We got the drunken noodles with tofu and chicken pad Thai and shrimp tempura. Really really good portion sizes and great prices. 10/10 recommend.

Never having visited before, I only knew before visiting that Finn Thai holds a good reputation. Coming for dinner, I was very surprised just how great the experience was. Table service is on-point and friendly. The menu is well-rounded with orders being brought out quickly. And, naturally, the food tastes wonderful. Visiting on a weekday, my party was immediately seated with most tables already filled.

Differentiating its presence from most other Thai restaurants, Finn Thai has a very modern, non-Eastern style decor and environment. It's an interesting change of pace.

Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered the Spring rolls, two lunch specials (Chicken Pad Thai and chicken Panama curry) and a bottle of wine. Would recommend and return.

Our entire office ordered. Order lunch specials over phone. We get to restaurant and pickup multiple orders and asked for our salads was told that lunch specials are only dine in only. This was not said over phone, this was not on the menu. When I asked was told sorry it’s dine in only. Spending almost $200 and was spoken to rudely and told zero apology for this when this was not disclosed verbally or posted/written anywhere.

I come here all the time and I love it. It’s my favorite place to eat in Purcellville! Friendly, attentive staff - cozy atmosphere - generous portions of delicious food. None of the dishes disappoint. Highly recommend for people who love Thai food OR are new to it!

I travel around northern VA a lot for work. I was working in Purcellville so I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the cashew chicken to go. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I hope to work in Purcellville again so I can go back.

Thai food is pretty good, we ordered firecracker chicken instead of any appetizers which worked well for 6 people. Green Curry is pretty good

We ate here regularly, but on the most recent occasion the food was not good and had 3 hairs in it. Not only that, but when I went to get it corrected they were not able to give a refund because there was no manager on duty. Unexceptable....

Update. Manager has offered to provide a 25 dollar gift card to fix issue.

Best Thai place in town

It is good food but the last time I will pay $17.00 for plain drunken noodles $19 w/pick up tip. No chicken, beef, shrimp or vegetables, just rice noodles.

Excellent, fresh Thai. Perfect balance of sweet, spice, salt and sour in the Thai Eggplant dish. Pad Thai was great - not too peanutty. Papaya salad was best I’ve had!

Had a fantastic experience here. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and made good recommendations. We had both sushi and Thai entrees, and everything was delicious. They use the perfect amount of flavor and spice. We also loved our Thai tea!

Best sushi in Loudoun! We have been going here for Thai food since they opened, but figured that sushi was best left for Japanese restaurants in D.C.

We wanted sushi but didn’t want to head east so decided to give it a try given the rest of their food is so good. Their sushi is very fresh, served at the right temperature, and prepared professionally by a guy that has clearly taken the time to learn the proper techniques.

To boot, owners are very welcoming and their staff are happy creating a warm atmosphere. This is what eating out at a small family restaurant is supposed to be like.

I recommend sitting at the sushi bar.

Amazing Thai flavors in tiny Purcellville

The only bad thing is that I waited too long to go here. Everything was fantastic! Accommodating for my vegetarian daughter and my non vegetarian self. Excellent.

This place is FANTASTIC! First time in, and we ordered firecracker chicken drunken noodles, and shrimp rolls. It was honestly the best we've ever had. The service quite honestly blew my mind, and there were quite a few patrons. Excellent all around!

got food poisoning from the sushi here. i had eaten multiple meals that day and felt fine. i got the sushi for dinner and was okay until i got home with cramps in my stomach so bad i couldn’t even stand up straight and violent nausea and vomiting, almost called 911 because i couldn’t move.. very disappointed because i really used to love their food but will never eat here again. i also have an intense fear of vomit and sent me into a full fledged panic attack, probably didn’t help the situation.

My daughter got food poisoning from the sushi…. kind off weird because she eats here all the time especially the sushi and was violently ill, not a good look.

We ordered take out on a Sunday night. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I wanted to try the food and regret not posting a more positive review. Perhaps the restaurant had a better chef from the positive reviews that led me to try the food? The food was prepared fast and portions were generous. However the firecracker chicken was over cooked, thinly sliced, with little batter to encourage tenderness and tough and stringy to the point a steak knife failed to cut it. It tasted left over or possibly has been cooked and reheated. The pad Thai was sour, starchy with little to no flavor and even the peanuts tasted stale. My friend said it was the worse he’s ever had and I agree. The Penang curry was watery but tasted ok with over cooked vegetables - not anything special. The restaurant needs to improve its cooking techniques and use fresher ingredients. Perhaps hire a new chef otherwise I can’t see how they can survive with better Thai restaurants in the area. I will not try other dishes here. I would recommend Thai Pan. I did not have the sushi however will not try it as the food I tried had a stale quality. I’d recommend Jasmine for sushi.

Me and my wife always get drunken noodle, extra spicy (mine) and pad Thai with tofu (hers). Ever since COVID hit, we've been regulars.

We have enjoyed this place in the past, but last night my wife and I got sick on the chicken satay. We ate different foods all day and felt good. We then got 3 dishes from Finn Thai for dinner. I was greedy and ate 4 of the 5 chicken satays to include the sauces. My wife ate the other one. Thankfully my daughter doesn't like chicken satay. Two hours later I started to get chills, aches, fever, nausea, and a headache that I couldn't get rid of. Hours later my wife started to get these symptoms. I am fully confident in saying that we got ill from your food. With me being the worse off and then my wife. My daughter has zero symptoms after 24 hours because she didn't eat the satay. I like to support our local restaurants, but not at the cost of my health. I will not be eating here for a long time now. Probably ruined my crave for Thai food too. Food poisoning is awful.
I also noticed that on January 4th your restaurant was written up by a Food Inspector for Raw animal food (shell eggs) stored over ready-to-eat food in the walk-in refrigeration unit.
Corrective Actions: Store raw animal foods (shell eggs) below ready-to-eat foods to prevent cross-contamination.

Finn Thai is one of my favorite local places for Thai and curry. They never disappoint.

The service was horrible. Our server took forever to take our order. One of the staff members (lady with green hair) cleaned the top of the table across from us with the same broom used to clean the floor. Also no one wiped the table with a sanitary cloth before seating the next family. My steak came out first and our sushi sat out in the open (not even behind the glass) for 10-15min while our server did other things and people walked by and hung out breathing on our food. The food was meh and expensive and not once did she check on us or apologize.

Such a great culinary experience! The atomphere is comfortable and welcoming like home, the food is exquisitely cooked with phenomenal flavors. I had the Cashew Chicken which has a bit of heat, not a lot, with sweet and tangy sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place.

I stopped in for a light lunch. Food and atmosphere were great. Waitstaff was also very attentive. Restaurant and bathrooms were both clean. The place is decorated nicely. My food came quickly and was prepared well.

I liked their menu and I’m I am a huge fan of Thai Lime salad (they call it Cryibg Tiger), so I had to try it. The cuts of beef were very good quality and cooked perfectly. The dressing was spicy and tangy, just how I like it. I wish there was a little bit more veggies/salad on the plate as the portion was smaller than I’m used to though. Flavor was excellent though. I took home some of the papaya salad. It was also delicious but only came with 2 shrimp on it, which was more like a garnish than anything. But the flavor was fantastic otherwise.

I tried a few pieces of nigiri sushi and it was wonderfully fresh. They offer scallop on their menu, which you don’t see every day. It was very fresh with a mild sweetness, which is exactly as it should be.

This will always be our favorite Thai place! Highly recommend both of the soups. My favorite is the Green Curry, it’s loaded with all kinds of fresh veggies and basil, and the Panang Curry is delicious as well. Don’t forget the coconut ice cream for dessert 😋 They were even open for pick up today during the snow storm! 5 stars every time!!

Chicken bets were way over done and hard. The plate I ordered had the wrong noodles, I asked the waitress what the table next to me had because it looked good and I liked the noodles but that was not what I got though the flavor was good.

A Great Thai restaurant near me in Purcellville VA is a privilege! No long drives! Great Thai food, great service. Most of the stuff on their menu is Thai--not watered down with American style oriental boring stuff.. I ordered Siam Steak and Ginger Chicken. Both were just excellent. I ate tooooo much of both. Everyone inside was safely masked, but the owners were forced to eject one visitor while I was there. They were very nice about it, and gently took him outside and bid him on his nightly way, as is befitting any stray cricket. I personally watched him hop off into the night. They had to kick him out. A cricket with no mask? What would you do?

This place has the best miso soup and one of the best drunken noodle dishes I've had. Every one was polite and speedy with our order.

We ordered carry out as we were passing through. We were not disappointed! We had Tom Kha soup, Chili Basil, and two variations of Pad Thai. Our order was ready a little early. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The price was appropriate for the quality and quantity of food. The soup was delicious! My Chili Basil was nice and spicy. The chicken was cooked perfectly- it was nice and juicy. My wife loved her Chicken Pad Thai. My daughter got the Shrimp Pad Thai, but I "had to" help her finish. There were plenty of big, perfectly-cooked shrimp. My son, who normally doesn't prefer Asian food, even enjoyed the sample he tried! Thank you, Finn Thai, for taking great care of hungry travellers!

Good drunk noodles.

No one is answering the phone. It’s been 15 minutes. It’s the busy line. I guess that don’t want to take any orders.... when I did call they hung up on me and now it’s just the busy tone. The food is great but the service has always been bad.... ): how unfortunate for such a good place to eat. The young servers don’t seem like they know anything. They are just thrown in with no experience. Will give another try but this is ridiculous. How hard should I be to order food over the phone?

This is one of the very few times I’ve been motivated to write a review. The food at the Finn Thai restaurant in Purcellville is superb. It is on par with the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok albeit without the carved fruit and river view! I’ve tried Finn Thai several times but today’s lunch was the best so far. The price and quantities are reasonable and the people are very nice.
