Now they open for dinner great. They also have a terrace. Parking also free for the customer. And they also have a ramp for wheelchair. This is a terrific family-owned business in Montgomery that we have enjoyed for over 25 years. The food is delicious and consistently good. If you tried a dish 10 years ago and liked it, it will be just as good today. Lek is a real person who is known to visit with patrons in his restaurant and knows his regulars. His family members have cooked, hosted and served there. It's a Montgomery institution.

My wife and I love Lek's. Always good and consistent. We try to get a different menu item on each visit,and have not yet found a single thing that we don't like. Service is always friendly, and they always have a new suggestion for us to try, which we do of course. They are tucked back in the corner, but make it a thing to add to your to do list. This is definitely one of our go-to places!

One of Montgomery's oldest and best Thai restaurants. Authentic Thai, and yes you can get real Thai HOT spicy entrees. Excellent spring rolls, soups, noodles, rice. I have eaten here since 1992, so you know it's a good Montgomery tradition.

Wow!!! The food was amazing, service was incredible.
I had the tofu Pad Thai, and my husband had the Chicken Hot Pot. We shared the fresh spring rolls. Everything was DELICIOUS.

The best Namsod anywhere!!! My whole family orders Namsod every time we go and we often pick up a couple orders to enjoy over the weekend. Other restaurants in Alabama don’t put as many ingredients in it or will contain pieces of fat which I dislike! I also prefer Leks spring rolls over any others, they contain quality filling and crispy outside and the dipping sauce is delicious. I love love love Leks Taste of Thailand! Thank you!

Food did not seem fresh. Food was no where to the caliber of other thai restaurants we had same dishes in thr same area. Atmosphere dated but clean. Staff friendly. Spent more money on less dishes than the normal amount we would order for 2 more dishes.... won't be back unfortunately.

The portion size is very very small for $10+ dollars. My food came out in a child's bowl. It had good flavor but it was only enough for a small toddler.

My seared tuna poke bowl was frozen and barely thawed. Fruit was icy. Had to ask for salt. Sushi rolls were ok but not great. Waiter ignored us for over 15 minutes, was brusque and bordering on rude. The air conditioning was blasting and it was uncomfortable. They cannot accommodate any allergies.

I have been eating at this place for over 30 years. I love their Thai spaghetti, spring rolls, and soups. If I had to choose 1 restaurant to eat at daily it would be this one.

Stopped by for lunch with a grounp of about 8. Friendly, fast service and good food. Spring rolls are made in house and worth the extra charge if your lunch selection doesn't include them. They do come out piping hot, though! I had the Red Curry at spice level 2 (1-5) and will probably try 3 next time. A friend commented that her level 5 Thai Hot was not too hot, so take that for what it's worth. Another friend had a sausage hit pot that was deliciously exotic and very flavorful.

There was a time when I would have rated Lek's a 5. My wife and I have eaten there on our anniversary multiple times, and it was the only place we'd eat Thai food. Now the prices have increased and the portions have decreased. I recently ordered Beef Fried Rice and there was very, very little beef in it. The lunch time menu is a little better, because you get soup as well, but they've cut out the spring roll that used to be part of the lunch special. One reviewer accurately described our experience. If you go at lunch, after your server brings the food to your table, you won't see her again. I don't know what happened or why, and it saddens us, but I can't imagine us eating there again.

June 2023, still the best Thai restaurant anywhere I've tried throughout my travels.

The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. This restaurant did not have wireless pay (Applepay). I ordered the crispy tofu and vegetable Tom Kha, and they were delicious. I asked the waiter if the food was vegan, and they were transparent. The waiter was sweet and welcoming. The experience and food was a pleasure.

Overall it’s a solid place with a huge menu and tons of options…

Leks time is one of the more reliable restaurants serving good food—that’s not just my word for it. This review is a culmination of over 100 military guests that I have taken here over the last couple years. Whether it was for lunch or dinner, everyone has always commented on how their food is so delicious. It is a popular restaurant in downtown Montgomery, so eating there at lunch can be a wait at times. However, the variety and price of the lunch menu is worth it. Leks is able to support large groups with a heads up. Great spot for yummy Thai food!

Excellent experience. Our family was traveling through and we’re grateful we stopped here! The spring rolls were exceptional as well as the fried rice. Our server was so sweet and kind. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend.

I had been here pre-covid and everything was great. This time it was pretty bad. I opted for to go this time. The girl that too my order was super sweet and the food was ready in about 15 min. My Tom ga soup was just chicken broth with canned mushrooms, onions, and chopped tomatoes with a chunk or two of boiled chicken. The green curry flavor was good but the vegetables were frozen peas and carrots with a couple chunks of red bell pepper. Very disappointed with that. The chicken fried rice had hardly ANY chicken in it and the mixed vegetables with shrimp still had the tails on and half of the dish was rice! Nothing tasted fresh, more like previously frozen. I hate to be so negative but for the price we paid and the food we received it just wasn’t worth it. The portions were way smaller than I would expect for dinner let alone the price I paid. I will go here again and give them another try. The flavors were delicious. Everyone has bad days and maybe this was one of theirs.

It's Leks.... What more can you say? If you desire well prepared Thai food, go give them a try. No, it's not cheap... But it's well done, clean, and very good!

No matter what you get, the food at Lek's is always great, but the absolute best part of eating at Lek's is the service. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and always seem to remember you, even if you haven't been in in a while. It almost feels like going over to a relative's house for dinner. Service like that really sets it apart from other restaurants, and I love that.

Looking for great Pad Thai, here ya go!

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I've seen them change over time, and while sadly they don't have sushi anymore it (They stopped shortly before the pandemic and pretty sure the pandemic killed it) They're still as good as always! The staff is extremely kind and has seen me over the years grow up. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Generally speaking, this is some of the best Thai food in Montgomery. I do think the Atlanta Highway location has better food, but the restaurant itself downtown is significantly nicer. I got the red curry chicken which was good but nothing near as good as the Atlanta Highway location. I am glad they have the sushi back, as it was good. I would recommend anyone who likes Thai food to try it. Note just because the Atlanta Highway location taste better doesn’t mean this location isn’t good. It’s just not AS good.

I had the volcano chicken. The chicken was moist and tender. I’m very picky on sauces and it was to my liking. Atmosphere was clean, wonderful pieces of furniture, and the fish tank was well maintained. The service was friendly, helpful, and patient.

The dining experience is always nice. The food is good, I haven't tried anything yet that just blows my mind but it's a big menu. However the appetizer combo plate is really great. The fried rice is good as well, but the service is great and atmosphere is very quiet and calm. It's a good place to grab lunch when you need a break from the hustle of work.

The noodles are overcooked on the dishes I’ve had, and they have been just nice enough.

The food is ALWAYS amazing and hits the spot when I’m craving it. The Thai Tea is always a must. It’s such a comforting and warm atmosphere. Of course, I can’t forget to mention their beloved Pacu fish who I’ve also been seeing since I was a baby. This place is a must!

I stopped by after not having been here in a while. The food is pretty good and the service is too. I usually get the chicken red curry, and it's very good but not as quite as good as it once was. I would give this place a 5 but the restaurant is showing it's age. Could use some minor remodelling.

Honestly, this is the best Thai food in Montgomery.

Why only 3 stars? t's spendy and they don't give you much food. It really sucks to pay almost $50 for a meal only to leave hungry. Also, the servers were nice, but didn't come get the check, despite the fact that my wife and I had our hands very full with our children.

It's too bad we won't be back because the food was awesome.

I adore Lek's Taste of Thailand! Their food is always freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. I swear their chicken rice soup works wonders when you have a sinus problem or feeling a little sick. I most highly recommend this restaurant!

Such good food! My favorites are the red curry chicken, the pud Thai, and the Tom kha. And the staff are always so nice and really try to make sure you have a good dining experience. The decor is lovely with a little fun thrown in (see if you can find Bugs Bunny).

I was excited to eat here as it had a 4.6 ⭐ rating. The spring rolls were ok and the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew 👎👎 no flavor, and had to add so much siracha to make it edible. If you like it great! I'm sure they make other dishes amazing b/c there is obviously a reason they get huge stars.

Pretty terrible food. We ordered takeout and of the three dishes, only the pad Thai was decent. The curry was gross. Very disappointed because the reviews seemed positive but this food was NOT good. $40+ and most of it is going in the trash. Would not order from here again.

We lived in Montgomery for over a decade and this was one our favorite restaurants. Their food is delicious. We loved their roasted duck, pud thai, spicy rice, curries, spring rolls, fried tofu... we reminisce about their food & our experiences. When we come back to town they always remember us. It's a wonderful restaurant filled with wonderful people.

They use red snapper in their fish dishes. The three flavor fish is delicious. You can order it steamed or fried.

I always enjoy eating here. I like how seasoning the food yourself is an option. The food is very good and the waitstaff is excellent. They remember you from previous visits. And it's quiet. I always go to the one on the Atlanta Highway.
