I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Wow, really tasty Thai entrees!! I had coconut soup, spring rolls, Thai tea and vegetable pangang curry. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My bf had a spicy chicken and veggie entree. He said it was delicious. We sat outside and really enjoyed the historic culpeper downtown night life.

This is a wonderful restaurant with great everything!!! I live in walking distance on Davis so I am fully aware of how busy they stay!!! They are always kind when I see them! What I ordered tonight was served so upscale but only $25 including my sweet tea!!! It is their Wonton Soup and Mango with Sticky Rice Yum 😋 One of my top 3 restaurants in Culpeper!!!

My family ate here twice during our Shenandoah road trip, such a fantastic experience! The waiting staff were super quick and thoughtful (including the robot!). I ordered my usual pick at Thai restaurants, pad see ew, and was blown away by how stretchy and long yet not-oily the rice noodles were. I think it was better than any pad see ew I've ever had in LA, San Jose, or Boston. The fried rice dishes and curry were fantastic as well, so aromatic and not excessively salty nor oily. Thank you for the tasty homey food while travelling!!

Then they have a robot delivering the food to the table, which I thought was a nice gimmick. Their food tasted pretty good. Their price is a bit high for most of the dishes. Many of their dishes on the menu are $25 or higher. Although I did get a huge portion of Padthai for $18. But the Pad See Ew my friend got was only half the portion as my Padthai for the same price.

Modifying a previous review about the service. We went back today, and the service was as excellent as the food. Generous portions and overall lovely.

While wondering through Culpeper, we came across Pinto Thai Restaurant, and boy are we glad we did! We have returned time after time and are very satisfied customers. We love to eat and we love good food. We've tried many items on the menu, so it's hard to choose a favorite. Each meal has been uniquely crafted and is made with the freshest ingredients. The service is exceptional and the employees are truly happy to see you! Thank you, Pinto Thai, for your consistent excellence!

I ordered Drunken Noodles and a nice hot cup of tea. It was really cold out so the tea was a great start. The Drunken Noodles however was not the best. I love drunken noodles!!! The noodles were rubbery like they had been cooked the day before and microwaved to warm them up or left too long under a heat lamp. I ended up getting a to go box and throwing it away. The restaurant was clean and had a fairly steady stream of foot traffic so I was really surprised at the low quality meal. Won’t be going back. 😔

Beware the spice level is not consistent! My family really loves the food, but sometimes the spiciness on the same dish is different the next time you order. They have a wide selection of dishes that I don’t see on other places which is great to have. I especially recommend the nasi goreng.

Pinto Thai NEVER DISAPPOINTS! As a vegan, I had never experienced Thai food due to the common use of fish and oyster sauce, but Pinto Thai is incredibly flexible! They easily accommodated my dietary needs and prepared delicious vegan dishes for me and my friends. I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, and every visit leaves me happy and satisfied. The tofu chicken fried rice is my absolute favorite! 💛

If there was ever a word to describe the food, the staff, and even the place itself, it would be that and then some. I LOVE restaurants that make sure you don't leave hungry and, guys, this restaurant feeds to FILL. The taste of the food is SO good, I just love the sweet, savory, and spicy mixed together. It was my first time eating at this place and it had a great first impression. 100/10 will definitely come back again! 😋😍🤤

I had my birthday dinner here with 13 of us, and it was fantastic! Everything was super fresh and with great presentation. They were very sweet to the kids, and even gave them little toys. The best Thai food I've had - definite 5 stars!

Enjoyed dinner, the Heaven Pork Belly with sticky rice was a perfect portion for me. We were seated promptly, got our drinks order in and my guest was quickly served their appetizer.

Best thai in the area, hands down. Try the wonton soup. Great staff and awesome food.

Having enjoyed many Thai restaurants, can say they have the BEST Som Tum (papaya salad). Their Kra Pow Beef was excellent as well. Can't wait to visit again.

I have eaten here many times, but this will be the last. Today I went to a PintoThai with my sister. We had a phenomenal meal, but before we were done, we were brought boxes, and then someone walked out to us for us to pay on the machine. I thought that it was odd, but figured that they did this because we were sitting outside. We stayed for a few minutes to chat, when I noticed that no one else was getting this treatment. Everyone else was brought their bill, and then they went inside to pay We were definitely discriminated against, and when we asked about it, they acted like they didn’t know what we were speaking about. Will be not back.

My favorite place to eat in town. Dine in, take out or deliver! Either way you’ll get the same great service and food available in town. Since moving to Culpeper in 2020 it’s still my favorite place in town to eat. I’m so proud of all the success this place has garnered and I hope it’s here to stay. Culpeper isn’t Culpeper without Pinto Thai <3

One word: Complexity. Best Thai in the state! The wonton soup that came with my lunch special was more flavorful than any I’ve ever had. There was a hint of tomato, roasted garlic, Thai chili, scallions, cilantro, clove, pepper corn, lime, tamarind: sour, sweet, salty, light hint of spice. I don’t know how they got the umami flavor too, maybe the pork from the wonton or the minced chicken. The chicken satay was so flavorful on its own having been marinated in a light yellow curry oil, but then you get a smooth peanut dipping sauce with it. The spring roll was fresh and light, the wanton wrapper it was fried in was thin and light not coated in oil yet still crisp and flaky. My main dish was Penang Curry which I asked to be spiced to the max. It delivered. They didn’t hold back knowing that the flavors would still punch through the heat. The peanut was not overpowering, and the basil was so fresh they must have their own garden. My wife who is spice sensitive asked to have hers not spicy at all and had no problem eating her red curry. Cheers. We will be back often.

Very charming place with tasty food. And the DJ makes it more fun. Hehe. I called the robot who brings you food as DJ, because it plays music. The food is yummy yummy.

Amazing Thai place! Super friendly service, all the food was excellent. Came with my family and we all had something different, all was top notch. Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Volcano Shrimp, Seafood Salad, Calamari. They have a robot that brings the food to your table which is wild! And very cool. Affordable bottles of great wine. 100% will come back any time I'm in Culpeper!

One thing to note! I got "medium" spice level for my food and it was HOT. Maybe consider mild unless you are a die hard spice fan. Still delicious!

I don't know if it was because we were in the back but we had no designated server. I had to flag one down just to get a drink as I watched them pass by our table numerous times. A friend recommend me to go there but the service was so bad. I may give them another try in the future. I see they have really good reviews so maybe it was a one off.

Best Thai place I've ever been too! The food is super amazing 100/10. My favorite is the Pad Thai, the portion size makes it worth the while too! I always go home with a full belly and leftovers for the next day. The servers are super nice and helpful, and the robot that serves you the food is so unique haha. It danced one time which was so hilarious. The decoratations in the restaurant is neat as well!

My go-to Thai place (and I live 1.5hrs away) for years! The food is flavorful, each dish has its own, unique taste, the service is superb, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and they are friendly towards young patrons. Thank you Pinto Thai for your consistent service!

The food was delicious. They have an extensive menu and you can customize your spice level. It was a bit loud but that is only because they are so busy. I would definitely recommend calling ahead. The dish I recommend the most is the chocolate ice cream - it was delicious!

We arrived on a busy Saturday around 6:00. We did not have a reservation, but they had a table available. They apparently have a thriving take out business as well as dine in. All the staff were very polite, and the service was above par. There is a cute robot that delivers the food to your table, and then a wait person serves you. Pretty neat idea! The tables are wood, and ours was very sticky. Our table was divided by clear glass, so another couple had half the table. It’s a little awkward as you can hear each other’s conversations as well as have a clear view of each other. The menu is extensive – and also very sticky. We were surprised that the pricing (food and adult beverages) was as high as it is – in Culpeper? There is a full bar, and a lackluster, although expensive, wine list. Think Robert Mondavi. On the bright side, the food was delicious. Very fresh and tasty. My spouse got the Massaman Curry with Shrimp. The shrimp were nice sized with large chunks of potato in a yummy sauce. He ordered the meal with a heat of 2 (which is standard), and it was not very spicy at all. He said he’d up the ante next time! I ordered the Stir-Fried Ginger with chicken. It was all white meat and had one small bone in it. It was so good! The white rice that came with the meals was cooked perfectly. We spent $50 with tax and tip and no adult beverages. We would return again if in the area.

Love the food. Had the drunken noodle, it was great. Service was so so. One of our meals we had to ask where it was about 5 minutes after the others got theirs. We are outside our first visit. Second time inside. They have a robot run food and we watched it almost hit people several times and then it bumped into tables and had to be helped. Didn't like the robot. Probably won't eat I'm the restaurant anymore.

Absolutely fantastic food. I live in Los Angeles with a lot of Thai restaurants. This was some of the best I have ever had. Had Panang Talay, off the dumpling sampler, Shu Mai and potstickers. All were excellent. Other people with me had similar reactions. Robot delivery of the lunch was cool.

This was our first time here. I LOVE Thai food and this place definitely came through. This was my wife’s first time having Thai food and the waitress was extremely helpful walking her through the menu to give her pointers on what to get. Everything is amazing here. Highly recommend. The food was great! I ordered the Pad Thai & it was a huge portion & so good. My husband ordered the coconut soup & tomato ramen and said it was great. We topped it off with fried ice cream. Bonus: all orders were delivered by robot. We will be back on our next visit to Culpeper.

The atmosphere and food are very good. It is pricey though, so we reserve Pinto Thai for special occasions.

This place double charged my credit card. I only found out when I got the monthly bill somehow, I guess I didn't catch a double charge on the receipt or I chose not to print one that night. Anyways, I got charged $66 for a meal for one person that night. Kind of upset with the place and that is very shady practice

This place is lovely but a bit small, also the service okay and the food is really why I gave it a 3 star. I liked the summer rolls and the Thai tea but other than that the entrees are subpar. Although everyone’s food preferences are different the food here really isn't going to WOW you if you’re trying to find a Thai restaurant that serves authenticity. Parking is on the street if you can find some otherwise there are a few public parking lots within walking distance.

But, they were broken and a bit overcooked/mushy. The spice level was great. The chicken was actually very bad tasting. Could tell it was frozen? And hard/overcooked. Also never saw anyone put parsley in drunken noodles. Did not enjoy that.
The basil fried rice was also a bit mushy. And much more bland. Tofu was cooked well. But didn’t go well with the rice.

I'm not quite a fan of Thai as what my wife is but I really did enjoy the meal that I had here.

Which is amazing as the only other time we’d been here was to book the table. There were two younger children in the party who were looked after by the staff.

We took a rec from our host and came in for simple drinks at bar. Service was usual but then the server took our waters and trotted to another table with them. They had already been placed in front of us! In some states, that’s a health-code violation. Final kicker was I gave this same server a $20 bill for the tab but she did not return my of my change. Bill was maybe $16-17 total. Rude and unacceptable!

Food was seasoned well. We ordered the drunken noodles, panang curry lunch special and the multiple appetizers. The lunch special comes with soup and roll. A little pricey

Good Thai food to eat in old town Culpeper. It was fun watching the robot deliver food to the tables. A server takes the food off and places it on the table for you. The robot sang happy birthday and brought a cake to the table next to us. Everything we had was great.

One of Culpeper's restaurant gems! The price is a touch more than average, but the food and service are top notch. AND, for those into bathroom cleanliness, I highly encourage you to use the facilities! Great job, Pinto Thai! Lunch special is a LOT of food.

The food was good, but priced above average. We ordered two appetizers that never came, when we asked the server she didn’t even care about it. And there’s a robot playing the same song over and over again when bringing the food to the customers.

It was great food and a great experience. All the food was prepared fast and tasted like it was made in Bangkok.

I love this place! Hands down one of my favorite places to go in Culpeper. It can be pricey but so worth it! Portions are great! Everything you can tell is fresh. Staff is really nice. Love the decor! I will always send people over to this place. Can’t wait to make my way over again soon. I have been getting food from here for the past 3 years. Dine in and take out.

Took a pit stop here from Scottsville to DC and i was surprised that this little town had a thai place this good! I had to bookmark it for next time i drive through this area. Definitely worth the money too! My friends and i ordered tom yum (soup), panag curry, and drunken noodles. There were no complaints from any of us! Also loved the decor for halloween!

One of our favorite restaurants in town, and the best Thai food! Great environment and service is always good. I picked up lunch today and the hostess served me water and a small salad while I waited for my food to be done.

So happy Pinto Thai opened in downtown Culpeper. Their food and drinks are delicious!! Great ambiance, good customer service, good food, quality cocktails. You can’t go wrong eating at Pinto Thai. They even have a robot who delivers food, which makes for a unique dining experience. I get their mojito to drink often when I go there and Pinto Thai makes them the best. So refreshing and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. Their Thai ice tea is really good, too. From fried rice to pad Thai to curry dishes you really can’t go wrong with anything you get here. The only negative I can think of is my husband wishes they would expand their beer selection. Still doesn’t stop us from dining there though. They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. If you want good Thai food, Pinto Thai is a must stop in downtown Culpeper.
