Cozy fine Thai dining
Definitely one of the tastiest and best pad Thai spots in Vancouver! Great and fast service, placed my order over the phone and 5-10 minutes later it was hot and ready!
Pad Thai with chicken: cooked perfectly and not too spicy or anything. It was just right and they added a lot of chicken (much more than other spots).
Pad Thai with tofu: my wife really liked it! Said it was tasty and they added lots of tofu as well.
Shrimp rolls: very fresh and nicely sized. Peanut sauce came with it and was very good.
Overall, all around great, give this place a try!
The best prepared Thai food I have had in years. I tried the drunken noodles based upon the reviews. Did not disappoint. Full of flavor, freshly prepared. My partner had the Pad Thai, which he pronounced as very good. We've tried Thai literally across the US in the past few years, and this is hands down the best. Plenty of vegetarian options. Simple interior, clean restroom. Great service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
Excellent lunch in a small restaurant setting.
Great service in this small , strip mall Thai restaurant. Thai Wok Kitchen was packed at lunchtime but we found 1 open booth. Even though the restaurant was full , our server came quickly and our order came out surprisingly fast.
The fresh rolls were excellent--fresh and full of goodies.
The Drunken Noodles--L3 on the lunch menu was loaded with pork and expertly prepared.
Ambiance was pleasant but not 1st date material.
Handicap doeable.
Reasonable prices
Final Take--Recommended
We are pretty picky about Thai food and this place did not disappoint! We managed to get to the restaurant a few minutes before 3 p.m., so we were able to get the lunch special. We ordered the Panang Curry and the Yakasoba. Both were fantastic! We also had the Cream Cheese Wontons as an appetizer which was also amazingly delicious! We loved their food down to the last bite. Highly recommend!
The food was VERY, VERY good. I went out on a limb and ordered something I've never tried or heard of and I am so, so happy that I did. It was called the Thai basil special and it was there special for the month of October. My wife and kids all ordered their own meals as well and all were fantastic. Highly recommended this place especially considering my daughter is CELIAC and this place tends to those needs. Atmosphere is as good as one could expect but the food speaks volumes.

Dirty place. A lot of flies.
This little restaurant has been open for some time now and I have eaten here before but it has been years.
Recently Facebook posted "top five reviewed restaurants in Vancouver on Yelp" and I wanted to try it out again and was not disappointed at all!
First I ordered the pot stickers (sorry no pictures) and I was not disappointed at all, had a lot of flavors and the sauce was very good. They lightly sprinkle a crunch topping over the pot stickers and it added a new depth to the taste.
For dinner I ordered the Kao Soii with chicken and you must be a peanut sauce lover! This sauce was so dang good and had just a little punch of heat to it! The egg noodles were just right and the pickled cabbage was really delicious! I highly recommend this dish!
I can see why this place has high marks on Yelp and I will be back and will order this dish again.
One thing I will start to do in my reviews is point out something that was missed at the restaurants in hopes that owners are reading what I have said see that maybe changes need to be made.
I found that the booths were not big guy with a belly friendly, from what I could see when I walked out the booths could be moved around and make them a little bit more comfortable.
Provide more napkins, it's a small request but serving a meal with a sauce and one thin napkin, messes are going to happen.
Lastly and this is something that will go away soon since summer is almost over is the fly issue in the restaurant, invest in the ultra blue light devices that help trap the bugs.
I ordered the yellow curry. It was good. But they only filled up the container half way… that’s messed up I didn’t spend 15$ for half a thing of curry…
I have tried the egg rolls, golden fried rice, yakisoba, holy basil, pad Thai, kao soi, house fried rice and all have been amazing. I no longer go anywhere else for Thai food. My favorite is probably the kao soi which I had never tried before but is super spicy which I love and the servings are generous. The service is great, very quick and kind. Prices are reasonable as well. 10/10 would recommend.
Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was super sweet!
This place was quite and beautiful. Very clean and the service was amazing. We loved all the food we got here. From potstickers, to crab rangoons. I got the fried rice and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. They did extremely well. I will be back here again if I’m in Vancouver!
My go to place for authentic, flavorful Thai food. Consistently good, never disappointed.
Never had a bad meal yet. The N2 is my favorite

Every dish I've ever had here is incredibly tasty! They have great customer service and awesome choices on the menu. The chicken Khao Soi Soup was extremely delicious, perfect ingredients, temp spice and all! Off fourth plain with easy parking always. I've tried almost everything of their menu over the several years that they've been open. All their noodle dishes and soups are phenomenonal! I'll forever be a customer, keep up the great work!
A friend treated me to dinner!! The garlic duck is amazing!!! 😋.
Update 7/2: We have been coming here almost 6 years and it is always very tasty. Today I was having a terrible day and I got home and saw that they included salad rolls on the house. Just wanted to say that it really helped my make day a little better. Thank you very much.
I love everything about this place!!
Great Thai food. High end of price and quantities are little smaller than other places.
Definitely would not recommend the orange, sweet n sour or garlic chicken. It's literally a frozen packaged breaded chicken (half was tiny ball pieces mostly breaded material) and they pour some sauce on it and charge $17. Small portion too.
Be aware dining in, 6 people they add a 18% gratuity, even though it's usually 1 person working and spends 99% of their time doing to go orders. Doesn't really merit 18% gratuity when there isn't a waiter. We almost felt like they were troubled by a dine in table. Food is expensive, so I would be nice if they would drop the 18% gratuity and rather be glad 6 people order $120 in food instead. We probably won't dine in with 6 again. Just really gives sticker shock at the end of dinner when we only saw an employee to get our order and refill water.
Deliciiuscand flavorful.
Friendly staff! Food was quickly prepared and was delicious!
Nice.
What a great meal. We were recently in San Francisco and the Thai Wok was equal to or better than the Thai restaurants in the Bay area.
MARCH 2024 Took out a plate of drunken noodles (medium spice) with chicken. Excellent. Too spicy for my wife so watch the "heat" level you order.
We love this place for take out. We've never actually eaten there. We get take out from here a couple of times per month. Good work folks!
The absolute best fresh rolls on the planet. They have a peanut sauce that is out of this world. I can not get enough of these. Will definitely be back for more. Great job!

We love this place! We are big Thai food fans and Thai Wok Kitchen doesn’t disappoint.
Our flavor: we like fresh/summer rolls, especially with a good peanut sauce. If you like that a maybe less known dish we discovered today is their Peanut Curry made with their house curry recipe.
The house curry wasn’t anywhere else on the menu, but has a massaman—peanut sort of vibe that pairs perfectly with the peanut sauce they add on top. Honestly, even without the peanut sauce the house curry is amazing. Totally worth a try!
Wow
My partner and I had a wonderful lunch the food was delicious and our waiter Sam was very kind and courteous
I moved to Vancouver 2 years ago and I live 3 mins away from here. And finally today tried it. Sorry I don't have a picture but tried the garlic duck. Was probably the best meal I've ever had. Can't believe I'd pass this place and never knew I had a gold gem of a restaurant right by me. Amazing food and service in a great clean restaurant. Definitely recommen this place. And I'll be back for sure. Also saled rolls with there peanut sauce is super amazing and pat tie was veery flavorful. My wife's dish lol I wanna try more seeing what others have posted
I’ve tried many of their dishes in their menu and haven’t been upset once.
Fried rice is legit
Fantastic, legit and fresh Thai food. Done just right and you won't be disappointed with the service or size of food. Seriously great place and hidden location.
Garlic duck, jungle noodles are my favorites so far.
Excellent lunch in a small restaurant setting.

Worse place to pick up food. I work for a food delivery service. The lady hands me a bag that is wet on the bottom. I asked her to put it inside another bag and she refused. Never again.
Flat out, the best yellow curry ever.
The employees were very kind and helpful, and the food was incredibly well prepared and flavorful! The atmosphere was cozy with hanging lights and large windows.
My favorite lunch spot to drive with friends. The drunken noodles are my favorite. The staff is beyond nice and attentive
Small, quiet restaurant serving delicious food. Gracious service with a smile!
I paid $59 for a meal for 2 and the Food was great until I found a clipping of a fingernail in my fried rice never returning here again!!!!
Really really good food, great portions, great service!
Thanks for dinner 😎
I don't know why this place is rated higher than the place by the airfield, but it is. They are definitely not as good. I asked for spicy level 3 of 4, it's mild. That wrong. The food is okay. Lots of sugar. I will not be back. I made a mistake by going to this spot instead of the better place.
I've eaten here several times and it was always amazing. Got take out this evening and everything tasted different than usual. Is there a new cook? I was really looking forward to all the flavor I'm used to, but I was really disappointed this time. The food was still good, but not as flavorful as the many times I've had it before.
Solid Thai food.
Great atmosphere and great food. Staff is super friendly and I highly recommend. Original Thai taste
The staff are friendly the food is consistently great highly recommended this place we eat here every two weeks
One of the few places I will give my money to these days. Thank you for all your hard work.
You should go here if... 1) you dont know what to eat and you want to try something new and super tasty. 2) your friends are coming over and you are too tired to prepare a meal. 3) you want the most bang for your buck!
The sweet and sour and spicy duck is superb. The meat is tender and the skin is crispy. Sauce is not overpowering. It goes well with the crab fried rice. Finish your meal with the sticky rice and go home happy.
Edit from 5-2 stars: April 2022. Ordered the same thing we usually eat just before the pandemic hit. Sad to say that the food is way different now. 1. Crab fried rice. Cant see any chunks of crabs. Cant even taste any crab because of too much soy sauce. 2. Duck Sweet and spicy. Way overcooked. We like our duck skin crispy but the one we had is very dry. Crispy, but way overcooked and dry. The meat has already this off taste, probably because of it being frozen for too long. The greens that came with it doesnt look fresh either. 3. Sticky Rice and Mango. Still good!
Edit the edit: Went again after a year because we are missing the usual set we eat from here. 1. Crab fried rice back to its normal goodness. 2. Spicy sweet and sour duck back to being good, crispy and juicy. 3. Sticky rice and mango. Still good. Whoever is in the kitchen knows what to do.
I am a thai food veteran. I have been to over 100 thai restaurants in my tenure. This is the best of them.
Edit: Went downhill after covid. Now Thai Little Home is the best in Vanc.
This restaurant was shockingly amazing, I wasn’t too sure what to expect however the food was great! Amazing portions and a good price. I have added it on my list of places to visit again. You should visit it soon.
Whisper it on the wind in quiet subdued tones, call it from the highest peaks whipped by chilled winds! Those two magic syllables, Curry! Like a prayer on a cold day or a song on a full moon, Curry! Hurry for Curry!
Specifically Peanut Curry!
Portioning carefully into white rice, the careful balance so you don’t end up with leftover rice or god forbid, leftover curry. A good bit of bite, but not overpowering, a delicate crunch to the veggies, savory and slightly sweet, and most importantly, a little brittle crunch to the roasted peanuts.
Why do I always break out in a sweat when eating curry? Thankful for the mild Lime balanced tea, thankful for the good service and the peaceful space to settle into my lunch and listen to a good book, not The Good Book, just a good book with a good narrator.
Good food and a good story, Vancouver may be missing a lot of things, but good Thai is not one of them.
Everyone there is amazing, best Thai restaurant I've ever been to
Overpriced.. nothing to write home about
I ordered pad see ew and most Thai restaurants add so much soy sauce that it's unbearably salty. Not Thai Wok! Perfect! I enjoyed my meal immensely and would go back. The food came out in 5 minutes, I swear.
The crab rice was good.
Had yellow curry, house fried rice and duck, everything was amazing
Great food and great service. We will be back
Great food, generous portions, fast and friendly service
So much fresh full flavor in their vegan green bean tofu panang and broccoli tofu peanut curries! So delicious! Yum. Be back soon!
Be sure to check the amount of your order. employees cheat and add extra money to your order. when asked why the cost are different, they say that the prices on the website are different. But I opened their website to them and showed that the prices on the website and in the cafe are the same. I didn't receive an answer. I paid $2 more and they weren't going to refund it to me. Be attentive
I was looking for a Thai place close to home, saw this online, and haven't been able to stop going there since. I probably spend at least $100 a week on food there, for myself.
Surprisingly upscale interior despite the neighborhood & surrounding area! Friendly staff, but I must admit I wasn't entirely blown away by the flavors (or prices). I think I can get better for cheaper elsewhere
Best Thai Food in Vancouver, WA by far. I've tried all of them. This one is the best. Great portions, good prices, fantastic quality. Always hot, even when delivered. My only suggestion for this restaurant is just that when I ask for extra spicy, I get a pretty normal level of spice. Please ignore the fact that I am a white girl on my Uber Eats profile pic... I like things REALLY spicy (painfully so). When I order extra spicy, I want to be in tears and my face to feel like it's melting off. Either make your Extra Spicy option spicier, or add an even spicier option! I think that would make many of your customers even more satisfied. That is all! Regardless, the food is DELICIOUS!!!
will not from here again! My boyfriend and I ordered pad Thai and requested peanut sauce in the bag. When I arrived I asked for teriyaki sauce also since I forgot to add it to the order. When I get home I realize there is no peanut sauce in the bag. So I call and ask about it and the lady tries to figure out any way to make it my fault. First she asked why I didn’t ask her about the peanut sauce at the same time that I asked about the teriyaki said and I replied “because I didn’t forget to add the peanut sauce order but I forgot to add the teriyaki sauce order so I expected it to be in the bag already.” Then she says “well it’s an extra change for that” and I told her that I already knew that because it says it on the website. I wouldn’t have ordered the pad Thai if I knew she wouldn’t have put the sauce inside of the bag. So then she puts the phone down for about a minute and then comes back to tell me she’s sorry she can’t do anything about it. I’ve had problems with this food place once before. Will not order here again.
Best fresh Thai food in Vancouver!
Best Thai food I tried.
This place is my go to lunch spot. They have a lunch menu available with great portions. If you're hesitating, don't! My absolute favorite is the yellow curry, but all of their food is great.
Had the rice paper spring rolls, fried tofu and pad see ew. I loved the texture and flavor of the flat rice noodles, but l I didn't love that the noodles were falling apart. The dish was somewhat dry (like a pad thai) so the noodles were sticky. Good but I will try something else next time.
My food was lukewarm when I got it , they might microwave their food. Also I ordered papaya salad , and didn't get any papaya with it? The food itself wasn't really anything special... there are much better Thai places.
Okay food but not great. We had the Pad Thai, Moon Crab, and Holy Basil. Pad Thai was okay, but turned out better when we reheated it. Moon Crab had inedibly-crunchy edges. Holy Basil was very dry. If there are no better options, you’ll be okay eating here. I hope there are better options out there.
Everything was great, 😁👍👍
Oh my God best I love there yellow curry everyone if want too try new foods and try new things come too Thai wok it's the best I'm telling me and my loving wife came here today try something new and we had a blast
We ordered from you guys last night. We were given some spring rolls on the house. It was great timing, me and my wife were tired, did not want to cook as we are back and forth from the hospital right now every day. So it was just incredibly appreciated. Of course your food is always delicious as well 😋. Thank you Thai wok!
been going here for 5 years. always consistent, always good. service always fantastic. makes it really difficult to venture out and try other thai places.
First time visiting this restaurant and I was very impressed with the level of service we received and how quickly our order was made with being a walk in without ordering ahead of time. I will be ordering from here again the next time I am in town.
A really great place to eat.. Love the coconut shrimp..
I love this place, they're super fast. I love their pad thai, and crab puffs..
I would have preferred not to have such loud Christmas music playing, and the service was a little abrupt, but the food was amazing as always. I am disappointed that they no longer have the jungle noodle dish, it was my favorite for so long. But still, the best Thai around!
The chicken pad thai is really good, and the coconut shrimp is amazing! Personally, wish it was spicier. They have a 4 level spicy scale. For prospective level 3 is veeerry tolerable (coming from a Mexican POV). Other than that amazing food and service! 🥰
Amazing food!!
Just ate at this cozy little restaurant for the first time. Can’t say enough good things. Clean, friendly…food was excellent! This is now our favorite Vancouver Thai restaurant!
It is always a bad sign when the egg rolls are over fried and mushy inside. How hard is it to make these instead of buying frozen? The Pad Thai was missing egg, bean sprouts and only had 3 little pieces of chicken. The limes were old and pale. Will not eat there again.
This place used to be my favorite Thai place in Vancouver but not anymore. I ordered couple times recently. The noodle was soggy and mushy specially the drunken noodle. The favor was not right. The salad rolls was so bad.
One of the best affordable Thai restaurants in town. Try their special crispy duck dishes
Delicious pineapple fried rice!
She recommended the dish, and it was very good
The BEST Thai restaurant you will EVER go to in your life. My girlfriend and I love to come and eat here almost once a week. Service is quick, the food is delicious and the staff are extremely nice. Highly recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing kao soi and duck! Staff is great as well. We loved it. They do great dishes with lots of flavor
This review is 3 weeks overdue!!! We have been looking for great Thai places after our relocation to Vancouver. We tried this place on a Friday afternoon!! Amazing service, delectable taste and hearty portions! Young lady, Sheri??? - on the phone was extremely courteous and cheerful - despite us requesting changes to our pick up time twice. This is definitely our go-to place! Thank you Thai Wok Kitchen Team!
My favorite place to eat! Amazing food, good service and amazing prices
This restaurant is super awesome! Legitimately one of the best curry fried rice dishes I have tried in the Vancouver area. They perfectly mix the flavors of curry spices into the rice and chicken, along with the herbs and green onions. I wish they put a little bit more chicken, but that's okay! The dish stood well on its own, don't even need the extra protein for taste. Service is also really nice, and fast. Small place, but a good amount of space to sit, and it's fairly clean. I definitely want to come back for more lunch specials!
Possibly the best khao soi I've had since visiting Chiang Mai, 4 stars only because I want to come back and try more!
Amazing food. Like you owe it to yourself to eat here.
At noon there was food all over the floor and only 1 other customer in the restaurant. We were given a dirty and stained teacup. The lime served with the Phad thai was dry and dessicated and the beef was chewy and gristly. We won't be back!
NICE FOOD...
Really not good.
We hadn’t had this place in about four years and I’d have to say that the food has went downhill. It did not taste fresh and we won’t be going back.
**Updated review. Something is... off, about Thai Wok these days. Dishes don't taste the same as they did before, sauce quantity is different, order accuracy is a fail, wide noodle dishes are largely shredded, mild is being made to a medium+, and there's VERY obvious indicators of cross contamination. Things like tapioca balls being found in our soup. Nothing we ordered has tapioca. And now one of the 4 eaters is sick with a food related stomach bug which times about right to our pick-up order.
Sorry to say, likely no more for us.**
Original post from two years ago below..
Fantastic Thai place, seriously. I usually get chicken pad see ew add mushrooms, other half gets pad thai or tofu veggie combo and egg rolls, and time after time dine in or take out the food is always extremely consistent and delicious. And while dining in, service is always friendly and prompt. Can't recommend enough if you need some awesome Thai food.
Excellent Thai food. I heartedly recommend.
They literally made me pay a $1 for this cuz I asked for another wedge of lime for my order. They are always so rude when you ask for a wedge of lime just seems unnecessary to me. I like their food but the lime thing always confuses me. I would go a lot to eat in with friends and they would always deny us anything more than 2 small wedges of lime for the table. They said they can’t give us more every time. It’s just weird I’m not asking for a lot I just like lime in my Phad Thai.
This place doesn't look like much, but the food is really good!
Gone sharply downhill. This was our go-to Thai spot in Vancouver but recently the portions and seasoning seem to have taken a nosedive. Branching out to find somewhere new, sadly.
Food was okay and service was slow. The spicy dish was not spicy at all; more sweet. Will not go back.
Amazing food, good prices, comfortable place to eat as well as good take out. 100% recommend this place.
One of the best Thai place, reasonable price and big portion!
Well, how to start. Thursday April 7th I came to Thai Wok Kitchen to have dinner.
I order Moon Crab and Orange Chicken. Everything seems to be ok.
I probably had walk two minutes out of the place and I started to filling sick. Making story short I probably have a major food poisoning. Today is Sunday, 3 days latter and I still feeling sick. If I could I'll give them ZERO stars.
Not cool at all. I spent money and tipped well to this. Never will eat there anymore and don't recommend to know one!
Super good, love the food especially since all my other Thai spots have closed down. Really wish they had calamari though.
Went for lunch. Good food. Good customer service. Would recommend having different sizes for soups.
The S1 tom yum and SP24 Yum Kai Zob were both so delicious and flavorful! and the moon crab were super tasty (:
This places food has my sister and I coming back for lunch time regularly! Every meal so far has been delicious!
Great service, great food and good size portions. Their Duck, Khao Soi, TomKa are some of my favorites.. I try to slip in a new dish each time I go and it’s always spot on.
Love the super spicy Pad Kee Mao.
Excellent curry’s and my new favorite Thai plce
Good food but don't expect the hot and sour soup to taste like Chinese hot and sour soup. Taste is good but the wrong mushrooms and sweet
Good food & great service!
This place is so good. I got Pad Thai for $13.50 and OMG it was so good and I got so much of it. My new favorite place!
The yakisoba was good. Im looking forward to trying more of the menu.
UPDATE: Thai Wok Kitchen continues to remain fabulous and the food remains the best in Vancouver. Dining in is back to normal with beautiful presentation and nice dishware and silverware. The service continues to be excellent. Especially Nita! 💯👌😊
Excellent service, cheerful and friendly. Fresh, delicious, excellent food. My favorites are the larb gai and phad thai. Beautiful presentation, fantastic taste. The place is small and not fancy, but the booths are private and comfortable. Really, this place can't be beat.
New favorite Thai place. The pad Thai and green curry are delicious and the medium spice level is PERFECT!
Thank you for being open on Christmas night! Staff handled the rush very well. Stayed polite, quiet, food was delicious.
Great customer service and delicious food!
The food here is exceptional! The staff is friendly and welcoming. Service was spot on. Will definitely return!
great portion size
Good non-oily Thai food. It was very delicious and the service was good too
I was disappointed with the flavor. The Orange chicken was a bust for me also.
The most delicious Thai meals I have ever eaten. I swear their Tom Kha is the best medicine for cold/sickness.
The only SOFT pot stickers I've found in Vancouver with any flavor and texture. Great stir-fry as well, not over-sauced.
The food and service were amazing! We'll definitely be stopping here again!
Excellent food and excellent service every time! Been coming here for years now and it is one of our favorite restaurants in Vancouver.
Awesome!
Great flavors/spices, cooked with love
I gave a five stars review in Yelp because the food quality and consistency was good. But recently, my food had been going down hill. I'm a go-to person. Last time I got a papaya salad which was so bad. First, it was more like a green bean salad. I don't mind its high price as long as it was good and I got what I paid for. But this was literally only raw green beans. I'll stop getting food from them for a while.
Some people from the area recommended this restaurant. We tried it and the food exceeded our expectations!
Mediocre at best. I went here due to the reviews and boy was I disappointed. I ordered the pad thai and it was dry and bland.
Came in order my food and watch her clean a very dirty table picked food from the floor cashed someone out and with out washing her hand start making my drinks I turn around and left and will never again go there.
I can count on Thai wok for the best Thai food I'm Vancouver. Don't let their location deceive you. They are always consistent and their staff is always kind and patient (even when witnessing deal with unruly customers). I suggest that the next time you are in the mood of actual good Thai food in Vancouver please consider them and not that overpriced played out one in downtown. Our favorites include Pai Thai, Pad See Ew and Kho Soi(sp?).
Best fresh salad rolls with shrimp, coconut shrimp and peanut sauce!!😋
Muy rico
Amazing food every single time. Today I ordered fried rice without soy sauce because I'm a celiac and when I called to double check wich I hate doing, but if I don't I'm in bet for 3 days and have full blown neuropathy, they were incredibly gracious on the phone and I found out not only was it made correctly but they use gluten free shoyu wich no human could tell the difference. Im beyond extatic and will most likely order even more often. Absolutely beyond happy.
