went to @arunthai.tx for some Thai food. love having so many Halal Thai options in the city. ordered the Tiger Cry, Chicken Satay, Chicken Dumplings, Tom Yum Soup and a Thai Iced Tea. really enjoyed the food, first off the Tiger Cry was amazing ribeye steak which was tender and juicy. also liked the chicken Satay especially dipped in the peanut sauce. The Tom Yum soup was great aswell had a kick to it. overall this place is a great addition to the Halal Thai scene.

The food was absolutely delicious 😋 I had the Garlic Sauce Beef and my wife had the Drew's Chicken Special. We're definitely coming back! I was also impressed by the wait time for the food. All dishes were ready within 10 minutes!

We love Thai food and had tried almost every one in the area. Was super excited about this new place. Ordered take out last night. Roti was so bad that it upset my stomach badly. It was dipped in oil and oil dripping all over, just tried one and trashed other one as my wife stayed away from it by the looks. This is the simplest dish I would expect not to mess with. The curry sauce that came with it was decent. The other dish I tried was Ground chicken basil and fried egg. It was ok, not anything special. Not sure which one upset my stomach, roti is big no for me!

Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and delicious. I was in the area on vacation. If I lived there I'd be ordering every week. Service was great! Very responsive to anything we needed. Prices are reasonable too. Since I have family in that area, I'll make an effort to visit here again when I'm back that way.
Atmosphere is a little bit hole in the wall. It's a clean, casual place in a strip mall so nothing fancy, also not pretentiousness. I liked it. But maybe not a first date place, unless you're grabbing a quick lunch or snack.

I travel to visit family in Houston frequently and without exception, I always dine at my favorite Thai restaurants , Morningside Thai and the newly opened Arun Thai. The quality of food, reasonable prices and variety of delicious choices set these two Thai restaurants apart from the others. Also, the service and professionalism from the owners and staff are exceptional and they always ensure a pleasant dining experience. I recommend these restaurants highly for those seeking a tasty and fulfilling Thai meal in a warm and friendly environment!

Loved the setup of their place, feels homey and chill. The staff was kind and accommodating, plus the food was really good! Would recommend their entreé dishes as well as their roti. 🤩

Food is great and fresh , they are second location of Morningside Thai in Texas medical center.

This is more of a lunch place, even on weekends the kitchen closes at 8:30 pm . Staff are in hurry to close the restaurant, at 9 pm they wanted us to pay our bill while we were finishing dinner so they can close the register.
Food is very average, only thing good were fried rice and Thai salad.

Food is good. I love their curry, pad thai, pad pett. They serve halal, which is a plus. Service is awesome. The restaurant is very clean and organized.

My friend recommended this wonderful Thai restaurant, and it exceeded expectations! We enjoyed the Salmon Panang Curry, Lemongrass Chicken, and Pad Woon Sen Seafood, each dish was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking authentic Thai cuisine.

We tried several dishes like Pad Thai, Papaya salad, crispy garlic chicken, and Pad See Ew. The papaya salad was spicy but it was extremely sweet and the Pad Thai was also very sweet. The crispy garlic chicken was good and pad see ew was decent. The food took a while to come out and there were a lot of people waiting for their to-go (for a long time). Wouldn’t say this is an authentic Thai restaurant.

Cute little eatery conveniently located in the neighborhood. The place was a little busy when we arrived so it took some time, but the food was well worth the wait. All the flavors are well-balanced and portions are perfectly sized. Will definitely be visiting again!

My Pad Thai was just garbage. Total meal $72. What a rip off.

tried the food here for the first time and I will say it was a solid 7 out of 10! I prefer Naha Thai on highway 6

Papaya Salad - 9/10 - very very very good
Tom Kha - 3/10 - I would not order this again. It was very bland and tasted only like coconut milk.
Chicken Satay- 8/10 This was cooked to perfection, but there was no flavor or marination on the chicken. additionally the cucumber salad tasted old and had no flavor.

The staff was very nice and attentive and extremely well timed Service, even though they were busy with orders and dine in customers .

when I found out they were owned by the same people that have Morningside Thai restaurant in Houston. I was so excited! If I hadn't done a Google search for Thai food, I never would've even realized it open so close to me. I got fried rice. It was delicious! Tastes just like the one in Houston except this one's only five minutes away. 😍 I hope it stays consistent and stays open a long time

Glad to find this casual yet cozy Thai restaurant in the Riverstone neighborhood. We had calamari, Panang curry with crispy chicken, pad thai, and pineapple fried rice. Calamari was tender and crispy. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. Also reasonably priced for its portion. Will definitely return!

Had a great experience and customer service was amazing! I was recommended stir fried chicken sweet basil and the chicken and cheese rolls are absolutely delicious! Definitely will be coming back!
