Excellent food and service. Quality is higher here than at many other Chinese restaurants.

Our favorite is the Singapore Rice Noodles. So fun and different. If you like curry and warm happy feelings, I recommend it. It comes with yellow curry powder standard, but you can ask for red curry sauce or green curry sauce if you want to mix things up. (Yellow curry is spicy and nuanced. Red curry sauce is sweet and smooth, I like it with Soy Sauce.)

Also the Dragon and Phoenix is a great pair with it, sweet, spicy, and very saucy.

The Chicken Lemongrass is also outstanding if you are in the mood for something sweet and unique. It goes well with the Triple Delight with Basil.

We also like the Thai Noodles, our favorite way is to add chili oil, soy sauce, salt, and lime to them. Really nice.

The Spicy Shrimp Coconut Soup, Teriyaki Shrimp, and Chicken on a Stick are all pretty good too if you are in the mood for something sweet.

Love the relaxing environment and classical music too.

The person who was ready to take our order has a very welcoming smile, warm greeting, and maintained it to the very end.
I ordered a two plate entree, but she apologized because it was going to take 8 mind before the mushroom chicken to be ready. I ordered the orange chicken and black pepper chicken instead.
I went to locate seating and underneath of our sitting area was dirty. Food was all on the floor. I observed other areas as appearing likewise. They didn't appear busy but possibly before we arrived.
Our food appeared beautiful and fresh. Unfortunately, my orange chicken was a bit too hard but all else was really good. The flavors in each dish was cooked well and the colors were vibrant. The look of the food was enjoyable to the eyes and palate.
They are certainly worthy of people trying them out. We still enjoyed our food and moments spent at Panda House.
Please go give them a try.
They have an accessible seating area and if anyone has sensory challenges, I think it's a great place to try out during slow periods.

They will also make anything on the menu with tofu instead of meat so they are very vegetarian friendly. But the sesame tofu and general Tao tofu they have in the menu is very good if you do not want to special order anything.

Great Chinese and Thai in a great atmosphere. The wait staff is very nice and attentive. The Happy Family, General Tao's chicken (with dark or white meat selection) were delicious. A dining mate said the Singapore Rice Noodle was too salty for their taste. Would recommend for anyone looking for this kind of cuisine in this area.

My daughter and I tried Panda House in Alabaster for the first time. They did not disappoint. The food was flavorful, hot, fresh and service was great! We had steamed pork dumplings, crab rangoon (with actual crab in them!!), sesame chicken, sheschwan all meat( beef, shrimp and chicken), hot n sour soup and hot tea. My only critique is that the hot n sour soup was very flavorful but not spicy, I prefer more spice. It is a little pricier than other places but the quality reflects that. Cute lil' panda teapot and cup with delicious Oolong tea was the perfect choice. We will be back. Thank you Panda House.

The Best Thai fried rice I've ever eaten. I'm still trying to figure out the house seasoning they utilize. Highly recommended.

First time to visit. Lunch was very good. Both Chicken w/ Garlic Sauce and Kong Pao chicken was spicy with crunchy veggies. Both soups were good

We eat here at least once a week. The food is always fresh and yummy. The ladies are super nice and if you eat there enough they usually will ask what you usually get.

They are quick with serving the food, and great with checking up on the customers. They even packed my food up

Food was very good. Fast and they came to check on us a few times. They don't close until 9 most nights which is good.

The food was excellent and the quantity was great. This was our first time trying Panda House but it won't be our last for sure. Can't believe we hadn't been here before. It was a tad pricy but because we had so much food we had for dinner and lunch the next day.

I visited a place called China Garden in Montevallo, Alabama. Had the Buffet with a Friend of mine. Recommend the Mongolian Beef and especially their Egg Drop Soup very heartily. Yummy Food and Great Service all the way around.

I impressed my Chicago GF with Panda House Chinese food. It’s like 17% of the reason she moved to Alabama. My daughter loves it, and it’s very reasonably priced. Great place to go before or after catching a movie.

For lunch just the addition broccoli is $3 extra no thank you

Wonderful Restaurant!

We had a great lunch here! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, service was quick and polite, and the food was delicious. All three of my children ate their lunches, and all three adults enjoyed their delicious and generous-portioned meals.

This is the best Chinese Food I've had in Alabama. The food from the wonton soup, egg roll and Chicken with mixed vegetables was super fresh and oh so delicious. I even had to take a wonton soup home. We will definitely be back. It's worth the drive.

Best Mongolian Delight hands down!

Stopped by on my lunch break. I ordered the wonton soup and general Tso’s chicken. Everything came out quickly and hot. The chicken was actually big pieces of chicken instead of mostly batter like a lot of places do. Everything tasted great! I’ll definitely be back again.

Quick service and good food. Cannot recommend the Lemongrass Chicken dish enough.

One of our favorite places to go. We come here very often. They already know my daughters order by heart. I would love to be able to buy some noodles as a side instead of a whole entree. Other than that excellent place.

By far the best Asian restaurant in the area! I pick up lunch from here weekly for my office, they are prompt, the food is always fresh, and our orders are always correct. I also dine in for dinner frequently. You can't go wrong with Panda House! Highly recommend the special Sesame Chicken and Spring Rolls! Chinese Donuts are also amazing!

We have been enjoying Panda House since they opened. We love the owner and her delicious food. Often we will call ahead and order food for carry out on our way home. We also deeply appreciate their gluten free options.

We came here because I must eat gluten free and their website indicates a gluten free menu. We were not disappointed! They do indeed have a gluten free menu and the staff demonstrates a knowledge of what gluten is, unlike most Asian restaurants. The vegetables are all cooked so fresh and crispy. The egg drop soup is outstanding.

Please update your open schedule if you are going to close for extended periods of time!

This place is incredible. Any time I visit Alabaster, I always stop here. The food is incredible, the owner is so sweet and the food is delicious. I’ve gotten take out and dined in as well. The food is always hot and when dining in, the service from the owner is top notch. Love this place!

The food was hot when I picked it up. It was kinda bland, and seemed very Americanized. But I enjoyed it they are quick and very friendly, the inside has not been changed or updated for at least a decade or so it appears. We did take out order. Would go back again.

Dining room is open again. Food is still the same high-quality as before!

The restaurant was very clean and they were cleaning more with less than an hour to closing. The food was piping hot and tasted amazing!! And when they heard it’s my fiancé’s birthday they set him up with Chinese donuts (amazeballz)

My parents came to visit from Puerto Rico, and even though I have moved to Leeds, we travel to Alabaster to this restaurant because we love their food. The combination of soup, egg roll or vegetable roll and rice with meat of your choice for the price it's great. The egg roll sauce is the best one I have tried so far. The service is always attentive and courteous. I'm glad they are in business.

Decent chinese food but overpriced. Bell pepper pieces are massive chunks because staff too lazy to cut them up. $40 for simple meal for 2.

The food is amazing!!! Nothing tasted "out of a can" or store-bought like so many other restaurants serve. My wife and I are notoriously difficult to please, especially in the area of Chinese takeout. Our favorite place used to be a small restaurant in Washington state. It was run by a small old woman who cooked everything to order. Panda House lived up to and surpassed that!

The food was absolutely delicious! I felt the lunch portion was a tad small given the price, but overall worth it. Unfortunately the staff was a little short handed, and I wasn't able to get a refill on my drink. It's definitely worth giving a shot.

that I get from here but I ordered the Thai Basil and it was 90% green peppers and onions could taste no Thai Basil and just a few pieces of beef very disappointing

Be VERY careful when adding anything in the “special instructions” when placing takeout. I requested a little extra sauce on the side and realized after the meal was delivered that my card was charged $4.56 for that “little extra sauce”.

There's absolutely no competition, this is the best Chinese food place within about 25-30 miles. Great service, great food, I'd come here all the time if I didn't live 20 minutes away.

Good a bit pricy but worth it

Went to the drive up. I ordered a plate. Honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, fried rice and a spring roll. And I ordered a second plate wok seered steak and shrimp, orange chicken, fried rice. Chicken egg roll. Well got it home and they forgot my orange chicken with my shrimp. I was so disappointed. . I drove 150 miles to see my son and have some Panda. It was to far to drive back. Oh well. But what food I ate was delicious. You say you have no drive thru is false. You do have one. I went through it.

The utterly best Chinese Food in Pelham, and in my opinion Birmingham. Not even a debate. I have not had anything here that I did not like. The Owner and servers are exceptionally kind. Everything is made from scratch here, And the best Sizzling rice soup I have ever had. They will always have My Business.

We are so impressed with Panda House. I have always loved eating here and their food is fantastic, but they are taking COVID-19 safety precautions to the next level. When you walk in, the cashier is behind plexiglass and they also have a large plastic curtain for contactless payment and pickup of food. Masks are required, menus are paper rather than reusable, and the cashier was wearing both mask and gloves. They have a couple of tables out front on the sidewalk if you’d like to eat outside, and they only allow one customer inside at a time. We had the cashew chicken, spring rolls, Thai coconut soup and lemongrass chicken. Everything was delicious as usual, and we felt very safe picking up food and eating here. Thank you!

Stop by yesterday and got beef and broccoli and it was very bland. The fried rice was very cold. I don’t appreciate this at all . The woman upfront seem like she was bother that I ordered food. I won’t come back!

My husband wanted Chinese food to eat on his lunch break and I was already in the area, so I called and placed the order and the lady that took my order was super nice. When I got there our food was ready and I paid and took it to the house. When he got there on lunch break, we both mentioned how good the food was. I had the hot and sour soup with the crispy noodles and he got chicken fried rice (that I had some of too) and was very impressed with how good it was and how flavorful it was! We will definitely get it again! Can’t wait for them to open the dining area so we can experience that too!

The whitest fried rice ever.... 1st time ordering and its wrong

My husband and niece ordered beef lomein, they both said that it only had 4 to 5 pieces of meat and it had no taste, they would not eat it. The egg rolls was missing something also, needed some spice. I ordered general Tso's chicken and it was very good.

Panda house is the best Chinese restaurant in the alabaster area there food is just exactly what you want when you order it it's not working or different and the prices are that of a fast food place which really makes this place special if you are in the area and hungry for Chinese then this may be the place for you

We had lunch here today. We both were greeted and seated immediately. The lunch special menu had a good variety of choices to choose from. My husband ordered the chicken on a stick appetizer and it was very good. Our lunch specials came with soup and an egg roll. Everything was good but a little salty for us. We plan to go again.

Panda House is our absolute favorite! We've tried many dishes, and all are delicious. We love the soups, the egg rolls, and my personal favorites are the Black Pepper Chicken and the Thai noodle. The owners are so nice, too. We hope they stay in business for a long, long time!

We moved to Pelham almost a year ago and we were looking for a good chinese restaurant near us. This was my first time here and had the lunch special sesame chicken. Many restaurants I have been to do not make this correctly, but I enjoyed the whole meal. From the eggroll with a horseradish dipping sauce, egg drop soup, fried rice and sesame chicken. I found my chinese restaurant in Pelham.
