Great food, spicy sauces and spices.

Diner Review №2

We called a few time and finally got through after the 4th call. Per the person who picked up the phone, the wait time was 2 hours. We decided to go to Ziffaro's pizza down the block from Eesane. We drove past Eesane to get to Ziffaro's and notice Eesane wasn't even open. Why would you (Eesane) lie that your 2 hours behind on take out orders when in reality your closed. Just say your closed if you're going to pick up.. Smh

Diner Review №4

Good food and nice atmosphere. Pad Thai had no egg. A sign of the times.

Diner Review №5

Had a terrible first-time experience for my first takeout order. They told me 45 minutes and it ended up taking about 1.5 hours. Was frustrating to just wait around in the restaurant afterwards. However, the food was phenomenal so I would recommend.

Diner Review №6

You can rely on great food here. Excellent service and they put effort into the presentation. The environment is quite relaxing.

Diner Review №7

Great food. Friendly service. One of my favorites.

Diner Review №8

Always a great experience and phenomenal food! Try the $$$money bag shrimp! We always go for Volcano anything!! They have the best spring rolls and rice! Congratulations 🎊 on the new location! We love ❤️ it!

Diner Review №9

Delicious food but they DO NOT REGULATE SPICE levels at all. We ordered 2 EE Sane noodles, one spice level 3 and the other 4 (out of 10)...
First off they were mislabeled, but whatever. But the 3 tasted completely spiceless. The 4 heavily burnt my mouth and I could not eat more than a few forkfulls. Yes, this is coming from a guy who cant tolerate a ton of spice, but it affected my wife the same way who likes spice. This has happened multiple times over the years and it's frustrating at this point to never know what spice level there will be and if it will be edible for me.

Best Thai food in Milwaukee, probably best Thai I've ever had
Regular spot for lots of people for good reason
Food, service, portions are all perfect
Ee-sane can do no wrong
Spicy scale 1-10, I'm south asian and struggled past level 6

Diner Review №13

i’ve dined-in and gotten takeout, both great experiences. their red curry is my absolute favorite

Diner Review №15

My favorite place to get Thai food in all of Milwaukee area. We usually do take-out or delivery and it is delicious every time. Kind and friendly.

Diner Review №16

Diner Review №17

Top spot, if I lived here I would order often. I was really happy with the dishes and it was a lot of good food! We got a few veg options some were even marked vegan and it was easy to order online. Love the thick shell on the egg rolls too.

Diner Review №18

Best Thai food in Milwaukee. The staff are always friendly. Love the new location! Massaman and Squash Curry are my favorite.

Diner Review №19

The food is always fresh, authentic, and great tasting. Service is lovely, and friendly. The chili oil spiciness varies day to day, always ask :)
I recommend the veggie spring rolls, crab rangoon, Tom Kah, crispy duck, and beef Larb.

Diner Review №20

Terrible staff

Diner Review №21

Went here today with a friend of mine. We got the Crab Rangoon and EE Sane Rolls to start and both were really good and the plum sauce that was served with them was really good and better than the typical sweet and sour or duck sauce you see. I got the Curry with Rice Noodle and did the spice level at 4 and it was a perfect amount of heat (it hits you when you take a bit but doesn't intensify when you swallow) and my friend got the Lard Nar with shrimp and he did a spice level of 5 and really enjoyed it. We both really like spice and agree to be aware when picking a spice level like other reviews (luckily I was aware before I came). The flavors are incredible here and the service was pleasant. I 100% recommend stopping by.

Diner Review №22

It’s a beautiful restaurant decorated so well. The staff and chef are great from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The food is AMAZING!

Diner Review №23

The food is bursting with flavor. The heat scale is 1 - 10; I went with a 6 for both the Tom Kar soup and basil noodles . Both delivered on spice and flavor. My server was delightful too!

Diner Review №24

One of my favorite local spots, the food and service is always great. Been eating here for 20 years, dad would take me here as a kid.

Everything on the menu is awesome, be adventurous and try something other than Pad Thai 🙄

I recommend #42 the curry rice noodle, or the EE Sane noodle, Singapore Noodle, Yum Nua, Larb, all of the Stir Fry and Specialty dishes are great.

Hope to patron this gem another 20 years. 🖤

Diner Review №25

Wanted Thai food for dinner and knew of this placed because I walk by every day when I walk my dog. Got the drunken noodles which were SO
good that I wasn’t even mad they gave me chicken instead of beef. My daughter got the Panang curry and said it was also very good. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Atmosphere seemed nice from what I could tell as I waited for my order.

Diner Review №26

I have been to this restaurant so many times over the years they maintain consistently on their recipes and meals are always delicious. I recommend this restaurant if you like red curry or other curries!

Diner Review №27

They renovated the restaurant, and it seems like they may have new or different cooks. Love the updated look to the restaurant..the crab rangoons are now delicious, and all the rest of the food was amazing as always.

Diner Review №28

Diner Review №29

Ordered pick up, was told 40 min. Arrive 50 min later, they charge us. Wait 20 minutes more nothing, ask, they have no idea how long. Ask for a refund, another 10 minutes.... Total incompetence.

Diner Review №31

Saw this place and decided to try it out. Absolutely loved it. Great food, large portions, good prices and really nice people. We got the yellow curry medium spice and shrimp spring rolls and were so full we couldn’t eat dessert. Will definitely come back. Definitely the most authentic Thai food I’ve had in Milwaukee

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

Beware of the spice levels! We’re a family that are no strangers to spicy food and can typically handle it quite well. So my we chose 5/10 as the spice level on our online order (which felt like a safe choice - after all we didn’t want something bland!). It was CRAZY spicy. Like literally we couldn’t even eat it. The flavours seemed good but because of our mouths being on fire, I couldn’t really tell. I wish they had some sort of warning that their 5/10 is what others may call 12/10. If I am honest they need a far better way of explaining their scale. Disappointing given all the good reviews, not to mention it being such a waste of $$$.

We got the beef larb salad, fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce, pad Thai, and Tom kar soup. All was very excellent! Spice levels were on point for our love for super spicy food. Being somewhat of foodies, We are pretty particular about this kind of cuisine. And E E Sane 100% met our expectations. Atmosphere was lovely, and clean and our service was good. We will definitely be back!

Diner Review №59

Ohhhh so delicious! We started with tofu Tom Kar (kha) and it was full of fresh veggies: summer squash, broccoli, mushrooms, bok choi, bamboo shoots, cilantro, and more. The broth was creamy and lightly spicy—thankfully we had leftovers and will enjoy it tomorrow.

For our main course, I got the cashew shrimp, mild spicy with added pineapple (I like my food a bit sweet). The veggies, again, were fresh and al dente. The heat was just enough to let me know the kitchen paid attention, but not enough to burn my mouth. I would definitely order it again.

My partner got the veggie drunken noodle. He got his at a 3 heat and really felt it but not too much to where he didn’t enjoy the flavor of the dish. The gravy was mildly sweet and savory.

The music was a wide range from blues to hip-hop to Asian pop. I enjoyed it playing softly in the background.

Well done EeSane!

Diner Review №60

Delicious food, great service. Egg roll appetizer was really unique with a nice thick fried crust and a tasty dipping sauce. Highly recommend the squash curry.

Diner Review №61

food is great!! big portions for good prices. our server mary was super nice :)

Diner Review №62

Food was really good. Service was a bit slow at times but otherwise a good experience.

Diner Review №63

We tried many items on the menu and enjoyed every single one! Personal favorites include the pad thai (a classic, of course), beef noodles, thai tea, coconut water, and fried fish (such a great sauce on it). We ended up with plenty of leftovers, and those reheated quite well too. On top of that, there was a large variety of halal options, which isn't always the case with Thai cuisine, so we appreciated it. The speedy service was great, and everyone was so mindful with the elderly members in our party. Would definitely eat here again!

Diner Review №64

Food was awesome. They changed interior too...looking a lot better now

Diner Review №67

I love coming here for crab rangoon. I did have some issues in the past but has since been great experiences. Good luck all.

Drove from Mequon, WI to get some soup that was highly recommended. I did not get the soup as they stated that they open at 11am and I am still sitting here at 12:00, no posted updates on door or new hours post. We have watched 4 people grab at the door, sit, and wait like us and ultimately leave. If you live a bit aways call before coming because there isn't updated information for Google or on the door. Good luck.
Update: We did get the soup when they actually opened at 12:45. The soup was good, but call before going because this was almost 2 hours after they are scheduled to open. We went to pizza shuttle and when we came out they were going in to open so we decided to get it. Good luck.

Diner Review №68

Atmosphere is super cute and there’s plenty of seating. Food here is always so good and to be honest the prices are very reasonable compared to the surrounding options. Staff is very sweet and attentive, always asking if we need anything else and giving to-go boxes. It’s very clean and spacious too so I could see us coming back when family is in town

Enjoyed an early dinner...the restaurant was very clean and inviting. I ate the EE-sane rolls with the Chicken Ka Pad Pow which was very good. The owner...Happy informed me that they've been in business for 30 years with Grandma in the kitchen.

Diner Review №71

This lady does not pay her employees, She owes me a thousand dollars And if you seen this kitchen you wouldn't eat here. If I was you I would ask to see the kitchen before you ordered.

Diner Review №72

Absolutely delicious with excellent service and a stellar menu. I will return soon.

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

The food, service, and atmosphere are always amazing!

Diner Review №78

The quality of service and food has recently declined. We waited 40 minutes for a table and over an hour for our food to arrive. The taste of the food is not as good as it used to be. I cannot recommend this place until the issues are resolved.

Diner Review №79

WOW - amazing!! My husband and I are very passionate about thai food and it's hard to find a place that has good red curry AND padt thai! Both dishes were very good. Tom Kha soup was also very good. I live 30 minutes away and by the time I got home the crab rangoons were still crispy and delish. Will be back!

Diner Review №80

Diner Review №81

As a Hmong woman living on campus, this restaurant got me through my cravings and home sickness. I recommend num tok level 5-7, papaya Salad level 7-10, and sticky rice.

Diner Review №82

Wonderful authentic experience, definitely coming back.

Diner Review №83

Nice intimate restaurant with soothing Gold Thai Laos ✨️decor. They have a nice Lunch Menu. BEEF 🥩 Pho🍜 was delicious, was a very generous portion 🧑🏻‍🍳 Served with FRESH bean sprouts, cilantro, mint, sliced jalapeños. Along with the use of a Spiciness Scale, for our Singapore noodles, which were made-to-order, to our desired spiciness taste. It is a wonderful place to get authentic Thai Laos Cuisine!

Diner Review №84

Awful counter service... I had ordered pick up; I was over charged at the register.

The online menu price for Eesane noodle (lunch) was $2.00 less than what I was charged.
When I questioned the price discrepancy, the cashier gave me two different reasons!

One being the in restaurant menu price and the other being, the vegetarian price version???

I placed my order, after I had read, the online menu meal description and the actual price listed.

Theft is theft and lying is just as bad!

Diner Review №85

Diner Review №86

Best Thai in the state!

Diner Review №87

Ee sane is probably the best Thai restaurant in Milwaukee. Thai connection and Singapore noodles are my favorite dishes.

Diner Review №88

Spring rolls and peanut sauce are the best.
Thom Kar is a bargain. We eat here weekly.

Diner Review №89

The food is mediocre at best. It's a decent take out or delivery place if you want run of the mill "take-out" style Thai food. Pad Thai was oddly sweet and extremely spicy like they just throw on chilli sauce to adjust spice level. Once again this is fine for a take out style food but not for a sit down place. I got the Ee Sane noodle special as well, this was also oddly sweet. Chicken chunks were too huge to be appetizing and tasted like they were just boiled in water. Chili sauce thrown into the noodle that was not mixed in. As a result I had a oddly tasting plate that was mostly sweet except for when I dug into the chilli sauce lathered portion.

I will say that portions are generous. And cost reasonable. So if you temper your expectations, and go in looking for fast-take out style Thai food, then this place is fine. I find it odd it's so highly rated on Reddit and local Milwaukee magazines. The pad Thai literally doesn't taste like any pad Thai I have had before.

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Best Singapore Noodle! I’ve tried for many years to find one as good as theirs and Ee-Sane is still the best. The dishes are all made fresh and you can tell. A true gem!

Diner Review №92

My favorite Thai place in Milwaukee. The fried spring rolls are amazing.

Diner Review №93

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Diner Review №96

The food is great, the service is great. The food just never misses, and they absolutely do make food spicy if you ask! There is a review about not liking restaurants without a parking lot. Um, they're on the East Side? Walk or take a bus or ride a bike, or park a few blocks away. It's a busy and dense part of the city...that's why there are so many great places like this! Servers are always very nice. I think the atmosphere could be improved a bit with maybe some new color on the walls and a change in lighting, but overall, great food.

Diner Review №97

The family has been eating there since they opened back in the 90s! Family run!

Diner Review №98

I’m pretty forgiving when it comes to restaurant service, but unfortunately we were feeling underwhelmed after our meals. The only vegetables in our food were cabbage and broccoli, no peppers or baby corn or anything in the noodle dishes that would usually include a variety of fresh vegetables. My friend ordered a curry that was supposed to have potatoes and tofu and she only got about 4 pieces of potato in the whole curry and was searching through heaps of onion and what seemed to be frozen broccoli for any sign of tofu or pepper. Additionally, we paid 13 dollars for soju and also purchased some miller lites and they were taken away from us before we even had the opportunity to finish drinking them, which is extremely disappointing. Overall, I was really excited to try this restaurant out, but the quality and service fell short.

Diner Review №99

Great little gem on the east side. Aside from being located on a busy one way street, the food itself is splendid and homemade-like. Great portion sizes and quick with preparation. Staff is friendly and the cooks are wonderful!

Diner Review №100

I have yet to find a better thai curry in Milwaukee. I occasionally try something else from EE-Sane, but I always find myself going back to the red curry. It's a very rich and creamy sauce that has great flavor. Their 1 -10 spice scale is no joke. I like spicy food, but I won't go higher than a 7 from this place. My only complaint is that they use a lot of onions in their dishes. I like onions, but it's almost as if they're used as filler in place of other more expensive vegetables. I also like that they finally got with the 21st century and added a website with online ordering.

Diner Review №101

Unassuming jem! Food was amazing! There is a 10pt spice scale. Generous servings, flavors are rich, and staff was friendly and attentive.

Diner Review №102

Diner Review №103

Consistently great food! I get the pad siew.

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №105

We just tried their pad thai today and it was overly sweet. The drunken noodles was expensive for the small portion size at almost $17. Probably won't be going back. But the wait staff was nice.

Diner Review №106

The food here was just ok. Large portions for lunch, but very little flavor. The best part about lunch were the egg rolls. Both of our main dishes looked and tasted the same, even though we ordered completely different dishes. It was very odd. Our server was great, but the atmosphere was terrible. It was 85 degrees outside, and it felt 80+ inside. It was not a great dining experience.

Diner Review №107

great food and great privces

Diner Review №108

Diner Review №109

A friend of mine turned me on to this and oh my god it's wonderful.

Diner Review №110

Great takeout spot for spicy authentic food. We ordered the Tom Yum (Level 5) and Pad Thai (Level 5). Both were HOT and really good. 🔥

Diner Review №111

Some of the best Asian food I've had in the whole Midwest!

Diner Review №112

I've somehow been tricked into going here a second time, I should've left a review for the first time as a reminder. Folks on milwaukee reddit RAVE about this place but I just do not see why or how.
Their Pho? meh. Their pad thai? meh.
Ugly interior. Service was fine.
I wouldn't call the food bad but it's just so… average or even below average. There's just so many better options elsewhere, do better.

Diner Review №113

I dare you to survive spice level 6 or above!! Delicious Thai food!

Diner Review №114

A friend of ours told us about this place and it was amazing! The duck is to die for!!

Diner Review №115

Diner Review №116

As a connoisseur of Thai restaurants in many states and cities, I have to say this one of the best I've ever eaten at. The chicken satay, tom kha soup, and butternut squash curry are all to die for!

Diner Review №117

Been coming here for over 15 years and I still love it. Highly recommend the valcano chicken!

Diner Review №118

First time visiting, loved everything about this place. Food was beyond excellent, thank you so much EE-Sane Thai-Lao cuisine!!! Even my leftovers were yummy 🤤

Diner Review №119

This place left a lot to be desired. The food wasn’t good and the service from the wait staff was underwhelming. Wouldn’t recommend.

Diner Review №120

Diner Review №121

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

I love eating here. They have an expansive menu and everything I've ordered has been delicious.

I especially recommend their pho.

Diner Review №124

I went in really hungry on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! Large portions, I got three meals out of their flavorful curry. Some of the best fish cakes I've had in years. Good size dining room with large tables that can accommodate bigger groups. Their menu is pretty extensive. More types of curry than I've seen anywhere outside of Thailand. Usually places that have too many things on the menu, in my opinion, aren't that good because they have to store too many ingredients for the food to be fresh but these guys are on point. I'm assuming due to their name and being billed as Lao-thai that they're serving Isan regional dishes. I will definitely be back!

Diner Review №125

We went for lunch and it was fantastic. We were treated to a light, crispy shrimp and crab cake, grandma's recipe to start. Then we had fresh spring rolls and crab Rangoon, both were lovely. We all had different entrees, curry's and crispy noodles. They were so flavorful, so delicious. I love hot food, I worked at a Thai Lao restaurant for many years so I understand hotness, I got a 5 out of 10 and it is HOT, they don't lie. The staff was so sweet, service was great and the chef even came out to say hi. We will definitely be back.

Diner Review №126

THIS PLACE WAS THE ABSOLUTE GEM. The service and food is AMAZING. The atmosphere was nothing out of the ordinary and it was average and nice. Went here yesterday with my asian crew and i fell IN LOVEEEEEE. Before we left, the waitress gave us hugs and words of positivity. Parking is a bit hard but the experience was DEFINITELY worth it. Food there was SO delightful that i packed some to-go. OVERALL ITS EASILY ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS 💖💝💓❤️💞💕💘💗

Diner Review №127

The ribs are phenomenal! I get food here regularly and have 0 complaints. If I could eat this meal everyday without gaining weight, I definitely would.

Diner Review №128

May not look like much from the outside, but the food is freaking awesome! And the staff is very friendly. The coconut milk soup with chicken ... fabulous! Anyway great taste and quality of food. Check it out. Cheers!

Diner Review №129

Absolutely love this place!

Diner Review №130

Best Thai in Milwaukee..

Diner Review №131

Bad place! Customer service is very bad and arrogant based on color of the skin! The workers showed extreme bias while serving they were very rude to us (India) .

Diner Review №132

Fans of flavor and spice, listen up. EE Sane comes strong with both up and down the menu. If you’re not into the heat, don’t sweat it. If you are, you may swear it. The heat scale is 1-10 and brave souls take note that the owner only goes to level 5. Flavor explosions await you at this east side gem.

Diner Review №133

Thai basil rice was not prepared the right way

Diner Review №134

Used to be the absolute best Pad Thai. In the past year or 2, it has become average at best. Is there new ownership or new cooks?

Diner Review №135

This is the worst Thai food we’ve ever had. The massaman was pale and watery and the Thai basil rice lacked any depth. I’ve never had rice that clumped together before. The interior of the restaurant looked tired and uncared for. It’s a shame because of all the awards ee sane had won a long time ago and the lack of true Thai food in Milwaukee.

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №137

Diner Review №138

Best mke Thai 100%

Diner Review №139

One of the best and authentic Thai restaurants in Milwaukee.

Diner Review №140

Nam Tok and Yellow Curry are my fave entrees!

Crab Rangoon's are the best appetizer.

Egg rolls and any noodle dish is usually a pass for me. If you are sensitive to spice stick with a 1 or 2 for spice level 😊

Diner Review №141

Delicous curry and the employees are so wonderful amd polite.

Diner Review №142

I got the beef pad thai, level 5, and it was great! It is really spicy though, and I am really good with spicy level. I would say the spice level was more of a 7-8 in my opinion, so I would choose wisely!

Diner Review №143

Did not look inviting from the outside! But I often find the best food at these places. Before I stepped inside I saw that they had an A rating sign at the door. Meaning the public health inspector found their facility to achieve a high level of food safety. Excellent menu! Very plain but super comfortable dining area. The food was delivered to our table super fast. The food was excellent! I am very picky when it come to curry, so I went with a stir fry dish. It was amazing! They definitely know how to turn up the heat. Service was average.

Diner Review №144

Wonderful food

Diner Review №145

Awesome small, family-owned spot for Thai and Lao food. Amazing flavor, lots of options including vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options. Thai coffee is to die for

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

People really rave this place is the best Thai food in town but I have to disagreed. First let me tell you about the parking here is a hit or miss during any day of the week. I dislike restaurants that don’t have a dedicated parking lot. The pad Thai dish noodle is really sticky. Looks like they have boil the noodles way too long. Also the fried rice is like sticky fried rice. They only good thing is that the price and the portion is equal.

Diner Review №148

The food was delicious. The service was very hospitable. It felt like being in Thailand. Very homey. I would come again. Alone or with friends, both works.

This place has been a favorite for well over a decade and never disappoints. I have tried most dishes and appetizers on the menu and enjoy all, some hard to not pick over and over. Must mention to all my friends, it gets spicy fast. Whatever your initial guess you think to pick, subtract 3 from it.

First wanted to say, we've been coming here for 10+ years since going to college. We do not live near this side of town and specifically travel for their food. The food is unbeatable and flavorful.

Saturday. We (party of 2) placed our order at 240pm. Yum talay seafood salad, curry fried rice, duck curry and a coke. Not once did the server come back, talk to us, update us or see how we were doing during our wait. We finally got our salad at 356pm. I believe the cook came and apologized and said they were very busy. We received the rest of the food at 410pm. We left by 435pm. It's not a food issue forsure, just be prepared for a long wait time. I'll definitely opt to order take out next time vs a sit down meal.

Diner Review №155

Great authentic Thai food.

Diner Review №156

Diner Review №157

Diner Review №158

Pad Thai was REALLY salty - so salty we gave up on trying to stomach it and threw it out. We were provided with bean sprouts in a paper bag that ripped moments after picking it up, making a huge mess (which created a weird, rotten smell, so maybe we dodged a bullet?). Vegetables inside our meals weren't cut well, making them harder to eat. They tasted a bit undercooked. Luckily the white curry turned out okay. For the price, what we were given was honestly quite insulting. I would not eat here again, and I would not recommend anyone else ever eat here as well.

Diner Review №159

Diner Review №160

Delicious and fresh Thai food. The best crab rangoons I've ever had. Note the* on the menus describing spice levels. Above 5 for me is too hot. Love that I can order a 1. Either way there food is fabulous!!!

Diner Review №163

Literally the best Thai food I have ever had. My whole family (who hails from Asia) absolutely love it, too. I've been coming here for a long time. The people who work here are so friendly as well! They always get our orders right, and our food always comes in a timely manner.

PLEASE NOTE: They do "Asian spicy" here (because it's an authentic restaurant, duh), so don't be upset if you specifically order spicy food and can't handle it.... Looking at you, white people... If you're white, I'd order a 2 or 3 on the spicy scale - trust me, that will be more than enough spice. For anyone who actually can handle their spice, well, the sky is the limit. My brother-in-law consistently orders a spice level of 15 here (which would send most people straight to Dante's inferno). I get a 5 or 6 usually and I can handle my spice pretty well. Proceed with caution. For what it's worth, though, the food tastes amazing. Even if you order a dish that's too spicy, you'll want to keep eating through the pain because it's just that good.

I usually go with the panang curry, but I've had several other [vegetarian] dishes and I've always been impressed by the complexity of flavors.

Overall, 10/10.

Diner Review №164

The staff is so sweet and kind! I ordered take out for my birthday and had to wait a little bit for my food to be finished since I live close by. I was invited in and offered a tea free of charge. I chatted with the staff and learned they’ve been in Milwaukee for more than 30 years. The menu is huge so you’ll definitely find something you’ll like. FYI it is spicy! If you can’t handle spice just go for 0-2. I’m so happy I found this place and can’t wait to go back.

Nam Sad here is amazing, be careful with how spicy you ask for!

I’ve been coming here since 2009! Love it! Pad Thai, Pork Laab, crispy pad see u, sticky rice, chicken wings!

Update: came here again to try Volcano duck & an absolute must try! Husband is obsessed.

The most amazing Thai food ever, I promise!!!

My husband and I have been going here for years and will go out of our way to come here. Literally everything on their menu is delicious, and the staff is super friendly. And, they don't go easy on spice when you ask them for "spicy". Which, I love! My husband is from India & I have inadvertently trained myself to endure spice through knowing him for over a decade. So when I say we both like legitimately like spicy food, I mean hella SPICY. At EE Sane, you can order food so spicy it's surprising it doesn't burn through skin! And it still tastes incredible!

I've been here so many times and will continue to come back! 10/10 recommend.

Diner Review №177

Very good for spicy lovers! They don't mess around here. 6/10 was nearing my limit and I have pretty good tolerance. Huge menu. Prices were a bit high ($15-$20) for most entrees

I take out from EE-Sane about once a month and it's always fresh, they always have the big fresh rolls. I know there's another very popular Thai place up the street that's also very good, but I like the curry here just a smidgen better. Repeat customer for life :)

My wife and I used to eat there back in 2011 when she was studying at UWM. We came back to visit friends in 2022 and stopped by. Delicious! We always ordered the crispy duck and fried dumplings. Loved it!

Went to dinner with family. Almost every restaurant on NE side of Milw,. has "take out only", but this comfy little Asian restaurant had plenty of seats available at 5:30/5:45 pm on Sat, Mar 12,2022. The food is "HEALTHY & DELICIOUS", Great service, & fast. Check it out for yourself!! U "will" like this Asian mom & pop style spot for a yummy dinner, & a nice place. Atmosphere was interesting!! Not to pricey either. Leave a tip, the servers move fast they deserve a good tip!!!

My friend and I came here for dinner the other night. I absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere and the decorations. The appetizers we ordered were phenomenal! I definitely recommend trying the spring rolls. In addition, the flavors on their main dishes are outstanding. I felt like everything was melting perfectly in my mouth! This is a great place to take your family or on a date!

My favorite Thai place.

Diner Review №193

overall one of my favorite restaurants. I've think this small Thai place in Milwaukee is really good. They are random with service and availability. Called during a busier time and they just weren't answering the phone... When they did after several attempts and being out on hold for 10+ minite.. told me it would be an hour and a half wait.

Diner Review №194

Food is always delicious, but some issues like there phones didn’t work, there open time was off by 30 minutes, cash only and they removed the lunch menu. Please bring back lunch menu that includes tum yum soup.

Great food. It's a typical asian experience, slower service than most of the american archetypal restaurants, but the food is worth the wait.

Diner Review №198

I love this place. It's a comfortable, casual atmosphere, and the food is excellent. The people are friendly, and I have never had a long wait for my food. Personal favorites are (as termed on their menu) thai pad prik, volcano duck, and ee sane noodle. They use a 0-10 scale for spiciness, so keep that in mind when ordering. Give them a try!

Diner Review №199

It's been more than 20yrs since I've been to EE-Sane but the food was as good as I remember. I had the Singapore noodles meal. Spice level 5. I don't eat alot of pork but this pork was delicious. Shrimp were large, noodles were spicy and the cabbage was flavorful. Can't wait to try something else! Can somebody say Volcano Shrimp?
