This place is amazing!! It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! I got the Yellow Curry with Tofu and everything was cooked to perfection! Although I normally dislike having bell peppers and onions in my food, I kid you not they were the highlight of my meal! The cook was just amazing or something idk. Also the potatoes were amazing! And even though it doesn't look like a lot, it filled me up real quick! Definitely making this my favorite Thai place to eat at!

Hands down this is my favorite restaurant in Provo! The pad thai is incredible! I've stopped ordering pad thai at other places because it is never as good as it is here! The employees are always so kind and they are quick to do take out orders over the phone. 100/10 recommend this place!

I like the currys here. The pad Thai was dry for my preference. The service is extremely slow if you are eating there during lunch time. Takes a full hour to get in and out if there is no wait. I still think it's a decent place, takeout is probably the way to go.

We ordered a Pad Thai, yellow and massaman curries, and a bowl of tom kha gai, and all of them were super tasty, flavorful, and hot. I’ll definitely be looking forward to coming back soon!

Not a fan. The food was sub par and they didn’t even have a restroom available - which is against health code! We couldn’t even wash our hands - so clearly they aren’t either. 🥹

I have lived in Salt Lake and Davis counties and have tried lots of thai restaurants all the way up to Weber County. Spicy thai in Provo is the very best of the best. My favorite pad thai—doesn’t taste too much like fish sauce or tamarind like some places. The shrimp roll appetizer is so good, too.

We ALWAYS eat here when we’re visiting Provo. Their (gluten free) massaman and yellow curries are our favorites!

Spicy Thai has absolutely delicious food! I’ve been coming here for years and love so many different dishes on the menu! However the only reason I’m not giving a complete set of 4/4 stars is because of the service I’ve received recently. BEWARE of the blond host up at the front desk he was extremely rude to me and my friends and did not seem to care whether we lived or died. I understand the food industry can be rough, and the hours long. However not everybody is out to get restaurant staff, so it would be nice to not be treated like roadkill when you’re a nice customer who tips well. This isn’t the first time I’ve received careless service either. Like I said I love this place but after my experience here recently I don’t know if I’ll be back for a long time.

My husband and I love Spicy Thai so much!! Every time we come we are greeted and smiled at immediately. We have never had to wait too long to be seated and they always bring out the food so fast! My husband loves the masaman curry because it is gluten free (most of the food is gluten free) and my favorite is the Pad Thai!! The food tastes so authentic and delicious. The servers are always so kind and know exactly when to fill our waters and get us the check! Spicy Thai is a great place to eat! :)

I am severe celiac and they do a great job with cross-contamination and have delicious GF food. I have never gotten sick here. My favorite dish is the pad Thai This is a great family friendly restaurant and the servers are personable.

I live close to Spicy Thai and come often. I’ve never been disappointed. The lunch specials are the best food and value anywhere. My husband and I do take out for dinner pretty often, too. On special occasions we indulge in the mango sticky rice. Love, Love, Love!

Everything was great but this place needs a good clean. The service was great. The 2 items we ordered were well prepared. Unfortunately, the floor really needed a good vacuum and the restroom a proper clean.

My friends and I are vegan, so I called and asked if we could get some vegan curry, the person on the phone told me vegan dishes, we ordered them and ate them. Two days later, I called and asked again for the vegan dishes and this time the person on the phone went to ask the chef and reported back to me that none of the curry is vegan or even vegetarian, they all contain shrimp paste. I am pretty disappointed the first person didn't know this or check on this, it is an important issue to me and it sucks buying something you were told was different.

Edit: we got the curry that time I was told it was vegan (just wanted to clarify.)

Pleasant, family friendly restaurant. I love eating here because it’s a family owned business and it’s made with good quality. The servers are all friendly and are fun to talk to. On the weekends it can get pretty crowded just because it’s so popular and they have so many orders that you don’t see in the back.

At some point Spicy Thai left authenticity, it came with the modern shift that came, I have been going to Spicy Thai since it first opened. And the last several years it has disappointed me.
I wish I could say covid was what ruined it for me, but it started going down hill when they opened a Spicy Thai Express near Thanksgiving points years ago, it didn’t survive. Since that modernization of spicy Thai. I found recipes tasting different and I was disappointed.
I guess I will just have to enjoy the memory

I had the Fresh Rolls, and the Chicken Panang Curry. The flavor was amazing, and the food had a nice spicy burn 🔥 just the way I like it. We finished our meal with Mango Sticky Rice. It was fresh and smooth. Best Thai food in Utah!

Service was good, everyone was friendly. The curry on the other hand 😬😬 I got the yellow curry and it was quite literally milk white. There was no flavor to it. I added a bunch of the chili powder just to add some flavor. The chicken was bland, the potatoes were clear, and the peppers were just raw added before serving. Dumplings were good, only saving grace for my dinner tonight.

The BEST Thai food in Utah. I’ve been to dozens of Thai restaurants all over the state and outside the state, and this is the only one I love enough to come back to. Some of my favorite dishes are the pork egg rolls, yellow curry, mango sticky rice, Pad se iwe.

This place gets BUSY. It’s that good. Even with reservations you can wait for over an hour on certain weekends, and 90% of negative reviews will come from service issues, order mixups, and wait times when they get swamped, so plan a weeknight visit to avoid the crowds. If you can’t do a weeknight, come well before 6pm to avoid the rush. BUT DEFINITELY COME!

Best Thai food around. The mango sticky rice and yellow curry are our favorite. The servers are just about as nice as you can get and I had the pleasure to meet the owner who is a class act. You can tell the whole team cares about the place and their customers!

I had Spicy Thai cater my wedding and it was amazing! They were really helpful with helping us choose the amount of food we needed to feed our guests (around 200 people).
All of our guests told us the food was absolutely delicious, that it was the best food served out of all of the weddings they had attended prior.
Big kudos to the owner and the staff that made it possible for our wedding!

Spicy Thai is really good. They have a daily lunch special with one small entree, a cup of soup, and one appetizer for $8.99. I especially love the Tomma Kai soup. I think the special runs from open to 3:30p.

Good Thai restaurant. Have gone here for years and still love it. They don’t have a kids menu but the chow mein is a great one for the kids (although expensive to get for a kid. Will feed 2-3 younger kids)

I’ve been here 10 times over the last year. The punch cards are great, the food is amazing. The service is greatly lacking. I have only had my water refilled 2 out of the ten visits. The servers are rushed and seems understaffed or they are distracted and make conversation with friends and people they are acquainted with in the area outside of work. Many religious conversations are had with guests waiting rather than attending to the guests sitting at the tables. It’s gotten to the point I felt this review needs to be posted. Paying high dollar for great food should be paid back to the customer by excellent service and respect. This is one of my favorite places to visit for the high quality food.

This is a great Thai place and the prices are fabulous. I particularly love their yellow curry and their Tom Kha Kai soup. Their Lunch deals are also fantastic and service is great.
My only wish would be a changing table in the bathroom but that was only because I happened to need one while I was there.

Our group of 8 had the best food and service EVER! From the time we walked in until we walked out we felt like we got the ROYAL red carpet treatment. We had all the appetizers and many of the entrees as well as dessert and LOVED it ALL!!! If you haven't eaten there, you MUST!!! They have take-ouy too! Can't go wrong! Spicy Thai is BY FAR the best local business in the Provo area!! The food is out of this world and very authentic and clean tasting, with tons of flavor. I used to not like Thai food until I tried this place, and now I can’t stop going any chance I get! The restaurant has a super homey feel and the service is incredible! Spicy Thai is a good place to grab some good thai food. Lunch specials are very filling and only like 9 bucks. Great price for the amount of food. Plus the cooks are the best. I've met them and they are very cool.

I struggle with any other Thai restaurant because I think they simply do it best. The Tom Ka is filled with veggies and chicken, not just some sour mess filled with mushrooms. Their satay is unlike any other, first marinated and then fried, instead of grilled. And the curries? STACKED with meat. I simply love this place!

Again, it seemed more like they had this ready to go, rather than them cooking it in the back. They are pretty inexpensive. But all in all, it was a good place to eat, I would eat here again, but I prefer the one in Payson "Yummy Thai." Nothing can beat them!
