. Now the star of this review…the food! We started with salad rolls with shrimp & they were so delicious! My husband ordered the Arizona Waterfall & I ordered Pad Se Ew with Shrimp. Everything was wonderful and the presentation for all three dishes was beautiful! If you enjoy Thai food as much as we do, stop by for a worthwhile food experience!!
Tucked away in the unassuming desert sprawl of Gilbert, AZ, Café De Bangkok is like that favorite playlist you didn’t know you needed until you hit play. One visit, and you’re immediately reminded why Thai food belongs at the top of your comfort-food hierarchy.
Take, for example, the Khao Soi — a bowl that feels like a warm hug from a faraway friend, topped with crispy noodles for a welcome crunch and delicate spice that lingers like a plot twist in a thriller. The rich, coconut broth gently invites you in, while hints of lime and red onion remind you why food can be both an adventure and a comfort all at once. It's a dish that almost demands an encore.
The decor may be simple, but it’s the flavors that speak volumes. Cafe De Bangkok doesn’t just serve meals; it delivers moments. Whether you’re a heat seeker or after a more mellow vibe, this spot has you covered. Just be prepared to fend off a food coma afterward — you’ve been warned.
Great food and Great Service.
Best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The owner and Chef Tom personally came out and educated us. This food is very healthy, healing, and high quality.
Authentic Thai, we have traveled to Thailand and the food here was amazing as well as the service! Will definitely go back!!!
The service and the food is amazing!
FLAVOR-FLAVOR-FLAVOR!!! I am BEYOND happy we decided to try this place on Valentine’s Day! I ordered the M7 Khao Soi. It was a flavor bomb comprised of Thai curry, ramen, chicken, crispy noodles, lime….just delicious! I can’t wait to go back. My husband had a friend chicken dish that gave such robust flavors, we both had to take a second and really appreciate the balance of low heat, lime, and other deliciousness! Please do yourself a favor and try it! Some of the best Thai I have ever had!
Fun little place with excellent food
The BEST Thai food my husband and I have ever had. We really appreciate the options of organic tofu and veggies! Great service also.
Food/service/quality all 12/10. Actual authentic Thai food made with quality ingredients. Owner is very passionate about his food and not taking any short cuts. Will definitely be back.
-your local Asian
We’re huge Thai food lovers and this is the best Thai food we’ve ever had (outside of Thailand!) We had the penang and massaman curries and they were so flavorful. The owner was so friendly and kind!
So good! We are always searching by for the best Thai food and this might be the best in AZ we’ve had! So flavorful (which is usually my complaint at other locations. Drunken noodles, beef fried rice, pad Thai, panang and massaman curries were all wonderful.
Smaller portions than in the past, prices have also increased not a good combo. Pad see ew was great like always. Jumbo fried rice only had one shrimp. Also received a cashew chicken entree without cashews. Pretty disappointed I have been coming here for years, but lately they have not been providing a quality product.
The food is fresh. The food is bright. The texture of the food was very good. The presentation of the food was good. The staff is very friendly. The only small issue was that the main course for a group of 4 did not come out together on a busy night. Seemed to be slightly understaffed. Overall, it was very good, and I would return.
The food was incredible. Perfectly balanced and extremely full of flavor. The food really could not have been better.
Good pad see ew. My wife had the tofu pad thai, i believe. We were both satisfied with our meals.
Man I love this place but lately the portions have been getting very small.
The prices are the sameish but the last 3 times we have eaten here we have been very disappointed on ratios.
We got the Khao Soy 2 times and each barely had any noodles and then we got Penang Curry and there was barely any vegetables in it, just some chicken and broth.
Great food but hope this isn’t the new normal
We ordered some Take out tonight and the foods are cold and way too sweet. The Pad Thai in particular. All the seafoods in Tom Yum Ramen and Tom Yum Kung soup are not fresh and have more chicken meat than seafood in the Ramen. They even forgot the Thai ice tea in our order but still charged us
Definitely not come back 😒
Great thai food for flavor. Service was a bit slow that night. Sampler came after our meal, when it was supposed to come first.
When we were in southern Thailand earlier this year I fell in love with the way they made cashew chicken. I have tried finding it here but I could not even get close until today when I went to Cafe de Bangkok! Hands down the best I have ever eaten. Portions for lunch are good sized. Flavors were amazing. Husband got the red curry and loved it. We will be back!
Authentic Thai food
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Every dish is mouth-watering delcious.

The food here is so amazing! Highly recommend the khao soi and the larb wings!
We went on a Friday night and they seemed super busy and it took awhile to get our food, but it didn't bother us! It was worth the wait. Have some patience and support this amazing place! Definitely coming back as a regular.
Definitely ur favorite Thai food !! Food delicious and we love the the chef is talking orders and giving us advice about the food that we’re ordering!! Love it 🥰
This place is amazing ! The food the service was excellent , it is beautiful on the inside , like a hidden gem
I was a little skeptical because we loved Mint Thai and were sad when they closed.
Finally decided to give Cafe de Bankok a try and I'm so glad we did! The food is amazing and customer service is exceptional. Love this place.
Went during lunch, and staff took time to point out favorites and explain meals. I had there number 8 lunch combo which includes small appetizer and drink. All at our table agreed food was very tasty. Would recommend.
AMAZINGLY GREAT THAI FOOD. Wow. Fresh and so authentic… and even awarded by the Thai government as being authentic Excellent service as well. Now we have another reason to come to Arizona often besides Just being with family

It’s clean, the service is GREAT, food is unbelievable. I highly recommend the Curry!! The chef spoke with us, I wanted to know what is different about this curry and he shared his process with us. Truly remarkable experience and very flavorful food.
I definitely recommend and will absolutely return.
Food are very yummy! Had a very nice experience at this restaurant. Very good customer service
Have had two meals from this place this year. The food I ordered was mediocre on both visits.
Just dined their the first time. We loved Mint Thsi but this place is even better. Everyone was raving. Best Thai in my life. Sure hope I make it to Thailand. This feels so authentic. Also, owner and other staff are so personable. Will be going frequently.
The Sunday Buffet with reservation is a “ must” if you love traditional Thai food!
Penang curry was fantastic! Would absolutely eat here again.
Amazing food, amazing staff, and love coming here. Just celebrated my wife's 40th birthday, and the food service was out of this world.
We took a chance on this place because of the Google reviews and it paid off! Best Thai food I have eaten in years. Clean. So friendly! Quick service! We ordered four dishes and they were all excellent! Definitely coming back!
Food was delicious and the service was great! The place seems a bit sketchy when you drive up and walk in, but once you're all the way in, it's great!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants. I'd eat here once a week if I could. Service is prompt and attentive. The yellow curry is perfect.
My favorite Thai restaurant in Phoenix.
Good Thai food, good range of spice levels! Definitely beats the other Thai places nearby! Pad Thai is definitely a go-to, the fried rice is incredible, and the garlic pepper beef is also a favorite of ours!
Food is great but not enough staffs.
My husband & I used to go here years ago when it was Mint Thai. Then we moved to a different area of the East Valley. I was looking for somewhere fun to eat today & came across Café de Bangkok. Great food!
Every dish we got was amazing. Definitely recommending and coming back again.
Food is absolutely the best test , good service Mr.Tom who's owner very Friendly, Mr,Joe who's front service recommended me to Cafe's de Bangkok -Gilbert ,I will comeback See you again Jean.
Great place one of the best Thai restaurants!
Amazing delicious authentic Thai food. The employees are so nice and feels like family. I think this is the only place in AZ currently that has Yen Ta Fo, try it! The egg wrapped Pad Thai is also amazing. Spacious area and good for any authentic Thai food lovers.
Nice atmosphere. The kao soi was really good. The specialty items are a bit pricey, but otherwise affordable.
Authentic Thai! Everything we order here is delicious. Waitress Vicky is wonderful. Love it!
Be aware of their 18% “mandatory” large party of five and over fee, we split the bill between 3, and all of us were charged their fee! Food is still really good.
Was sat an hour and a half before close, server never came and then 25 minutes later once he appears he says the kitchen is closed and we can only order "stir fry". Wasted our entire night as we sat there and everywhere else was closed by the time we left. Horrible service
Great food. Just moved my son here and this place is close by.
My favorite Thai place in Gilbert. One of the employees who I think is one of the owners is so sweet and always greets me with a ‘nice to see you’. Their pad thai is some of the best I’ve ever had the same with their Thai tea
Love this place. By far my favorite Thai food in the valley. I really enjoy Thai food and have eaten at some good restaurants but this place is just on another level. The way they prepare their dishes just hits different, in the best way. It's not the cheapest, but I definitely feel you get what you pay for here in proportions and quality. The service is always great, friendly faces and attentive staff. The atmosphere is typical for a sit down restaurant. Some wear and tear on the furniture but the overall warmth more than makes up for it. I would hands down send anyone who's a fan of Thai food their way. Have been back multiple times and will continue to do so.
This restaurant is absolutely fabulous. My first time here, I had their Massaman Curry. It was the best I've ever had. Very authentic taste of Thailand and how curry should taste like. Can't wait to try other items on their menu. I will definitely be coming back.
Amazing food every single time!! The owners are friendly and welcoming.
Curry is delicious, one of the best I've tasted. Can't say much for Pad Thai though, seemed dry and flavorless. Lunch special is a good deal, comes with drink, appetizer, rice, soup and entree.
Without a doubt this place stands way above any Thai restaurant I've visited.
From the time we walked in from a friendly greeting from the owner to the meal to leaving where the owner made sure our visit met all our needs. He explained how important it is when cooking. He ensures he uses the highest quality ingredients that his mother enforced in him and trust me the meal showed he follows those values.
The food exceeded anything I've tasted, the vibrant flavors and aroma that jelled were amazing, presentation was excellent and the service from the owners wife and Vicki was A+.
Well worth the drive and we will be a regular to this restaurant.
Loved the food here, everything we tried was delicious. Must visit if you are in the area.
Café de Bangkok makes wonderful food. And the people who l work there are awesome. The owner remembers us when we go in and always makes us feel very welcome. Wonderful place. We have dined in and also done take out when we feel like just chilling at home.
ALSO, we had a special event there and they did a buffet with certain favorites. It was wonderful. Everyone loved it.
Khao soi is one I’d my favorites - sometimes with chicken. Sometimes i just ask for it with veggies. Depends of my mood.
The appetizer with multiple different things to try is wonderful, too.
Truly a place you must try.
Awesome spot for Thai food! Ambience, price and portion size were all on point. My one critique is that every dish, we ordered 3 plus an appetizer, was a little sweeter than I'd like but other than that it was fantastic and id certainly be back. You'll get a plethora of food that will leave your belly full. A far better value and much tastier than some of other hip trendy Thai places that have popped up in recent years.
Wow very good Thai spot. Fresh and delicious, great service and kind staff.
Never knew this place was here. The food was delicious. Will be a staple every time we go to Sam's Club!
Love the atmosphere!! It’s got cool decor like the art and figures. Staff was attentive and fast! The pad Thai hor khai is crazy good! Definitely 1 of the best Thai foods I found
We started off with the coconut shrimp app. Seemed to be commercially prepared, not fresh on-site. Shrimp were butterflied and pressed flat. Tough and too chewy. Dry. The coconut flavor was overpowering. Whatever shrimp flavor there may have been was overpowered. Would not do this app again. My entree was the eggplant chicken stir fry. Exceptionally tasty. Loaded with pulled chicken. Fresh basil. The eggplant slices with skin-on were crispy and flavorful. Delicious dish. Large portion. My wife had the duck with noodles. Also outstanding. Huge portion. Lots of juicy duck breast slices. Service - well, depends on who was serving us. Our employee-server came by often to check on us. Friendly and cheerful. The owner, all business. There were just the two of them handing the entire room so they were smashed with taking care of business, but again, the owner was a bit gruff but we get it. We didn’t take offense. The place needs tidying up. Not a good feel when you walk in and are waiting to be greeted when you see boxes and materials and such on the floor here and there and next to the check in counter. If you go for the food and the value and look past the small stuff, you’ll enjoy Cafe de Bangkok.
Cafe De Bangkok - Gilbert
What an awesome spot for some authentic food. I had #50 Kua Gai number 4 hot (#5 here is Thai hot) for me…perfect. The taste was amazing! So flavorful, hearty and spiced just right. Lots of chicken and not too many noodles…just right. Enjoyed hearing people around us commenting on how good the food was as the servers checked on them.
Give this place a try. Whenever we go to SAM’s Club, this will be the stop just before. You will enjoy their food.
As we say in Puerto Rico…buen provecho 😋
This is the Best.
You know it's good when your take out order makes them question if you're having a party, when really it's just you and your spouse hungry!
The food here is VERY GOOD! Honestly, my only criteria for good Thai food is green curry because I love it so much, and it's very good here.
We ordered for pick up, and the interior is clean and spacious. There is lots of parking outside as well.
Our dinner:
Green curry, mild spice with chicken
Friend spring rolls
Pad Kee Mao with pork, no spice
Pad See Ew with chicken, no spice
And Jumbo fried rice
Thai food is generally expensive so we spent a pretty penny here, but so worth it!
Food was very good! I asked for extra peanuts and lime and didn’t get it which was disappointing, but it was delicious nonetheless.
Always excellent food here! Yellow curry, and pad see iew are some of our favorites. Service is friendly. This restaurant gets pretty busy at dinner time so plan accordingly. Decor and atmosphere is a little dated and could be upgraded. Prices are a little high, especially for the curry. Although the curry is absolutely delicious, we’ve always gotten more broth than meat and veggies. For $18 I’d expect more. Most of the time when we say medium heat, it’s right on, but others it can be pretty spicy. Mild sometime taste like medium.
All in all, the food is delicious! I would definitely recommend coming here.
The dining experience was initially satisfying, with commendable food quality and attentive service on a Sunday afternoon. However, the atmosphere soured dramatically during payment. Despite being a group of three adults, one 10-year-old, and a peacefully sleeping baby, we were perplexed to find a gratuity on our bill typically enforced for larger parties of five or more. Upon raising this with our waitress, she repetitively questioned our preference to have it removed, a request we made with the intention to tip independently. The meal, costing $73, was overshadowed by a $15 added gratuity.
The situation escalated when the waitress vocally involved another staff member to remove the charge, unnecessarily drawing attention in an otherwise empty restaurant. Her insistence on the triviality of the gratuity amount, despite our clear wishes, turned a simple request into an uncomfortable confrontation.
The incident took an even more unacceptable turn when, upon settling the bill, the waitress inquired about our duration of residency in the U.S., a question both irrelevant and offensive. This final breach of decorum compelled me to leave immediately after signing the check.
This experience was marred by unprofessional behavior, transforming what could have been a pleasant outing into a regrettable ordeal. Despite the quality of the food and the initial service, the encounter with such discourteous and unethical staff behavior has firmly dissuaded us from ever returning. It's disheartening to endure such treatment, a stark contrast to the hospitality one would expect.
This incident left a lasting negative impression, ensuring we will not revisit.
Great service, delicious food! Everything was great. Will be back! ☆☆☆☆☆ Great job Vicky...our server. 👏
I usually get take out. Love the food here. They have great seafood dishes. I recently had the Seafood Cha and the Arizona Waterfall. Both excellent. I have had many dishes here. All excellent.
This is a fantastic spot for Thai food, just stop! The portions were very fair, fresh ingredients and really good spice!! We had a few chicken dishes, garlic beef, and fried rice. The pork rolls were really delicious as well!!
The menu is extensive and full of a ton of options, come hungry!!
Best curry! Hands down the yummiest curry I’ve ever had. Never been to Thailand but I was told they import their coconut milk to have such great flavor.
Pad Thai is also great. We will be coming back a lot I think.
Updated review: we love the massaman and yellow curry. The fresh rolls are HUGE! (2) with peanut and sweet sauce. We also regularly get the sweet sticky rice with mango on top for a nice guilt free dessert.
The proprietors bring their culture to you on a plate! Outstanding.
Their fresh rolls and pineapple curry are to DIE for!
This place is amazing! We had the early bird special with Penang curry and Green curry. Everything was amazing. We’re so happy to find this gem in our area. We will be back!
Servers are friendly and happy
Food always awesome
If you like authentic Thai food, this is your place. Large helpings from a large menu and seasoned to your taste, mild to Thai hot! A quiet venue so conversation is easy.
I finally tried the secret menu of betel leaves crab curry. It's so delicious 😋
Really really great authentic Thai food and curry it was just ridiculously good and the family that owns it are really good people
Had a really good lunch special......owner greeted us, very friendly.
Get the Rama beef. Medium is very spicy so go less. Dinner prices are too high for the amount of food they bring. The food was great though.
A bit disappointed if I'm honest. Ordered the red curry lunch special and it was the oddest curries I've ever had. It wasn't terrible, just totally different from any other curry I've had before. Looked a bit greasy, and lacked the flavor I was expecting. Unfortunately, I also bit into a small piece of chicken bone which is never desirable and I'm glad I was able to recover it before swallowing. Seemed like they get a decent flow of customers so they must be doing something right. Hopefully my experience was just a one-off.
The curry had so much flavor! After eating here, I feel like I have been cooking it wrong my entire life. Absolutely the best curry I have ever tasted.
This is the best Thai restaurant in the Phoenix area!
This restaurant is a good Thai restaurant with all the Thai staples we have come to know and love. Their decor is very interesting and inspiring. It really draws you in from the moment you enter the door. The lobby has cool figurines to view and has a very nice aroma wafting from the kitchen.
I wanted to try something different. I tried their Pad See Ew with beef and was pleasantly surprised by the combination of saltiness and sweetness that the dish presented and I added in the cabbage and carrots for an added fresh crunchiness to the dish. Very tasty and for a medium hot it was not very hot. I would say if you really like spicy then go 4 or 5 on the scale.
Then we come to the Tom Kha soup which was good but not my favorite. There is a small kitchen outside of Portland Community College near their NE PORTLAND campus that gives you a free Tom kha as an accoutrement while you read over the menu.
Lastly, the mango sticky rice was delicious. Mango was just ripe and the sauce was good and not too much added so the rice still shown through.
Overall the food was very good. I had it for take out and it took 30+ minutes to make. While this seems like a slow kitchen to me, overall it was worth it. The only reason I put service as 4 stars was the speed of the kitchen. Everything else was amazing.
Thank you cafe de Bangkok
Green curry is good here
Dine-in experience was amazing! Lovely ambience, basil fried rice (medium heat🌶️) was so GOOD. I can’t wait to go back!
Excellent food, I will be back.
Such a lovely atmosphere. The service, the workers were all wonderful. So happy to find a close Thai restaurant here in Gilbert. The decorations in the restaurant were beautiful and food presentation was pleasant. I will be coming here more for great authentic Thai food and will be telling all my friends and family about it as well. :)
The food is fantastic and the employees are so friendly!
I eat from this place at least once a month and normally have no issues. I will never go there again after my experience tonight however.
I placed a togo order of 3 items, a pad thai, curry dish, and cream cheese wontons. When I got home and unpacked my bag, I noticed they forgot the white rice that goes with the curry. No big deal right? Wrong, apparently. When I called the restaurant, the lady insisted that they put it in the bag. As I was staring at the unpacked bag in front of me, I assured the lady on the phone that no, I am looking at everything, and it was not in the bag. Whatever. So, I head back to the restaurant to get my white rice, and again the lady tells me that not only did they put it in the bag, but they HAVE ME ON CAMERA carrying the bag that shows the white rice in it. I asked her to show me a picture or video clip showing that I have the white rice, and they refused. Cafe de Bangkok - if you choose to respond to this review, I challenge you to post the supposed footage of me with my phantom white rice. Please, make me look silly. The funny part is after all this, the rice wasn't even fresh.
All this over a free side of white rice? Checking my credit card account summary, I spent nearly 600 dollars at this place last year. I don't care how good the food is, after this experience I swear I will never come back. Filter the reviews by star rating. From the low star reviews you can see that the people that run this place have a pretty bad attitude problem and are not able to handle any criticism or inconvenience.
Be better.
Amazing. The service was very friendly, the ambiance was very nice and the food was incredible. Highly recommend putting Café de Bangkok on your list of places to visit if you're in Phoenix
We had the best experience here. We had a party of seven and the service was very attentive to our big group. And I believe it was the owner that came to our table and was so knowledgeable and gave us such great suggestions on what food to order and what we might like. The Tom Kha Gai soup is one of the best we've ever had. I got the Khao Soi, I've only seen it at one other Thai food restaurant. It was so good. I'm definitely coming back.
Food was amazing, menus are numbered which was really helpful. Staff was fantastic 11/10 would go again.
Tried this place for the first time today and will definitely be back. The lunch special comes with the soup of the day. It was Tom Yum Goong soup. It might have been the best cup of soup I’ve ever had. Savory, slightly spicy, with a complexity of flavors. The Thai Fried Rice with tofu was fantastic; best I have had in the Phoenix area. The Pad Makeur Yao (eggplant dish) with tofu was also very good. My husband also liked his curry. The Thai fried rice and soup were the stars of the show though.
Delicious food and the owner is the nicest man!
Looking for Thai food, this is the place. So far, this place has never disappointed. Everything tastes excellent and it is a bit different than other Thai places. Loved the following: Combo Appetizer $18.95, Mongolian Beef $15.95, Panang Neur $17.95, Khao Soi $15.95
I am Thai, and this place is the closest to how my mom would make Thai food. Delicious 😋
This hole in the wall place was recommended by my friends and I love them for introducing me to this restaurant. It's a family owned restaurant where the man takes care of the guests and billing and his wife is in the kitchen. They that had a hard time during Covid as they opened just a month before it struck.
There is ample parking and seating inside the restaurant even if you come in a large group.
The service is kind of slow as it's kind of understaffed but you can plan your visit ahead of time and the food is absolutely worth waiting for!
I have been here twice already and tried the veggie curry (the owner was sweet for adding in tofu for me) and the khao soo with tofu. I'm a fan on the khao soi. Even while I'm writing this review I'm salivating! The Thai tea was the usual with really attractive presentation.
It's a little far from where I live in south chandler but I don't mind the drive.
1st time here. Great tasting food with big portions. Many dishes to choose from
First time trying this restaurant and it is amazing! Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. We had the fresh rolls, Khao Soi, Panang Beef Brisket curry, and the Gang Massaman Cury. It was all delicious! My favorite is the Khao Soi. Owner is super nice and friendly too!
Except for the service, everything else is amazing. The food tasted very very good. Khao soi, basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice and massaman curry were all super delicious. They had 2 servers serving like 40 people and the service was super slow. I would suggest you order beforehand and commit to a Togo or just ask them to prepare dishes before you go to the restaurant.
Well a quick night out lead to asking where do you find really good Pho 🍜
Well finally we have found our go to spot, they hit it out the park 5/5 on the pho
I asked for spicy and man did they deliver
We also ordered the fried rice… I would have to say this they missed on it a little bit 3/5
Fried wontons the wife said 5/5
All in all we will return for those rainy day desires for Pho.
And I will be recommending them as well to others
Top Notch
Great food but the service needs improvement. We waited at least 45-50 minutes for the food. The person came to take orders after 20ish minutes and we never got water, napkins, and other things until we asked.
It wasn’t busy-busy but for a Sunday, there were only 2-3 people working. Some of us were visiting for second time and they said the same thing about delay on one of the afternoons.
The food is really good but the service needs to be improved. Nothing against the folks working there but just a message for the management if they believe in constructive feedback and recommendations.
If you love Thai food, Cafe' de Bangkok is where you want to go! I ABSOLUTELY love this place!! The food is so DELICIOUS and the customer service is OUTSTANDING! The portion sizes are remarkable for the money you pay. Amy the owner and her husband do it all. They are cooking, greeting customers, sitting the customers and are very kind. All their employees are friendly, patient and work hard to ensure you are completely satisfied with the food presentation and service. Thank you for being so AMAZING! Laurie
Very nice people! Have always treated
Had the Thai Fried Rice, Yellow Curry (ordered no spice, but it did have a little kick... it is curry after all), Prik Khing, Cucumber salad (like we have never seen before), and fried veggie rolls. The food was good and reasonably priced. Pick-up time was set, and I was on time, but the food took an extra 20 minutes. Still, I will come back again as the food was good, but I will order a little earlier to plan ahead.
Loved this place! Delicious food, large portions, highly recommend. Tom the owner was so friendly and kind. We will be back.
This is the BEST THAI place! I've been to many others and none can compare to this one. The food never disappoints and is always AMAZING! The owner is so nice and informative about the food/culture. I've been coming here for a while and will continue to come back again & again!
I've been looking for a Thai restaurant with noodle soup like I get in Thailand, and I found it here!! I got the guay teaw nam tok pork, and it was so flavorful and aromatic, with just the right amount of spice. I plan to go again to try the duck noodle soup, which is actually my favorite soup to get when I'm in Thailand! The fish cakes were also delicious. The staff were very polite and attentive, and the food came out quickly (we got there right after they opened on Sunday so it wasn't busy).
Great authentic Thai food. As A Malaysian in AZ, the food rating is as what I had as in Penang or Bangkok. Tremendous atmosphere stir the appetite of marvellous Thai food
Terrible customer service. Terrible management.
Would return again
Food is always Amazing and people over there are humble and polite. I have been going there multiple times.. and tried different foods and they are always consistent with the quality and test.
Do not go during an excessive heat warning. The dining area is WARM and uncomfortable. 🥵
food was good.
First time here with my wife we're really love khoa soi
Delicious!!! Friendly staff, very knowledgeable. The whole experience was excellent.
Now that i got the 5 stars out of the way, lets talk about the chicken satay.
Except for once im not having the right words—- “tender” or “insane flavour like what just happened in my mouth” dont really do it justice.
Definitely great portion sizes - got the lunch menu pad thai- it was great- but wanna come back for the curries- or- ok yeah, one heaping plate or chicken satay.
AND! Most important—- the lunch special comes with FREE thai iced tea or coffee that is imported from Thailand!
This place is an absolute treasure.
Absolute gem of a restaurant! Don’t be surprised by the plain exterior because when you walk in and sit down, you will be treated to a most warm welcome and delicious, authentic thai food. We had a pork yellow curry, vegetarian yellow curry, thai fried rice and the appetizer sampler. All were beautifully prepared. Our lunch was finished with a delightful sticky rice and mango dessert and a serving of coconut ice cream. We will definitely return soon. Highly recommend dining at this wonderful restaurant!
My family came here because of the amazing reviews, but we had a much different experience.
The restaurant was very hot, and the service was much worse. The waitress was snippy and abrasive. It seemed like her POS system was off from the numbers on the menu for spice level (the menu has a scale from 1-5 and I assume that hers was 0-4 because she kept repeating one level spicier). When I pointed this out and corrected everyone’s orders, she became defensive and impatient but reluctantly corrected the orders. There were multiple times when she forgot about (or blew off) our food/drinks, including that 2 of our meals came out about ten minutes after the other 3 while she kept running around up front.
The food was good other than dry, overcooked chicken. Nothing special.
If you love Thai...this is it!!
Our FAVORITE!
People are awesome owner is kind and thoughtful! Food is Amazing!!
If you want amazing Thai food this place is it. I went with a group of people. We all ordered a different dish and shared. And every single dish was delicious! We got a combo appetizer, Pad Thai noodles, yellow curry, duck curry, Mongolian beef, and some curry noodles he recommended (I think was #52 on menu; I posted the picture) and coconut ice cream with fried banana for dessert. Can’t wait to come back another time and try other dishes.
Fantastic! Wow.. we ordered the sampler appetizer, 5 different entrees and dessert, and everything was amazing. Everyone in the group loved everything on the table, it was all so good. This place deserves your business, and we will definitely be back!
WOW! I’ve been coming to Mint Thai since childhood, always loved it, so I was nervous to see my favorite restaurant change management. I have been pleasantly surprised and very impressed! The new remodel is elegant, but still has a fun unique look to it! The food so delicious, I really can’t emphasize that enough, it’s truly excellent. I asked for tempura veggies, and shrimp, that was one of my favorite appetizers from Mint Thai, and it exceeded my expectations by FAR. I ordered food for my mom and grandparents and brought it home to them, they were delighted by the food as well, we will definitely be returning customers! Also, my server was so sweet, she had the warmest smile, and made sure to check on me regularly, I am so happy I decided to come here for lunch today.
Just stumbled upon this Thai place yesterday, amazing food & great service. We are vegetarians & can highly recommend Bamee Jae and Kao Soi. food was a 10/10, we ordered few more dishes and all of them were great. Going again in future!
