This is the most delicious pumpkin curry I’ve ever had. I’m not a vegetarian, but I do love tofu, and theirs was fried to perfection before being stewed with the rest of the pumpkin curry. YUM YUM. They also serve their curry with the most delightful purple rice! Fragrant and nutty.

Service was not great. My food came out 20 minutes before my three companions received their meals. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive otherwise— it was probably just a kitchen/online ordering/prioritization issue.

The girl up front is always very friendly even while juggling customer walk ins, pepping to go orders and answering the phone - she always smiles and is very personable. ❤️

Tried the Thai basil rice with seafood with a fried egg. It was salty but the rice and egg balanced it out. The cucumbers and broccoli were crispy and fresh.
The curry puffs with pork were like a flaky crust and the filling had a lot of flavor.
The Tom kha soup was creamy and Ll the veggies were so fresh and great. I liked that I could get. Small bowl as an appetizer type deal.
The customer service is amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. I recommend this place for sure.

The food here was delicious, the service was prompt, the atmosphere was cozy without being too tight, and the music was great - though I’m noticing that Carabao takes a lot of “inspiration” from some western songs hahaha. Major recommend, but if you get the Mana App Combo don’t be fooled and think you’re not going to be absolutely up to your eyes in appetizers.

Some of the best Thai kee mao and pad Thai with great sized portions. The owners are kind and welcoming. We are only here for 5 days, but are likely to come back!

We got the Massaman curry with shrimp, ham fried rice and the chicken lettuce wraps. Every dish was delicious.

Our only complaint was how cold it was in the restaurant. I'm guessing they're in the process of getting their heating system fixed.

I ordered take-out yesterday. They were very busy. I saw more than 15 food order tickets on the counter and I waited for my food for a long time, more than 30 minutes. There were 5-6 other people waiting for their food like me and everyone understood. I think it was worth the food I got. Although the food is not fancy, the presentation is not like a high-end restaurant, but the taste of the food is not inferior to any other restaurant. It is very delicious. It is worth the wait. The service is also good. Every time I come here, I will order the mango curry, coconut soup and garlic over rice.
I have been eating at this restaurant since it was a paper plate. From that day until today, they are always busy. They are a family business. There are parents and a husband and wife. Before, Mana Thai Cafe had only 4 tables, but now they have grown rapidly and have more tables to accommodate customers. I want everyone who sees my post to come and try their food. Next time, I will try to sit in the restaurant. Although the food took a long time and the taste may not be to everyone's taste, but I feel the sincerity and dedication of everyone who works there... I just want to recommend and help support a small business. Thank you.

Pra Ram to go was not good, ropy chicken, not high quality and not cooked well, skimpy on peanut sauce, could only eat a few bites, didn't finish. Kitchen doesn't smell clean. Bummer, was hoping it would be good.

This was our first time coming to Mana and it is our new favorite restaurant in SLC. There is not another restaurant in SLC that has this level of amazing food and top-tier service. Not only was our server and other wait staff amazing, we got to spend some time talking with the owner and learning about the restaurants history. Most importantly, the care the owners have for the community and it's members are the opitimy of what a small business should exude!

I’m always looking for the best Kao Soi in Salt Lake, and was excited to try this new restaurant. They did not disappoint - the kao soi was delicious and definitely one of my favorites in Salt Lake. I also got the massaman curry which was equally delicious.

I went on a date to Mana Thai Cafe. When we arrived, we got seated super quick! We ordered the combo appetizer, green curry, and pineapple fried rice. My date said it was the best pineapple fried rice that he’s ever tried (it’s his go to order for Thai food). I have loved every single dish I have tried! The wait for food was a little long but definitely worth the wait. It’s a small place with limited staff- so give them some grace!

We LOVE Aya and Mana Thai! The food is delicious-and they do a great job making sure I can eat gluten free. The pad Thai is my favorite. I go often with my 4 year old and Aya is so sweet with her. She even bought children's chopsticks so my girl could use chopsticks when we go. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

This was an amazing Thai joint. Loved how small and quaint, and loved that they have a few tables outside. Food was so fresh and flavorful. Service was great and timed perfectly. No complaints. Ordered Fresh Rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, Tom Kha soup and pangang curry. Will be back.

Went here with a few buddies on Saturday. I had the pad thai, green curry, pot stickers and dumplings. Everything was excellent, especially the pad thai and dumplings.

The owners work very hard and took time to chat with us which we greatly appreciated.

I’m traveler from New York. This is one of best Thai restaurant similar like Thai food in Thailand.
My favorite one is Pad Thai and Thai Basil stir fried.
They are small restaurant but always busy whenever I came. This my fifth times at this restaurant. Absolutely I’ll back.

Ordered food for delivery, tried calling to find out where food was as had not arrived after almost 2 hours, extremely rude person on phone who advised that they were very busy and he would cancel order and refund our money and promptly hung up on me.

I really want to like this place, it’s only about a block away and the people are really nice. I’ve made the mistake a couple times of ordering take out on a Friday and have had a similar experience both times. I ordered at 6:15pm (wait time stated was 55 minutes) I showed up at 7:10pm and sat there for 45 more minutes, before I got my food at 7:55pm. They were apologetic and included a complementary thai tea which was nice but when you’ve waited that long it’s hard for it not to affect the overall experience.

Disgusting pad thai(no balance in the sauce it was 70% fish sauce and 30% sugar, noodles were horribly overcooked.) They had no idea how expediting food works, and dishes would come out sporadically and leave diners eating cold food before others even ate. Do not recommend this place in the least, might be the worst Thai food in the valley.

The mark of a good Thai restaurant is its Pad Thai - I was very disappointed in all the 4.9 reviews because this was probably one of the worst Pad Thais I’ve ever eaten.
The noodles were fried in old oil, and the chicken, scarce as it was, tasted like it was fried in old oil that had an ‘off taste’ because it had obviously been used previously to Fry shrimp.
The sauce itself was way too sweet and too thick, and there were next to no scallions mixed in with the noodles, and as previously noted, for my $18, they were just a handful of chickens pieces.
I love, mom and Pops, restaurants, but I can’t handle flies hovering over my meal while I’m eating!
The waitress didn’t seem to notice that dirt from the planter had spilled on the floor. A sweet lady, but the food was tolerable at best.
They’re only about five tables, and a sign telling you to order at the counter. So it’s more of a takeout joint than a restaurant.
We were very disappointed and will not re-returning.

This place is tiny but intimate enough for a fairly good date night with your so because you aren’t breaking an arm and your legs just to pay for your food let alone your dates and the drunken noodles are really good and the heat choice is really great too I choose the 4/5 it was perfect for the heat for me 😊

I just had the most amazing meal with my family at Mana Thai Cafe. The service was amazing, the location is small but the atmosphere is wonderful. One of the best Tom Kha soups I've ever had. The portions were huge and everything was so delicious. Not one complaint!! Can't wait to come back!

We’ve gotten food twice from here, only ordering online for take out. We typically order from Chai Yo Thai, but decided to give this a try since it’s closer and because Chai Yo takes a month off every summer to visit Thailand. The food is ok…there is no option to choose a spice level so unless the menu indicates a red pepper emoji there is zero spice/heat in the dish. Thai food without any spice tends to be bland to me and odd as Thai is often characterized as being spicy. Other Thai restaurants typically allow you to choose spice level (mild, moderate, hot, etc.) and there is no option for this. Both times ordering take out online was delayed. First time, they were very slow, but didn’t start making our food until we arrived to pick it up at the estimated time. The second time, estimate was 40 min. We got there at the estimated time and had to wait another 45 min for the food beyond the stated time. They were super busy and very nice though. We will be sticking with Chai Yo as our go to Thai.

The first few times here were great! However 2 mishaps back to back and we will now not be back.
First time we ordered vegan and ended up with chicken- they did drive it out to our house but there was arguing about us not ordering vegan (we obviously know we are vegan and would never order meat)

Second time we called in pickup and they didn’t have our order at all and proceeded to tell me I called the wrong place.
I showed them the number on their Google page and they said that wasn’t them. We check the biz phone and there was my number from 40 min earlier and they couldn’t find our ticket anywhere.

I myself use to own a restaurant so I know how things get at times but the way it was handled both times wasn’t right.
The food here is amazing (if you get what you ordered)

Incredible food. The best I’ve had outside Thailand. All the appetizers are delicious, including the curry dumplings, the crispy curry dumplings and the curry crispy dip. The Tom Kha and pumpkin curry are personal favorites of mine.

They’re always fast for takeout and the food is always spectacular.

We were very impressed with our food--it was savory, flavorful, fresh, and beautiful, just like Thai food should be. Large portions too, so a 40$ takeout for two dishes can last for at least a few days. Well worth it... Give it a try!

An wonderful family-owned gem with a cozy seating area. Perfect for take-out, they prepare your food quickly without cutting quality or flavor. Definitely a go-to spot for take-out nights.

This is a cozy mom-and-pop place with very friendly service and some of the best Thai food I've had in a long time. We got chicken satay, massaman curry, and panang curry. The serving sizes were quite generous and I was fully satisfied when I left.

All the dishes we had brought such bright and bold flavors with the ideal amount of spice. The family who runs the kitchen uses the unique recipes you will not find at a standard Thai restaurant. 10/10 experience. Come hungry and interested to try new things! You will not be disappointed.

As soon as I pulled up to this place, I knew it was going to be good. Hole in the wall Thai restaurant. Nice atmosphere and cool people. Got take out and the Green curry was delicious and extremely filling. Fell asleep immediately after I finished the whole order. One order would probably be substantial enough for two people. I will be coming back again if I am craving Thai food in the Salt Lake area.

Food was very good

I went for lunch. The food was wonderful! Had the yellow curry curry, Thai coffee and fried spring rolls and everything was delicious. The service was fantastic, she was so friendly. The place is quite small which I think makes it very charming.

Super tasty food!!! Very small and quaint atmosphere. Definitely one of my new favorite Thai places around town. Lucky me cuz I live less than a mile away! The Ginger Stir Fry, Drunken noodles, pumpkin curry, and coconut shrimp were all delicious!Super friendly and attentive staff. I would love to see more sustainable practices for dine-in serving dishes, utensils, and to-go containers in the future, but I understand the investment that must be for a small business with what I am sure is limited kitchen space. Perhaps with time that can change.

We have been meaning to try Mana for some time and had a great first experience here today. I will definitely be recommending.

My favorite place to eat lately. Everything I've tried has been so good and consistent. There's another review on here that says they want an IV of Tom Kha straight to their veins. I agree. The dish I would recommend most is everything.

The food here was incredible! Amazing pad Thai, pad see ew, soups, and curry. I have been to Thailand and this is just as good. Wonderful tiny mom & pop shop. The serving size was generous. Great for takeout or dine in as well.

Here is my favorite Thai restaurant in Utah. There foods never upset me. I always order duck with rice and duck noodle. They are very authentic like I ate in Thailand. I also recommended garlic&pepper stir fries with fried egg. This place save my life from cooking everyday. Recommend it from Thai who never find good food like this in Utah before

We meant to go to a neighbouring restaurant that was closed and stumbled upon Mana Thai by pure chance. We were so glad we did. The food is as good as you’d find in Thailand, super authentic and delicious. The owners were a delight. This is a rare gem that I can’t recommend enough.

We ordered delivery, which arrived about the estimated time and food is very warm and super delicious! We had Thai basil stir fried eggplant with tofu, avocado penang curry with chicken drunken noodles and green curry dumplings, all very YUM!

This place is just too good. The food will do the talking, but the curry dumplings are a great start, easily the best curry sauce I’ve had. The street food is incredibly flavorful. I’m so excited that this place is around. Exactly the type of quality food I love. Will be back, with friends!

Great local thai restaurant! Got the combo appetizer plate, green curry and the pad Thai. The green curry was one of the most flavorful curries I have ever had and the other items we got were also delicious! The owner was really nice and made you feel welcome. Overall would highly recommend coming here, one of the best Thai places that we have been to in Utah.
