Venture into the heart of authentic Thai cuisine at Chan Thai Restaurant, a hidden gem located amidst the picturesque streets of Marysville.
Ordered via DoorDash, my food was delivered in a timely manner (I live about 15 minutes away, ordered on a Sunday night)
I ordered the Thai garlic with chicken and it was so good! Wish there would’ve been more carrots than there was cabbage but that’s my preference!
The potstickers were perfect, I’m so glad they weren’t super oily!
Last but not least I ordered some peanut sauce, the portion size was perfect and it tasted good with my meal and appetizer.
Don’t review often only when needed. Ordered orange chicken and with in the 5 minute drive home was soggy, tasted good but disappointed.
Pad Thai is ok, tastes too much like ketchup for my liking.
For 50 dollar meal and entrees ordered I would also hope that rice would be given with the meal like other Thai restaurants in the area
Best place in Marysville! They are so kind. Last time I went (literally today) I mentioned I was pregnant and he gave me a free Thai iced tea to help with my upset stomach! Food is excellent. Thank you for being here!
The restaurant is has a great atmosphere and the service was good. The food tasted good. My main complaint is that the price is a couple dollars higher than most other Thai restaurants while the portions are below average. Won’t be coming back for that reason.
wonderful evertime, so delicious.

They are really yummy. I really like their pad Thai and their peanut sauce on everything. Their service is really fast and the restaurants cool looking and clean! They keep you in their system so when you call in they know your regular order and preferences to.
Everything ordered was fresh delicious, and decently priced. Loved the sticky black rice!

Clean and very comfortable. The food is very good.
The pad see ew had a strange sweetness to it. It wasn't bad but wasn't good. The orange chicken tasted like ketchup. The crispy garlic chicken was very good. My biggest complaint is my bill was $80 for 2 people. I left a cash tip as I always do . They charged me the $80 the bill was and an extra $20, I assume for a tip. Which I left in cash. Who does that. I didn't approve of that extra $20. I will not go back, and I have my receipt and will be calling my bank
Great food! Definitely coming back!
Best panang curry around!!
This was the worst orange chicken I’ve ever had, it was like trying to eat rubber. And why did my fried rice have a half of a tomato in it. I thought this was suda Thai in Arlington on DoorDash but I was wrong. Dead wrong. Definitely just threw away $76.05. Literally threw it in the trash.
Some people would consider it fine but it just wasn't what I'm used to
Picked up a to go order from here and my food was so so good ! I got the paid Thai 4star and I got spring rolls and fresh rolls with peanut sauce also the Thai garlic chicken ! So good . Thank you
Ordered two mains and an appetizer online. We live close so we expected the orange chicken to be crispy when we got home. Nope.
The pad Thai is saturated with so much ketchup it’s almost inedible. My toddler did like it though.
Neither main dish came with rice.
The appetizer was okay.
You’re better off driving to Rice Up Thai in lake stevens. We order online from them and our chicken is always crispy when we get home. AND we get tons of rice included.
Don’t review often only when needed. Ordered orange chicken and with in the 5 minute drive home was soggy, tasted good but disappointed.

I thought this place was excellent. Great food, good.people, beautiful setting.
They got my order wrong
I’ve been looking for a good thai place in the area and this is my favorite by far!! I love their Panang curry, and the prices are very fair for the quality and amount of food. If you’re looking for a new place to try, this is a great choice!
Having already tried better authentic thai food taste. This restaurant was off the mark.
Padthai was way too saucey and sweet. Needed rice to cut off the seasoning.
Fried rice was good but too oily and lack the wok smokey flavour (wok not hot enough). Tomyam soup was super sour, but good enough to have it with rice. Green curry was good, but its hard to fail on curry. Do not get their brown rice - it was either uncooked or microwaved out of the fridge.
Overall a good experience. Will not be back unless they have someone that can really taste their food and control the quality.
Service was quick and attentive.
Disappointed usually this place is decent however dont arive an hour before closing and expect to get what you ordered. I ordered to go for the curry with peanuts in it which is my favorite and the only kind of curry dish i like. When i got home they had given me the panang curry dish and it was terrible. The carrots in the curry were still raw and portion that they gave me looked like someone elses left overs. Im sad bec now they are closed and i cant do anything about it. The brown rice is absolutely horrible it tasted like it was undercooked along with the rest of the meal. I dont think i will be coming back here and it makes me sad to say but noone really cared to make sure my order was correctly made
Food was tasty but portions are VERY small for the 18 dollars plus tip I paid for one meal. Sadly I’ll have to try other Thai restaurants for better value
I liked the papaya salad. I tried to order it again through uber eats because it is Friday but the incorrect hours are posted. Ah well.
I love this place, they take special requests and my absolutely favorite dish is the duck.
Dreadful food! Horrible service! Never again! I know great Thai food and being in Marysville is no excuse for bad food! Where do I begin! If you can't make an easy staple like Pad Thai you shouldn't be in the restaurant business! Noodles were overcooked, sauce was not fresh or well prepared and had a bad flavor! Definitely not freshly prepared! Waitress didn't check on us once during the meal and we had to get our own napkins and take out boxes! We spent 87 dollars and were extremely disappointed. I've eaten Thai food for over 50 years around the Seattle area and Chan Thai is the worst!
Always a good experince
Professional fraud. She added tips on my paid online order after giving her a cash tips.
Great food in a strip mall style atmosphere.
High quality curry in great portions. The service was amazing! Highly recommend.
We’re Big fan of Thai food but give 1 star for this place . Papaya salad was too bad ,too salty and we’re 4 adults try to tasted it but we couldn’t eat it. We told them but they said that the way they make papaya salad (they didn’t even want to fix it). They automatically charge 18% tip for table of 6 And with this bad food and service they don’t deserve tips that much .(other dishes were just ok )
First, understand that three stars indicates that my expectations were met. The food and service were fine. No problems were experienced in any way or in anything related to our meal, the service or the atmosphere.
But since five stars is the pinnacle of the rating system, it appears to indicate no room for improvement and near perfection. Since this is obviously not the case, here is how I award added stars. Four stars is earned by pleasantly surprising me. The five star reward has to indicate that I was blown away by the meal and the service.
Nice,friendly, clean environment
Amazing service and especially food ❤️👍
Prices went waayyy up. Food is hit or miss and if you don't tip ONE time out of many for take out they get mad and treat you poorly. The portion size also went down. :/ This used to be my favorite Thai place in the area.... not anymore
Extremely small portions for the price. The panang curry was only 2/3rds full and the Thai basil barely covered the bottom of the "to go" container. I bought both dishes to have left overs and easily ate both in one sitting, not the way I wanted to spend $40
$17 for pretty much anything, too expensive for the quality of the portions.
This is my go-to thai place for this area. Everything they make there always comes out perfect. The appetizer sampler with an order of the pad thai and tom kha soup is my go to and it is consistently delicious every single time. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
This place was delicious I would 100% recommend to all my friends
Great food and service!
Absolutely loved the service, the waitress was exceptional and actually listened to my picky requests. I appreciate the great service!!
Food wasn't as good as it looked on the menu, service was horrible, she tossed our silverware on the table, the table was sticky. Food was very pricey and the portions were small. Horrible place. Wasted both time and money there.
The food was good but definitely not the best Thai food we've had. The portions are on the smaller side for the price. The Calamari portion was extremely disappointing. However, the food isn't our main complaint. The server was not pleasant at all. There were only two other tables with people other than us so it wasn't extremely busy. She literally tossed everything (menus, water, food) to us. She was bothered when we asked for things (water and hot sauce). There were at least three tables that had dirty dishes on them so we couldn't sit at a booth because they hadn't been cleared.
Still one of my favorite places to get Thai food. The curry is delicious.
Food was good, service friendly. Arrived shortly before closing and so I was given the option of carry-out only. Got back to hotel to eat it and found that it was delicious.
I enjoy the food from here much better than Lakewood Thai. The hours listed online for Chan Thai have never been correct - for the 2 years I've lived in the area. They've changed the hours, but they still are not correct. I've called to place orders an hour before closing and they say they are closing in 15 minutes, many many times. It's annoying, but the food is delicious. No dishes we haven't liked yet.
The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I ordered the Chicken Phad Thai, Beef Rad Nah, and Chicken Satae. This is best Thai food I have found in Marysville. I will be a return customer!
This was our 1st time trying chan thai, read reviews and had high hopes. My food the tamarind crispy chicken, 2 star, not spicy seemed like cheap teriyaki from Safeway. My wife ordered pad ke mau 5 star that had 0 spice didn't finish our food. Just disappointed, and for how much$, never go back
Cute little place with really nice staff. I cut one star because the poor fish in the fish tank are swimming in really dirty water and another because my curry was tasty but it came out barley warm with cold chicken.
Great local Thai restaraunt. Eaten here many times and never disapoints.
Food is delicious. Consistent quality. Best Thai I've had in Marysville! They got my orde wrong once but I didn't say anything because it was late, and the food was still good- just not what I ordered! Nice staff.
Love the atmosphere and the wait staff makes you feel at home. The food is excellent 👌 😋
Good food and great service.
Bland and bland
The food is so delicious, one of my favorite Thai spots in WA. The Phad Thai has the right balance of sweet, salty, spicy and savory. The curry is full of flavor the veggies are crisp and the rice is just right. A great place to eat.
Our order came quickly, however my food was hot, with cold chicken. Good flavors & friendly service though.
Love this place
The food was delicious, the service was very good, and the price was fare.
Came here randomly so I didn't have to cook that night and haven't found a good local Thai restaurant yet. Ordered general tso, pad Thai and fried rice. Was fantastic.
Place is always a hit
Food was really good and the Service was excellent. A smaller and comfortable place to eat.
I was disappointed with the taste of the food. The food was served quickly and service was good. Not sure if the chef was new or this is the existing standard. 4 star spice was too spicy 🥵. I may give it a try after few months if this continues so that I can upgrade my rating. For now it's 3 stars.
Not good Thai food, flavors were horribly off. I had a piece of wire like from a grill brush and a huge piece of egg shell all in one soup. It’s a No from me
The rice taste so bad.
Ordered 2 chai iced teas, and we received cups of ice with only a little tea.
Ordered 2 Pad See Ew and they both were extremely dry. We called the restaurant to provide feedback and they didn’t even ask to bring us a new one or give us a discount or something on a new order. They just said we can bring it back. No customer service at all.
Everett has better Thai food and customer service
Had the cashew nut chicken lunch special to go. It was really good. Only issue was that I couldn’t place the order online. When I mentioned this to the staff member. She said that online ordering isn’t turned on until 3pm.
Overall, very pleased with my experience and the food. Will definitely visit again when I am in the area.
Overall tasted great. I eat Thai food very often. The chicken on my Pad See Ew was dry but the delicious noodles made up for it. I also had the Crab Rangoon and Crispy Garlic Chicken. The crispy garlic chicken was the best with some rice! I also asked for 4/5 spicy and it was a great level of spicy for me. I would go back!
My favorite place . They are very nice .
Delicious original Thai cuisine, nice interior and very friendly servants
The best crispy basil chicken!!
A little pricey but totally worth it. Seriously some of the most flavorful Thai food in the area. My favorite is the green curry, perfect balance of spicy and sweet.
This place has always been not only convenient, but really friendly and reasonably priced. Food is good, service is pretty quick.
In case you're wondering what to get, the answer is you're getting the salmon curry. I usually get something else there, but one day I was feeling adventurous and got the salmon curry, and it changed everything. It was somehow both crispy and sweet, but not too sweet, and it went so well with the curry that I asked my friend to try it, who doesn't really like salmon. He practically had a religious experience (his words) and now it's all he wants whenever we go, which is often if we're in the area.
The service was cheerful and speedy! The food was both delicious and beautiful! Best Thai ever!
Absolutely awful. The price you pay for what you get is terrible. $16 for an entree and there was maybe 5 pieces of chicken, pad thai was dry and probably the worst we ever had. Will never order again.
Have had the Pad Thai here several times. Always delicious!! Friendly service!
Excellent food and service
Yum yum
So maybe these guys were just having a bad evening but I was fairly disappointed with Chan Thai, and I have had a lot of thai food in the area from Mt. Vernon to Everett and this was definitely sub par. Ordered food for 3 people and all of our dishes (2 entree's, 1 massaman curry, and 1 order of fresh rolls) were very bland, rubbery, and watery. The portions were very small and there were very few fresh vegetables in each dish that was supposed to come with them, and those that were present were obviously just frozen/reheated or it looked like they just threw some shredded lettuce/cabbage from a bag in the mix (Which was weird)
Summary: Food was bland, poorly cooked, and small portions. Probably will go elsewhere.
It was good. A bit over priced for simple foods. Like pad thai. 14.99
The portions were unacceptable. Barely gave me any food even barely enough for 1 person. Please fix this issue.
I got crab fried rice, chicken pad Thai and 2 Thai iced teas. With tax, should have been about $38, but she charged me $48. In the moment, I thought it was oddly high, but trusted her anyway. Didn't really think about it until the day after, and did the math. So I got scammed and won't ever return. Pity because I would have continued to spend $40 when the Thai craving hit, hope that $10 was worth it!
This place was my go-to place for Pad Thai any time I was in the mood for Thai food about 3 years ago and before. I've seen a huge decline in the portions, flavoring, and consistency of spicy levels several times within the last 2-3 years unfortunately. This isn't the only option in Marysville, but even so it's a little better than other options. If you're willing to make the trip, just head into Arlington off Olympic and order at that place. It's pretty darn tasty!
They don't honor their posted hours. Wouldn't seat us at 7:00 because they decided to close early that night desire their sign saying 8:30.
I've been coming here for years... but this last visit I ordered Pad See Ew, and everything was overcooked (mooshy noodles, mooshy old past-ripe broccoli, dry chicken), and had no flavor except for the cheap chili flakes from the Asian market they dumped on top after slopping it in a container for me... Somehow everything was covered in what I would have assumed was at least soy sauce, but it somehow wasn't even salty(not to mention any other flavor). Super disappointed to have blown money on take out, I remember why I just cook at home now.
It tastes good but the pad Thai made me sick, less than an hour later. I was bummed
It was ok lunch, but wouldn't go back there are better Thai food places. The chicken was dry in Basil Chicken and hardly no basil.
Never ordering here again! Ordered takeout and they were 30 minutes late from their window, which is forgivable but when we came home they had missed one of our dishes (Chicken Pad Thai). When I called the restaurant they said they didn’t forget anything but would give me a “free” one if I came back.
After driving all the way back and picking up the order they missed, I come home to find some weird sauce on my Pad Thai which I’ve never seen. I’ve eaten Pad Thai hundreds of times and never seen it come out this color (see below) nor have this bbq-esq sauce on it which I can only believe was out of spite.
Do yourself a favor and find a different restaurant to give your business.
Good service good thai food👍
They scammed my mother who dined in and would refuse to give a receipt. I’m going to complain about there business because this is honestly so wrong. My mother tipped her and everything too, the lady bribed her with free food and lied about herself being the manager. She gave us her “managers” number and it was her person cell. We know this because my mother parked from a distance and called the “manager” while the same girl answered the phone. This is honestly so sad that they lied about all there prices. My mom complained to them for false advertising because the lady kept up charging, the lady told her she didn’t want her business shut down and was trying to guilt trip her .😐 DO NOT GO HERE. The “free pad Thai” wasn’t rlly free either since they overcharged my mom so much and lied about prices. I repeat please don’t waste your money or time here it’s just something you don’t want to deal with.
Eeeeh I've had better
The food was great (the chicken was a bit dry) and the service was okay. There was a waitress (i think) and a waiter. The waiter did an excellent job on serving and keeping the customer happy, but the female (I don't know if she is the owner) was sitting aside and chatting with the other customer at a different table. She sat down the whole time while I was eating and even after I was done. That is not okay, she should have kept it short.
Tonight was my second and last time going here. The first time I went was delicious, tonight was not even sort of close. I ordered three pad see ew, I asked for the thin rice noodles...to go. I get home and open them and there are the wide noodles, big pieces of chicken that were dry and to top everything off they totally forgot my two orders of rice. I called and they pretty much made excuses...they were busy. I had to wait for over a half hour while the waitress served three tables that were seated after I had ordered. Pitiful
Staff is always very friendly on the phone. I really love their green curry, pad see ew, and the sticky rice pudding.
Ordered fried rice to go. It taste bland and the rice is very very dry and too crunchy. Not really edible.
Excellent! Tasty! We don't live in the area but if we're nearby again we'd definitely stop by and eat here again.
I drive a little farther to go to this location. Food is pretty good and service is great.
they will charge you more than the prices reflect on their website and when you ask about it they give you the run around.
The food has good flavor and spiciness but the lunch portions are tiny for how much they are charging.
Got here at 7pm and it was empty.... I was a bit surprised as it was a weekend night and i had expected the place to be full.
I was promptly seated and given the menu so i can make my selections...
The first thing that strikes me was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. That alone earned them a 3 star....
I ordered the Tom Yum soup and the Pineapple fried rice...
Tom Yum soup tastes pretty good... The pineapple fried rice is excellent. Just the right amount of heat and crunchyness.
Compliments to chef Well done!!!
The food and service is great! Fun to watch the chefs working the huge round grill ! It is similar to a Benihana grill experience!
We have lived in the area for a long time and always said "we should try that place". It was a great experience, the food was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. Despite being busy with a late rush (we are a late dinner family) service was prompt and we were not rushed. We will be going back.
The portions were extremely small. The food was barely edible. We ordered 2 for spice and it was fire hot.
First visit here. The Tom Ka soup was delicious! The Garlic Chicken with vegetables was equally so. The chicken had a slightly charbroiled taste which I loved. Good portion sizes. Has a bar area.
Good food. I've been there several times an have always had good tasting food.
I have been coming here for 5 years and love everything about it! The servers are incredible, the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is welcoming. They helped me survive my latest pregnancy with their delicious entrees. The ladies always remember me and are the sweetest! I cannot recommend them enough!
Great eats.
Great food
Always incredibly fresh ingredients are used, you can taste it in the vegetables. Love the spicy pineapple pork fried rice and Thai Basil.
So most of the time this place is at minimum a 4* review but not this time. I got there before it was done. And was looking forward to nice hot Pad Thai. Yes the noodles are hot and the chicken is over cooked and dry and it looks like they shook all the pepper flakes on as an afterthought. I am hungry i worked hard and dont make a ton of money. Now i will be very reluctant to stop here anymore. ;(
Five stars to their red curry! Thick and flavorful!
One star to their keemao noodles because the carrots tasted moldy and the noodles all lumped together. Yes. I couldn't believe that the carrots actually tasted moldy!! It looked fine and pretty but moldiness was all I could taste. It spoiled the whole dish for me. Carrots are cheap stuff. If you are not sure how fresh it is, you should get new ones.
Good food and I like supporting a place close by considering the restrictions but their star rating for spiciness is basically meaningless. 4 star can be practically nothing to lava that takes me three meals to get through one entree.
Always delicious. Dine in or take out.
Our family goes here frequently. Food is great, staff is great. Highly recommended.
Awesome soup, friendly service
Online menu prices out of date. Ordered two lunch combinations that were supposed to be $8.99, got charged $10.99 for them. Called to ask about the discrepancy and they didn't care. The red curry was decent but the "pad thai" that came with it was a tiny sad pile of red noodles.
The lunch pad woon sen -- my favorite dish of thai glass noodles -- was an absurdly small portion of noodles with just a smidjen of vegetables and regular portion of odd-tasting tofu. Really disappointing experience.
This is my favourite Thai restaurant. I love Thai food, I love the heat and bold taste and Chan Thai will give you both with a dash of rich velvety flavour. I cycle through the curries asking for 7 out of 5 stars and they're perfect every time. I'm so thankful they stayed open during the pandemic, the staff is always really friendly and remember you. I like my food really hot, it's hard finding somewhere that believes you when you ask for 7 out of 5 and Chan Thai hit it first time. Highly recommend.
Had the Calamari, Crab Fried Rice and Crispy Garlic Chicken. Only drawback...the Calamari and Fried Rice needed a touch of Salt and/or Soy Sauce. Otherwise, pretty good, 🙂
I don't like to post negative reviews, but this warranted it. I had Pad Thai w/ tofu and chicken Rama delivered. The chicken was dry, and the peanut sauce was bland. The pad thai had a very odd taste which I couldn't really identify but it made the dish inedible. The large tofu chunks were fried and basically tasted like a deep fryer. I had to throw it all out and find something to get the taste out of my mouth.
It's so good and yummy there have a good shef.
After ordering take-out from Chan Thai we were surprised by flavors of the Pad See Ew and other noodle dishes. The Curry was good but not my favorite of Curry's. Everything tested fresh and vegetables were nice and crispy. Portions were average sized and good was ready quickly.
The walls were dirty and disgusting which makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. There was sauce smeared on the wall where we were sitting and big dust bunnies hanging down from the wall. We went in for lunch and were suppose to get the lunch price but got charged for the full dinner price. The only reason for 2 stars is the food wasn’t to bad otherwise it would have been 1 star.
The quality of their dishes and the customer service is always consistent! The best around!
Great food, friendly service. Their food brings the heat I'm no stranger to spice and I found myself sweating.
Great restaurant for lunch or dinner. They have good food for vegans and meat eaters.
This place is awesome. Quick service. The food was great. Friendly staff. My husband likes spicy so when he said 4 for spice level we we're pleased he actually got spicy. Most places don't deliver the spice he likes. The restaurant was very clean. Definitely will be back.
Service is too nice, I can’t handle it.
Thai food is always good!
Excellent green curry and Pad Thai.
Called at 945 for a takeout order and the website said they r open till 10. I am not so mean as to walk in at closing to get service. I was on my way to restaurant and tryin GB to place order for take out. Was greeted on the phone with this is chan thai we closed right now!! When I questioned it she said we take last call for food at 945. Well it was just that. They make it hard to want to give them business. Don't think we will be returning again. This has been the 3rd time. Over last couple years. Different reasons why open sign is on but refuse to serve.
This place is great! Authentic thai food and kind service
So good. Have been going here for years and have had a great experience most every time.
Great food and friendly service.
Very nice place!
The service was awesome!! Great place to eat and relax. Food was great also.
This Thai restaurant was fantastic,. The service was fast and friendly. The place itself was clean and the food was fantastic. Thank ypu for the great experience!
Excellent classic Bangkok Thai cuisine, good service. Highly recommended, one of the best in Snohomish County.
