Gourmet Thai Style Cuisine
Well It's a Sunday Oct 6th at about 8:45pm. all of these places close at 9pm. I tried calling Yum Yum Thia twice and they hung up on me without answering twice... I get it. I've worked in restaurants before... BUT THAI BISTRO did answer!
The lady Mas whom took my order for panang curry and a side of rice was sweet and had excellent customer service skills!
She did (understandably) confirm that I would be there in 5 minutes before they close, which I was, and everything was great!
Just wanted to say I was thankful that they took my call and made my order and such sure notice and that Mas was sweet! ...and I appreciated it so much!
I think they've earned a new regular customer even if yum yum Thai is a mile closer... I'm probably going to go to Thai Bistro from now on because of Mas and the customer service this bistro provides!
I've ordered here several times the past. Always was great food, but overpriced.
This time it was $78 for two Pad Thais, some cury sauce and some lettuce roles for delivery.
It was stale, noodles, dry chicken and gritty something...
Absolutely awful. I received a partial refund because the Pad Thai wasn't edible.
I went to Thai Bistro recently for my first time. I ordered panang beef. It was delicious. My friends really enjoyed their meals as well. The inside of the restaurant is decorated very nicely. Definitely will go back again.
Edit: even more delicious in person! The sweet chili chicken is so good it's borderline addicting. We've been eating from here for a few months now (delivery and dine-in) and have always had a great experience. My partner loves the avocado curry and our friends love the red curry with duck.
We have gotten delivery via grubhub from Thai Bistro a couple times and it's always been delicious! The curries and fried rice are good and the crab ragoons are super good, one of my favorite items. Serving sizes are generous and leave room for leftovers. Love this place!
Great Thai selection and flavor, but I just can't warrant the price. Small app, one Thai tea and two entrées came to over $60. All their non noodle entrées didn't come with rice which was additional $3 charge which meant that most of their dishes were $20 or more. To each their own but with so many Thai options around town, I won't be coming back to this place
I have been going to Thai Bistro for several years. It is a bit pricey but the food is great and the service is awesome. I have ordered many different menu items but I cannot name a favorite because they are all so good.
Our family and extended family ordered 8 entrees today, all vegan/vegetarian. Everything was perfect, including requests for tofu as fried or fresh, level of spiciness, etc. It just doesn't get any better. In particular, the Rama peanut sauce was delicious and the Massaman curry sauce was fantastic as well. The website ordering system is very smooth. We've been coming here for many years, and even with some new competition we see no need to change! No rating for atmosphere since our food was ready and waiting when we arrived at 12:20 PM.
Amazing, everything we ordered last night was great. Best Thai food I've had in years. So glad we ordered extra for lunch today!

Fresh vegetables rolls costs 11 bucks and tastes horrible. The dipping sauce is so thick that you dipped the roll in and nothing will get on the roll. The seafood patai only has very few shrimp and scallops and costs 25 bucks. Overall it is over priced and tastes was ok.
I am not a fan of this place at all. Super angry service with way below par food. Fried chicken skin will never pass for chicken.
The wait staff treats me like family. I usually order The Crying Tiger salad . I just walk in and they put in my order. Friendly atmosphere.
I have been a customer for about 6 years now. They are great.

Food was okay, but they should definitely improve customer service.
Loved it
The pad kee mao is great here. Keep coming back for more.
Omg. All I can say is the Thai sweet chilli chicken. SO GOOD!!!

Good enough food. Unfortunately, the waiter was pretty uninterested in the whole service concept. Hopefully just a slow Sunday lunch fill-in.
Food was good! One of waitresses so rude
Wonderful choices for lunch and dinner. Give them a visit, you'll be happy you did.
The friendliness is non existent food is good if you take out tho if i ate there again id just order delivery 🫤
Really good service, fast food, and the food was great. The table we were seated at was somewhat small and it was really expensive overall, but those are the only complaints. Fantastic.
Very average food with a hefty price tag
Good food and service. I will be going back.
The food was delicious. However, the waitress was very unfriendly. When we entered the store, she only asked us how many people there were and she led us to a table without saying anything. And she threw drink down on the side of the table so quickly that I didn't even have time to thank her. When she gave us food and we asked for chopsticks and sauce, she disappeared without saying a word and then she put them and walked away. As soon as she put the last of food on the table, she darted to another table. I needed more spoons, so I waited for her to finish her conversation with the customer. It felt bad to see her speaking kindly to them, but I kept looking at her for fear that she would disappear quickly again. As they seemed to have finished their conversation, I asked her for spoon, but she pretended not to hear me. I got angry and asked her why you didn't answer me and she said "I did." She lied. And the manager apologized to us and we continued eating. But she lied to the guest so we could all hear that she had done nothing wrong. We don't understand why we were discriminated against as soon as we entered. Is it wrong to go to the store 1:30 before it closes?
Good experience and satisfied with the food drinks and customer service
This is our go to place for Thai food in Shoreline.
The best Thai food!
This has been my favorite Thai restaurant in/near Seattle for many years. They do a great job on vegan offerings, their Phad See Ew without fish sauce is delicious (many places do badly with that). Pad Thai is also excellent, and there are many vegetarian options The atmosphere is really nice, you forget you're in a strip mall. There's a giant wooden carved structure that is very impressive.
So it is excellent however the service leaves something to be desired
Delicious food, great ambiance, highly reccomend.
We have been eating here regularly for the past five years, but unfortunately the food was absolutely subpar on our last visit. We were all very disappointed. The serving portions were noticeably smaller, the dishes were not consistent, and the spicy levels were not correct. We ordered 2 stars for everything, yet some orders were bland, some over cooked, and one order came out very spicy (like 5 stars, and this was on the Pad Thai, which is one of those dishes that should be impossible to mess up). Very odd and usual for a restaurant that has served us so well in the past. We can only guess maybe the main chef was out sick, and they had a terrible sub fill in. We ordered 6 different dishes, and none were prepared to their normal high standards. Would have given 1 star, but the servers were nice and friendly, so I added a star.
Didn't even get food, but "Everyone" else did. Very predjudice experience. Will not be going back here.
The food, the service, the atmosphere it's amazing, just wow! Will definitely go again.
This place is great at night or on weekends.
You can taste the difference of the chefs during the week. Pad se ew was super runny like soup, not carmelized or thick sauce at all.
It's the inconsistent service.
Today December 6th. Me and two of my friends decided to give Thai bistro a try for our late lunch around 2:20pm. There were only three of us in the restaurant. My two friends arrived first. Food and atmosphere was good but our server was rude. I got up and went to the counter to ask for plate and utensils because the food already came out I was the only one who didn't get a plate yet. I was only half there and she assumed I was waiting for my order but really I just wanted my plate and utensils for the food already given out. She told me go sit down I'll be there with a negative tone. Later I asked for a menu to order dessert instead, she talks over me and asked me if I was done with my plate with a loud voice. My friends and I felt like we were being rushed to finish our food and because of her we decided not to order dessert and leave and get desserts elsewhere. We were still nice enough to leave a tip for the good atmosphere and food but because of her, we won't be eating there anymore. what's the point of eating there if the servers are rude.
Never judge a book by its cover but the of us are managers.
Really good pad Thai.
How can someone screw up Pad Thai? If you want to know go to this restaurant!
Love their pad thai
Our meals were both great. Service excellent. The peanut sauce was particularly tasty. I had scallops, and they were cooked perfectly. Pricing seemed typical. We'll be back.
Good food
Food is great. If you order take out be prepared to wait once you get there. It will be worth it though.
💯🌌🙏🏽
Best Pad Thai, and Penang Curry in Shoreline
Great variety of food, good portions, and fast service. A consistent place for take out and are very accommodating to requests!
Super reasonable prices, wonderful atmosphere, super diverse crowd, and the best fried tofu I've ever had, period. Couldn't believe how low the prices were at this place considering it's downtown, I think we spent less than $100 on 2 people including the tip
Wear a sweater/jacket as it's quite chilly in their dining area.
Great selection of unique and signature dishes. Service is usually quick. My only criticism is the amount of sugar used in some dishes especially the curries and green curry fried rice. I know that Thai tends to have sweeter dishes but the amount of sugar used here is on the border of being considered dessert! The Thai street food, Kai soy and duck noodle soup is delicious but lots of sugar. The lamb satay appetizer is my go to, perfectly seasoned. I’ll continue to eat here and recommend but I would like it even more if they adjusted their recipes to be more balanced.
Very tasty curry and large servings on all entrees I've had there.
The food is always good here. Staff are helpful but sometimes one is in a bad mood. Forgive her, they are very busy and she's probably tired!
I love the tofu and veggie dishes here. Very fresh! The Chicken satay is never dry. It's kid friendly and they have a great kids menu.
The food here is amazing! I've only ever ordered take out and the service has been wonderful every time. They've been incredibly kind, friendly, and have made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. I highly recommend Thai Bistro!
I was served raw chicken, when ordering the Pud See Yew, worst dining experience of life.
They made
Did the owner change it? Or did the chef change it? I was so hungry today, but food taste was so bad.And the waitress who works here is blunt and annoying without smiling.she better quit If she doesn't wanna work..!!
Honestly, the more successful a restaurant becomes, the worse the customer service.
I do not recommend this location. there are plenty of great Thai restaurants out there.
Overpriced as hell. Super bland and seating/service is poor
This is by far THE BEST Thai food in Shoreline. We’ve tried several other places but this place always offer piping hot and fresh food with exceptional customer service.
Make sure that you check out the street food menu, Amazing flavors and maybe some dishes that you haven't tried before.
La comida es mjy buena pero las veces que e ido el personal parece molesto todo el tiempo
This restaurant prepared Panang Chicken Curry with steamed rice! So stupid! There was nowhere on the Door Dash menu to choose steamed rice separately! Stupid incompetent restaurant! You never separate the two!
Service disappointed. Super duper very bad. They have waiters lady soo bad attitude. Not recommended
Delicious food and great service.
I have only had takeout from here, both times the food was bland and had little to no flavor. Both times I ordered the Pad See Ew and Spring Rolls. Both were dry and had an off consistency as well.
Great place for food and drinks. Enjoy
Cool place with excellent Thai food at really decent prices. The quality of ingredients and freshness of the food really stood out and above the rest!
I've never been to Thailand but I love thai food, and this is the best I've ever had. The curries are amazing and the fish cakes (tod mun) are worth a special trip. Large gai is my standard measure of a thai restaurant and there's is excellent. Lately we have been enjoying the Salam woon Sen noodle dish. Still so many things to try.
Oh yes, don't miss Paul the server. Unless you're there on a Sunday you won't miss him. He's as constant as he is professional.
Yum!
Wow just did the lunch menu! Awesome yellow curry and red curry. So much food couldn't finish it. Love the hot sake. Don't miss this place. Lunch is 11am to 3pm.
Been there several times and always pleased.
I was here a couple days ago and not my first time ordering takeout from Thai Bistro. Their Pad Thai is pretty good. I love the crunchy spring rolls and their Vietnamese iced tea with boba, first time trying this tea with boba really complements the bitterness of the drink 😋 sadly, no pictures this time 🙃
We went here after attending a Bonsai class at the Sky Nursery just down the road. We were too late for the lunch combos that they serve from noon to 3pm, but we were able to have a lovely meal. The level of spice was perfect and the flavor and presentation of the food was great. The service was a little confusing because the hostess sat us down but it took a while for our server to come by despite the fact that the restaurant was mostly empty. But otherwise once we ordered the food came quickly and it was a lovely experience for my family.
Delicious vegan options. The waitress packed our food into containers for us. Excellent service.
Great thai food! Nice people. My favorite is vegetarian phad thai, or Mango fried rice with shrimp! Very good!
Excellent, only ever had take-out.
This time we ordered there, drank some tea, and waited not too long for the order. Came in at 1230 on a Monday, so not sure if that
I always get pumpkin curry. My husband got the pad thai for the first time. Got our kid pad see ewe. All yummy, per usual. However, we (husband and myself) noticed a bit of a shrimp sauce flavor this time. Not sure if it's always part of flavor or just more noticable. I'm hella allergic to shrimp (and similar), so yeah I only for about 1/3 of the way through mine. I didn't have any side effects from the shrimp, but I didn't want to continue and find out the hard way. LoL.
The food is always excellent and one of the only Thai places that has a combo option (lunch only). This restaurant has a nice atmosphere.
I have eaten at several Thai restaurants and this was one of the best I’ve ever been to! Friendly staff! The food was literally amazing. Perfect spice levels, textures, and consistency with flavors through every bite. It was hard not to lick my plate!
I have been going here for years and after today will never go back! The wait staff is awful and the food was cold. I nicely let the staff know and they offered to microwave it. They also tried to charge me for an item we did order they gave us and when I said something about it she refused to take it off the bill. I told them the charge was not authorized. After years of going I am super disappointed .
Food was good but took forever to order and cook. 45 minutes from time we were seated to finally eating.
If you dine here, be sure to leave a great tip. If you don’t, the waitress might just write in a larger one on your behalf. You might only find out about it the next morning when you check your account balance. You might go back and confront the manager and she might even return your money. But, when she searches for your receipt to confirm your story, you might find that it has mysteriously disappeared. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, though. Clearly, this had never happened before and will never happen again.
Okay I've been going to the Thai bistro for years always been top-notch thank you very much for the great service. But tonight I'm terribly disappointed not only did they screw up my order forgot to give me. The pad thai was not up to par. And the coconut prawns were so overdone I can hardly eat them in fact I threw the last two away. It'll be awhile before I ever bother to go back. Not sure what happened but my experience sucked really bad when I had my hopes up for a good dinner.
Unacceptable - - the waitress here tonight Started an argument with my 86 year old mother (on Jan. 22, 2023) - she started the argument after a simple request for extra bean sprouts in a meal.
She was Very Rude and did Not apologize, plus she didn't think there was anything wrong with her openly rude behavior.
The good quality food and good portions did Not compensate for the overall bad experience.
No more going here for us.
Our future business will go to the restaurants who provide at least basic respect for their customers.
If you’re going to charge 10 dollars for springs rolls at least put a shrimp in it! They are so bland and boring and TEN dollars
Unfortunately, the food is very bland. I got the tom yum vegetable soup, and it was basically just regular vegetables in hot water. For $20 soup, I hope for something better than that. Try another restaurant if you want Thai food.
Great place to go for Thai dishes; love the garlic fried rice 🍚 😋
$3 for jasmine tea per person is ridiculous.
Pad Thai lunch was too sweet. I enjoyed my red curry but also found it on the sweet side.
Portions are large. Took most of it home hoping the kids will not notice the too weeet noodles.
$14.95 lunch combo is market price.
Service is quick and efficient but often hard to flag down the 2 staff working the floor.
Be sure to count your change because they keep some
Extensive menu with western Thai and authentic dishes. Food was hot (serving temp) and creative presentation.
This place is on point. Good portions for family style meals and fun decor.
Very Beautiful inside. Friendly. Pleasant back ground music playing softly. Very clean. Food was fantastic
The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I am in there at least once a day (for delivery orders) and always a pleasure.
Good Thai food, plus their specials and street food is a bit different and tasty. Wish it were spicier though.
Wonderful restaurant. If recommended. Fresh food and great service.
Love the Sriracha Noodle with chicken!
Great food
I get doordash from here all the time, and the foods are so tasty.
Solid takeout option - the food is delicious. The only complaint I have is that the heat is terribly inconsistent. You can set your heat level, and sometimes the "hot" will be totally mild, and other times near inedible (I like hot foods, but have had to toss overly hot foods a couple times that weren't even "very hot"). Even within the same order, you can compare two different dishes set to "hot" and they won't even be close.
Would give 0 stars if I could!
The food here is consistently delicious!
The fried tofu is not overly cooked, and the curry is delicious. My wife and I get the garden pot, too, and it is always a good choice.
The typical dishes like pad Thai are also really good.
They have Manny's, Mac and Jacks, and Elysian on tap, so they have good beer, too.
Will be back soon!
My family and i love ordering gluten free from here. (Celiac) its delish. Never had a bad experience.
I took my mom for lunch. I had phad Thai and my mom had big prawns with veggies and big noodles. My mom's food was not warm. My food was just right. We hadn't been here in awhile, but won't be back for awhile if at all. The service was slow.
The Tom Ka Gai soup is the best I have had in Seattle, and I have tried many versions of this!
Rude staff. Very unfortunate.
Very rude waiters.ill never go back there
Food wa very good and this place was extremely busy!!
Usually its good but today was Karen day ....
Food was good but expensive.
This was by far the worst Thai food I have ever had, and some of the most expensive. To top it off, the service sucked and it wasn’t very busy in there.
Beautiful decorations though. That’s probably the only thing that was good, the decorations.
Don’t waste your time or money at this place.
I happened upon Thai Bistro in the serious midst of a Thai food craving. It exceeded expectations!
They have an entire page of Thai street food offerings, in addition to all the usual American-ized dishes. I hate the Roti and Beef Massaman Curry and it was delicious. If you've never had roti, it's a sort of pan fried flat bread, served hot and often crunchy, and delicious. And the curry was incredible, not your simple or basic coconut curry. It had layers of flavor, very delicate for a curry that is traditionally served with potatoes and peanuts.
Service was great too. Prompt and pleasant.
The decor was a surprise considering it's located within a strip mall nect to Bartell's. They've used a lot of carved wood, similar to what is seen in temples in Northern Thailand. It's brightly lit but the woodwork and ratten chairs keep it from being sterile.
Definitely worth the trip north!
Our favorite place to get Crying Tiger beef salad.... Just tried the crispy garlic seafood .... Loved it! ❤️ Yum 😋
I have been going here for years and adore the food. It is served in a wonderful atmosphere and is always delicious. The restaurant is a family-owned place and feels that way. I would highly recommend it!
Service is bad . Waiting time long. The waiter doesn't know when the food will be ready.
Ordered Crying Tiger beef salad and phat keep mao.So delicious. Quick service
Went for lunch and the service was quite slow today. And they don't have their lunch combination available on Sunday. Why give a menu with lunch combinations on it and then not allow them to be ordered? Then when the bill comes, it's much higher than I was anticipating because I didn't have the lunch combo, I had to order from the dinner menu. And, there was a fan blowing right at our table in the center of the dining room, which is the only table I could sit at being confined to a wheelchair. The fan made it uncomfortably chilly and when asked if they could turn it down, they said no because it would make the kitchen too hot.
The food was good but overpriced for the service and comfort provided. We have eaten there several times and never had any issues with the fan or slow service. This will be the last time we go to this establishment.
I met a friend on Sunday 1:00pm. There was so much air pressure inside the restraunt the front door felt Locked. I ordered. $20+ pawns, deep fried and dried out.
Very Disappointing!
I love Thai but not Thai Bistro.
The Bangkok curry is a must have (unique to this Thai Bistro). Sweet Chilli Chicken and Pad See Ew are also must-haves.
Great place!
As always, fresh hot, delcious food.
Big variety on the menu.
Nice people work there!
Everything I've had here has been outta this world
I'd been there along in the past, this time not so impressed. Also,if you do try it you will notice how tight the front doors are to open, this is because their exhaust fan is pulling the building into neg. pressure, with no make-up air. Sorry HVAC tech for along time.
One of my few favorite and Thai restaurants in the city. We enjoy the curry dishes, fried rice, and various flavors (garlic!) and
and seafood specialties. Love the yummy tea selections too. There's plenty of parking right out front, including a decent handicapped space. We've always had good service and tables/booths available (great for a romantic dinner or bring the kids). Lately, we mostly get our food to go. Everything is always delicious -- we've been coming for years now. (Actually, wish it was less expensive so we could come more often!)
Great Staff, Wonderful Owner.
I've been coming here for years.
Love the Pad Ba Mee.
delicious
Fried rice was good. Ordered a coffee as well that was yummy. The chicken chili dish was not great and probably should of returned. Super busy on a Friday night and waited a while.
We’ve been going here for 10 years. It was always alright. Then they upgraded and expanded their menu, sending the food to a new level. It went from just the closest Thai place to a “oh let’s go!”place. Lots of tasty options with fresh ingredients made to order in the partially open kitchen. With the water wall behind the line shining in the flashes of fire from the energetic cooking. Even with all the options the Phad Kee Mao is my go to here, and of course a Thai iced tea or coffee. If that’s not your speed they have everything from soda to a full cocktail menu.
I ordered my food over an hour ago. Was told it would take 45 minutes. Im still waiting and now it’s been an hour and 15 minutes.
The kitchen has zero organization. Ppl are waiting for food that’s sitting in a Togo bag. People are growing inpatient. Food is coming out of the kitchen in no specific order.
I will never eat here again.
Get your game together.
The lady is super lazy making 5 people wait in line. While she browses on social media. Food tastes super bland and is expensive. Thachapran is way better. The cooks also do not wear hair nets.
Expensive for cheap food that is terrible, dry and never tastes right.... this started out as a good place and has steadily gone down in quality over the years.
Must say the hole menu is delicious. The food is so good and fresh. In my opinion the best Thai food around. Just as a suggestion, the sticky rice with mango is beyond good. Highly recommend this place. Wonton soup is superb.
Deliciosa 😋 comida lugar limpió y amable personal
Food is good, but horrible customer service. The last 3 times I've come in, it's not that busy and they take 5 to 10 minutes before your seated. This LAST and final time I came in at 2:55, I always get the same thing for lunch. They seated me at 3:03 and I told her I'd like the F lunch special. The lady hosting said sorry, they stop serving lunch at 3, no exceptions. The fact I was there waiting and ready before 3 didn't matter. Ridiculous. Theres much better thai places around shoreline and edmonds, and they treat you better too. Go elsewhere
Great Thai restaurant in Shoreline! A little on the expensive side but worth it.
I keep trying things, expecting one of them to not be absolutely amazing. But Thai Bistro is just always perfect. Best restaurant I have ever had. I wish I could give 10 stars.
Delicious!
