My fiancée and I went here and the food and service was great. The pad thai was so flavorful and I got star 4 because I love spice and it was perfect and not bland . chicken satay was very good as well and we got the fresh rolls so good with the peanut sauce !!

We came in on busy Valentine’s Day and the male owner has to take care of two restaurant floors plus takeouts. We did a bit of self serve; no big deal as we appreciate the hard working for the family. I ordered Tom Yum Soup Noodle and it has the taste of home cooking. We also have Roasted Duck Curry and Pad Kee Mao. All were decent. We each have received a small fried banana roll with strawberries as freebie dessert. Anyone looking for a taste of mom’s cooking should give this place a try.

I’ve been here three times, ordered something different each time, and the food has always been wonderful! Aside from the food, Chan is so very kind, and helpful and I’m greeted with a smile with every interaction. They have seating inside but also an outside upstairs sunroom and patio that’s open Friday—Sunday that is beautiful with gorgeous live plants everywhere inside. It truly is a lovely space to be in. So grateful for this gem of a place!!!

Wonderful experience here. The staff really remembers us and our pad kee mao orders with special requests even though we probably only visit once in 2 months, but they are very sweet and food has been consistently great!

The food is bland . I’m bummed bc it’s in my neighborhood and convenient and a cute place. But I once a year and it’s mediocre and disappointing . I eat thai food elsewhere weekly. Bummer.

We cook Thai at home. The dishes we had at Issaya had almost no flavor -- I couldn't taste any ginger, galangal, lemon grass, thai basil, holy basil, lime, birds eye peppers, tamarind, garlic -- none of the wonderful spices that make Thai food delish. Please add flavor.

This place is really great since the ownership change. The food is great, and they've improved the decor too.

Issaya is the best Thai restaurant around! The food is great, the spice levels are accurate each time, and there are great staff. The food is delicious and is definitely a must try for anyone looking for great authentic Thai food. Plus the smoothie are so flavorful and they really put a lot.

I've been back to this place three times after the first time I tried it. Their food is so flavorful and they have an incredible variety of dishes! The staff is wonderfully polite as well. We are huge Thai food connoisseurs and try Thai food in each town, state, and country we visit. This is the best Thai food we have had in the entire greater Seattle area (and we’ve tried a lot)
What stands out: Extremely fresh and delicious flavor in all the meals, every aspect of our meals was exactly how you’d like them. The tray of spices brought to the table were great to try. And the restaurant were airy and comfortable. To top it off, the staff were incredibly kind and warm. We highly recommend all stop in and get some Thai!

Ordered 8 dishes for take out on a Sunday night and everything was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. We had Phad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, fried rice, gyoza, and Phad Thai and all were delicious! Even my sister, who is not an adventurous eater, enjoyed the dishes. We will definitely order from here again.

Sweet spot

The past few weeks we have been stopping by for Thai Tea and have been serviced by the kindest most welcoming man each time. We even started getting recognized after bringing in fresh $1s a few times and had very pleasant interactions every time! Not to mention the Thai Tea is so flavorful and delicious. The Pad See Ew and Thai Green Curry is also super super good! Everything is prepared quick and with care. I wish we caught the name of the person we talked to because we love your energy! Even though the facing of the building at the corner makes it look like a very large building or a very large restaurant. When you go to the entrance it's very unassuming and you are greeted with flowers everywhere. And when you go in it does seem smaller. But there are so many plants and there's the sound of a waterfall and it was such a beautiful atmosphere to eat. And the food was great.

Everything was wonderful, 5 stars. EXCEPT the egg rolls. I would pass on those. It says must try. You must not!! The pad thai was great. There was some type of chicken, which was great. The chicken sattay was great. It wasn't busy but the food was fresh and the service was great.
There is a "fried pork" Appetizer, you should know that is just a fried pork chop cut into strips with an amazing sauce to dip it in. But it's just a pork chop.

The food is amazing and the restaurant is so cute and well taken care of. Will come back here many times :)

This place is always empty, and I don't understand why! Me and my wife eat here often, and it's always fresh and delicious.

First time here. Arrived just after opening on a Sunday so it was quiet but people started coming in later. The interior is nothing special but seems clean. Service was friendly and prompt. Had a green curry and a tom ka between two of us. Both were very good. A bit on the sweet side but that's typical everywhere you go for Thai here. Worth another visit for sure.

Dragonfruit smoothie is SO GOOD!! More like a dragonfruit shaved ice, super refreshing. The roti with red curry sauce is melt in your mouth delicious. The Pad Cashew was fresh and satisfying. As soon as you walk in you know this is a nice family restaurant with great food. Everything is clean inside the restaurant and all the food is fresh. I had the Pad Woon Sen with chicken, I love how many vegetables come in this dish, more than most places. The chicken was moist and well cooked. Noodles and vegetables were also perfectly prepared and seasoned. Service was also great. Will be back soon!

Issaya Thai has wonderful Thai food! The staff are very kind and friendly, and the service is quick. Everything we tried was excellent! I can strongly recommend the coconut tofu, Pad Thai, gravy noodles, and pad ginger in particular:)

What an excellent Thai restaurant. It's clean and pretty, with plenty of plants and comfortable booths. Service is overloaded but very friendly and fast. Ask for five stars and that's what you get, too. But the stand out feature of this place is the really fabulous food, by far the best Thai we've had on Seattle and better than the best places we've tried elsewhere. Don't miss eating here.

Updating for the new owners! Under new management the hours are better and the menu has been expanded. Lots of good flavors and options for everyone to choose from. Staff were kind and very appreciative of support. I will be back and I am excited to have a great Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. The Tom kah soup is one of my favorites from here!

Please support, they are kinda tucked away so I would imagine they would appreciate your bussiness. Really nice people. Check it, you get not 3 BUT FIVE items for $35! We tried most items from the menu. So nice that it comes with a drink, we love our thai iced tea.
We tried most of the options, everything was good! Standouts were both tom yum and tom kha soups (really really the best thai soups Ive ever had), salmon pumpkin curry, l'buar( taro in coconut milk) . Treat yo self!

We have been going here for 15 years on a very regular basis and it is honestly one of the most top notch neighborhood Thai places out there. The food is always delicious, amazing flavor and spice (optional), the portions are generous and the price is great. Favorite dishes include all of the curries, pad Thai, green beans, satay and soup. Super kind people and all around a great business and staple of the RB community.
