I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit to your establishment. My friend and I ordered a considerable amount of food, including desserts. However, we became quite full and did not wish to waste the desserts. I politely asked the server if we could return them, but she responded rudely, stating that it was not possible since they had already been prepared. She then took pre-made desserts from the fridge and brought them to us. We felt forced to eat them while she continually watched us with an unwelcoming expression.
In the end, we did not leave an adequate tip, and the server questioned us about our attitude. I believe if her attitude had been more pleasant, we would have tipped her properly. Afterward, she sought out the manager to complain, but he did not address the situation.
Regarding the food, while the portion sizes were quite large, every dish was excessively sweet, with what felt like an unlimited amount of sugar. I suggest that the chef receive further training in Thailand to enhance their culinary skills. Relying solely on portion sizes is not a sustainable approach.
I sincerely hope the owner of this restaurant reads my feedback. The management of your staff needs attention, as they exhibit no smiles or friendliness, appearing to treat their jobs as mere tasks. I encourage the owner to sample the dishes themselves to understand the need for improvement.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Nice Thai restaurants are known for their vibrant flavors and aromatic dishes. From classic Pad Thai to Curry, these establishments offer a variety of options that cater to different tastes. Many of them also provide a cozy atmosphere, making them perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. Whether you're a fan of spicy dishes or prefer something milder, you'll find an array of choices that highlight the rich culinary traditions of Thailand.
Kin Len has the longest happy hour with the best timing in Fremont. Other restaurants nearby are limited to only weekdays or are shorter. Their happy hour menu also has plenty of items I would order. The space is huge, but extremely busy, so it took a while before we could order and add another drink order. Most of our utensils and plates were dirty, so I stuck to using the ones that came with each dish.
The sun dried beef was better than expected and soft and tender just like the description said. I didn't need the sauce because there was enough flavor in the beef. Usually beef at other restaurants is too chewy, tough, and/or dry, but this was surprisingly good. The chicken red curry was creamy and otherwise pretty standard, but the amount of rice was generous. I also liked that they use winter melon because I don't know any other restaurants who do.
I found that the crispy mussel omelette was way too greasy and lacked eggs for an omelette. There was also barely anything else on it. It was more like a block of crispy, oily fried bits that didn't remain intact enough when I cut into it. Fried pieces were flying everywhere with each cut or bite. The kinlen wings were too big and daunting to eat because they didn't break the drumsticks from the wings off. They're extremely difficult to eat, since they're not typical wings. It doesn't seem like they use that great of chicken either because there was barely any meat on the bones. I also didn't taste any Thai tea flavoring in the Thai tea-ni, but I definitely tasted the lemon.
Tried the Pad Thai lunch special and Crying tiger. Both were delicious dishes.
The Pad Thai came with a mussel omelet, that was very crispy and added a nice crunch to the dish.
The crying tiger beef, this is a wrap dish. The beef was cooked the way we ordered but you should order it medium rate and not medium. I loved that it was a wrap that you put together with basil, mint and cilantro and lettuce. It also had a delicious tamarind sauce.
100% try this place if you can ☺️
Really cool place and the food was good. When you enter, you would never expect the dining area to be like that, that was really cool. Our server Petra was so sweet and helpful. For appetizers we got shrimp cakes and hand pulled caramelized beef with sticky rice. Shrimp cakes were good, the beef was just ok. The battered chicken red curry was delicious. The boat noodles were the star of the show. The broth was so flavorful and the meats were so tender and well-cooked. It had a nice kick too. Great place for dinner. Stop by here if you have the chance!! 🤤
Had a phenomenal late night happy hour date night here! We showed up pretty close to their closing time HH and there was still a lot of people waiting for seats, so we put on our names on the list and walked around outside for ~10min before getting called back.
The interior is super stylish and fun for date night- colorful and varied with cultural callbacks to Thai food markets.
Everything we tried was delicious- my mouth is watering just going back through these photos. You really can't go wrong with anything on the HH menu, and the pricing is great. We sampled a ton and were super full with leftovers after. In particular I loved the grilled beef tongue, boat noodles, buttery grilled squid, and crispy oyster pancake. The papaya salad was also refreshingly and fiercely spicy. Would have a blast coming back again!
The atmosphere of this place is SO CUTE, warm and welcoming. The service was really good, attentive but not too much. Everything was plated gorgeously. The food was just downright amazing! Everything we got tasted super delicious. I was extremely happy and full when we left.
I completely forgot about this place and it makes no sense seeing how amazing it is. Their vibe truly lives up to their name. I'm sure this place shines at all times if the day, but it seems to outshine at night. And they do with an all black interior that's decorated with a perfect blend of fun and class. Date night, birthdays, just kicking it, its good for pretty much any ocassion.
Their vast menu is impressive without being over whelming. Yet still my eyes and stomach were begging me to order at least 1 or 2 items on every page. Don't worry, if you order away, their staff knows what they are doing and are ready to help. Our food cane out surprisingly quick for how full they were.
I struggled to choose which exotic flavored drink. Half the drinks I've never even heard of such flavor combinations. The first drink I ordered was forgotten about so I ended up picking a different drink when I realized. I choose the Thai tini which was actually a whole knew type of punch flavor. So hard to describe and so delicious.
The food was also hard to choose yet very easy for me seeing how their kow soi was priced and made so well. I have a nice line up of thai spots I eat at so I'm getting better at finding those gems on the menu. I don't mean to say the other items on the menu aren't as delicious, but I just know where to get comparable else where.
The location and parking situation ain't too shabby either for downtown. Yes it's street parking, but I was able to find a spot ok. Be ware there is a lot of action all around so be ready. Regardless it's so worth it. I'll be back soon. Shout out to who ever was blessed enough to bless us with this restaraunt.
Honestly rudest person we’ve met at the front desk, was being overly rude for no reason we politely asked if she could hold our coffee behind the desk but she just should sass and told us no you have to throw it away… like no need to be rude for no reason

Looks like they’re really short on staff. Long wait time to get seated even though there are many empty tables.
Even take away that literally stays behind their desk takes time to get because no one is there at the entry.
Really great! However not very spicy despite me asking for Thai spicy. I tried a few things, the Thai tea, spicy bomb tofu + veggie curry combo and the pad see ew. All were really great, but the spicy bomb tofu was on the sweeter side. I would like to return to try different dishes in the future.
Editing my previous review to shoutout the staff, they noticed my dad was unsure about the durian tiramisu and brought him some ice cream. Also, leftovers hold up great in the fridge!!
Portions are huge, flavors are awesome!! Highly recommend the fried enoki + phad thai. The curry sauce that came w the enoki was so good I would have eaten it by itself lol
Good vibes. Mediocre food. Bad because the noodles are always broken and scrambled into pieces.
The waiter attitude is rude
來了幾次,還不錯
Delicious every time.
Amazing food and atmosphere inside but the service to get seated at the table was a little too slow.
Expect to wait for sometime but the food is awesome, and services is good as well. Highly recommended
Amazing spot! This is one of my local favorites. We tried some new things today including the flat papaya salad and rad na (and we almost always get the battered curry chicken). Everything was phenomenal as always and service and pricing was great too!
My other favorites include the pad see ew and durian tiramisu!
One of my daughters said the hostess is always rude but I guess she knows the food is so good that people will put up with it!! The waitresses are nice and the food is consistently good. We have been every time we visit Seattle from Charleston this year!!
Excellent thai food. Big portions. Recommend the red curry chicken, tom yum, fried chicken and pineapple fried rice.
Food was cold, music was all over the place, didn’t accept cash or split check, but guava juice fire
I see that most reviews here mention the atmosphere, which is definitely fun but I tend to judge a restaurant less by decor and more by how I enjoyed the food and service.
Honestly the food we had (all vegetarian/vegan) was way too sweet and unremarkable. There are many other great Thai places in Seattle; the ridiculous wait time here for the mediocre food is not it. I was served my rice in a plastic packet- ridiculously unhealthy and sloppy presentation. Prices were fine, no complaints.
TLDR - insane wait times for food that honestly just bummed us out.
During our trip from Vancouver to Seattle, my friends and I decided to stop by Kin Len for a meal on 25th December. The restaurant wasn't busy, but we found ourselves waiting in the reception area for a while before being seated. When a female staff member finally approached us, her demeanor was far from welcoming. She seemed visibly annoyed and didn't offer any greeting or smile as she led us to our table.
When it came time to order, the same staff member came to take our request. Again, her lack of a smile and the cold, almost dismissive tone made it clear that she wasn't having a good day. One of my friends even remarked that she seemed to be in a bad mood. Despite trying to maintain politeness and a friendly attitude, her responses came across as unpleasant.
While the service left much to be desired, the food was quite good. We ordered tom yum, pad Thai, vegetarian glass noodles in a clay pot, and spicy wings. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying, but the unpleasant service overshadowed the experience.
Ultimately, despite the tasty food, the poor attitude from the staff made this our last visit to Kin Len. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants in the area that offer both great food and hospitality, and unfortunately, the lack of good service here made this place not deserving of any tips.

Food is good, service is very poor. 40min+ waiting time though its line waiting system said it would take 15-25min. Small table for a group of 4 people. Then waited another 20min for the food.
The food is okay, but it is not suited for our taste. More explicitly, it is a bit too sweet for us. Nevertheless you might like the taste if you are used to more sweet flavour. The beef tonge is a bit cold when served but the taste is still okay. The durian tiramisu is a bit wet while I like dryer tiramisu. Service is okay but it is a very crowded restaurant so sometimes we wait long for dishes and the server is helping other tables. Personally, I don’t like the red ambient light in the restaurant. I think it is a good restaurant overall, however it just happens to be not my taste. The price is very reasonable, though.
It’s pretty nice! Pretty close to the Thai food in Thailand.
We ordered Tom Yum Soup and Kra Prao. The tomato flavor is a bit too strong in Tou Yum soup, covering the coconut cream. Personally, I feel like more coconut cream and less tomato base will be better.
Kra Prao is great, not that spicy as I ate in Thailand, but still good enough! The Thai basil is fresh and tasty.
I will recommend this restaurant as a stop!
Very delicious food. Have never been disappointed by any meal here. Vibrant flavors and high quality produce. Prices are also reasonable for Seattle.
Truly a creative cocktail menu with inventive presentations.
Extremely cool restaurant interior design and decor, some of the best in the city.
I don't really have much bad to say about this place, but there is often a wait to be seated. It's popular for a reason.
Wow, I am absolutely floored by how rude the service was here. We came in 45 minutes before closing, ordered, and were enjoying our food—which, by the way, was flavorful but definitely on the salty side. At first, things seemed fine. The male server was polite, recommended dishes, and kindly let us know the kitchen was closing soon. No issue there, we totally understood.
But then came the lady server, and her attitude was something else. When closing time hit, she just started grabbing our plates and bowls—while we were still eating! We politely asked for 5 more minutes to finish up, and after a brief hesitation, she seemed to agree. Except, 30 seconds later, she was back, doing the same thing, and completely ignoring us like we weren’t even human. The vibe was as if we were some sort of massive inconvenience for simply being there.
And the cherry on top? We were a group, had already paid, and even left a 20% tip before this nightmare unfolded. Why? Because we didn’t want to stiff the first server who was actually nice. But honestly, looking back, what did we even do to deserve this level of hostility?
I don’t care how good the food is—this kind of treatment is unacceptable. If you don’t want customers there before closing, just say so. Don’t treat paying customers like garbage and rush them out the door. Never coming back.

nice place
Soo delicious and huge portions for the price. Also, great service! I knocked over my (delicious) thai iced coffee and they were so helpful with cleaning it up and replacing it. Would be excited to come back again and try some more dishes!

The best Thai in Fremont
I recently visited Thai Night Bites (for the second time, this time for my birthday dinner with a few friends.
My wife is from Thailand and I have visited numerous times; so we can be pretty tough to please when it comes to local Thai eateries. This spot is outstanding though, its an ideal venue to visit with your crew and share dishes, family style.
I like that fact that they spent time and obviously put much thought into creating such a lovely spot- the ambiance and decor are just flat out Fun! Service is great; they use team style service so your food does not get cold waiting for your server. If cocktails are your thing they got that covered too.
Do note that portions are generous, so leave some room for dessert... if you can!
Congratulations on all involved with this cafe-its just a brilliant place and innovative menu. Next up I need to try one of their Isarn Restaurants- I hear that they are just as fabulous.
Tried the Pad Thai lunch special and Crying tiger. Both were delicious dishes.

Great food, good drinks, good service. No wifi.
Best Thai food around! Been coming for years and never disappoints.
Loved the food, great service and great atmosphere. I got the battered chicken red curry and the fresh coconut. Everything tasted incredible and will be back again.
Basic.
Sunday lunch.
Simple flavors.
Mostly sizzle.
Rigid service and menu
Ordered the calamari (grilled tasteless and rubbery), fried chicken curry (nice portion, pretty good but missing any veggies) noodles(peppers, onions and steak. Too spicy. Flavors lacked complexity)
Other Thai places in the area have better food.
Food wise, amazing flavors, big portions and great prices. The Tom yum fried rice is stellar and worth the visit alone. Atmosphere is vibey and service was good.
Really really good. Highly recommend the drunken noodles
Absolutely delicious good and great friendly service! Everyone was really nice here and the wait wasn't too long for a weekday dinnertime. It's a popular place so expect some wait though. The food is amazing and they give good portion sizes. The menu has pics of all the food and it all looks home cooked and so good. Loved the crispy pork belly fried rice especially. Will def be back!
Kin len is my favorite for date night or taking friends visiting from out of town <3 everything is gorg but my must haves are the battered chicken red curry (order roti for dipping trust me!!) and the crispy rice salad. It’s a really fun atmosphere but i will say the music is LOUD lol! It’s still more than worth it and if you end up having to wait, which you likely will, just take a little walk down to the water and back :)
I am incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. They will lost me as a customer forever, also including I recommend lots of friends before. Ever since they changed their midday waitstaff, the attitude has become rude and dismissive. I used to enjoy dining here, but after today's experience, I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.
The staff treated us with clear disregard, rushing us to order and pay as if we were an inconvenience. Shockingly, we weren't even offered water initially; they only offered it at the end, and it felt insincere, as if they were just angling for a tip. Despite the poor service, we left a 15% tip, just to avoid any confrontations, but I regret spending even that much.
There are plenty of other good restaurants nearby where customers are treated with respect. This experience put a damper on what should have been a pleasant meal with friends I hadn't seen in a long time. I hope this review spares others a similar disappointment.
Exceptional food - curry was a little on the salty side but flavor up the wazoo
Good food and nice bar. It was busy on Sunday night.
Loved this restaurant! The wait time on a Saturday night for 2 was a little over 30 minutes. Service is quick, even though it was busy. Went to the bathroom straight after ordering, and when I came back like 3 minutes later my food was already there!
I got the beef boat noodles which were terrific, but DO NOT underestimate the chili oil. I love spicy food but theirs is pretty strong! The fried enoki was kind of meh on its own, but the lime sauce made it amazing. The guava juice was also great.
Why have a wait-list app if it's 15+ minutes wrong on the time - I would not have waited over 30 min on a Tuesday night. So not worth the wait. Much better food in walking distance for no wait.
Not worth the wait
We had such a great time at Kin Len, food was amazing, cocktails were strong. The music selection was an interesting choice for the place, but overall definitely worth a visit.
Some highlights for me:
Appetisers: Shrimp cakes, papaya salad
Carbs: Phad see eiw, pineapple fried rice with chicken and prawn
Soup: Tom yum goong
Dessert: Rainbow custard
I am vegetarian , so no opinion on food with meat. Vegan food was not good at all. You cannot control the spice level of pineapple fried rice or the most of the food(atleast that’s what our unfriendly waitress told us ). It was too sweet like desert. Chili oil was given on the side in to-go cup. My noodles on the bottom did not have any salt or the spice. Not enough vegetables in any of the food(although I ordered extra veggies in my food). I have been to lot better Thai places with less hype.not worth standing in line, atleast for vegetarian/vegan.
Also they got our order wrong and gave us prawn fried rice. I understand things happens in busy restaurants. But had to wait quite some time for waitresses to come and address the issue. Would not go there again.
Stop by here if you have the chance!! 🤤
Probably one of the best Thai place in the Greater Seattle area.
food was great!
Portion sizes were pretty good, but quite expensive and food wasnt that amazing
Incredibly tasty food that won't break the bank! There is also an expansive drink menu with many creative cocktails.
Good food with reasonable price.
The atmosphere of this place is SO CUTE, warm and welcoming. The service was really good, attentive but not too much. Everything was plated gorgeously. The food was just downright amazing! Everything we got tasted super delicious. I was extremely happy and full when we left.
Kin Len was a bit of a letdown for me. The food was just average compared to other Thai spots—chicken wings were dry, and the soup lacked flavor.
Considering the long line, it really wasn't worth the wait. I wouldn’t come back or recommend it, especially with so many better Thai options around.
Had a phenomenal late night happy hour date night here! We showed up pretty close to their closing time HH and there was still a lot of people waiting for seats, so we put on our names on the list and walked around outside for ~10min before getting called back.

A lot of options here at Kin Len. All the dishes we got were good. We got the Uncle Odds Flank Red Curry Wild Betel Leave with Sticky Rice and I would suggest everyone to order that off the menu. Would definitely recommend the spot
The woman in the front handling the wait list is extremely rude. It is hard for her to speak or something. She even gave us an attitude like what? I am not begging to eat here lmao. Go and get a therapist bro.
The service of this restaurant should be at ZERO ! Management is messed up and THEY DON'T EVEN TRY TO BE NICE OR TO SERVE PROPERLY.
If you are Thai, I suggest not to come to this place, I felt two standards from how they served us and treated us, I wish I'm wrong. Their facial expressions said it all, and the ignorance level is at its finest.
First of all, we went to this restaurant on June 6, 2024. We ordered bottles of wine. The waiter ask one of us to pass along all the wine glasses to our crews. We felt that wasn't a big deal, we didn't resist but we questioned them that they weren't busy at all. It was around 3pm, there weren't many customers and they got 3-4 waiters.
Secondly, we ordered the best wine they have in the restaurant and it came in WARM! the manager who brought glasses wine to pass along did just hand me an unopened wine and didn't care to talk to us at all. We had to ask for ice buckets just to let the wine's temperature to cool down and it came really late even the restaurant wasn't busy at all. This is not acceptable for us, we had never seen any single restaurant in the US did this to us before. I believed the server, or especially the manager should be the one who put wine glasses in front of everyone, opened the wine for us, and should be the one who pour wine from bottle to our glasses like most of the restaurants.
Lastly, the service was extremely unfair, they never came to our table. They sit under the bar to play their cellphones, and avoid an eye contact when I seek some help with our dishes or drink. They introduced me to another female server who does all the responsibilities in this restaurant which delayed most of the tables including ours. I felt sorry for her doing that alone, serving, collecting, refilling every tables. The others (manager, male server, and another female server) were like I mentioned, their facial expressions kinda look bored (unhappy, no smiles). The food however was good, meet the standard Thai food in big cities like LA, Chicago, Boston, or even New York. We ordered a lot more than 15 food dishes because we love Thai food and we always want to support Thai restaurants in the States.
In the end, the purpose of this review is not to discredit anyone personally, I wanted to say that everything I mentioned was from a real event. I didn't gain anything from writing this review except I want to warn anyone who chose to dine in this restaurant. It was unfortunate to be in this event, and I hope they knew what they had done will cost them a decline of customer. What upset me the most is the ignorance from the manager. I suggest anyone who's dining in this restaurant has empathy and forgiveness if you experience a service like ours.
Note for the owner and manager: Please treat everyone equally, we all here for a good food, good service, and good experience. I felt bad writing this kinda review to you, but hopefully it will benefit you in the future.
The lady at reception was extremely rude to me and my parents. Even after waiting for an hour, if we asked her long it would take for a table, she was very very impolite and spoke in a very nasty tone. Given how average the food was and how bad the staff is I would not return. GO TO BANGRAK OR BAITONG. The food there is much much better and the staff is polite. Will never return and actively tell others to avoid this place.
Khao Soi ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
- creamy
- chicken falls apart
- wish it was a little spicier
❤️Battered chicken red curry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- so crunchy and good
Wings ⭐⭐⭐
- just ok to me
Boat noodle beef soup ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- reminds me of pho but better
Salted crab papaya salad ⭐⭐⭐✨
- really good
- to eat the crab you have to suck on the ends, it's more for the overall flavor than actually chomping on it
- pretty good but not the best I've had
Spicy octopus carpacio ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- love the veggies underneath
- got 3 for spice
- the octopus wasn't as tender as I'm used to
Luak jhim (everything) ⭐⭐⭐✨
- really good for an all meat dish
- almost like pho flavored without the soup
--- drinks ---
Green tea gin and tonic ⭐⭐⭐✨
- typically don't like gin but I was fine with this!!
Tamarind sangria ⭐⭐⭐
- refreshing and light
- don't love the salted rim but if you like salt you'll like this
Mango mangrove ⭐⭐⭐✨
- wish it was more yogurty
- creamy and nutty
IMO the best Thai you can get in the area but my friends who've also visited said they did not enjoy as much. Might be some consistency issue between chefs on different days of the week. Service was lightning fast.
Some of best pad Thai I’ve ever had and cool interior
We’ve eaten here twice. Everything we have tried was delicious and large portions. The only criticism would be that the food comes out a little slowly. But that doesn’t meaningfully diminish what is an excellent restaurant that I will gladly return to when I’m in the area.
I especially recommend the fried rice, both the pineapple and crispy pork belly were great
Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and blatantly discriminatory. Despite many open tables by the windows, we were seated in the darkest corner of the restaurant. They claimed those tables were near the bar and required ID checks, but they never asked for our IDs until my friend questioned them. When we did ask, their attitude was rude and dismissive. After moving spots, the white group next to us received nice and prompt service, while we were ignored. After waiting nearly 20 minutes, our dessert never arrived. The discriminatory treatment we received is unacceptable.
I visited Kin Len Thai Night Bites for lunch on August 8th, 2024, after seeing social media hype about it being one of the best Thai restaurants in Seattle. The restaurant opens at 11:30 AM, and we were among the first customers of the day.
I ordered the Tom Yum soup, which came with rice. While the food was delicious and well worth the wait, it took about 20-30 minutes for my order to arrive. Unfortunately, my friends’ orders arrived about 30 minutes later, which extended our wait time significantly 🥹.
The restaurant started to get busier as we were dining, and I noticed there were only two staff members working outside, which likely contributed to the delays. Despite the long wait, the food was tasty, and they offer free-flow ice water, which was a nice touch.
Overall, I’d rate Kin Len Thai Night Bites four stars for its excellent food and welcoming atmosphere, though the service could be more efficient.
The food was decent overall, but in two of our dishes, we found small pieces of what appeared to be broken ceramic, which was quite alarming. Additionally, we discovered a small rock in the noodles while eating our leftovers. These incidents marred our dining experience, and we hope that the restaurant addresses these safety concerns promptly.
Very yummy food:)
Great food and service! Definitely one of my go-tos for Thai food.
The food and drinks are some of the best I’ve had as far as Thai in Seattle, the club music is a bit much though!
This is my new go to Thai spot because this place is consistent when it comes to food, drinks, and service and amazing staff. It doesn't matter if it's 5pm or 9pm, which is one hour from closing.
I highly recommend the curry because it tastes heavenly and the drinks have the perfect alcohol and flavor ratio. Side note, most things we ordered were shareable!
Fantastic food, so good!
One of the best, authentic Thai spots in the city. The happy hour is awesome. Don't be a dingus and forget to order the durian tiramisu.
They buy fish sauce by the gallon and I’m here for it. My favorite Thai spot in Seattle. Lots of street food style dishes to try.
I love the food BUT every time I have ordered take out I have had issues. My most recent trip I got a text saying it was ready, so I stopped in, and waited another 20 minutes for the order to come out, left, looked in the bag on the sidewalk - it was the wrong order and then it took another 20 to remake it… also just haven’t felt very welcomed by the staff in general. Maybe the experience would be better if I sat and ate but not sure!
Update: I have this place and third and fourth chance and the food is actually really really good . I specifically get the khao soi or the curry dishes and I really enjoy it for a cozy meal. I might try to dine in again in the future I hope they’ve improved !
Update: gave this place another chance and dined in. I was super disappointed by the service. I sat at the bar as a solo diner , wasn’t even given a hello by the server at the bar, they didn’t even look in my direction even though I was sat directly in front of them. Them chatting with their coworker was more important than a simple acknowledgment of my existence. I don’t like talking alot with bartenders when I sit at the bar alone I actually just listen to my own music , but if you don’t even acknowledge me for a full 10-15 minutes as I’m in front of you how am I supposed to feel comfortable giving you a good tip? A simple hello is bare minimum service . Anyway, food was actually good. I had the wontons and khao soi. I go to the Lap Me Lao My drink which was nice but it was 60% ice so 2 sips and you’re done. The inside of the restaurant is okay, I thought it would be more interesting from the outside and the lobby .
Overall food is good but service is awful. I don’t know if I’ll ever come back. I can’t even say I’ll order take out because my original review for takeout I was super disappointed with the quality.
Absolutely irritated and disgusted. I emailed them for a refund because my pad kee mao was disgusting and grossly over cooked ex ex. When you’re noodles are over cooked it becomes the grossest consistency I couldn’t even eat the meat. I emailed and call to get help and no answer . Super disappointed and I waited an hour for this.
Uncle Odds is my go to! Just wish it came with a bit more sticky rice for all that curry sauce
Great food and family business
What a delightful place! I really enjoyed the curry dish, and the cocktail (sea you later? Something with "sea" in the name) had a wonderful presentation. Portions were quite large, so there was absolutely enough to take home and have for lunch the next day.
This was our second visit, the first time being in 2022. Back then, the service was excellent, even before the restaurant got busy. This time, we were really looking forward to coming here and even stayed late for dinner.
However, we were quite disappointed. The curry fried chicken was overly salty, but the red curry was nicely seasoned. The beef tongue was okay, but nothing outstanding. The best dish was the beef everything (pot) and we really enjoyed the soup base and the pho.
What really made us upset was the service. Our server only came to our table to rush us to pay and leave. Additionally, we were not familiar with tipping customs in the US, as we are from Vancouver. My boyfriend didn’t realize that tips are usually given as a percentage and wrote down $15 USD (we meant to give 15%). We apologized and asked the waitress if we could change it, but she said no and even signed my boyfriend’s name on the receipt and clicked confirm without asking😡😡😡😡This really upset me, but she walked away before I could argue with her. Luckily, another host/waiter understood the situation and gave us a refund without a word, which I really appreciated. His service was good today, but I wonder if this kind of situation happens frequently here
Little bit too American taste to me but maybe because I ate way too spicy :) Good though
Best damn curry I've ever had, the one with the fried chicken on top. Wide noodle dishes are decent. Fun drinks, good happy hour.
The food was very tasty and the portions were big (4 of us were happy with an appetizer, a salad, and 2 main courses). The server went out of her way to get us extra spicy sauce and then later a container to take the sauce home. She checked on us often and brought more water as needed. The food came out roughly backwards in order which was a little odd: first our fried rice (main), next curry (also a main course), then salad, and last appetizer. My favorite was the battered chicken red curry; it had some heat but also an excellent flavor besides the spice. The Thai papaya salad was good as well but also packed some heat (I think we requested level 2.) The Spice Bomb Wings were very difficult and messy to eat as well as too spicy for my taste (lips tingling/burning and not much other flavor noticeable) but my husband liked them and the pickled cabbage and sticky rice served with it did help balance the spice out. The main downside to the experience was the frantic club-style music that encouraged you to eat at high speed. I would describe the decor as Thai trendy, but the music overwhelmed my impression of the ambiance completely and gave me an "eat quick and get out so the next guest can eat" vibe.
Out of this world Thai food. We did family style and ordered 11 different dishes. Every single one was exceptional.
It was busy when we went so there was a bit of a wait. If you and your party are all above the age of 21 and don't mind sitting at the bar, that helps decrease the wait time. That wasn't the case for us so it was 15-20 minutes before we were seated at a table.
The food was yum. I liked the Pad Kee Mao and my friend's coconut curry was delicious. I can't say the same about the Pad Thai that I had a chance to try. It had a different flavor than what I was used to but the texture was good.
The interior is very pretty and the service was good.
Best Thai food I've had in Seattle! Great portions and prices are reasonable.
Updated review:
Still #1 Thai restaurant in Seattle for amazing food, reasonable prices, and great service. I tried the boat noodles everything and kin len wings and a draft beer from their happy hour menu which is available 3-6 pm every day. OMG the wings were soooooo good. It was fried well—the fried outside part was deliciously crunchy and the inside meat was well cooked. I didn’t get her name but thank you so much for your beer recommendation because I usually don’t like beer but I loved this draft beer so much!!! The boat noodles everything was also very delicious, the beef pieces were so tender and full of flavor! The soup is definitely on sweeter side but that’s what I wanted hehe. Will be back again for the happy hour!
Summer 2023: If you haven’t yet been, head on over there ASAP. Best food I had in Seattle by far 🫶
The spicy octopus carpaccio was the spiciest dish I ever ate in the United States. Tears and snot were automatically streaming down my face but it was so good. The octopus slices were very tender and this spicy sauce on top of it with peppers and onions was super spicy but so addicting. You can’t help but keep eating.
The waitress recommended battered chicken red curry and pork toro which were both soooo good. The battered chicken red curry isn’t too spicy which I was very thankful for after having consumed the octopus. The battered chicken is the right amount of crispy for me — not too crispy that the roof of my mouth hurts and is being scraped but also not too soft. The curry sauce was really good with rice which they give a bowl of on the side. Just a beautifully executed dish with deep flavor.
The pork toro was amazing! It is tender but has some firmness to it so it’s almost like crunchy texture? It’s grilled well and it’s so yummy when you dip a piece into the sweet sauce and eat it with the sticky rice.
One thing I wouldn’t order is the grilled shrimp from the happy hour menu. They literally gave us 3 ittybitty pieces of shrimp for $7. What the heck?! So I wouldn’t recommend that dish.
Also, the restaurant has a long wait — we went on Thursday 7:30 pm ish and it was like 30-40 minute wait. I wouldn’t recommend the atmosphere for people who don’t want loud noises. It’s REALLY LOUD with the restaurant packed with people talking with each other. Just a heads up.
9/10 (-1 for the ridiculously priced shrimp dish), would definitely go again the next time I am in Seattle!
The food is very delicious and has the flavor of Thai food. The wait staff inside are very friendly. The thing that hurts the most is that the front desk staff are not friendly. No assistance in answering questions Not willing to work It is appropriate that the restaurant must consider it very much.
Good food, nice setting, and excellent service.
I went to this restaurant once a year and a half ago on vacation. I dream of the khao soi and this sounds like I'm exaggerating but I am not. This was the greatest meal I have ever had in my life. The table was SILENT. Faces in bowls. My buddy had the prawns and glass noodles and halfway through he asked the waitress to please bring him a second one. Whoever is the chef at Kin Len just know that you are the love of my life and I wish you happiness and abundance for all time. You will always be famous.
This Thai place is absolutely amazing. The food servings were big and every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The venue is beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly.
The only downside is the long wait and their terrible online menu. I suggest you come an hour early and you won't be disappointed once you're in the restaurant.
This restaurant delivers delicious food and friendly service.
However, the atmosphere can be quite noisy, making conversation a challenge. Additionally, the fast-paced nature of the restaurant might not be ideal for a relaxed dining experience.
Long wait times, but good food, and amazing happy hour prices! We put our name on the waitlist for dinner just before 7pm and were seated at 9pm. We ordered the red curry in the happy hour size, fried rice, Korean wings, Kao soi, and lychee martinis. All the dishes were good, and the drinks were on the stronger side. I recommend getting the red curry chicken with a side of rice or side of roti as the vermicelli side option was mushy and all-stuck together. Staff were efficient. The space is well-decorated and had great music.
Almost no service, very busy. Waited 1h on Saturday night.
Grilled beef tongue gets cold very fast, too chewy to break it down and swallow.
Bomb spicy chicken only has sauce and flavor outside, and it’s not spicy if you can eat spicy like me.
Curry is good. Durian tiramisu is good.
Great food and ambiance.
Didn’t get to watch since the wait was more than an hour, but took some photos and will give it a 4 until we get the chance to eat here.
My friend who recommended it said it’s the best Thai he’s had. I hope I get the chance soon to give it the 5 stars ⭐️ I hope it deserves.
Worst service ever. Using the barcode accidentally order the pick up category at the restaurant, also pay the tips. But the restaurant refused to dine in with such rude manner and attitude . What a ridiculous service and restaurant!
Service was not good. Sever never came to check on us or give us more water. They also forgot to ring in one of the dishes we ordered. It took forever to get the bill.
Music was a bit loud, but the food was great. The 4 of us shared chicken kra pow (very good, tangy flavor), red curry chicken (light sweetness, but velvety smooth flavor and spice), pad kee mao (perfect texture on the noodles and well cooked pork; very tasty), grilled calamari, and papaya salad.
Will definitely return!
I visited this place with my friend today for lunch at 2:30 pm. We ordered a hotpot with everything and a lunch combo. The food was fine, but not the service.
The waitress came by several times during our lunch to ask if we were finished, even though we were only halfway done with our order. The restaurant wasn't busy at all during our lunch time; they only had 5 tables in total, including us. I don't understand why they kept checking on us. About 10 minutes later, we finally finished and asked for the check. Since we still had some leftovers, we also asked for a couple of boxes from the waitress who was helping us pay our bill. While we were talking with her, another waitress - Micky - came by and took all of my dishes without asking if we needed to-go boxes or not. She immediately took away all of the dishes from the table, including my water and drinks. We tried to stop her from taking our dishes and drinks, but she only left the dishes and took away my drink. The way she took the cups was by stacking all the cups together, and my drink was the cup at the bottom of all the cups. After signing our check, I told the waitress who was helping us that I was still working on my drink and someone had already taken it from my table. A couple of minutes later, she came back with my drink in a Togo cup, which looked like the drink I had. I asked her if that was the same drink I had in the cup, and she said yes. I told her that I saw how the waitress cleaned up our table and I didn't feel comfortable having my drink from the same cup since it already got dirty during the clean-up, so I asked her if I could have a new one. One minute later, she came back with the same Togo cup for my drink, but with a whole cup of ice to make it look like a new drink. I didn't say anything and walked out of the restaurant.
I feel super disappointed in the way they treated customers, and the waitress didn't apologize for the mistakes they made. I'm guessing maybe it's because we're the only Asian faces during lunchtime, and it's okay to treat customers like this. I don't think I will be coming back again.
The food is excellent and the portions are very big for the price, the place can get busy sometimes and waiters don't get to you fast enough but that doesn't make the experience bad. The atmosphere is good but the general space is noisy.
We were genuinely excited to try several new (to us) Thai dishes and few go-tos. Unfortunately Kin Len definitely fell short on one. See pics of a dessert we ordered vs. what we actually received. We tried really hard at first looking for just what was "Rainbow" about ours feeling pretty stupid. I love treating myself to unique, exquisite desserts...and this "Rainbow" Custard was not worth close to $10.
