Cozy restaurant making vegetarian versions of many classic Thai dishes, plus some seafood options.
We had a very nice lunch here. The food was super fresh - the spring salad rolls were the best we ever tasted - my wife loved them. Massalman curry was beautifully flavoured, and the the 'halloween curry' special was tasty. Lastly, service was simple but great - they made us simple beef noodles for our kids, portioned into three, but charged us only for one adult portion. It was great quality and value for money, in simple but clean and pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended.
I normally get the traditional dishes like Pad Thai or Pad Ki Mao at Thai restaurants, so I was interested to try the Crispy Garlic Prawns out
The batter on the prawns (shrimp) was pretty decent - although it wasn't really crispy like the name suggested, it was a little bit crunchy and
you could tell the sauce was definitely there. The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice.
On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked
I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat
and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice.
This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful
As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full
For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here
Overall, the taste of the individual items was good, but the experience could've been improved. 7.5/10
I went here for dinner last night and everything was amazing! I’m glad I ordered the Mango Salad with prawns and Crispy garlic chicken because they were really tasty!
The crispy garlic chicken was piping hot and crispy (just the way I like it)!
Service and staff were very quick and friendly and we were accommodated right away.
Highly recommend :)
Best vegan Thai in the Bellevue area! There are both vegan and normal options. The food was very fresh and really tasty.
We really loved their Eggplant stir-fried mix veggie ,Tom Kha veggie, Summer roll and Mango sticky rice as well.
All the food was full of flavor and makes you feel like you want to come back here again.
The restaurant has a very cute vibe as well and the staff have been friendly and nice to us.
Visit 1: A decent thai place near crossroads, bellevue. We tried the Green curry fried rice and Phad see mao. They were good. The one thing I did not like is that they did not have the thai hot sauce, which is the main ingredient in thai food. That was disappointing. But ya, it’s a good place to have some quick thai food. Their service is super fast.
Visit 2: Had a better experience this time in terms of food as well as service. We tried the cashew chicken, pineapple fried rice and coconut smoothie. Cashew chicken had a good combo of hotness and tanginess. Coconut smoothie might feel out of place at start but continue sipping it and you will develop the taste eventually. And thankfully they at least had chilli oil for some extra hotness.
This is my favorite restaurant so I might be biased when I say you cannot go wrong with any dish here. I eat here at least two times a week through dine in or take out. The staff is friendly and professional. The vibe is cozy and peaceful. The food is simply amazing. This place offers pretty much any dish on the menu vegetarian friendly and has the best tofu in town. I have never had a less than five star experience in my many years of coming here.
Sukhothai is a neighborhood staple that I hope stays around forever. Thank you, Sukhothai, for your continued dedication to amazing food with excellent service every time
Ordered a lunch bento and they got a simple order totally wrong. Instead of pad Thai, served Yaki soba! Food took forever to show up during lunch hour and finally when it did show up, was extremely salty! Quantity of bento box has also reduced overtime. Just didn’t feel right!
Taste is decent but position size is questionable
My favorite Thai place! Always great service and delicious food!
Love this place! Great food. Always well-prepared and delicious
All the Thai favorites with some interesting twists. Super fast food prep. Pad thai good but could have been spicier (asked for 3).
I used to LOVE this place - fresh veggies and the most delicious plant based meat. Unfortunately that has all changed. The food for my last 3 visits has been mediocre to terrible. The chicken tonight with eggplant was rubbery and inedible. The pad see ew was ok but not magical.

Weekday bento box style lunch combos are a jackpot! Regular menu items are great too! Great options for Vegans and kids! Service, food, ambience are all great!
Dinner was absolutely fantastic, amazing service, great atmosphere. I even accidentally left my jacket and the employee ran out, told me I forgot my jacket, and I insisted on coming back inside but the employee ran back inside and hand delivered my jacket to the car. Just phenomenal service and amazingly friendly staff.
Average food average ambience average restaurant
Service isn't the greatest but the food is delicious and healthy. I did ask for medium to high spice and couldn't taste any heat tho. Next time, I'll ask for hotter.
We had spring rolls and Thai Fried rice which seem to be tasteless and the the service was not that great. When asking to confirm about the ingredients the waitress was rude in the initial conversation itself!
Unfortunately, Our visit to this restaurant was a letdown. The service was painfully slow, and when the food finally arrived, it was a disaster. The flavors were off, the meat seemed far from fresh, and the overall quality made it hard to even take a few bites. Unfortunately, it left us feeling sick and regretting our choice to dine here.
Top 3 thai food places in greater Seattle area.
Avocado green curry is to die for

Great menu,
We went on a Sunday afternoon with friends that lived near the restaurant.
Every seat was filled!
Took a little while to get food but only because there was only one person serving , taking orders, cleaning, ...
We tipped her well.
Clean, affordable, good food.
After 4:00pm we were the only table left.
Lots of familys, again Sunday.
Overall great experience.
Not sure what happened but food wasn't as great last time. Maybe it was an off night. Curry had no flavor at all and very watery.
In a world of mediocre Thai food, Sukhothai was a breath of fresh air.
Ordered off door dash, food was delicious and well spiced. Looking forward to visiting in person!
the food is so damn good
Delicious vegan options
The food was great, fast service and plenty options for vegetarians and vegans. The portion size are average.

Great options for vegan and gluten free. They also provide lunch combination on weekdays which is very good.
I have never given any positive or negative feedback to any restaurant till now but this one's service forced me to do it. I visited it first time after checking google reviews to try out the Thai food as i have been already to other nearby places.
Ambience - Ambience was fine.
Food Quality - Food was below the average compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. The soup was served as cold.
Price - The food items were pricey but still they charged for a small cup of rice as they don't offer rice as side dish in curry items which i saw first time in any Thai restaurant.
Service - I was served the soup in a bowl which was broken at edges and cracked as well. Also, the staff was confused and was taking orders to every table to ask if they ordered it.
The biggest setback was integrity. As i was not happy with the food and the service, i did not leave much tip and to my surprise they billed be 15% extra on my credit card even when we were just 2 people and their rule for gratuity was applied to 4+ people.
For sure i am not going to return to this restaurant ever. It was my worst restaurant experience ever.
The food was really good. We had basil chicken fried rice, chicken noodle soup, tom kha soup, chicken satay. Everything was delicious.
Great options for vegetarians. Delicious food. On the flip side, the portions are a bit small for the price.
It has happened a few times that I have ordered tofu fresh rolls and they have sent me shrimp fresh rolls instead. Interesting the receipt itself says tofu on it so I know I ordered correctly and it doesn't make sense why they keep sending the shrimp ones. I am a life long vegetarian and fortunately noticed the shrimp in the rolls before eating, but this is not okay. The staff needs to be more careful in what they send via delivery and make sure the item matches what is on the receipt.
Liked the place. I was so bored of eating the same stuff at different Thai places. This place provides some new options which is really refreshing.
We loved all the items except the Thai samosa.
It was very greasy and very little stuffing, so it almost felt like eating friend dough instead of a samosa.
We will be back again.

Very good vegetarian options. They serve meat add-ons as well.
I hate to say it but the Pad Thai was pretty bad, zero flavor. And I try pad thai from different Thai restaurants on a regular basis, I didn’t even eat 1/4 of this it was that blah. this was not the normal pad Thai noodles used either. Tom Yum soup didn’t taste normal at all, it was missing that sour and spicy flavor altogether and was just salty, but I did LOVE the vegetables they use in it. Lastly, I will say the Thai iced tea was one of the BEST ones I’ve had. Service for me was fine no one was rude.
Vegetarian friendly, authentic food.
Good Thai food and good ingredients
Ordered food during lunch time and horrible experience. Host was not nice and disappointed in the customer service. She took it out on customers and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Folks have been warned.
I asked for a way to resolve this including a refund and they declined. Disappointed that they wouldn't resolve this.
Best vegan Thai in the Bellevue area! There are both vegan and normal options. The food was very fresh and really tasty.

Great lunch specials.
It was our first visit and won't be our last. The Thai Ice Teas were very good, Tom Kha excellent, Pad Thai maybe better than most, green curry was solid, and black sticky rice with coconut milk dessert was a wonderful last course.
Consistently great food and service! They do well with my food allergies. Best Thai place I’ve tried in the Crossroads area.
Definitely my new favorite Thai spot!
Nice little family owned place. Good Thai food. Great service!!
Food is amazing
Get the Brussel Sprouts!
Service is good. But Brussel sprouts were super over cooked, all portion sizes are very small. Only little veggies were added in the curry comparing to other Thai places. Don’t understand why the review is almost 5.
Food quality is consistently great. The restaurant is rather small, but atmosphere is intimate, almost bistro-like. There are a couple of interesting dishes on offer you may not find elsewhere. Spice level is reasonably accurate. One of the better Thai restaurants on the Redmond-Bellevue border.
Really good Thai place. It is more of a 4.5 star. The pad see ew was delicious. The chicken Satay was also really good. I felt chicken satay had a little stronger turmeric after taste. The Pad See ew was a little oily. But overall good food.
It is a small and cute place and they have maintained it really nice and clean. They do have a couple of seats outside.
Service was quick - they didn't make us wait too long.
Had the mango salad and the taro patties. Never fail to stop there when I am in the area.
Pad Thai doesn't seems like a Thai at all. Even fried rice is not good
Visit 1: A decent thai place near crossroads, bellevue. We tried the Green curry fried rice and Phad see mao. They were good. The one thing I did not like is that they did not have the thai hot sauce, which is the main ingredient in thai food. That was disappointing. But ya, it’s a good place to have some quick thai food. The lunch combo, $15, was just bad. The Phad Thai was flavorless and mushy, the crispy garlic chicken wasn't crispy and was overly salty. The wonton had crispy edges but mushy inside. Not recommended.
Love this place! Very reliable and quick service- plus the food is spectacular! I've had a thai food at a few places including Thailand, and this place is literally the best I have ever had. Except I've only actually tried all of their curry dishes😂they are so good I haven't really been able to bring myself to branch out to try other things they have lol. I love the green curry and panang! :) Plus the restaurant itself is super cute
Nice food, smaller portions, owner/ staff not nice and somewhat rude and impatient. He expects incoming customers talk to him immediately after entering the door. Also rather impolite while talking orders.
Interior is nice
Food is tasty.
Don’t go here after 8 pm. They are very unfriendly after 8 pm and try to hurry you in eating and forcefully ask you yo box up even before 9 pm
Very rude staff..
Best Thai in Bellevue, WA ❤️
Our table of 6 had our food come out one plate at a time over 20m. Food was pretty good.
Regular customers who have typically had a good experience, but had unacceptably bad service this evening due to a “change in policy”. We will not be returning.
Good food, fried rice with tofu and basil is my favored.
Love their fresh rolls and pineapple fried rice. Just perfect!
We came for a late lunch and got brussel sprouts, red and yellow curry, and coconut ice cream. The yellow curry was delicious!!!!! Best yellow curry I have had in a long time. The brussel sprouts were well cooked and seasoned. Everything was very tasty and the coconut ice cream was a pleasant light dessert after a spicy entree. Will definitely go back. My only complaint is that the floors were sticky but otherwise the atmosphere was really nice and clean.
The Kom Tha and pad see ew is absolutely delicious!!! Staff is super friendly, establishment is clean, prices are great value! 5/5
One of THE BEST Thai iced teas in the area!
Wow, I can't believe I didn't know this place was here, even though I live right nearby. The food was cheap and outstandingly good. I had the chicken pad thai. It was only $15, and there was enough for lunch the next day. The presentation was beautiful on every plate on the table, as well. Our service was excellent, the waitress was SO nice. I forgot my to-go container with the rest of my noodles on the table, and she even ran out to give it me. Just above and beyond excellent in all regards. The only complaint I have is that the building isn't well designed and it's small, so many of the tables in the dining room are close to the door and it was quite cold outside. I had to eat with my jacket on, which obviously I would prefer not to do, but I don't think there's much they can do about it. It didn't sully the experience for me in the slightest.
Phad Thai was pretty bad (a Thai restaurant that cannot execute Phad Thai is a fail). Chicken Satte was similar. Peanut Sauce had no sesame flavor. Wont shop here again.
Food is very tasty, not overly oily. Will be back.
Yen ta fo, khaw pad pu, pad see eew, tofu tod = yum! Friendly service!
Nice atmosphere. We had three different entrees and they were all good.
The pomelo crispy rice salad is like nothing you can get anywhere else.
One of our favorite places to eat. The owner 'O' is a very kind man.
Food is great ... Nice staff. Felt very authentic .
I ordered their specialty soup "Sukho Thai Noodle soup" and it was delicious. The broth was amazing and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The flavors reminded of my mom's home cooking. I also ordered the Crab fried rice. The portion was enough to share for at least 3 people evenly. The lovely waiter also told me that all the sauces are homemade and vegetarian.
I would highly recommend coming here. Also, I just learned that the restaurant is owned by a small family business.
Is authentic and good food. The service is attentive.
this place overcharge and rip off, never go back there:(
Good
Love this place. We keep coming back for more year over year.
Finally got to give this place a try, and the interior + atmosphere were a pleasant surprise. It’s nicer than the exterior might lead you to believe, potentially even a good date spot. Food was above par, but I’ll have to try the rest of the menu and make up my mind. Definitely coming back.
Food quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Staff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Delicious pad thai, panang curry and floating lotus! Will definitely be back. They also have vegan desserts!
it was great
Food is great, has some really cool items on the menu
Decent Thai restaurant next to a high school. It is a mom and pop shop with very personal service.
Good food. Friendly staff.
I have ordered from this restaurant prob 8 times with no issue. However, today when I ordered, I bit something hard in my rice and it was a piece of metal!!! (see photo).
I wasn’t going to leave a review but it looks like someone below had the same issue as well. This is incredibly unsafe and I would NOT recommend ordering food here!
The food was good and the service was fast.
It's good, but some people are not customer friendly
I normally love Suko Thai, which is why they have 2 stars and not 1, Last week on Tuesday I got takeout, and everything tasted fine. But when I got closer to the bottom of the container, I bit into something sharp and hard. It was a piece of curly wire, most likely from steel wool. I'm hesitant to go again because no matter how much I love the food, I don't want to be eating wire when I really wanted noodles.
Fresh, tasty and discreetly located in Bellevue. This Thai restaurant has a lovely atmosphere for business and personal dining.
So Friday night calls for a great dinner and found this place with good review. Wanted to try it from long, but never really got time.
Ambience- looks like house converted to a restaurant. Host was welcoming. Place is not too crowded. Minimal seating arrangements. We went for a dine in.
Ordered fried taro, roti and yellow curry for starters. Stir fry- garlic pepper tofu. Thai fried rice vegetable and pineapple fried rice.
Taste was so good and delicious.
Taro fry was average. Yellow curry had a great flavor. Thai fried rice and pineapple rice was good. Stir fry had lovely taste.
Next time will try their dessert too.
Ask for hot sauce if you like spicy.
We came for its 4.4 stars but a little disappointed in the food here and don’t deserve the rate. The taste is not that bad but not as good as other 4.4-star thai places, I would say average.
The panang curry has strong coconut milk favor and tastes fine in this way, but the pumpkin is not soft enough and chicken breast was cut to large pieces, which is a little weird and rough.
My bf ordered the phad kee mao and he has good word for it, but the chicken breast pieces were too large as well.
The sticky rice pudding tastes good, we are surprised it’s hot dessert rather than cold.
Though the overall taste is not good, the service is good and stuff are nice.
I was there for 5 minutes picking up to go, the man at the front desk person today was the most rude person ever. I lost my appetite because of his energy.
Ordered a 4 star chicken Pad Thai, there was zero spice or spices. Good portion size, but there was no flavor.
So sad that I have to say as much as my family and I love the flavors here at Sukho the price is just too much for what is provided. Two curries, 3 orders of plain jasmine rice and a chicken fried rice for $65. Neither curry filled the container that is much smaller than containers from other thai restaurants as you can see in the pictures. I ordered online, I choose to pick up and checked the box for no cutlery and still get charged a convince fee.
Great Restaurant! This place is worth coming to eat, they have a very good customer service and the food has a delicious taste, on the two occasions that we have come to eat lunch in two weeks they have given us a very good customer service and the food is fantastic, highly recommended, this place really gives you the feeling that it is a family restaurant 👍🏼👍🏼 oh! The deserts are just delicious!!!
Good food and quick takeout service. Traditional Thai food with many menu options. Staff is also helpful and friendly.
Bad ambience, average food not worth the prices
Great restaurant! Would love to visit again.
An average Thai place compared to surrounding cities, maybe it's one of the better ones in Bellevue but comparing to Washington as a whole, it wasn't anything special. This doesn't mean it was bad at all, food was tasty and service was solid, but there was nothing surprising to put Sukho Thai higher.
Prices reflect no meat (comes with tofu) and you can substitute tofu with chicken or pork for an extra dollar, or other meats for more. Price is already higher than others at $15 without meat included, but it is the Bellevue area to be fair. Portion wasn't noticeably larger than other places such as in Seattle, the U-District, etc while being $4 more with chicken.
Pad thai and pad see-ew were standard, but I appreciate that they aren't drenched in sauce. No lime is provided though, so you can't squeeze to taste depending on your preferences and that was one con. The plates aren't the best for mixing your food (they're long and horizontal so food can fall on the short end). I'm more used to standard, circular plates which allow me to mix everything very well. This eater experience isn't the best but it's by no means terrible, you can still mix but you'll just require more effort if you want to avoid dropping food on the table.
Unfortunately they sold out of the summer rolls on our visit but we were also astonished that these so called appetizers cost just about the same as an entree (roughly $12 appetizer, $14 entree).
Service was solid and attentive. Water was refilled, other customers were served, takeout orders were helped. Interior is definitely clean, saw the sole staff working cleaning up not just the table but taking care of the floor. For the service, I'm inclined to bump up a rating but it didn't impact us enough to be a factor.
Best Thai food I have ever had!!!!!
If you're looking for Gluten Free Thai. This is it.
Good food. My friend called in an order and i went to pickup. Got there and picked up my food, went back to my car. Realized my friend had not prepaid and sukothai people never asked me to pay when I picked up. So I went back in and paid.
Giving four stars because their attention to detail could be better.
I don't believe in taking things I didn't pay for, so I did the right thing. But the folks working the register need to be more careful.
This is one of my worst experience with Thai restaurant, the food was super pricey for the quantity and taste was okay. They charged 18% as gratitude for 2 adults and 2 kids as default. And the reason given by the management is that we arrived after 8 pm.
Good food at decent rate…decent variety and great service 👍👏
Great service and an awesome buffet! The buffet doesn't have everything, but it has all you need. Two soups, one curry, phad Thai, two vegetable stir frys, one dessert, peanut sauce, two salads, and fresh oranges.
Always delicious; great lunch combo at a good price. I need to remember to come here more often.!
Got the red curry, pad see ew, and papaya salad. The portions are kind of small for the prices, but they tasted good! The curry didn't come with any rice, though. I'm not sure if they just don't give rice with the curry (is it extra?) or they forgot to give us rice. Either way, would have been nice to have some rice with curry...
Very good! The food our group of eight ordered was prepared and served quickly and the orders were accurate. The food was delicious. The cost was in line with expectations.
I can't agree with the ratings system on Google, so let me explain the three star rating. From me three stars indicates my expectations were completely met. That is what any business should be able to do, and is what I consider a solid average rating. When I'm disappointed, stars are lost, and when I am pleasantly surprised a star or two may be added.
Delicious food - lots of options for vegetarians!
Enjoyed the food very much. Fairly small place. Seating for 20 perhaps. Service was friendly and fast. Food was hot. Would definitely recommend.
Fried rice was too oily. It was soaking with oil.
The floor is clean.
Very Disappointed. For The $$ I Paid And Not To Mention The Spice Level I Asked For Didn't Come Close...
