The wraps are seemingly huge, but they consist mainly of lettuce which isn't a knock on them - just that they will surprisingly fit into your belly.

Stop by BT today, decided to go with them seeing that they are directly next to two restaurants. I wanted some me times. I was greeted upon walking in. Before ordering the woman let me know to give her a couple minutes I appreciate that because I was ready to order when I got to the counter and no one was there but I remembered what she said. Someone came from the back, took my order she was pretty nice as well. Ordered red curry white rice, I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch without children lol I was asked if I was enjoying my meal, which I replied I was, thank you for your great service BT look forward to seeing you guys again!

Sorry, what I ate was NOT pad Thai. First, the wait was way too long for the food they made. Second, why was my pad Thai BRIGHT red?! And the noodles were 100% not the right noodles. Third, I got spicy level 2 on all 3 orders. And they all tasted like a 5. Awful first experience at BT Thai restaurant. Super disappointed. Waste of $60 for 3 meals (included a very generous tip since it was to go.) Better go to Royal Thai in Tacoma. That place is the best!

First time trying this place with a to go order and I’m so glad I did. I got Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Red Curry, and Scallop Wontons. My FAVORITE was the Pad Thai and I order peanut sauce that I added on top. I am definitely going back.

BT Thai tried to pass off of orange chicken with CHICKEN NUGGETS. The fact that any establishment thought that this was okay is beyond me AND charged $22 for it.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Tacoma-Lakewood area. Service is always great, staff is friendly, and the food is delicious!! I highly recommend the noodles curry!

I've eaten a lot of Thai food here in the US and a bit in Singapore. I really like BT Thai! We've been there a handful of times. The service and food is great. When I ask for 5 stars, they apply quite a bit of spice, and for those that want it to be not spicy, they do a good job at that too. Service has always been friendly and prompt. We'll be going back for sure. I'd recommend checking it out if you haven't yet.

Hot and fresh, great service

A small dine in, delicious Thai food every time. The small setting makes service top notch even when busy. They also serve a few alcoholic beverages. Personally I like to get pad thai and a thai iced coffee. Takeout is fast and easy. Also available on DoorDash.

They tried to charge me double the price for extra noodles with my dish. Very rude and unprofessional.

Always on the hunt for a new Thai place and just happened to come across this place off of a Google search. What a find. Small restaurant with a charming interior. Once I saw the yard art Roosters, (love yard art), I knew it would be good. The woman who waited on us was so friendly, I felt like I had known her for years. She was very helpful with our selection and understanding the spice level. We chose the Pad Thai with chicken and peanut sauce on the side. It was tasty and the portion size was very generous. We should have ordered one serving and split the meal but we didn’t mind because we both ended up a to go box. I had it for lunch the next day and it was just as tasty. The restaurant is in a small strip mall so parking is tight, but I highly recommend giving them a visit.

BT Thai was recommended by my Thai food "snob" friend so I knew it was going to be good! We ordered pad thai chicken and beef black pepper, both of which were outstanding. Six stars on the 1 to 10 scale was spicy enough but leaning towards a seven on our next trip.
The order was ready when we arrived and was still hot when we got home. The only problem I have is not ordering something different from the menu as these two are just soooooo good!!

Since I have only done takeout here it would be difficult to rate the "Atmosphere" other than to say it is clean and quaint, as in just a handful of tables for dining in since it is in a strip mall.

If you’re looking for great Thai food this is the place to go!

Over a year in the making, I've become a loyal fan of BT Thai through my door dash experience. It's one of the few thai restaurants that offer togo and don't skimp on quality, flavor or heat. However, I've longed to experience this restaurant in person and I was throughly impressed. The plating, presentation and service were equally as incredible as the food. The kindness shown in our experience is also reflected in the food.
Furthermore, any place willing to tell you if you ask for it, and can't handle the heat, don't expect a refund is my kind of place ;) we can't wait to return!

Tonight I tried getting something different again and I saw they had orange chicken on the menu. What I got was pre frozen chicken nuggets drowned in sauce. Chicken nuggets for almost $20 . $18.95 to be exact. Now I understand with the last few years prices have gone up and businesses especially small businesses have had to adjust. But I'm gonna be a karen here and say this is ridiculous

"Crispy Orange Chicken" was basically chicken nuggets in an orange sauce. Tiny portion for $19, low quality and not as advertised.

They have no indoor seating because of the pandemic. That’s understandable. The food is okay. It’s a hit and miss sometimes.

Almost 5 stars, the food is really good and the prices are great! However their packaging is absolutely terrible! Our bag was filled with sauce when we got home and every box was soggy and wet!

The Mango sticky rice BOMB! I loved the seafood pad Thai, because it literally had everything in there including squid. Not really a fan of the lemon Thai iced tea though. Also everyone should try the MANGO STICKY RICE now...one dessert shouldn’t be that tasty.

SPIDER IN FOOD

I recently discovered this place via Uber Eats and had ordered from them a few times. Today, I ordered Basil Fried Rice, and there was a spider in it. I hope I didn't eat spider eggs.

The food is pretty good especially the tom yum 😋 i would of rated higher but the to go packaging is really poor. The thin cardboard boxes had absolutely fallen apart and the sauce was all over the bottom of the bag from both entrées.

Amazing portions and authentic pad Thai! So far, every Thai place we have tried has failed in comparison. We order about once a week and the food is always great. I also appreciate the steps they've taken to protect their customers from COVID.

Rude staff and the food took forever....they also explained to me that if I walk in there without a map which is a law which it's actually not and it's a mandate anyways they said they would not be able to hand me the food I said that's fine that's on the customer then that's your guys's customer not mine. I ordered the wrong dish that had way to much dry chicken; very dry. However, #4 Fresh cold spring rolls were very delicious and portions were superb for the price but the sauce was a peanut sauce and that was ok - not enough for the spring rolls which we had to order more sauce. Later, learned from a couple, to order #50 which is a pork dish, and the pineapple fried rice. Ok. That's my take for now. Will attempt this place again and try a different dish.

I got the chicken pad kee mao and steamed pot stickers,so awful. The staff was polite the restaurant looked really clean but you can get better thai literally anywhere else in Tacoma. No flavor in the noodles and the steamed pot stickers were runny inside and the dipping sauce was not good at all. Go elsewhere.

Their Pad Thai taste like it's from a package. Has no distinct flavor at all. Their Salad Rolls are two big rolls with Iceberg Salad and Tofu 😨😨😨. Just a very generic and very BLAND restaurant.

I decided to try a new Thai restaurant based on reviews. Everytime I try a new place I order 3* just to be safe. I am glad i did. I have never received my pad thai so spicy it literally looks pink. Easily a 5*. My lips are burning. I do like spicy, but wasn't prepared for this level of spice. Flavors other wise were ok. Chicken tasted cheap/overcooked, had to pick it out.

Pros: Cute decor. Friendly service. Right spice level and tasty seasoning.
Cons: Vegetables and mussels were were overcooked. There were a bunch of crunchy, gross bits of something in the food that turned me off what otherwise would have been a good meal. It seemed like dried bits of noodles or rice or something maybe left on the pan.

I found this restaurant door dashing and instantly fell in love. After work I ordered some food from a menu I picked up from there store (door dashing) and everything was amazing. Originally from the East Coast I tend to look for food that reminds me of home. BT Thai has THEE most delicious Shrimp Fried Rice YUM! Their Chicken See Ew is OMG amazing and cooked perfect. The chicken wings and eggrolls were very good too. $40 for all that food (4 boxes)! Only downfall is there is no CLEAR menu online just an image that blurs when you zoom in to see but def worth going in and grabbing one.

Food is delicious, fresh and I got my order pretty fast. The staff is friendly and attentive. They will explain any dish of your interest and can customize your dish if you'd like. I had a pleasant experience and will definitely come back and try something new.

Awesome spot for authentic thai at a reasonable price!

First time visit for lunch today after seeing positive reviews in the newspaper. I was not disappointed. Greeted and served by a very friendly and helpful waitress. Warm decor inside and comfortable seating. I had the lunch special red curry and tofu spring rolls. The spring rolls are huge, nearly a meal itself if dining solo. Served with a warm peanut sauce which was a nice surprise. The curry was flavorful and good balance of meat and veggies to sauce. All in all a very tasty and good dining experience. I will be returning.
