For a truly authentic taste of Thailand and pleasant ambiance dining experience, come and discover Chili Thai.
Small place opposite the mall. I like the little places, most of the time it's the best food. Maybe 12 tables, but hard to count because some were pushed together. I had the chicken Kee Mao (drunken noodle), and it was great! Heat level 3, which might be hot for some because it was just right for me. I ate so much that I could explode and still have another plate for tomorrow. My dinner came out hot and fast. Place is clean, and I saw tables getting cleared as soon as the people got up. Super friendly staff. I think the menu has around 100 items on it to include a special duck Kee Mau just for the holiday. Almost forgot to mention the cute little dishes for soy, hot sauce, and two other things I don't know what they are.
They also offer, door dash, Uber eats, and grub hub.

Just brought my disabled elderly friend in for a special lunch, as she is sick of nursing home food and was craving Asian cuisine. It was a better treat than I expected! The lunch specials were perfect for smaller appetite size. I had Basil Chicken with fried rice, and it was so authentically Thai, perfectly balanced with spice and seasoning. Loved the spring rolls with plum sauce also. Staff is super professional, atmosphere is actually beautiful. I want to try their Happy Hour with my husband next time! Glad we discovered this place as from the parking lot view, you don’t realize just how nice it is!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chili Thai, and had an outstanding experience! I loved the Papaya salad -- a vibrant and refreshing papaya salad with bit of carrot, tomato, and beans -- a delightful explosion of tart and savory flavors! The freshness of the ingredients really shines through, and the service is great!
I ordered the Miang Kum appetizer. A very fun dish to make and eat, flavor bombs! The sauce is honey based, delicious. The Rad Nah with beef was wonderful as well.
They have happy hour 3-6 pm, order 2 entrees and get spring rolls. Drinks by the glass on special at those times.
Will come back to try other dishes.
Delicious Thai cuisine. Chili Thai came highly recommended to me by a local and he was absolutely right. The Tom Kah soup was the best I have had in a long time. Their portion size is generous and their service is kind and courteous. Note, there is a military discount on Monday.
The fried rice is extremely greasy, you can taste the grease on it. The shrimp is chewy like rubber and does not taste like shrimp at all. The noodles had grease dripping off of them. And the prices are outrageously high for the quality and portion of the food. So disappointed stopped at gas station to get a candy bar to get the greasy taste out my mouth. 1/14/2025
Great food, great staff.

Had the chicken tom yum, don't recommend chicken because it is a little dry.. I d recommend it with shrimp. It's delicious
Very kind folks work here..

Pad kee mao came with narrow rice noodles, not the usual wide noodles. Sauce was skimpy. Flavor was good, but I ordered four stars, and it wasn't very spicy.
Also, I asked for the tofu to be kept out of the deep frier and I'm not sure that happened. I'm Celiac and didn't get sick, so I'm not sure about that, because normally that would do it for me. Maybe the tofu was just that beautifully crispy from the wok, and I'm just being paranoid. Anyway, it's not bad, and any Thai port in a rural-ish storm is my motto. I'll probably go back.

Really enjoyed our lunch
Food is good, but don't order the chicken Basil it tastes like shrimp. They overdid it with the oyster sauce. Service is wonderful.
Food absolutely delicious Great atmosphere beautifully decorated
Are you good experience, food was delicious.

Excellent Thai food with authentic dishes and flavors. We have been here several times, each time food was very fresh, with great spice level. Highly recommend.
Good food
Always great!
First time trying this place out. I got food to go, so I had limited service experience, but what interaction I did have was great. My food was ready in less than 15 minutes, without calling ahead, and it was an order for three. The food was delicious! We all said we'd definitely go there again!
We regularly eat Drunken Noodles 🍜
Incredible food. Super flavorful and saucy noodles.
Very nice lunch experience. The food was tasty and quickly served. The staff was friendly. Would definitely return.
I went in and asked if they could refill my water bottle and the lady said no and tried to walk away. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. (She could told me a price and that would be different) It's the fact she said no and tried to walk away
Kind service & delicious food. Recommend the eggplant tofu, ginger veggie, egg rolls, and sticky rice.
Was decent. Nothing too special. Crab rangoons were good
I love this restaurant. I believe it's the best one in Silverdale. Super good. I always want to go
Food was good. Server not very pleasant.
Probably the best thai I've had in kitsap and I've tried several, multiple times! Our server was very attentive and polite, which made for a very chill atmosphere. I will 100% be back!
One of the best Thai place around
Fast, friendly service. Good food.
~~UPDATED & NEW FEEDBACK ON THIS RESTAURANT~~
On April 25th, 2024, hubby and I decided to revisit Chili Thai. Four years is a long time, and it was due for an update.
For those unfamiliar with the area, Chili Thai is nestled in the Ross Plaza, a bustling hub just off Silverdale Way. Its location is a convenient spot for locals and visitors to indulge in authentic Thai cuisine, and do a little shopping.
As for the restaurant's ambiance, it remained unchanged from our previous visit. The interior was clean, tastefully decorated with Thai-inspired decorations. The restaurant had warm and inviting atmosphere.
Our dining experience took an unexpected turn when we were seated right next to a lady who, oblivious to restaurant etiquette and ambiance, decided to have a loud (over the speaker) phone conversation while waiting for her friend. This situation, unfortunately, significantly disrupted our dining experience.
We ordered and could only hold a little conversation ourselves; we tried but were always overdone by the oblivious customer.
Our food arrived, and so did her friend. YAY, two extremely loud people to listen to.
About twenty minutes into our meal, another lady arrived and sat two tables over. Unfortunately, she decided to have a video conversation, which was a distracting, and also rude. While we understand that everyone has different dining preferences or styles, we believe it's important to respect the shared space.
So, there is my rant, onward to the food.
My hubby had the Cashew Chicken with brown rice. The dish was a colorful mix with the sautéed chicken, cashew nuts, mushrooms, straw mushrooms, baby corn, bell peppers, and onions. The taste was good, but not exceptional, according to my hubby. The chicken was tender, and the cashews added a nice crunch, but he felt that the flavors could have been more pronounced.
I had Chili Thai Noodles. Yellow egg noodles with prawns, BBQ pork, egg, spinach, bean sprouts and green onions. The flavors were there, but I feel it should have been listed under "salad" rather than "noodles". Yes, It had some noodles, but, if I'm honest, there wasn't a lot. The dish provided plenty of vegetables, but lacked on quantity as far as the noodles go.
Overall, food experience was good but the atmosphere (due to the people with phones) was distracting and disappointing. I really wish our server would have said something to these people.
Our server was friendly enough, not extremely chatty, but that is ok because I doubt we'd be able to hear anything she was saying due to the mannerism of the insensitive customers.
PLEASE PLEASE for anyone dining, take your calls outside the restaurant or lower your voice, trust me, no one wants to or cares to hear what your saying. And it's called table manners, not entitlement.
*PLEASE be kind to ALL living things*
The fresh rolls with peanut sauce are excellent.
We had the Hot Spicy Basil Noodles, Garlic Chicken, and Fresh Roll appetizer. The portions weren't huge, but it was enough for the three of us.
Our server was nice, but distracted. Nice plating of all the dishes and pleasant atmosphere inside, even though it's in a strip shopping center (common in the area).
Delicious! Authentic Thai for sure. I got the curry with spice level one and it still had kick, which yay! Spicy equals authentic Thai to me. Can’t wait to come back and try more! The spring rolls are also some of the best I’ve ever had! Really good food! Glad they are here :)
Very good food and service!
Stopped in randomly after my intended restaurant destination was closed for the day. Pad Thai is the best I've had in a long time. Tom kha gai (soup) is pretty tasty as well. Service is great!
Fabulous food. Excellent Thai
I am not sure why this chili thai restuarant doesn't have 4.9999 stars but it doesn't. Incorrectly. I am a thai restuarant connoisseur and this place is the best I've had. Every dish was fantastic 10 of 10. The pad thai was brown with correct amount of sauce and an edible flower. Pad see ew was so savory and yummy with great veggies. The ginger veggies were dish de lish. The crispy chicken had the perfect crunch and soft quality chicken with a delish sauce. 10 from resounding 10.
Great food, fast service and good price. We ordered green curry waw, soup mmm, and papaya salad!! Mango sticky rice amazing. We lovedit!!!
We have been twice. Food is consistently great. Took the kids the 2nd time and they had something for everyone. Child's plate is perfect for picky eaters.
Excellent service in a pretty atmosphere filled with flowers. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Lots of choices. Two main dishes were plenty for the two of us. We will return for sure.
Absolutely delicious
We love the food there; staff is friendly
I think this is now the best that in Silverdale. Very authentic dishes and wonderful staff.
Awesome place awesome food!!
The staff was very attentive to us, we did not have to wait long at all to order/get water/get a to-go box. The food came out super fast and was delicious!
The best pad thai I've found in Silverdale!
Reasonable prices, food is authentic and good. Only comment is that for those of us who have lived in Thailand, their level 5 five spiciness is americanized to about a 2, so ask for chili paste as a side if you like it really spicy
Nice decor and ambience. Staff very friendly. I would probably order a different dish. It wasn’t bad, I was not a fan of the yellow noodles and the sauce was sweeter than I’m used to but spice level was on point! Our first time here and it was a learning curve. My sister had a soup bowl and from she said it was delicious, especially the broth. I would go back again and try another selection. There are quite a few items on the menu, so I am more than willing to go try again.
Stopped here for lunch a couple days ago, and it was so good!! I got Pad Thai, Moo Yang pork, and Pad Woon Sen. Big portions and the flavors were all great. I really loved the Moo Yang pork and I highly recommend it. The pork had such a good marinate and grilled flavor. The dipping sauce was sweet, sour and tangy. Not spicy in my opinion. Service was also great.
The lady was very sweet and attentive.
I took my disabled parent there and they were very helpful and accommodating. They were active about keeping the place clean. The restroom are for customers only and are super clean. A bug landed on my mom and they took care of it immediately. They wipe down not just the table but the seats and the floor around the table when someone leaves. They had food variety I have never seen on a Thai restaurant menu before and showed pictures. They had of course the usual items and meats but also had a plethora of fish options including salmon and a couple seafood combinations dishes that had crab, mussels, calamari etc. and the prices were below $20 a plate for the most expensive combination seafood dishes. I ordered off script for me and tried a dish, crispy chicken, delicious. Mom ordered her usual and we ordered a couple appetizers. Outstanding! At the end, they brought the credit card reader to me so I never had to let go of my card. And even after we paid they continued to fill our water and check on us. 10/10!
A true 3-star rating:
PROS
1. Some of the most delicious Thai food in Kitsap
2. When they get it right, it's mind-blowingly right. I'm a self-styled connoisseur of Tom Yum (savory lime and spices) and Tom Kah (coconut and Thai seasonings) soups.
CONS
1. There is no standard, it seems, in the kitchen. From one shift to the next, cooks use their personal preferences as the standard, especially when it comes to spice levels 0-5.
2. Result of this is akin to playing Russian Roulette. Anecdote: I was at the end of my rope from hospital food failures, and I just wanted something I LIKED for dinner. Tom Yum is the king of flavor in this situation. I like spicy but wanted to share, so I chose 2/5 stars. I couldn't really taste any heat, so it was a flop on my end. Couple of days later, still in the hospital, I ordered the Tom Kha, choosing spice level 3/5. It was nuclear spicy. NOBODY could get any down.
3. Pricing would be perfect if they got it right reliably, but with tax and tip, it's over $20 per bowl.
CONCLUSION: Thai food for over $20 should not be like a box of chocolates, Forrest! I'm taking a step back for several months to give the place time to sort things out. It really is perfect when this restaurant gets things right
We dropped in on a weeknight an hour before closing. Sometimes restaurants make you feel pressured before closing but they were so nice and all smiles. Didn’t rush us. The restaurant was very clean and the food was so good!
Really delicious fresh food. Enjoyed the Massaman and papaya salad very much. Also a tasty Thai tea.
This was my first visit to Chili Thai. Based on the high rating, I was expecting a better experience. There was nothing wrong with the food, but it was just average. I tried the crab wontons (a bit greasy) and pad see eiw (a bit watery). Both dishes were flavorful. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. I plan to return another time with my sister and will update my review based on how that visit goes.
Very good food.
Good and friendly service. The good was good and tasted hot and fresh.
The pad Thai was good and the green curry sauce was very nice. The portions where a bit on the smaller side, for the cost, and for a hungry family. I would probably eat here again, but only if I was solo.
The food is great and the service is excellent . Everything is fresh and hot when it arrives at your table. I like my Thai food spicy and Chili Thai delivers
The pad thai was okay. The tum kah was decent. The flavor was a little bit more mild than I was used to. And that's totally okay. Some people have different preferences. That's fine. The mango sticky rice was very delicious. I ended up getting food poisoning though. It was either from this, or from that watermelon I ate. Not actually sure if you can get food poisoning from watermelon that's been refrigerated and is still kind of crispy.
Anyways. The mango sticky rice was good.
Delicious, fresh Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Everything was wonderful.
Been here twice, and both times the food was pretty good, but not the best Thai I've had. All ingredients tasted fresh, just lacked a little flavor. Granted I do have to order gluten free and lower on the spice, which I suspect affects overall flavor. I love Thai food and will continue to be back and try more dishes. The service there was great as well as the decor, clean bathrooms.
My wife and I ate here and really enjoyed it. She always orders Phad See ew where ever we go and she thought that Chili Thai's version was excellent. I ordered the House spicy noodles and it was really good. The place was clean and the service was friendly and quick. We will definitely go back.
Excellent food! Wonderful service and friendly atmosphere.
It is important to note that dishes may include undisclosed seafood ingredients. Make sure to ask and double check if you have an allergy or aversion. After some back and forth management did try to correct the issue with our order which I do appreciate.
I am a fan of spicy food and ordered noodles at maximum heat. Unfortunately the taste was off. There was little heat and instead an overwhelming fish / rancid flavor. My partner tried it and immediately commented on the bad taste and lack of spice. I can eat almost anything, even things I don’t like out of spite, but couldn’t tolerate more than a bite or two.
The yellow curry has pretty good flavor and they give a fair portion. I think they have other enjoyable dishes to try, just be sure to double check if you’re sensitive to fish.
Overall, excellent! Decent prices, decent customer service, decent food. The Red curry was a hit! The pork fired rice was a bit bland but that’s easy to fix. The ginger chicken ….. not very good at all!! Customer service - 5 stars!! We will go back and so far the best Thai restaurant in Kitsap county!
Very good and pretty food. Recommend requesting plastic ware for takeout.
The yellow beef curry was amazing and yummy! Good price meal. Good portion. Definitely reccomend splurging and getting a beverage off the menu. VERY clean place! Will be back for more 😊
Great food!! Always my go to for Thai!
After trying the eggplant with tofu, I was still curious to try their soup. So, I took half of my eggplant dish to-go and decided to do the same with the soup.
The waitress put half in a container and half in my bowl. It was still a lot of amazingly delicious soup.
I’ll be bringing my family and friends next time.
I ordered through Door Dash ahead of time for a specific time, using the app to choose a time. Instead, they made it immediately... 25 minutes before I could even arrive. I called and they told me "it's done" and "we are busy" and "we'll keep it warm." I contacted Door Dash who contacted the restaurant and they told Door Dash that they would make a fresh order.... they lied. It wasn't fresh and wasn't in the warmer, it was sitting on the counter.
Food was good, but the outright lying was not. We will go back to our other Thai choices.
The staff was so friendly. They loved interacting with my toddlers. The food was great and at a great price. We will be coming back for sure.
Great food, gracious service. Clean. New favorite. (Only been twice.)
Great food & vibe.
Really nice restaurant. Great food, service and setting.
This is by far my favorite Thai place. I drive 45 min to go here. I am never disappointed and have yet to find another Thai place except one in Tacoma that even comes close.
The place is clean..I was the only person in the restaurant for dine. I got seated about 3 minutes later I got my water. Another 10 minutes passed before I was asked if I was ready to order. Ordered garlic chicken. 5 star. It was not spicy as I would like but it had a bitter after taste. I was not offered the spice rack I had to ask for some condiments like spicy fish sauce n chili flakes. Overall it's not too bad but not sure if I would go back
I got green curry 🍛 my daughter got yellow curry and we tried the appetizer sampler. I may be biased because I love Thai + curry so much, but I thought it was amazing. 🤩 Highly recommend and we WILL be back. Lovely staff too!!!
Cute place with authentic food!
Super fast, great quality food, second time there still super impressed.
Went here with some good friends and we all loved the service, the setting, and the food!! Pad thai was delicious and the larb was flavorful! We also got Pad See ew, Panang Curry, and Kee Mao - Drunken Noodles. All were fantastic and good size for the price! Oh and I can't forget the Thai Tea as well. Yumm haha. Would definitely come again~
Picked this place for a quick lunch when in Silverdale and were positively surprised.
Struggled to find it as on google it still shows with a different name but they are now called Chili Thai.
Very good food. My first Pad Thai since having been to Thailand and it certainly lived up.
Very affordable food compared to some chain places in the area. We’ll be back
The restaurant rebranded to “Chili Thai.” I ordered dine-in “Fish cake” nice texture, a little bouncy with a taste of curry, and “Glass noodle salad,” a house style, very tasty, not overly spicy. Also, take out “Laab,” “Crab wanton,” and “Pineapple fried rice.” The Pineapple fried rice was my least favorite because the fresh pineapple here wasn’t sweet. But the fried itself was perfect.
New name: Chili Thai, formerly Phad Thai, under new ownership since 10/15/2021. Small restaurant near Ross in Silverdale.
Tasteful decor, friendly and efficient service. Ample portions, excellent food!
Only issue was the jasmine tea wasn't very hot.
Will definitely return soon.
The food is great, I like their pad thai. They're fried spring rolls are pretty bomb. Enjoyable Thai coffee as well and a great atmosphere all around. I've been here twice and love the food every time. Super friendly customer service.
I’ll love their Pad Thai and fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls come with a delicious peanut sauce, that I just love to smother them in. Always great customer service and welcoming environment.
Good place to go if you want okay Thai food. The yellow curry was pretty watered down and lacked flavor, but the Pad See Ew was decent. The portions sizes are small for the price.
Hands down, THE best hot and sour soup I've ever had. So many vegetables, all fresh! Thin rice noodles and a perfectly balanced broth which they customize to taste for you.
All of their food is very good but for me, the highlight of life is a perfect hot and sour soup.
They're always quick, polite, clean, and conscientious of social distancing.
Can't recommend Phad Thai enough! Go, take a gander at the menu for a bit, pick something - you won't be disappointed
They're only doing take-out for now, but it's still the same great meal. Princess platter, combo fried rice, and 2 thai teas.
Pad thai and beef fried rice were pretty good albeit a little on the expensive side
The customer service here was great and the place seemed clean. However, the food was terrible. We got the Thai special fried rice and pad see ew. Both were extremely bland, the meat was dry, and unimpressive overall. The portion of fried rice was fine, however the pad see ew was significantly smaller. It seemed like just a handful of noodles. Would not recommend and would not go back.
This is my favorite local restaurant. Best soup! I love this place!!!
Online menu is incorrect
Wonderful service, fantastic ambiance and atmosphere, authentic and delicious Thai food! The best part is they really care for their customers. I’ve been ordering from here regularly for the past year and the food is consistently great, with fast service. Only ever had one mistake and the staff took care of it promptly and sufficiently, making sure that I was happy and satisfied. Try the Massamun curry, spicy with shrimp! You can’t go wrong with the spicy Pad Thai! Keep good restaurants like this one in business!
Amazing food.
We just ordered lunch take-out; assorted vegetable delux and beef phad kee mao. While the flavors were good and the food fresh and hot the prices were high and the portions were smaller than our last visits. Dinner prices ($27 plus)with smaller than lunch portions. I want to support small businesses but I don't believe this is one I will return to. I feel cheated.
big fan of the prices and the food quality here!
The lady at the front is the nicest person on the planet. Highly recommended.
Amazing!! They have such delicious Thai food.
This is the best place for phad thai in Silverdale
Must have Angel Wings
The food is Delicious, they are very attentive, the portions favorable, and the cleanliness impeccable. Warm invitingly colors. Will dine there again.
Very good food
The dishes were very delicious and service was great!
I love this place! Try the Angel Wings appetizer, Princess Chicken, and the Imperial rice. The servers are very nice and fast.
The food is amazing.
Good solid Thai restaurant - you cannot go wrong!
I really like this place my favorite is noodles vegetable and chicken N3. They do a really good job
Phad Thai is really good. Nice, relaxing and very friendly staff.
Just all over a bad experience. Got a pick up order and firstly they forgot one of the main dishes of our order off the whole ticket and had to be reordered and picked up again.
The spring rolls were painfully average, the cashew chicken was swimming in fish sauce and even though we asked for no spice, there was quite a bunch on it. The pad kee mao didn't taste anything like it was supposed to and was severely under spiced and the pad thai was really bad for a place with that as its name (also severely underspiced).
Just. Don't bother here. Its not worth your time.
Tried the sweet and sour pork or chicken it was good 😋 but way too many veggies
Excellent Thai food at a good price.
Great Thai food!
My boyfriend and I love this place. The food is always delicious. The waitress who's always there is so sweet and helpful. We always make sure to tip big if we can. Never a bad experience
Good Thai food in Silverdale
Have been there 3 times midweek for lunches. Never crowded on the "off" days, sadly. Today I had the garlic lovers vegs with pork, #2 hot level. Sauce terrific, pork maybe a tad overcooked. Over 20 inexpensive "lunch specials". Do try them!
The family that runs this business are professional and accommodating. Not only that, but kind. Your cup is never halfway full here. Pun intended. The cook is willing to alter recipies for food allergies, in my case especially. Their service is VERY fast. The atmosphere is not overwhelmingly loud; it is very relaxing to eat at the restaurant. You recieve 5/5 star service and food here, I absolutely recommend.
Always great food perfect service
The phai thai had great flavor, but a 3 star was not at all hot.
Good tastes
Food is great. Staff is nice and fast.
Always great food and service!
If you have never had angel wings, they are the vmbest here. I am always a big phan of phad Thai all the time, did I mention the angel wings make a great snack .Anyways, if you eat the phad must squeeze the lime jucju on it .And eat the angel wingz .
Pretty fast service. Pad thai was great. Divine curry was even better but i odder the spice level at 3 out of 5. Should have went higher. Will definitely return.
Staff was courteous and the restaurant is very clean. Nothing jaw-dropping amazing.
Bottom Line: Excellent Phad Thai, perfect place to "switch things up"
Some booths are traditional seating, meaning you have to really get into a seating arrangement. Attentive service from the staff. Decorations are on the boarder of "cluttered" and "rich with culture". No changing table in the restroom and no infant seats (car seat slings). It would be very easy to become a regualar customer for the quality of the food and the small customer base.
