The seats were comfy. I preferred the Panama Curry. It had a wonderful unique flavor that was so delicious. I ordered it with shrimp (from the lunch menu). We also got the drunken noodles which were also delicious. The salad served with the ginger sauce was a perfect mixture and not over powering. The prices are good and the food quality is awesome! I can’t wait to come back.

I have been here before and loved it, but it has been a few years. Last night my husband took me for Mother's Day and I ordered Thai fried rice with chicken. The portion was huge (but I don't think I'd say it was worth $17 😳) so I boxed the rest up to eat for lunch today. Imagine my surprise when I opened my box to find that my food from LAST NIGHT was riddled with mold. I am in complete shock.

This was one of the better Thai and Japanese restaurants that we visited. The service and cleanliness are a 5-star. The food was a 4-5 star. I was hoping for a really good Pad Thai, but this one missed the mark. It was okay, but the sauce was too thin and it lacked the peanut flavor I liked. Over all, it was good and we will likely return.

This is one of those “hidden gem” places that my husband and I love! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes and options. On our first trip, our server suggested the Tokyo Monster roll, which was not on the menu but is divine! On our second trip, I couldn’t remember the names of the rolls that we ordered, so I showed her a picture I’d taken and she immediately knew what rolls we wanted. I also love the basil cashew chicken and the hot soup that comes with it!

2/5 stars. 2 stars because the soup, salad, and gyoza were good. The entree was decent, bland, but edible enough to eat. The biggest problem is that I spent $30 on a plate of hibachi from the kitchen to include shrimp, steak, and chicken…..I received three shrimp. It is $23.50 for just steak and chicken, so essentially I paid about $7…..for 3 individual shrimp. A total rip-off and a deceitful menu. The waitress tried to explain the reason why, but it made no sense. Also, the scoop of rice was no where near enough for the other two meats that I received. I WOULD NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. They are always empty, and I thought it was just because they are newer, nope, it’s because they price gouge. BUYER BEWARE: $7=3 shrimp

Flavors were very fresh, clean just enough for lunch. We got Masago, Takoyaki, and a sushi roll I can’t recall, hibachi chicken teriyaki, miso soup and salad. One issue was partially cooked takoyaki. The part I tried was good though. Nice waitress and staff. Will return for something new.

Horrible customer service and bland food. We ordered take out, which is a 15 minute drive and toll each direction for us to get there. The restaurant called us as we got back home and were pulling into the driveway to inform us that they forgot to give us one of our entrees. I asked the young lady if they would comp the cost of the entree if I came back to pick it up. She checked with management and told me yes, they would do that for me. They then immediately called me back to say nevermind and I would ONLY get a refund if I did NOT come back to get the food. I explained the distance and toll I would have to pay and they didn’t care. The phone was then transferred to the manager and she refused to compensate me for their error. I again explained my situation and the amount of money I would spend on the tolls and gas, but she didn’t care and said no refund if I come get the food. She told me that I could get a refund only if I don’t come back. We used a promo code for a free appetizer if we spent over $75. The manager proceeded to tell us that our compensation is the free appetizer. We tried to explain to her that the appetizer was for the amount of money we spent there, and that it was not an appetizer of good-will for their error. She just kept arguing that we already got free food. We also explained that by the time we get the food and come back home, our food will be cold. She refused to help for their mistake and even told us that the owner was standing next to her. We asked to speak with the owner and were denied as she stated he doesn’t care. When we called her out on that as them having horrible customer service, then her claim was that he doesn’t speak English. We asked for the managers name because at this point we wanted our refund and were no longer willing to make the drive back. We wanted her name in case we did not see the refund on our card in a couple of days. The manager refused to disclose her name. They are unwilling to have accountability for their mistakes and do not take care of their customers. The green curry was bland and tasted like it was watered down- it had absolutely no flavor. They also overpacked the saucey/curry dishes and didn’t close the lids all the way so food was spilling everywhere. Absolutely horrible service. We will not be returning. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Always consistant, always 1'st rate. The sushi is perfect & in a different league of the other places in Great Bridge & beyond. The Thai dishes are always good & the hibachi is a great choice as well. It is clean & quiet. The observant owner & his staff pick up on barely-there social cues & adjust the thermostat, music, etc. to what they see at the tables. This man has taught many, the secret to a great restaurant: Care. 🌟

Ordered lunch for 3 adults, one child for our Mother's Day celebration. My daughter was picking it up. When she arrived, she told me that they made her pay $1.00 for the extra egg that was ordered on the Pad Thai. I understand upcharges for substitutions/etc.; however, the Pad Thai was ordered with one extra egg, and no veggies or meat. I was not expecting the price of the Pad Thai to decrease without the meat, but I also did not think it would increase for one egg. The dollar on her credit card probably cost them more because of the credit card fees. I want to also make note that my total with tax and a 15.00 tip (for pick up) was $127.10. That takes care of the one star for Service.
The one star for food comes from the Pad Thai with an extra egg. The noodles were pasty and cold. The Tempura veggies were greasy and cold. The sushi was warm. The fried rice came out in one giant blob. The shrimp looked raw on the inside, and the pork dumplings were frozen in the inside. The only item that was warm was the salad..🤨. Needless to say, we will not be returning for seconds. We opted for the port wine cheese and Ritz crackers from our own kitchen, about $5.00.

They have an amazing lunch special where you get miso soup, ginger salad and two rolls for $12.95. Service was very quick and friendly.

The food was fresh and tasty. The service was great. The staff was attentive and quick to take orders and bring out food which was seasoned perfectly. No photos just enjoyed dinner with my family but, the foods appearance was appetizing. The restaurant was clean.

We had the shrimp and scallop hibachi, the volcano roll, calamari, the Chesapeake roll, soup and salad. I would definitely return if I were to be in the area.

My experience at Mikado Japanese restaurant was incredibly disappointing. Not only did they fall short in terms of customer service, but their disregard for health standards was alarming. Throughout my visit, I witnessed staff members using the same gloves for sweeping and handling food without any regard for hygiene. Moreover, I observed employees eating without washing their hands afterwards, and then continuing to handle food and carry out normal business operations. This blatant disregard for basic food safety practices is unacceptable and completely ruined my dining experience.

My travels today took me to Mikado Japanese and Thai restaurant for lunch. I ordered the Hibachi Salmon and was not disappointed! The salmon flaked easily with a fork, and coated with a yummy glaze. The veggies
were crisp/tender; cooked to perfection. I particularly liked the miso soup and bits of seaweed on the bottom. The short-grained Japanese rice was fluffy, delicious, and peppered, with bits of egg included!❤️ I highly recommend!

Spent around 75 dollars for 2 people. Drenched in oil and soya sauce. Hibachi salmon was a big piece of fish that has sweet sauce all over it. Soups have no flavor. I have had better soup at the penitentiary. Sushi, smashed in a tiny container. All the food went straight into the trash. This place is not Thai or Japanese. This place is a straight China 1 restaurant.

I've never planned on leaving a review for anything but I feel like my experience with this restaurant needed it. I saw the 4.6 star rating and I was very excited to try it. I'm not sure if it was a bad night for the restaurant or if everyone who has eaten here has no taste buds but the food was awful. I can not speak for service or atmosphere since I had my order delivered. The smoked salmon nigiri was abhorrent. It was almost as if it was unrefridgerated for a day and then served after sitting under a heat lamp for about 30 minutes. I asked for no masago on my bed Tataki and my spicy scallop nigiri and recieved it on both. I actually was not completely disappointed with my spicy scallop nigiri. I would give it about 2 stars. Only because it delivered on the spice. However, it was so heavily covered in masago(which again I asked for none) and seaweed that I couldn't even be positive it was even scallop to begin with. My beef tataki again was requested with no masago but despite my request it was still included with the dish in a seemingly uncaring manner as it was basically plopped mostly onto one specific piece of beef almost like it was meant to be disrespectful and not complimentary to the dish at all. Last but most definitely not least I ordered a side of white rice. I am in the military and the only time I've ever seen rice prepared in this manner has been on deployment. The rice was somehow undercooked but also overcooked at the same time. I had very high hopes going into my trial of this restaurant. This is very honestly the first review I've ever left for anything ever. Japanese food is one of my favorite cuisines and I've never been more disappointed.

We had Thai tonight the hospitality is wonderful. The appetizers were on point seared blacken tuna, seaweed salad were delicious. We had Cashew shrimp chicken and basil extra spicy plentiful and scrumptious. The Pad see ew chicken was good not over the edge in flavor. A little pricey but no major complaints.

Came here because they are supposed to be a Japanese and Thai restaurant. They had lots of sushi choices but a very limited Thai menu. Some of the common Thai dishes are not even offered. Their miso soup is so bland, water has more flavor. A diner with me ordered a Boston roll and it was so full of lettuce with a skim of shrimp in it. Should have been called a lettuce roll instead.

Mikado is the best Thai place in the Great Bridge. It is the only place I know of that serves Thai and Japanese food. I usually get a roll and some fried rice. Both are excellent. I have also tried the drunken noodles, pad thai, currys, and Ka Pros (Thai chili basil). All of these dishes are excellent.

We've been here multiple times now. We love coming here. Plenty of food options to choose from. Friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. All the noodle options are good at least the ones I've tried so far. And the sushi is always excellent here.

This is our favorite date night go to. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and they don't skip on the fish like most places around here. They're very friendly, service is fast, and they also offer lunch specials if you're wanting something quick and delicious.

We come here once a week. We absolutely love this place. Walking distance from our home. Excellent service, friendly staff, extremely clean and absolutely delicious!

I ordered in person for takeout Drunken Noodle dinner portion. Their spice level is 0-10, I chose 5. The dinner comes with miso soup and salad. The flavor and texture of the sauce was good. The vegetables were red & green onion, red and green bell pepper, and fresh basil. There was no tomato, carrots or broccoli. Tofu was cooked perfectly. Flat rice noodles were over cooked and mushy. The portion size is good. Will likely give them another try.

We have been here many times and this was the busiest I've seen it since the pandemic started. Quickly seated but it took the server quite a while to come back for our order after we received our drinks. The hibachi came out quickly but forgot the sushi order. It was left sitting on the counter. Even with all of that, food was still excellent. I think the server was newish too.

Not impressed with the food. First, I ordered my food to go and the sushi was packaged inside a small container that smashed the sushi in. The cream cheese was soft and the smoked salmon didn’t taste smoked at all. The food was bland and I wouldn’t order from them again.

Take out food was flavorless and small. The tian mu friend rice had zero flavor and the chicken was super chewy and fatty. Could not taste the coconut at all. And there were no green beans in it like on the description. The Japanese spring rolls were 2.5inches big and only got 3 for 6.50…major rip off. In the description online it says nothing about size or amount, so partly my bad, but that was way too much money for 3 small spring rolls. Not ordering again.

Today I go to one of my favorite restaurants to pick up an order to take home. Food is always great, but today the customer service was lacking. I waited to get my order and I was the next in line to receive my order. so I patiently waited to get my food where I was skipped. I asked the server why did he service her when I was waiting here before her. I also asked why did you not ask who was next to ensure that you as the server you are providing good customer service. He got frustrated with a conversation that all I wanted him to do was understand and learn from his mistake. Instead he kept trying to end the conversation, rudely. Finally he decided to ask somebody else to deal with me and stormed off! This is a sad moment that could of ended with no problems but the amount of disrespect I recieved from I believe his name was Dominick was uncalled for! Also to make matters worse they were rushing me out of the restaurant when I was trying to just talk it out and handle this at the lowest level possible!!!

We get the hibachi here, and we’ve gotten their sushi as well. Nice folks, and for pickup orders they’re great. 20 minutes and it’s ready.

Hubby ordered Mongolian Beef. I ordered Habatchi House with steak chicken and shrimp - gluten free. Yumyum sauce is spectacular. Meals were delicious and well portioned. My tea glass never hit the empty mark. Service was fast and friendly! Highly recommend!
