Thai restaurant
Easily the best Thai restaurant in the area. There are so many items on the menu that are not at other Thai restaurants. The flavor was spectacular and there was nothing that was bland. Unfortunately we did not have enough people to try more food, nor did we have a big enough stomach for dessert, but we’ll for sure be back for more!
I recently discovered a Thai restaurant near my home that serves good food, perfect for chilly and rainy days. The wall inside the restaurant is decorated with a big phrase that reads, "Don't eat less, just eat Thai food." I wholeheartedly agree with this statement, as I am a huge fan of Thai cuisine. Everything was great except for the Strawberry Cheesecake, which was overly sweet and lacked actual cheese, despite its name.
We’ve eaten at three other Thai restaurants within 3 mile radius, and this is by far the best Thai restaurant in the area. Delicious food! Excellent and fast service. We come here at least once a month. We love everything we tried from the menu, and our favorite orders are papaya salad, pad Thai, curries. Definitely order mango sticky rice with ice cream for dessert.
Came here to try their green curry, which I was disappointed by. I had asked for medium heat, and ended up getting no heat at all. My partner who was with me had the panang curry and asked for spicy level, and also had no heat. It was terribly bland, and the vegetables didn’t feel that soft. On the other hand, the server was nice in addressing my allergies, but as someone who loves to try Thai food, unfortunately this restaurant doesn’t feel like it celebrates authentic Thai flavors, as food in Thailand is supposed to have the tangy, salty feel and a kick to the food. This was just so bland that I felt like it was a soup rather than a curry. Will not be coming back.
Crispy catfish salad and stir-fried catfish with chilli paste are very delicious. I would like to recommend this authentic Thai restaurant that you must visit.
To go meal … it was so delicious!
It was good before as Thai Treasure but new owners are definitely pouring their heart into the cooking!
Never again ! Ordered takeaway First : the place smells as you walk in …
I ordered 1. So called seafood soup 2. Thai spicy duck curry .
Seafood soup ; should not be called seafood soup at all ( has 1 shrimp, 1 clam everything else was mushrooms & 1 cherry tomato that’s it ) . I called & let them know .
Then moved on to the duck yikes ! The most rubbery chewy ducks I’ve ever had with a very distinctive smell . It was 8pm tried to push myself to eat it but it was truly not edible at all :(( I called again & said I have to return it for them to see the texture !! , owner kept arguing & arguing . I drove back again 8:30pm spoke to the owner in all honesty . At that point it wasn’t about the money as much as it was I wanted them to see how terrible the texture was . The Audacity of the owner to say “ have you had duck before ? This is how it tastes . The soft duck is not a true quality duck ! I explained to her it’s the zillion times I’ve had it around Vienna, falls church and DC never have I tasted something like that - it should be very soft never chewy with that smell .! Her response wasn’t the greatest . She voided the charge citing “ because I was honest with her !!! It’s sad that for over $30 meal to get such quality . There’s a lot of competition out there . Quality is shameful . Plus. I’m inquired when did they open ? They said it’s the very same place that was there earlier just changed the name to MAMA THAI because license expired! The whole thing is just not right . Never again
Thai mom is a ripped off place..... Charged me $15 for a noodle soup the size is half of regular to go.....you think you cut off the potion of what it's supposed to be and still keep customers to come back? So greedy.... Never come back again.... And don't act up when people don't tip you when they only order to go, clean up your attitude appear on your face, it's too obvious....
This is a Thai Place to try and a place to keep coming back to.
I got the Chicken Satay and it was beyond wonderful. This was juicy chicken and all the flavors could be tasted. My problem with other places is that the chicken is either so dry or the chicken couldn’t be tasted. This was a phenomenal dish made by them and I was super satisfied.
I also got the fried chicken with garlic over rice and the portion was beyond suitable as a male in construction. Super reasonable and great.
I was stuffed and delighted with the meal without falling into a food coma. Highly recommended
The curry was super runny, no substance, very little meat
Drunken noodle NO smokeless, NO cravability. Why is the recipe so different everywhere. Asked fir a little less than medium heat, got no heat. $18.
Staff are exceptional and amazing. I lost my phone and they actually charged it for me while I went to go back and retrieved it. Honestly, some of the best service I’ve ever had in my life!!!
FREAKISHLY GOOD! I am a Thai food snob despite not being Thai. This place rapidly delivered fresh, hot, delicious Thai food (Tom Kha soup, garden rolls, drunken noodle, larb, and yes, chicken satay). If you are in Vienna or near Vienna -- it's fantastic. Good size portions, nice presentation, lots and lots of flavor and balance. Such a step up from other choices. I can't comment on atmosphere since it was a takeout. I plan to order again. Try it.

Great Thai food, will be back!
This is a nice little Thai restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. We've tried several dishes over the course of a couple visits and everything was tasty. The panang curry was quite delicious.
There are a lot of Thai places in the area, and they’re pretty good, but this is the best one by far. I think it’s a family place, the cook everything fresh and I also appreciate that they can accommodate some food allergies - they know exactly what I need to avoid. Their Mango Sticky Rice is perfection.
I not been in Thai restaurants in US offten due to test not the same as original Thai. This is the restaurant that test exactly ture Thai favor!! Recommend!!!! Love love love
Food was pretty good not amazing but what I’m most happy about is I asked for Thai Hot and it was actually spicy…most Thai restaurants tame the heat down but seems authentic here

Worst Pad Thai I ever had. Won't be going back.
We celebrated April birthdays at lunch, authentic Thai food every dishes we ordered were so delicious, great service. Definitely will be back👍👍👍
I’ve been coming here consistently for the past couple of months. Their menu has a great selection of standard Thai dishes and other dishes that you won’t be able to find anywhere else in NOVA. I’ve tried their curries and noodles and they were great but I love picking from their Street Food Menu. Every time I come here, I try one “normal dish” and two “new” dishes. All of them have been good and very authentic (at least to what I remember from my travels to Thailand).
Their seafood is always perfectly cooked. I recommend their calamari appetizer and Hoi Tod (Mussel Pancake). Both are crispy without the seafood being overcooked. The food also comes out quickly and tastes freshly cooked.
I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more reviews!! I would recommend Thai Mom for anyone who loves Thai food or is an adventurous eater :)

Delicious Thai food, friendly service, good menu options.
Perfectly Home Cooked by Mama Mon. It never disappoints. Try the HOI Tod, which is a seafood crispy pancake over a bed of bean sprouts.
And YUM WOONSEN 🌶🌶 ยำวุ้นเส้น
$11.99
Shrimp, minced chicken, bean thread noodles, exotic spices top with roasted peanuts.
My husband always go for the Thai pineapple Fried rice. And crispy pork.
My favorite Thai restaurant in the DMV! I love their Tom Yum soup, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, fried shrimp rolls, and thai iced tea.
Very friendly Mom and Pop Thai restaurant. Definitely all cooking "home cooked" style by Mom owner and her husband. My favourite is Hoi Tod. An expertly cooked crispy egg pancake with muscles on a bed of stir fried bean sprouts. Street food where no other Thai restaurants offer in their menu. Try it!
You guys this is the best Thai food in Virginia! This is authentic Thai food confirmed by me, a native thai person. Me and my husband we’ve come here so many times. My favorite is Tom yum noodles with wild noodles as you can see in the pictures and Kraprow moo sub
Come check this out!
มาทานกันเยอะๆนะคะ เตี๋ยวต้มยำกับก๋วยจั๊บอร่อยมาก
Food was really good and ambience too
The sheer negligence of this restaurant in omitting crucial ingredient information, leading to potential allergic reactions, is not just alarming but downright irresponsible. A close friend of mine nearly ended up in the Emergency Room due to the undisclosed ingredients in the food they ordered. Shockingly, instead of taking responsibility for the harm caused, the restaurant callously refused to issue a refund. Such a blatant disregard for customer safety and a refusal to make amends raise serious questions about the integrity of this establishment. What kind of business operates with such callousness and lack of accountability? I strongly advise against patronizing this place for the sake of your own safety – a restaurant that prioritizes profits over the well-being of its customers is not one to be trusted.
On Christmas Eve, I ordered crab fried rice and tom yum noodle soup for our dinner. It was my first time trying this restaurant because of good reviews. I used Google to order and double-checked for peanuts since my husband is super allergic.
Google menus included list of ingredients used for each menu. Because there was no mention of peanuts, I chose tom yum noodle soup. Other menu items that contained peanuts clearly listed peanuts as ingredients.
When we got our food and started our Christmas Eve dinner, my husband had a bit of the soup and got sick right away. I was worried and reached out to the store manager, Emmie. Her response was that it was our fault for not leaving a note. But there wasn't a place to leave a note when ordering. Our Christmas Eve dinner was ruined because of this.
It’s an authentic Thai food. Very tasty!! Friendly and polite service!!
Yummy!
This is the best Thai food in the area hands down!! I have lived in Thailand for many years and I can attest that this food is extremely authentic. We frequent Thai Mom and the service is fantastic and the food is very delicious!! I highly recommend Thai Mom!!
I love small restaurants frequented by locals. The food goes beyond your standard Thai menu with lots of street food options and a wealth of vegetarian items.
They changed the name but the owner/chef is the same as before. Still the best Thai around!
This place is awesome. Very authentic. Many dishes served here can’t be found in most Thai restaurants. The Healthy Set was really good. This is my go to Thai spot from now on!!!
"The most delicious restaurant, especially for Isaan sausages, stir-fried minced pork with holy basil, and Pad Thai, is excellent."
Great place to relax and eat, the staff are extremely nice. The food is really good. Highly recommend.
Absolutely delicious tofu pad thai.
Thai Treasure is a good Thai restaurant that truly excels in serving delicious chicken satay. The chicken satay at this restaurant is a flavor-packed delight, with tender and juicy chicken skewers marinated in a rich blend of Thai spices and seasonings. The satay is expertly grilled to perfection, providing a perfect balance of smokiness and succulence.
The accompanying peanut sauce is equally delightful, with a creamy and nutty flavor that complements the chicken satay perfectly. The satay is served with a side of fresh cucumber and tangy dipping sauce, enhancing the overall taste experience.
Aside from its fantastic chicken satay, Thai Treasure also offers an array of other authentic Thai dishes that cater to various tastes and preferences. The warm and inviting ambiance adds to the overall dining experience, making it a fantastic spot for enjoying a memorable Thai meal.
This place is a must-visit destination for chicken satay enthusiasts and Thai food lovers alike. Its delightful chicken satay, paired with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, creates a truly enjoyable dining experience that keeps patrons coming back for more.
Five out of five stars. The taste of authentic Thai food! Don't believe me, go and try it yourself.
Best Thai food I've had in a long time. Casual atmosphere, but clean and comfortable. Service was perfect.
Delicious Thai dishes and perfectly courteous and attentive staff. Service was quick the most recent Friday evening we were in for dinner.
We've been to a lot of Thai restaurants, and from a Thai perspective, this is by the far the best one. The food was outstanding, and we're impressed by the good amount of variety they have. The portions were also very good, and overall we were very pleased with the food and service. It was worth it after traveling a long way from Frederick, MD, and we would definitely recommend this place.
Food was good, but forgot our appetizer!
Best Thai Restaurant in Vienna, VA. Not americanized Thai food. Lots of Thai street food you can try.
New management & menu. Nice to see Street Food items. Really enjoyed this hidden gem. Very fresh seasonings and the staff is super friendly. Plenty of parking.
Sorry did not like the beef boat noodle soup. The meat was gamey and soup wasn’t very flavorful. Overall left a very gamey taste in my mouth. Also has shrimp cake was okay. Wasn’t seasoned inside so very plain in the middle. Would not recommend or return here.
Super authentic! Love it! We always visit here every time when we come to Washington DC.
Love the Thai salad selection and the boat noodles. Very authentic Thai food in the area.
Love this place! Turned my parents onto it a couple months back and now this is their go-to spot. Great service, authentic Thai dishes and street food, and great value. Love their papaya salad and shrimp cakes for apps. Try to mix it up for dinner but everything I’ve tried has been amazing so far.
This place is awesome. We ordered and took it to go. We had the crab fried rice which was excellent all of Thai places barely give you crab plus here they give to eggs in it, which was awesome. Drunken noodles with chicken was good and I tried the pickled crab salad which was a nice experience, I never seen this item before in other restaurants. I definitely will eat here when I’m craving Thai. I didn’t snap pics for all the food.
This is my to go restaurant, food seems to be fresh. I ordered a dish , started eating and in the middle, of eating I saw hair. So gross! Not coming here again!
It's like any other Good Thai place. We ordered the curries and felt that it was a little more watery than what we are used to, but the taste was fine.
Incredible and delicious authentic Thai food. With amazing high quality ingredients
Disappointed. Ordered beef pad Thai and they charged 5$ for the beef only to get 4 small strips of beef
Lack of pleasure there
Tasteless food. Poor service. Minuscule portions. Forced gratuities.
The best of the best Thai food. I came from out of state and their Thai street food menu are so difficult to find and they are so perfect. I had Tom yum noodles, boat noodles, liver salad, crispy pork rice, they all are superb. One of the best thai restaurants in the US and even in Thailand that I ever tried. Highly recommend!
Yummy food
Ordered their Larb, Tom Yum (Shrimp) Soup, and Mango Sticky Rice. Beware that the Larb does not contain any actual roasted rice, even though the menu says it does! Also, I did not see much mint in the dish or lettuce even though it says it contains it. The taste was pretty disappointing and it was mostly just minced chicken with red onions. Also, the Tom Yum soup was also disappointing, strong lemongrass flavor but not much in terms of mushrooms. Kiin Imm Thai in Dunn Loring has a better Tom Yum soup in my opinion. Lastly - the sticky rice with mango dessert was good but the portions size was a bit smaller than I expected...it actually looked like it was partially eaten bc of the way the portion was sized. Not sure if I would come back but might give one more chance if I am in the area again. Sort of disappointed with the food here.
Legit Thai food. Authentic street food options. Have crispy rice salad that you can't find easily even in Thailand. Their tom yum noodles are some of the best I've had. One of the best restaurants on that street.
We love this place! Awesome, authentic, and super tasty! The customer service is super friendly...they treat you like Family. One of our regular favorites! Hint: Go for the Hoi Tod...award winning quality and crispy taste 😊!
Wow, the small flounder is huge. Deep fried flounder is so crispy. You can dip it into the basil sauce but I prefer dip it into fish sauce. Delicious! The drunken noodles with seafood is super delicious. The seafood salad is super. The flavor of the boat noodle is little strong for me but still delicious. Highly recommend!
The best drunken noodles I had in my life! Generous portion and the food was very flavorful. Looking forward to be back again!
Great place to eat authentic Thai food. It’s family owned which makes the experience more personable. Highly recommended as one of the best Thai food restaurants in the dmv. Very clean, & friendly.
The best place to to eat and hangout! The food is really good! Big portions, great value, excellent service for dining-in and out, mouth watering pad thai. They even make their own seafood sauce (or the green sauce that comes with pork belly) which my husband really loves!
I love it! The drunken noodles are so goodddddd 🥰
Lots of vegan and gluten free options. Highly recommend the pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and drunken noodles--all can be made without gluten or animal products.
Had two great visits and then third visit (on a Monday) the flavors were way off. Maybe the main chef took a day off. This is the most authentic Thai food in McLean/Vienna.
Not fancy or pretentious, just excellent thai food, and friendly service!
Ordered basil fried rice at the spiciest level and it is not spicy at all. Literally no spice.
Very fast
Great variety of unique Thai dishes that aren't always found on other menus! Enjoyed the papaya salad, tom kha soup, pad thai, and sundried whole fish with sticky rice. The portions were a good size - will definitely be a repeat customer!
The chicken drunken noodles was very good, sticky rice was good although the mangoes we're a little over ripe. We would order either of those again. The beef massaman we would not order again since some of the big pieces were either untrueable or pure fat. I did like the peanuts in it though. This was our first time getting take out here and we use the 15% discount you get when you order from the website.
The Thai iced tea served in a mason style drinking jug was perfect to counter the spiciness of the seafood combination! I highly recommend eating some spicy Thai food if you are in the mood to clear out your sinuses or speed up your rate of digestion. The spices will prompt you to drink lots of water, which will help you stay hydrated! Next time, I will probably steer clear from the three chili pepper menu items to see if I have the fortitude to better handle the two chili pepper dishes.
Nice and Clean atmosphere. Foods were awesome!
This is so original Thai food. It is so delicious. High recommendation!!!
Let's try then you will love it.
Good food better experience
My new Thai favorite -- food was excellent and flavors were authentic. We had Papaya Salad, Pork Skewers, Red Curry Chicken and Crispy Fried Duck with Basil. Portions were very generous and served with plenty of good rice. All the accompanying spices you expect were available including a really tasty chili sauce for the pork skewers that I don't think I have had anywhere but in Thailand. Delicious Thai food, very generous portions, and friendly service -- this is my new favorite Thai place!
Nothing was very spicy but you can increase heat level yourself (with all the right spices) and I am sure they can cook to order -- didn't know what to expect for heat level the first time around.
Food are very delicious and very good customer service, make me happy.
We read the reviews and then tried Thai Treasure. Then we returned for another carry out - verdict is in - truly superb and tasty, no doubt.
We love Thai dishes and have sampled so many in the area. There are others who are good - but Thai Treasure in Vienna is tops. Food quality is exceptional, great portions and dishes are tasty... No favorite dishes, as so far all is just so, so good...
This place is most excellent! I had the fried flounder. (They don't have the big flounder yet as most of their business is take-out during the pandemic and that's tough to take-out, but they say they'll get it soon.) My wife had the curry chicken. Both came with their own sauce and were fantastic! For dessert, rice pudding with mango -- nice! The waiter (Ben? sorry, I should remember) was attentive and helpful with the menu. Emmy, the owner, is totally nice. Her mom, the cook, is very sweet. The family is Thai, the food is great!
Best Thai food in Northern Virginia
Flavor less
Consitently good food. Probably best Thai in the area since Thai Pilin in Tyson's has, IMHO, gotten mediocre. Thai Treasure has actually been getting a bit better wrt service and speed.
Food was ok, but I was not happy with the service i received.
1st time trying this place.
Reception could use a little more attentive.
We ordered Hoi Jaw as appetizer. We enjoyed it.
For entrees, we had street food's chicken tom yum noodles soup, green curry with just vegetables. The soup broth was tasty but not much special and lack of vegetables except for a few bean sprouts. The curry was good, we were expecting to have Thai's eggplants but got regular eggplants instead and lots of chopped cabbage.
For dessert, we tried sticky rice with coconut milk which is not on the menu. We were happy with it.
In conclusion, although the food is adequate for the millennials but we found the quality of Thai food has dwindled and dishes are less authentic than 10 years or so ago but still acceptable. Thai Treasure is comparable to other Thai establishments in DMV. 3 stars.
I deliver food and I came in here to pick up an order for a customer... I walked up the hostess' register and before I could even get a word in to say "Hi I'm picking up for..." the lady working the counter rudely yelled "IT'S OVER THERE" pointing to a bag a food on the table with my customer's name on it... Not to mention the place was less than clean, as there were children's toys and yard sale items scattered and stacked on a whole booth seat and table, it looked like they were doing spring cleaning... Either way, through that small interaction I immediately felt unwelcome and not appreciated for delivering THEIR product... In the future, they should be mindful on how they talk to not just their customers, but anyone who is doing any kind of business with them, somebody as little as a delivery man... “You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.”
The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were very generous! I would recommend trying some of the stuff that you are not used to. We had the Railroad Fried Rice, a noodle bowl, steamed dumplings, and the chilled chicken spring rolls which were all amazing. Definitely suggest this restaurant!
Fabulous bentobox-type meals.
The food was delicious! Great service and prices. Their lunch boxes had more than enough food for only $10. On my visit I also tried their fried banana & ice cream dessert... lets just say i had to order two because it was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend & will visit again
Best Thai food I've had in a long time. The vegetables in particular were surprisingly crisp and fresh tasting despite the sauce they were in
Food and service were excellent! The lunch box was the perfect portion, combination of things and for an amazing price ($10!) I ordered the massaman curry and it was delicious. The crispy duck was also great! It is supposed to be breaded and deep fried. The server was very friendly too. Will definitely be back!
I judge the Asian restaurants by
the rice served with the meal. The rice here seemed to be stripped of all of the nutrients, no chewiness to it. This still is the new crop season so one expects new rice, not boiled rice and reheated in a restaurant. The crispy duck was heavily coated in flour and deep fried. Not really digestible. The sauce was nicely balanced, sweet and salty with lots of heat from the chili peppers. Maybe what I ordered was not typically served to Americans but it was on the menu. They are trying so I will try again another day. For now, I am waiting for the Pepto Bismol to take effect.
Great food great service. Peaceful. Never a wait
Great food great service
The best
Good not great.
The food was great!
Great food, great service...The Khao Soi noodle soup was delish😋
The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the service was phenomenal.
Amazing food, great prices pleasant comfortable atmosphere
We have eaten here twice and had two great experiences. The staff takes good care of their customers and more importantly the food is excellent! We say that it is made with "love!" This time we had satay to start and Pad Thai, Panang, and cashew chicken for the mains.
We will be back again soon!
Amazing food especially the mussamun curry & fried banana with ice cream.
Oh my gosh this place is soooo goood!! We went here because we usually go to the sushi place next door but it the wait was really long, so we came here and it was incredible! Everything we ordered was amazing. The staff is very friendly too! Really recommend the steamed pork dumplings and the wonton soup.
OK. Third restaurant in this location in the last year.
Very good food.
Very nice people and the food is excellent. The best Thai restaurant around here and one of the best I’ve ever had!
This is a hidden treasure yet to be discovered by many. Most of the food has been great. Love the hoi jaw and steamed dumplings appetizers. The papaya salad is the best I've had in the DC area.
Great yum talay and Chinese broccoli. Nice service
Great authentic Thai food here! Don’t be fooled by the unassuming look and the unfinished feel of the place! Go there for the food! Ask for the Thai menu if you are feeling a bit more adventurous!
