Curries, noodles & other familiar Thai fare, plus many beers on tap, are found in modest surrounds.
We tried this place out, hoping for some good Thai curry. We were not disappointed. We got to know the owner who is from Northern Thailand. The food was legit Thai. The place was clean and the food helpings generous. I ordered Pineapple Curry with Chicken prepared mild. It was just right for me. The menu had a lot of variety, and the food came quickly.
Wow what a great meal. Ordered green curry and their black pepper garlic beef, both dishes were delicious, fresh, and a great amount of food. One of the best green curries I’ve had, and easily the best Thai food in the area. Thanks for a great dinner.
My favorite Thai restaurant. Ate here pretty much every weekend throughout college and still grab a bite here when I’m back in town. The owner always makes us feel welcome. The food is always great, and there’s always enough food to take back home for another meal or two! My parents even look forward to getting it on parents weekends! My favorite dishes are the beef pad see ew and the green or yellow curry, but everything I’ve tried here I liked.
We stopped I'm here on a trip. The restaurant was dimly lit, a little dated inside. But quiet, and somewhat private with dividers between booths. Service was adequate, without being pushy or over attentive. We ordered pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice. Average price compared to other restaurants, but giant portions which I really can appreciate. I prefer large portions so I have some left overs to take home, and was not disappointed. The pad thai had a good flavor. The pineapple fried rice was a bit bland, but plenty of pineapple which is why I buy it. Alot of restaurants only put a few pieces of pineapple in pineapple fried rice. This is not one of those restaurants. Just wish it had a little more flavor in the rice. Overall a mediocre experience. If I am in town I may return, or try another restaurant.
Ordered the sizzling 1/2 duck. It came out all chopped up and excessively dry. Like a dried up piece of liver. The manager came to the table and said if I don’t pay him, he can’t pay for food. He says they order the food already cooked in bags and they reheat it to serve it. They have no control of how well done the food is since they don’t make it. He refuses to remake an order for me, he refused to take it off my bill and told me I have to pay or he doesn’t get paid. This place is GROSS!!!! 🤮 let alone the horrible service! 25.99 for this plate.
So, you are looking for fresh, tasty and fresh with great service to boot? This is your place. Since 2011 we have made Thai Ginger our ‘go-to’ for Asian cuisine. We have tried them all within the region and Thai Ginger always wins out. The owner/operators are always friendly, efficient and they always get the order right. We still find ways to get there from 2 hours away!
Been many times. The pad thai and yellow curry are shining menu items. Definitely better if dine in. The family works very hard and you can tell.
Best thai in the area.

Needs to be spicier
Great Thai food

the food was delicious the service was wonderful and the portions were impressive! a new pullman favorite for sure
The best Thai ever!
Incredible Basil Fried rice!!
Good little average Thai place. Wasn’t impressed with lay out. It was dark and gloomy. Needed some music playing you couldn’t talk without everyone listening

Food was good . Place was empty and it seemed like there was 1 person waiting tables and maybe a cook. Nothing special about the food it was just OK.
Amazing Thai food, best in the state.
(Update)
Went here again at a later time and still the best food I have ever had.
We tried this place out, hoping for some good Thai curry. We were not disappointed. We got to know the owner who is from Northern Thailand. The food was legit Thai. Thai ice coffee, yum wooden, and a red duck curry were great, surprised to get such good Thai food in Pullman. Atmosphere is kinda dull but go there to eat, not to admire the decor lol
Great food, big portions!
My girlfriend and I were on a road trip to Palouse to see the rolling hills. We stopped by this place for lunch. The place was dim and gave off a creepy vibe that you see in a horror movie. Nobody was there, and it was somewhat dark. No music or anything. Food was good but the dark, creepy atmosphere ruined the vibe lol
Way over priced and the food has kinda gone down hill sorry but used to love this place but kinda disappointing now.
The food was delicious!!! I would be back and back again.
Every time my brother and dad come to town, we dine here with my boyfriend. The food is very yummy - didn’t take long to arrive - and the vibes in the dining room are very tranquil. I do recommend eating here!
I don’t usually make reviews but this place was SO GOOD that it felt like a crime not to. We went for Mother’s Day 2024 and the food was INCREDIBLE. Make sure you get the fried prawns, Thai milk tea, and mango sticky rice because they were all so heavenly and had really fancy presentation too! Everything else was also amazing, but those three were my highlights. This place is now my new obsession!!
Great Food I had the vegetable Dish with chicken. Super hot and fresh. It tasted really good! My husband had the Broccoli with Chicken, hot and fresh and was delicious.

Came here after my sister’s graduation from WSU. The restaurant wasn’t full but it took about 10 minutes to get seated and another 10 minutes before we even got our drink orders placed. In their defense there was only 1 server and I think 1 person in the back cooking. It looks a little sketchy inside but the food was delicious.
We ordered the sizzling duck. The menu states “half a duck” so we expected to see have a duck. Instead it was chopped to pieces. The duck was dried out and rubbery - basically inedible. We alerted the owner and they told us this is how it’s served and they wouldn’t do anything to make it right. They were more concerned with the fact that THEY needed to pay for the food from their supplier than the fact that they overcooked it. This is a $25 dish. As it’s one of their most expensive items you’d expect it to be better. The soup was delicious though and portions were large.
This is the best restaurant in Pullman. Insane Thai food with great portions and good prices. Stop sleeping on Thai Ginger.
Delicious, authentic thai food and good portions! Highly recommend.
Great food!!!
I tries to call them to order but they cut the line! Bad service
I don't know why they have less stars for review. I enjoyed the food here. We tried Tum Yum and Cashew chicken. Both were fantastic. I also loved the service they provided
Their curries and pad Thai are amazing.
I love coming here with my friends and getting some great food! The atmosphere is so cozy and I’m obsessed with their curry. I’ve never been disappointed when coming here!
Always good food and great friendly service
Was there a few months back n' didn't have a phone then, just wanted to let you know how wonderful 👍 our visit was n' how fabulous the food is very delicious, thank you!
Great food. Nice people. We get spring rolls, Phad Thai, pad Se ew, massaman curry to go.
I go into this restaurant very regularly with my girl friend and we have never been disappointed. Super amazing staff and amazing food. Highly recommend this to all students and their families.
My son and I ate lousy food in this dark, empty, silent restaurant. I got Crying Tiger steak: some plain, tough flank with white rice and a tiny cup of decent sauce. My son got a very plain vegetable noodle soup that tasted like it had a cup of sugar in it - weird. May try again, but probably not.
Loved the chicken pad Thai. Asked for spicy, they got really close. Flavor was awesome.
Good food and good deals. I always feel satisfied when I leave and usually have left overs. Their phone in service is great and they're on time with their orders and expectations.
We decided to check this place out over parents weekend. The outside isn’t inspiring but the food was fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone. The soup had a fun presentation and my daughter had lots of leftovers even though we shared 2 meals with three people.
By far the best Pad Thai in the whole Palouse area. I’ve tried at least 5 different Pad Thai and this takes the cake no question. Great portion, good peanut flavor along woth the peanuts on the side. Lovely touch with a full 1/5th of a lemon to squeeze over and very crunchy and fresh mung bean sprouts. Swrvice was very efficient and friendly for takeout order. Was ready 15 minutes after I called. Thank you everyone at Thai Ginger! Had to dig in before the picture but presentation was lovely I assure you all.
We ordered Pad Thai, Red Curry, and a beef dish. The Red Curry was very nice. The Pad Thai was average... Beef dish was okay.
What’s a little yellow curry among friends?
Thai Ginger has ascended to stratospheric levels of love among the Landis family. Need a birthday or anniversary present? Gift card time! Whenever I drive through Pullman, I must fight the urge to pull up. I lose this fight every time.
FYI Thai Ginger before the apple cup hits extra hard
Favorite place in town :) love the (bring a tupper). 48 Phad Eggplant 😌
We went for Father's Day dinner and everyone loved the curries. The pork spring rolls were the perfect size for the appetizer. The mango fried rice was amazing, very generous serving size.
The food was great and the portions are large.
나의 대학시절 소울푸드집🥲
갑자기 땡겻다
Good local Thai food. The restaurant was clean and the service quick and efficient. Went here with my mom and grandma for an early mother's day lunch. We ordered two of the red pineapple curry with mild spice and one of the massaman curry with medium spice. The red curry ended up being spicier than the massaman curry, so it seems that different Currys have different inherent spiciness. Overall though, the food was excellent and the prices were decent. I would definitely go here again.
Thai Ginger is one of my favorite restaurants not only in Pullman, but anywhere. The customer service is clear and kind, and the food is incredible and made with love. It’s affordable and consistently delicious!
Delicious! Large portions, very worth the money. I have been eating here since 2011, it’s the best! I love the Pineapple Curry and the Phad Thai.
Best thai food in all of pullman and probably the best within the next 50-100 miles. I love the staff here and everytime the vibe is always positive. There is never an instance where you feel uncomfortable. i’ve ate here since my freshman year and will continue to eat here until I pass on.
Great food and right next to a free public parking lot. Building is not much to look at from the outside, however, the inside was clean and service excellent. I'd say it is the best Thai food in Pullman. Try the beef panang curry.
The food is great, the service is wonderful, and it's always super comfortable inside. I enjoy when they have pork buns and my girlfriend really likes the fried eggplant that comes with the fried veggies
Big portions, totally affordable and it tastes delicious! Our party ordered 4 different dishes and they were all amazing!
I've gone several times, and the meals have always been swiftly made, delicious, with excellent waitstaff. Even when crowded, they've done an excellent job. Highly recommended
Great food and service. We were a large group and were easily served, lots of room.

So good!
I love their Kao Soi. Id recommend it to people :D
Phad Thai was great. Dinner service was fast and the owners are friendly.
Pork buns tasted dense instead of fluffy. Egg rolls arrived cold in the middle, seems like they were prefrontal/store-bought. Fried rice was good, but somewhat expensive.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Yellow curry is off the charts amazing!
Amazing food and service
Maybe not my taste, good service.
Lots of choice and we'll prepared. Enjoyed our meal with our granddaughter who is a student at WSU. Just wish they had hot and sour soup by the bowl.
An authentic taste but spicy must be requested. Great Thai iced coffee.
Good food but not as good as should be for the price.
We just ate for here for the first time. We came in pretty late, about 40 minutes before closing and they were very nice and extremely helpful with my GF's allergies. Food was fantastic and the portion sizes were great for the price. We will be coming back.
Great food, fast service! Was an episode of Stranger Things filmed in the women’s bathroom? Maybe.
The food was good but the service was excellent!
Absolute nightmare. A bug in the fried rice, and servers' lack of professionalism.
A bug in a plate and terrible attitude and service of both of servers
어디가서 컴플레인 잘 안하는데….벌래 나왔다고 서버한테 말하니, 서버 왈 “ You can not come back later”…
No complaints about the food. Food was awesome though it looked stale.
Yeah that's right... Stale. Initially, we ordered food for carry out. In 10 mins I called again saying that we would be dining in. So not to pack the food. Also I had mentioned that we would be 15 mins more time to reach. To much of my surprise, they had kept food open on plate and it was cold. On top of that owner is blaming me that I had come late and since they had less customers, food didn't take much time for preparation. It is just common sense to serve food once the customer arrives. On top of that, the owner was very RUDE! And when asked if it can be heated, he mentioned kitchen is closed at 8.20 pm (Closing time is 9 pm).
I wish Google maps has 0 stars. This restaurant deserved ZERO star.
Have only gotten take out but it really is some of the best pad thai and pad see ew I've ever had. If you ask for spicy, it's perfect!
Thai coffee! One of the best I have ever had.
Great food!! My girlfriend and I always get the yellow curry and split it with an extra side of rice. The staff are so nice and the food is delicious. Every time someone asks for a good restaurant in Pullman I always say Thai Ginger!!
I have been going here for years love the atmosphere
Good food. 😁
Great sushi!!
Once a good place now have gone down pretty badly. It started by first reducing the quantity but now the taste too is bad. Tried Chicken cashew and it was pretty bad.
Thai Ginger is great, I get takeout about once a week. Pad Thai, Fried Rice, and Fried Chicken have all been delicious. Big portions too
Great food. Great service. Always consistent.
Fast and delicious!!!!!
Solid Green Curry and Tom Kha. We will definitely be back.
Food was good, not great. The place was filthy and made eating there highly questionable, what virus will we walk away with? Which is fine if you are a thrill seeker! Wait staff friendly but never comes back to see if you would like another drink or need anything else.
The food here is really good and they put a lot on your plate.
Very good and authentic food. The wait times were very short and the service was great. Food portions were quite large as well. Definitely recommend this place, and i will be dining here again.
It was okay, nothing special if you eat Thai food on the west side. Flavorless and soupy noodles not worth the price.
P good
Gave me food poisoning, and then hospitalized me
Their fried rice with basil is always good. I tried the pad Thai and egg rolls as well and was not at all impressed. The one time I tried their tofu it wasn’t at all crispy which may just be a preference thing but tofu as the protein of a dish isn’t that appealing to me if it isn’t crispy.
Thai food, prices about what you expect from a thai joint and the food was on par with other thai places I have been.
This is my go to Thai place in Pullman. They are always quick, less than 15 minutes from ordering to getting food, lots of choices, everything is flavorful. I always get phad se ewe, fried rice, butterflies, Thai tea, or phad Thai. I go here about every other week and it never disappoints. The other great thing is the portion to the price is great. You get so much food that you basically get 2 meals for the price of 1. Highly recommend getting food here.
There was a stale smell inside the restaurant. Probably they started operating late after covid but they could make it slightly better for people to eat inside. Food was okay. Thai Ice tea was great. And service was okay.
Absolutely amazing food, stellar staff, and a great experience. I'll definitely be going again!
Very good Thai food. Enjoyed the curry.
Very good food and big quantities for good price.
I ordered a Thai iced tea and there were dead ants in it. Disgusting.
Their pad thai is the best! especially with peanut sauce on the side and their thai iced tea which is not too sweet!!
Great curry and pahd thai.
Great food, good service, my family is Vietnamese and we loved the food. It was an unexpected pleasure.
I have eaten here in multiple occasions eating a few dishes and appetizers but by far not covering the entirety of the menu. Food was delicious, some of the best pad thai I've ever had, and reliably quick delivered large portions, not to mention friendly service. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Moscow or Pullman area interested in an affordable and full Thai meal.
I have gone here many times, the service is fast and friendly, the Food is AMAZING, and the ambiance is great. I have gotten their pad thai and it has consistently been awesome, it is some of the best pad thai I have ever had. I would highly reccomend this place.
Great food, especially the butterflies and Pad Thai!
This is their red curry with fried rice and chicken. I taste no curry, and it's 90% rice with about 5 bites of chicken. Not worth $13 by a long shot. At least I ordered to-go and didn't have to pay extra for a tip. On the plus side, there wasn't much of a wait for a sit-down restaurant.
Yum!
Are you kidding me Thai Ginger? The amount of Pad Thai you gave me was out of control. I was worried that the amount was to make up for the quality but I WAS DEAD WRONG. This is delicious. Thank you for what you do.
Best Phad Kee Mao in town! Love this place.
I eat here all the time! It's always super fast and everything is always super good. :))
I don’t like your hair or pieces of metal scrubber in my pad Thai
I got garden delight with pork and my partner got the spicy green bean with beef. First, she opened the food and I thought someone had farted. The garden delight was just prefrozen veggies that you get at the supermarket, pork wasn’t distinguishable as pork, cashews were good though. Spicy green beans was not spicy, beans bland and beef was not good. Service was fine. Peanut sauce with fresh rolls was 4/5. Will not be going back
Authentic taste!
So much yumminess here!!! And VERY fast!!
Me and my partner both ordered the Thai Iced Tea and discovered that we both had multiple dead ants in our drinks. Disgusting.
In my opinion best place to get Phad Thai. You don’t have to wait long. It’s a heavy amount of food and the price is hard to beat with amount and time efficiency. My go to phad thai location!
I graduated from Pullman about 6 years ago and still reminisce about the quality and value of this place. If I am ever back in Pullman I will definitely go here before anywhere else in town.
Good
Excellent food.
Was ok
Thai Ginger is my go to Thai restaurant in Pullman. I absolutely love the Phad Thai and Siam Surprise!!
I just love the yellow curry and the fried tofu, so good!!!!!!!
Loved this restaurant. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because it's on the more expensive side. It is worth the money, though, especially because you get pretty large portions. My one meal will last me three. Thai tea is amazing! ❤️❤️
Delicious food. For vegetarian, i would highly recommend Fried Mango Rice...
I love the undon here the best they always good prices have been increased because of economy
Good food with large portions. Try the phad Thai with extra peanut sauce
Great curry
Best Phad Thai in this region!
Good food
Horrible service, did not even offer anything besides water, chicken was cold in the middle, told the server and she did not even acknowledge what I said, I will never go there again, and definitely do not recommend any one go there, unless you want samanilla poisoning
Horrible service, my family of 6 walked in for dads weekend. We asked if they had a table and they said no when they had plenty of tables, we asked if we could squeeze to a booth or add a chair to the end and they said no as they continued to seat everyone around us...wanting us to stand and wait for the only table that had a bunch of chairs while the family sitting there had yet even gotten their meal. They didn’t accommodate to anything we were asking, there was no problem with us squeezing into a booth.
I really like the Chicken Larb
Their curry is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.
Great food, very slow service.
