Pad Thai was yummy, picky grandmother enjoyed the egg rolls, and I overheard the waitress taking the time to explain the heat levels of their food to the other group who were new to Thai cuisine. Highly recommend.

I had lunch with a coworker here today. I ordered the lunch orange chicken with broccoli. There were two springs of broccoli and three slivers of carrots. The chicken was extremely dry and rubbery. The sauce was mediocre. I only ate about half of it because it was so bad. The servers were not terrible, but definitely did not do anything to make you feel welcome or improve the experience in any way. My co-worker ordered Pad Thai. He was also displeased. I tasted it. It was the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. Very wet and had no flavor. I do not recommend this unless you want to be extremely disappointed.

We started with the pot stickers in red curry. The curry was sinfully delicious. My wife had the Thai sea bass which was cooked perfectly. I had the mixed seafood that had just the right amount of heat for me. Excellent wine list and exceptional service. We will be back.

How refreshing to have an authentic Thai restaurant with friendly staff. The portions are fantastic with quality you can taste! I'm from Birmingham AL where the original Surin West is located and have been a loyal customer for more than 15 yrs. The owners chose Huntington to branch to and so did I. Truly great minds think alike. This city has so much potential for growth and I'm glad to be apart of it. I recommend the Shrimp Thai Fried Rice, coconut soup, Spicy Beef Salad, and Thai Tea.

Really enjoyed our meal. It was very authentic Thai food. I have been lucky to eat Thai food in a lot of different places L.A. to Boston and this was such a pleasure to find in Huntington. The owner Bia waited on us. She was personable and attentive. The food was delicious and the plating was a beautiful presentation. Bia let us know she grows a lot of the herbs and peppers they use right in her own yard. I love that! The atmosphere is well appointed and very clean. We will be going back.

In a word, we had a great first experience. Bea our waitress/owner was delightful. My wife and I travel for work and know our Thai food. Surin is among the top 4 in our travels from CA, to New Englang and many points in between. If you have never experienced Thai, you must. So many different flavors! Don't ever worry about a dish being too spicy. Most places have a simple 1 through 5 chilies. 5 being hottest. Ask Bea and she will make it right. We loved both of our dishes which had generous amounts of seafood in one, and duck in the other. Also, you have to try the chicken Satay. It is a marinated skewer of chicken with a peanut dipping sauce that perhaps was the best we have ever had. Surin also has a good beer and wine selection.

Just left there. Went there to place an order for me and my roommate. Waited 5 minutes when a lady came up and asked, "Can I help you?" Before i could answer she repeated herself. Looking at my phone I said, "Yes, I'm looking up my roommate's order." She walked away. I got her attention by saying, "I'm ready." She walked back and repeated herself again. I read the order. While I placed the order she stared at the floor. I asked, "I'm sorry, were you ready?" "Yes, I was just counting. Is that all?" she asked. I replied, "I would like to order as well. I've never eaten here before. Could you just put something together for me with fried rice and some kind of sweet chicken?" "Here is our menu." She said as she pushed one across the counter towards me. I told her that I had looked at that online before I came and it was like a novel. Before I could finish speaking she told me that there were pictures of their food on the screen saver on their wall behind the counter. I tried to ask a question and she interrupted again saying that there were pictures on the wall as well. I asked, "Could you just recommend something with those two items?" She answered, "No. There are pictures on there wall." I told her that that would be all then. "Are you sure?" she asked. I said, "Yes.", waited for my roommates order and left. First time customer treated with 1 star service. Same reason I don't eat at Rooster's. I'll never step foot in there again.

I ordered the Pad Prik Pork today, and it was delicious. I always enjoy Surin, and the lunch prices are incredible.

I highly caution anyone from weekday or lunch service. What. A. Rip. Off. First of all, the prices are high and the portions are small, so I expected good quality. I did not receive good quality. My Tom Yum soup for example was so inedibly salty it was like they gave me a bowl of pure fish sauce or pure soy sauce. It could not be eaten. My red curry had hard bits of inedible vegetables still attached to the flesh. You guys didn't think you should maybe trim off the stems and rough parts of your produce for a $20 dish?

I am SHOCKED at the level of 5 star reviews that this restaurant has received. I can only assume that the quality of staff from weekday to weekend is vastly inconsistent. Too bad the prices didn't match the quality!!!!!

I guess I'll never find out why some of the reviews are so glowing as I will never patronize this restaurant again and will warn my friends and family away as well.

Great good, awesome service. Generally when I eat somewhere any they advertise a dish as spicy, I'm not impressed. While not overwhelming, the food was just spicy enough to be enjoyable. Laid back and comfortable.

Special seafood is good

My husband and I ate here the first month they were open. We ordered one appetizer and one entree to share. With our drinks it cost around $50 but the entree was so big we even got to box it up to take home. The dish was so beautiful and tasted even better. We were SO impressed...
We've talked about them for months and months but always talked ourselves out of going because it's quite pricey.
Until today. We ordered through grub hub delivery service since we didn't feel like going out. I'm not sure if the restaurant itself has gone downhill or if they threw it together the way they did bc they knew we wouldn't be there to address it to their face.
We ordered the same dish. It looked like it came from a fast food China restaurant in the mall..
The food wasn't bad by any means but was definitely not worth half the money spent.
It was literally chicken and a piece of broccoli, when there was supposed to be peppers, onions, pineapples, etc. I understand that we didn't dine in but someone could have put in a little more effort than they did.

The service is horrible! They served a table that came in behind us that appeared to possibly be someone they knew. They were served an entire meal, before we even got our appetizer. Very rude!

Expensive. Delicious dishes and the hot tea is phenomenal. The atmosphere is a mixture of strip mall meets high-end dining. The dishes range from mild to hot in spiciness with rice being a major part.

I came to Huntington for a few weeks, travelling, and found this gem. Very flavorful food with great, helpful staff. Gotten the Tom yum shrimp and pad Thai almost every day since I've been in (roughly 2 weeks). Bia, the manager is super helpful if anything goes wrong (as can easily happen at any foreign food restaurant) and the waitresses are always smiling and friendly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for the best asian cuisine in Huntington.

I stopped in for lunch today and was seated for over ten minutes without being served. When the two people seated after me were served, I stood up and left. It appeared there weren't enough servers working. My experience may have been an outlier, but it should be recorded.

Love going here whenever I have a night out with my friend. It's not usually crowded and it's quiet. Close to the Marshall campus in right in the middle of Pullman Square. It's great.

I was in town on a business trip, and was taken to this establishment for a meal. It was great. The food was fantastic, and the staff was beyond great. For Huntington, WV, this was a great treat. I would suggest it to anyone who is in the area. A great experience.

Basil rolls had no basil. Service was okay and the panang curry was not too bad.

This place is excellent. If you're in the area, visiting this place is a must. I used to visit or get it to go weekly. We've since moved but we still come back to visit this place. The chicken curry is amazing, the chicken panang is also wonderful. For dessert I highly recommend the Thai custard. I usually don't get desserts at restaurants but trust me, you will not regret getting it. Warning: Thai Custard is green so don't be put off by it. Service here is also always great. Also, the entire restaurant is very clean and well decorated. Overall a great experience and well worth the money

Very good place to eat Thailand food in Huntington. Price is not cheap but food quality and excellent service are worth paying more. They do have wine and beer. Food can be cooked normal, mild, or spicy. The only thing I wish they had on the menu was pineapple fried rice.

The food was wonderful. I used to live in Thailand, My experience at Surin was like going to a first-rate restaurant there. I love larb chicken and couldn't not order it, but I also had Masaman beef. Came home with two boxes full after a too-large meal there. Service couldn't have been better.

My first time at Surin. I had the Broccoli with Chicken. It was very good once I added some of their house made chili spice. Recommended. I can hear all the making of fresh, hot food in the kitchen. Our entrées stayed in the window a little too long. They were not as hot as they should have been. They have a decent selection of beer and wine for a Thai restaurant. I'll definitely be back.

The food was very good came out fast once I got my order placed. The woman who greeted me at the door (maybe the owner?) She brought me to a table we talked about the menu she said she'd give me a moment to review. I could see her from my seat she was checking her phone. I would go back one more time, but if the service was the same I wouldn't go back a third time.

I am Thai who have lived in Huntington for almost 2 years. I would say this one provide the best Thai food in this area. The taste of the food is authentic and the ingredient always fresh and good quality. Also provided some dish that you would like to try such as Kra Proud Lamb.

I've been twice since opening and both times the food was great. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. He suggested that I try my new favorite menu item (green curry with chicken instead of shrimp). Awesome customer service!

lovely dinner today, Ordered the beef Masaman and was pleased by the quality of the chunk of beef, as well as the nicely a special red curry masaman sauce, potatoes, and carrots which accompanied it. The side of fresh basil roll was also generous. A very wonderful experience!

Thai Noodle, Namtok Beef and the Thai Seabass are my favorite dishes. The restaurant is pretty with friendly service. A lot of my Thai friends from Marshall love to order out. They love the foods there. Feel like home far away from home.

Food was terrible. Noodles were mushy. Chicken was old and slimy. Restaurant was poorly lit and menu selection was sparse at best.
