We proudly...
serve traditional Thai street food. Fresh, authentic, and delicious cuisine with bold flavors. Gor Gai Thai.
I recently tried the chicken Pad Thai and crispy pork belly from Gor Gai Thai Street Food, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The Pad Thai was bland, lacking flavor and spice, and honestly, it looked unappealing when I opened the container. The crispy pork belly was even worse—it seemed old and hard all over, as if it had been sitting around for days. I couldn't even finish my meal and ended up throwing it away. Given the 4.5-star rating, I was expecting much better quality. Sadly, I will not be returning to Gor Gai Thai Street Food.
I had the Pad Gor Gai for lunch here, which is a combo of their signature curry stir fried with flat noodles, Chinese broccoli, onions, and your choice of protein! I got the medium spicy level and it was perfect for me. For those looking for a bit more heat, you can ask for that, and there is a spice counter right where you order where you can load up on even more condiments.
The noodles were delicious and perfectly cooked. My only regret is not buying a second entree to have at home for dinner later on!
A good Thai place in Auburn! Attempted to try this a few years ago but it didn't work out. Finally got to try it and I wasn't disappointed. It's hard to find good food options in Auburn, but this is a good one! During summer they had mango sticky rice which was nice! It's a small mom and pop place but they get orders out quick while maintaining good flavor. I'd recommend if looking for good Thai food in Auburn.
This place used to be really good but it’s been a while. Stopped going here because quality is not good. Nothing tastes like authentic Thai. Ordered a fried rice dish that literally tasted like Rice a Roni. Found better spots in the area. Won’t be back.
Some of the best Red Curry I’ve ever had, highly recommend. They also list Gluten Free on their menu which isn’t very common at a lot of Thai places. I have a severe gluten allergy, it feels really great knowing they are aware of these dietary restrictions! Can’t recommend enough.
I've never had a meal here that was less than excellent. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food always fresh. Small dining area, but we'll worth any wait if there is one.
We just visited this place again, and came to write a review, and saw that I already did one with 5 stars. Well, they keep deserving it. This place is just awesome.
Just had their Guay Tiew Rua, which I guess is close to a vietnamese Pho. Really, really excellent! Man, they have a life long customer here!
Edit: Sad, another one off the list. During Covid this place switched to takeout only. When dining inside returned, the staff was new, including wait staff and cooks. They are still serving food in takeout containers, even inside. The food is not even a shadow of what it once was. I will not go back.
Delicious food! Fast, reasonably priced. Authentic and great service. Do yourself a favor and check them out!
I like the food there I've eaten there before this last time it was okay
This place used to be really good but it’s been a while. Stopped going here because quality is not good. Nothing tastes like authentic Thai. Ordered a fried rice dish that literally tasted like Rice a Roni. Found better spots in the area. Won’t be back.
Most of the menu is great, but green curry without eggplant (when the menu says eggplant) is a deal breaker. It was all broccoli stems. I also wish there was less plastic; even for dine in they serve the dishes in plastic. We've been here several times but I'm a bit disappointed after this visit.
EDIT:
They always mess up orders, either wrong dish or wrong meat (I'm tired of paying $3.50 extra for shrimp, and end up receiving chicken instead)
Orders often taken longer than expected so still end up waiting around. They haven't done the "text messages to notify when ready" for quite some time now. Place has really gone downhill, avoid them.
-----
After about a dozen visits now, they are consistently great. Every time. Price is just right, food is AMAZING. Always friendly, and when picking up to-go order it's always ready when expected (even have automated text messages to confirm received order and to notify it's ready)
This is the real deal. Yummy food
Some of the best Red Curry I’ve ever had, highly recommend. They also list Gluten Free on their menu which isn’t very common at a lot of Thai places. I have a severe gluten allergy, it feels really great knowing they are aware of these dietary restrictions! Can’t recommend enough.
The Best Thai place in the area, life ling resident who eats out alot.
This place used to be good under old management. would not hear ever again.
As other reviews have mentioned the food has declined significantly over the years. The last time it was very good was In 2021. It was undoubtedly one of the best thai restaurants in the greater seattle area during this time.
I tried gor gai a few times afterwards in 2022/2023 and it just doesn’t taste the same. New ownership?
The noodles in the pad sew ew & pad kee Mao used to be nice and thick, kept their uniform shape, held onto the sauce, and had a nice char. Not it’s soggy noodles that fall apart, with no char and flavor is gone.
First photo is from 2022, sad noodles. Second photo pre-2022 picture taken in 2021 when the pad sew ew was TOP TIER.
This was a bit of a one off pick while in town for a tournament. We are really glad that we found this spot. Very pleasant, nice owners, happy mouths, full bellies, and wallet was not crying.
Do yourself a favour if in the area. Stop by this one. We will go back next time we pass through.
Gor Gai is a great and authentic Thai restaurant. I like them because they off a lot of gluten-free options. Their Thai tea is outstanding as well!
It's mid thai food, you can tell they cost cut

They take you seriously when you ask for it spicy! I can’t wait to come back, pretty good pad Thai, but next time I’d like to try another dish 🍜🍜🍜
Absolutely amazing food! Went here on a recommendation and I will be passing it along

Awful food. Had food poison!
I went in the early afternoon so there were plenty of tables and no wait. The food arrived quickly and was amazing! I had the Panag curry with chicken and crispy pork belly. The pork belly was perfect balance of crispy, chewy and melty. Would come back again just for the pork belly.
We have been customers here for a long time. We recently had a mistake made and were double charged (it was a mix up with one of us ordering and the other picking it up). The folks at Gor Gai apologized profusely and made it right. I was impressed by the way they handled it, they could have easily said it was not their problem and refused to help us. We will remain loyal customers.
I was too hungry to take pictures, but I’ve ordered the tumkha , Panang curry , fried rice and fried noodles, and it was so good, the flavor tastes authentic and so aromatic. The appearance of the restaurant does not give a lot of expectation, but the food itself it’s amazing, best Thai food I have tried so far in my time in the U.S. It’s a hidden gem !
All food is good

Inedible pad Thai and Tom kha w chicken. Waste of $14.50 and $13. Pad Thai noodles were al dente, overly wet, and mixed with bits of foul-tasting egg. Soup also had off/bad flavors. Won’t be back, even though this is the best Asian cuisine in Auburn 2017-2023 according to awards on the wall.
We sat outside on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and it was wonderful! Their prices are quite friendly, which is rare for Thai. Our food came in to go containers instead of plates so maybe that's why?
Chicken pad thai, Masaman curry, pad kee mow, and pad see ew were AMAZING! Tofu is a great option here because they give it such a fragrant smoky char 🔥
I had their Phad Thai couple of years ago and my husband used to love their beef salad
We decided to stop and eat Thai food
Phad Thai was so salty I couldn’t eat more than couple of bites. I asked another customer if theirs was salty. They said yes
It was also too liquidy far from their previous pad Thai … The beef salad came in the form of ground beef and huge piece of cabbage.
It was a waste of $38
Every dish I've tried has been excellent, with good portions. I love the chili sauce bar also. Easy place to get to.
Small shop and i love their food. I'm a regular customer now :)
Delicious food and friendly environment every time. Love everything I’ve tried!! Thank you
This place was good a year ago (July 2023). It was packed during lunch time and long lines.
I recently went back at 12pm and the place was empty. This should have been a sign. The food is now mediocre at best.
The Pad Thai Woon Sen had very little ingredients, other than noodles, crushed peanuts, chicken bits and bean sprouts. No other vegetables.
The Green Curry did not have any eggplant even though it was described in the menu. When asked about it, they said customers were not eating eggplant and so they just stopped putting it in. I felt a little mislead by this.
Won't be going back there again.
Was really craving some Thai food and ran into this small restaurant. The food was ok but the place really needs some cleaning and updating. To many flies the day I was there but the place needs some major cleaning.
We didn't get half our order and still after I asked for the rest I just got the rice. The food was garbage!
Pretty disappointing. The pad thai was overly sweet, slimy, and way too wet. It was swimming in the sauce. The portion of chicken was probably around 2oz, so that was pretty disappointing as well.
Medium spicy won't be very. For was pretty good but needed zing!
This used to be my favorite place to go but over the years the quality and service has deteriorated. Spent an hour waiting for an order placed online, not worth your time anymore.
Placed an online order online 30 minutes before showing up and had to wait another 30 minutes in their lobby just to get my food, meanwhile everyone who placed an order in person was getting their food before us.
This used to be a good place for phad thai but the quality went down significantly. I ordered 2 phad thais and the noodles were so dry and the chicken smelled bad and tasted bad. As soon as I open my plate it smell like strong oily chicken .The chicken tasted like it wasn’t seasoned at all just plain chicken with a bad texture. I ended un taking one bite and trowing the food away I won’t be back again I don’t trust this restaurant to make me food .
Fast, attentive service and delicious food.
Good Food, I just wish they would understand English a bit better. Had a challenging time explaining my order other than that great experience.
Great Thai food! Their mango sticky rice is bomb!
We get our usual order here, and the food is good and the service is fast. They’re usually busy so if you call in a to go order there may be a wait.
Indoor seating but they had the door and windows open. It was fine during the summer.
The chicken skewers is good but 3 times now tom kha is terrible-bland chicken in warm coconut-zero hot and sour flavor and I ordered medium spice and this was zero spice. Seems if you’re tan then you get decent spice level. My company is brown and asked for 2 star and got 5 star-on more than one occasion. Pad see ew is okay and green beans and beef dish with brown rice is good but this place has gone downhill since opening.
Horrible service omg. I ordered food on grubhub and the restaurant called me saying I can’t have my food. I told them I ordered through grubhub. Then proceeded to hang up on me . I called again and again . Same thing just hangs up without a reason besides can’t pick up food when grubhub is literally picking it up… make it make sense. Food is good from what I’ve tasted in the past but service is horrible now 12/16/2023. I ended up canceling the order and plan to go elsewhere even if this spot was in my city. Worst I have ever seen as far as service goes
Unfortunately the quality and consistency at Gor Gai has lowered significantly. I've eaten here probably 100 times. They don't seem to want to wash dishes, which I understand, but makes it feel like you are just in a take out spot. So I order on doordash instead because why bother going there, only to have consistently dry pad thai. They also stopped making dishes spicy which probably is due to people ordering it and complaining, but you shouldn't cave to those weak people who can't handle a bit of spice.
Finally my order today settled the decision to not eat here anymore as it was not only a lump of noodles with zero sauce, but I actually found a fly in my food. It's the middle of December, a restaurant should have no problem controlling flies. These are $15 dishes and not worth $7. The meat is also just low quality and not good in general.
We had several great years Gor Gai, thank you and good luck.
Original review:
So i have been to over 60 Thai restaurants in Washington, Oregon, California, and Utah. This is simply the best one I've ever been to, hands down. There have been a few others of similar quality, but this one is better. Go here, you won't regret it!!
Great tasting beef pad Thai!!
very delicious brown rice!!
Sweet associates. Even when they were closed, told us we could finish eating inside. Also, their food is on point.
When Gor Gai first opened the food was excellent. It has been going downhill for quite a while. But I stopped in out of convenience and it was excellent again. New management? New cooks? I'm not sure. Maybe it was a fluke. I strongly recommend the mama phad.
The food is always excellent!
This restaurant serves very good Thai Food, also the restaurant has a great outdoor seating area.
This restaurant serves very good!!!
First time here and I have to say it’s delightful and delicious. Came on a whim because the buddies wanted some Thai food and settled.
Nice food selection and the establishment is nice and cozy. Food and Service is top notch. The crispy pork belly is awesome and the Thai red curry spot on.
If you ever in the area and feeling a little hungry, give these guys a shot I promise you that you will not regret it …
This is one of the best Thai places I’ve ever eaten and certainly one of the best near Seattle! I was so happy to hit traffic and find them after they opened, and 10+ visits later they’re still the best. I live over 2 hours away and this is a pit stop I looked forward to. I usually go for phad kee mao or phad gor gai, but the hot and sour soup is great too.
Pad Thai's $15 with no rice. Definitely gone downhill since the pandemic, serves food in small microwave dinner trays. portions about half the size of what they used to be.
Phad Thai chicken. Pretty basic. Flavor was good, but the quality of the chicken used is not great.
Poor quality food lazily prepared. fried pork was bone dry as if was leftover from a few days ago and refried. The vegetables in the soup were left large enough you'd need a knife to chop them yourself, and staff were not friendly, not worth your time
Honestly this place has the best curry I’ve eaten.
Food here used to be good. Idk what happened not edible.
Food was OK but doesn't match the menu photos and was on the smaller size. Restaurant is to-go oriented and wasn't a good dine in experience as no water was offered and you're not served at the table. Inside of the restaurant was pretty warm.
I don’t know if there’s a new cook but I was very disappointed in my pad Thai today which tasted completely different from the times I’ve had before from this same restaurant. It was very sweet & way too much sauce to the point where it looks wet and gooey. Tasted like a dessert & was way sweeter than my Thai iced coffee & my roti. I’m not a person to write bad reviews but boy was I really disappointed because it was my favorite Thai restaurant in auburn
This was one of the most disturbing experiences I have had. I showed up ordered at the counter. 100 degrees in the restaurant. Poor girl at front was dying. Everyone must have had heat exhaustion as they messed up at least 7 orders that I saw. I was there for 47 minutes waiting for my beef parang and chicken Phad Thai. Was asked what I ordered 3 times still when I got my meal they handed it to me I should have looked, but could they honestly screw it up, yes they did… I got tofu rice curry and tofu with noodles. Not good either. The place is a shambles a/c on wall not running and 2 large fans, not running. Too cheap to pay electric or something. Maybe overloading circuits but I kind of think not. Anyway be cautious when you visit as it may be not as good as you expect. I have eaten here several times as of a year ago or so but now way different.
Good luck…
The best in Auburn for Thai food. A bit busy on luch time
The taste is not like how it used to be, it used to be so much better
Most of their menu is amazing. I’ve had the pad kra prao, mango w/ sticky rice, laad nah, and pad kee mao. All are superb with the exception of thei Kee Mao. It’s lacking something that I can’t put my finger on (sweet soy sauce? Fish sauce?). Overall I will absolutely be coming back.
It's always nice to come here great service and the food is good
Came here in the past and had some wonderful Thai food. Unfortunately with my visit this week, I can no longer say the quality is the same. I agree with other comments in a decline in quality… disappointing.
Came for a lunch and sat outside. The service is more plastic ware and takeout containers.
Hard to see from the road (the GPS lady seemed confused) but well worth finding. So authentic! And the Thai tea is yum! Highly recommended you want the real thing! (My creds? I am married to a Thai, living in Thailand for 35 years. )
Brown rice was mushy, Pad Thia had zero flavor. One of the worst tasting in King County.
Wait, time was twice as long as they predicted.
Eat here often but last time food wasn't very flavorful??? The spicy orders were good , but mild and med were bland.
The place is super small.... but chicken pad Thai is phenomenal honestly. Order a side of white rice to mix in... you'll thank me later 😉
What I had was very good. I just wish there were more dishes that could be made vegan.
Horrible service. We went to go eat to the restaurant thinking it would be a good lunch option, WRONG! When we walked in the server had a rude attitude. They served us wrong food at first and it took quite a while to get the food.
Food it’s self. The spring rolls were the only “good” thing that we had here, the curry had the worst chicken i think i have ever had and it had horrible taste. The pad thai was the worst thing that we got, the noodles smelled like paint thinner and they were soggy, we got our pad thai with shrimp and the shrimp was undercooked, disgusting, and had a HORRIBLE fishy taste to them; almost as if they were previously frozen.
When we got our food we had no sort of silverware or any plates or bowls. we asked them if we could have silverware and plates and she told us “i have paper plates” so she brought out plastic silverware and paper bowls to eat out of, never have i had to ask for silverware and plates and get served paper bowls and plastic utensils.
I have been to this restaurant multiple times years ago and the food was fresh and great, now it’s just degraded, disgusting, and just overall HORRIBLE!
We got a refund for the pad thai only and getting a refund was a hassle too.
0/10 would never come again.
Food and service has gone down hill ever since they changed to focus more on takeout orders. They don't come to take your order at the table or even serve you water when you dine in anymore, you'll have to buy the Costco water bottle from the fridge and they serve the dishes in plastic takeout containers and utensils.
This restaurant serves very good Thai Food, also the restaurant has a great outdoor seating area. I ordered the Pad Gor Gai (restaurant special Pad Thai), the dish was amazing. This dish was gluten free, for those that have gluten allergies. The staff were very courteous and friendly, I will definitely return.
Amazing staff
Best Thai food in Auburn. I love their chicken pad Thai.
Best Thai food I've ever had, frankly the best restaurant of any food in Auburn. Portions are perfect. Everything feels really light and refreshing while still tasting like comfort food. I'm really impressed by this restaurant. The only real dig is sometimes people I bring here that don't like spice don't seem to like it here. That said, if you can handle a tiny amount of spice this place is amazing and affordable fusion food with really inviting staff.
Was pretty excited about trying this place as I love Thai food and I’m always on the hunt for the next best place. When we got there we were given menus and were told to order at the counter when we were ready. We did just that as sat down to wait for our food, it arrived in to go container and from there on out it was pretty much self service . No one came over to check up on us or anything. Now the food - both me and my sister felt as it was missing something . My beef was very thought and she couldn’t eat her chicken . Prices were pretty standard for the area. The flavors were just not there. Pretty disappointing meal to be honest. Don’t think we will be back .
The worst thai i’ve had,got chicken pad thai and chicken basil fried rice, both very bland, not much flavor, the chicken is weird dark meat with skin and fat on it,tasted weird and old,the rice was overcooked and mushy, and the pad thai smelled like vinegar and had a sour taste to it, the service wasn’t the best, you had to pay for bottled water too, even tipped $5 and no one came to ask how the food tasted,we were the only ones there so its not like they didn’t have the time, also when we left there was no “thank you for coming” yupp never going back….
I am so sad to write this review. I have been going here for close to 5 years and the last few time I've ordered... it hasn't been good. I was hopeful that my first bad experience was just an off day but it has become apparent that it's just how it is now. I have always gotten the pad see ew and it is normally absolutely phenomenal; but recently it has been over cooked to the point that I can't pick up the noodles, extremely bland (all I can taste is the pan it was cooked in), and the beef in inedible.
After all these years I don't think I will be returning anymore
It's gone down hill. Most likely will not go back. It is totally a fast food take out. Should just get a food truck
We enjoyed the food the last 2 times we ate here. This last experience was not the greatest. It's disorganized and chaotic. Our take out order was not ready. We waited 30 mins for it even though we ordered it in advance by calling 40 mins before. When we got home our order was wrong. We ordered noodles and got fried rice that was missing a few ingredients. We specifically asked for brown rice for our green curry... and actually got no rice at all... so after waiting for more than 1hr and 20 minutes we came home to a completely unsatisfying order of food we didn't order and paid $35 for it.
Plenty of food for your money, dishes absolutely delicious! Will make a special trip to go back.
I have eaten here many times and tried something different each time. The food and Thai tea are always great.
Great food most of the time the building needs alot of love and the front door doesn't even close it was freezing in there not a great plavlce to dine in.
Great food, and very popular lunch spot.
Only 4 indoor tables, but nice weather is coming!
awesome takeout spot, best pad thai i’ve had in a minute. panang curry and crispy pork belly were definitely way above your average thai spot. complaint/green flag: order took forever and lots of people waiting for food, this place is clearly popular, be patient they look understaffed
Best shrimp fried rice.
Gluten free pad Thai? No way! It was delicious and tasted fresh.
They have GF options on the menu which is great because the sauces on pad Thai typically are not gluten free even though the noodles typically are.
Service staff was informative and approachable.
Their seating is small side, basic but enough.
The food is amazing. The building is a cute shack style place that reminds me of some of the small restaurants in Hawaii. The dine in experience is sparse: to-go containers and plastic cutlery with bottled beverages. As of Feb 2023 no alcohol
Small street thai place that does thai food really well. Reasonably priced good food in your choice of mild medium or "oh my!!!". Best in Auburn several years running. Available for dine in, take away or deliver by all the usuals.
This was honestly the worst Thai we had ever had. The service itself was good and the food came out quickly but the taste was absolutely terrible. My fiancé actually had to send his food back it was so bad, it was the pad see ew and when I complained that the noodles had a weird sour flavor we were told that is just how the taste. Very odd and ridiculously expensive, $70 for 2 adults + 2 kids. Save yourself some money & go somewhere else!
Delicious! Really tasty thai food. Medium spiciness was just perfect, enough heat to get my nose running. it's a nice, cozy little restaurant too, very pleasant on a rainy day.
Terrible food. Noodle and meat tasted old and dry like powered food. Ordered food through Uber eats. Never again
There's only two thai places I go back to and this is one. Very good
The best Thai place ever! Great GF options and reliable, fast service.
Today I ordered Pad See Ew with beef and tofu. The food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. I Almost never write a reviews but today this restaurant deserves a positive review. I hope they keep it up with that high quality of food. I highly recommended.
First time coming here it was excellent prices were affordable and the food was great.
Every time I come here, they do not disappoint. Hot food, served to the right spice level every time. Beautiful presentation, and delicious.
Hats off to Gor Gai, the food and the service was great! If you want some really good authentic Thai street food its right here in Auburn!
Came in with a friend on a cold rainy day for lunch. Drove right past this place as it looks like a house with bamboo plants out front. Went in to order and was greeted, looked over their menu and was impressed. Plenty of stuff to choose from here. Ended up ordering the Green curry & my friend ordered a noodle dish. They were both spectacular! We also had the Thai tea and it was very good! Highly recommend you check this place out if you like Thai food!
This is some of the best Thai food that you'll find out there. The food is fresh and tastes amazing!!! Best Thai food that I've had by far!!!!
Excellent Thai chili's in homemade marinade. Delicious to go hot peppers. Delicious food all around!
Great food and friendly staff
This restaurant used to taste very good, and I understand why it is so highly rated. However they have totally ditched the food quality. Instead of using rice noodles, they use a cheaper alternative now which tastes disgusting. The quality of spicy food and the proportions of meats and eggs are also terrible. Never return here now matter how good the food tasted before.
Their online hours says that they are open. I arrived to order food, no one there. Call no answer, apparently they lied or don't want business. Either way I wouldn't recommend.
It is typical Thai food. It runs like a food truck. Order at the counter.
Water is $1 a bottle, no tap. So bring your own drinks.
There are some planters with bamboo, between you and the street.
People watching is limited.
The food is spicy, so unless you like to cry while you eat order the mild.
Also if you don't want the plant flesh with your pad Thai let them know. Much better than having to pick it off and keeping away from raw vegetables greatly reduces your chances of food borne illness.
Parking.
Trying the beta for parking. So see how that looks.
Some sedan length parking in an ally way on the side of the building. RV and trailers will need to find another place to park.
Restroom.
Didn't use it but it looks like a one seater, gender neutral.
Food.
Typical Thai. The curry was hot, but they got the medium.
The beef Pad Thai was short on beef and okay.
The fries pork belly was crispy and like done in industrial plant baby oil.
If I was back I would be willing to try something else.
Photo descriptions.
I didn't take any.
Super great spot for some quick Thai food. Also a favorite of my mother’s, who is Celiac. She can’t often find food without gluten cross contamination but this place is very careful.
The stars are only for the gang dang curry, which was delicious. The pad thai and pad woo sen were adequate and lacked vegetables. I did not appreciate the servers remarks about us asking if we could just fill our water bottles for our drinks. He said "we wouldn't make any money if we let people bring their own food and drink". I simply stated we were trying to reduce use of plastic is all and it was just or water. But we ended up ordering the plastic bottles of water to make it less awkward. It was weird, not very pleased with the interaction while ordering. We probably won't go back there.
Horrible service!
Always delicious! Best Thai food around!
Amazing food and great prices. Highly recommend. Love this place!
Delicious Thai spot with a large menu variety including curries, noodles, appetizers and house specials. They have a very easy to use online ordering platform for to go orders!
Awesome little Thai food place. Fast service, excellent flavor. Be warned even medium is a bit spicy.
Food bland, Tom kha bland, crispy pork doesn't have flavor at all and came soggy, pasang curry too sweet, beef on pad thai tasted really old 🤮 the only thing that good was the black sticky rice dessert.
Great food, friendly staff. Definitely worth a stop in.
Went there to enjoy Thai food but the cashier was very rude to us even tho we asked politely whether they have payaya salad. I am disappointed with their customer. Never coming back again !!!!!!
The food is excellent and consistent. Always a pleasure to eat here.
This was some of the best Thai food that I have had in a long time. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The flavors were amazing.
1st this little place was hard to find. There isn't a big sign, it looks like a little house....so don't blink. Once you get in you place your order and they will bring it to you. The Chinese broccoli with pork was the bomb...crispy, good and full of garlic. The chicken satay was simple but the peanut sauce was a little different than what I am used to...it had a little spice and I liked that. The rice was good, had great flavor and who doesn't love a spring roll.
Our favorite place to order takeout in Auburn!
Some of the best Thai in town. Portion sizes are a little small, but great quality.
No flavor. We literally dumped the pho broth down the sink, it was so tasteless. There were almost NO veggies in the panang curry; I ended up dumping it in a saute pan and cooking up my own bell pepper and broccoli to add to it. The tofu in the panang curry was fresh and mushy instead of fried. Yuck. (Fresh tofu is our preference in tom kha, but that's a different eating experience.) We're still deciding if we want to try to eat the rest of the tom kha or not; it wasn't anything worth writing home about either. Never ordering from here again.
Amazing Thai food, best i have found in the area. The Roti are delicious, although i wish they would roll them before putting them in the foil (in stead of rolling it with the foil).
Love it
Had lunch today, pricing is fair. Service was fairly quick. Food was, as always, delicious!
Not as great as usual. Chicken in the pat thai seems old and tough!
I use to tell people to eat hear not anymore I also will never eat here again! I ordered pad Thai chicken mild ! And it came like thick sugar sauce all I could taste was sweet sugar it was honestly disgusting like noodles with syrup for 15 dollars barley any chicken . I picked threw it and trashed the rest . Man the cook needs to do better defiantly no chef .And they don't operate off stars like a good thai restaurant does. They make nothing to order everything is fake reheated in a pan.
First time here, nice little area in Downtown Auburn. I ordered to-go Pad See ew, when I was handed the order I noticed it was super light weight and already I knew that It was gonna be a small portioned meal. When I opened it I was right, I mean it was alright tasting, but for $15 and a tip it better be on the heavy side!! For the price it should be family size, what a rip off for basic thai food. Definitely a place for non Asians lol. It should've been priced around $8, I'll stick to viet food around the around.
Customer service was excellent. I called in my order I requested no onions in any of three items I ordered. Got home super hungry had not eaten all day 🙄 onion were in all three dishes I ordered. So did not eat my food it was late did not feel up to driving back for corrected dish so I ate the rice called it a night 😔. Ps they did offer to replace my order when ready. I will give a new review when able to enjoy my onion free dish. 🙂
I went back on 1/29/22 to redeem my order. Again customer service great very friendly. I received my order no onions 😃 it was delicious I had Pad Thai and Pad kee
mao.
They must make their income solely off of first time customers.Tiny portions, overpriced, and really awful bland satay.
My pad thai had 4 tiny chunks of dark chicken meat. The other pad thai was beef. Got 3 tiny slices smaller than my finger and was charged an extra $2 for it.
I wanted to try something new. My dish was so good. It's been a long time since i had something good around this area. The service was very quick as well. I'll definitely try this place again.
Kao pad is a go to 🤤🤤 yes it’s a little pricy but for authentic Thai food it’s worth it.. every penny.. it’s amazing that this restaurant is tucked away in auburn, very hole in the wall nothing beats it
Best Thai food in Auburn!
Really good food! I recommend 100%.
Had the Pad Ka prao (pork) and green curry (shrimp). Flavors were authentic, spice level was legit, a nice kick that didn’t drown out the flavors of the dish overall. Portions were fair, considering COVID and supply chain and labor issues. The brown rice is great quality and whole, including the husk! I’ve never seen this at an Asian restaurant. The cooked veggies still had vibrant colors/weren’t over cooked. Food wasn’t too fatty/oily. They prepared it quickly. They also have pickled Thai and jalapeño peppers which add a nice complexity to the spice. I ordered full spicy for my dishes.
Amazing! So happy to find such authentic food and awesome staff!!
Food was good, but the restaurant is mostly made for to go orders only
Always delicious!
