Great service. Came in for lunch at 11. Filled up fast! Had lunch special 14$ red curry, massaman curry and fried calamari. They come with salad (ginger/peanut) and soup. The soup we chose tofu and it was so delicious. I had ordered an extra massaman curry to go but it didn't come with soup, only had salad. So, might need to check your take out orders. Maybe they forgot but the food and service was great.

I came to this restaurant on the Thursday night when it was cold outside. My first impression about the restaurant was its darkness. The restaurant doesn't have a cozy vibe, but dark and cold. I didn't feel comfortable at all when i walked into restaurant that has weird vibe. It's probably just my preference. I was introduced to this restaurant by a group of foodie that praised this restaurant as the best restaurant in the DFW area. Maybe i am picky, but I don't totally agree with those comments. Maybe they are easy eaters. My food was okay, not something that I would come back and try again.

I enjoy eating there with my son and granddaughter. They have a nice lunch special which is very filling. The service is always wonderful and attentive. You can't go wrong with Thai Thumbz.

I had to knock off a few stars. I love Thai Thumbz but I brought my baby today for dinner and specifically requested NO peanuts or egg on his pad thai due to an allergy. The restaurant light is very dim in the evening so I did not see the egg in his food. I saw his face was swelling and rashes were forming so I had to give him Benadryl and sit on standby with his epi pen. I do not recommend Thai Thumbz if you have any allergies.

Very nice Thai restaurant in Sugar Land. Authentic thai flavor, some new dishes not seen in other Thai places, such as shrimp cake, papaya salad, pineapple curry. Satay chicken is the tenderest! Easy parking with the parking building beside the restaurant. The best thing is there is wine list.

Place was packed when we went on a Saturday night. But service was great, staff was super polite and sweet. We got our food quicker than expected esp with how busy they were. The spice level range is definitely more legit than other Thai places I’ve been to. The 3 was a comfortable heat, and had more of a kick to it than the “Thai hot/5” at other places. We had the pad see ew and khao soi. Both were super yummy! Price range is a bit higher than what I’m used to, but the portions were larger, and the food quality was definitely better. The khao soi is noodles inside of curry, and we kept sipping on the curry by itself because it was so good haha. We also got the fried squid and the squid wasn’t super chewy, and the batter was very thin and crispy.

Definitely recommend checking this place out.

OMG! Amazing Thai food! Just be warned that my expectation of "medium" spicy is not their expectation! So lower your spice level down one notch cuz dayuuum, the food is aHmaZing but I had to blue my nose several times! Lol!

The lunch weekday special includes a cup of the lemongrass soup and a house salad, which i asked with peanut dressing. It exceeded all expectations! Then we got the egg rolls and pork dumpling appetizers... Again, so crispy and right on point with flavor! My main was the chicken pad thai and it was a larger portion than I expected for lunch special. It was my first time there, but it won't be my last!!

Delicious Pad Thai!! This is my favorite Thai restaurant in DFW. I constantly recommend it to friends and regularly entertain clients here. You will not be disappointed!

The food here is really good and the service is generally pretty fast. Our waiter was incredible with owl ears because he heard us asking a different server for a booster seat and brought it before the other server had even left the table. Every other server was incredible as well, with everybody checking on our table or bringing us drink refills as required whether they were assigned to us or not. Everyone was very friendly. I definitely recommend this place for your Thai food requirements.

I got the pineapple with chicken “medium” and it was soooo good. We had just finish a tennis match and was hungry. The response time at the place was pretty fast. The server even came back a couple times to make sure we had refills. It was a lot of us and we all enjoyed the food. You guys rock!

I got the basil ka-pow with pork. This is NOT what I expected it to be. I've had basil ka-pow multiple times before and I've even made it myself before and this was a huge disappointment. For their price of $13 I expect much more than what was given. I was still hungry after eating, it's not filling whatsoever. The pork pieces were so hard to bite.
My friends got beef pad Thai. The quantity was a lot, so making it more much worth it, but again, the meat and super tough.
I don't think the quantity given matches the price point and I wouldn't come back.

Update: came back with some friends to eat in the store. Still not completely impressed. I got the basil kapow with pork and white rice. I felt like it was too salty and not enough quantity.
My friend got the drunken noodle with chicken and it was delicious with a large amount. My other friend got a red curry and it was good and quite a bit in the medium deep bowl. Overall, I think if I ever came back, I'd only order the noodles and not a rice dish.
Since we came at lunch, It came with a soul and salad. I got the peanut dressing which was delicious. I could literally just lick the peanut dressing 🤤
The shrimp cakes were delicious and I wish it was bigger and more.

Best Pad Thai in town and love the BYOB!

They hiked the prices of the items and cut down the amount. The drunken noodle was the worst, hardly enough for even one person. Their menu prices are the highest compared to a lot of other Thai restaurants in the area. And for what…for lesser amounts. But food is good. But we have seen other thai restaurants where the food tastes better than here that charge you less. Never coming back here.

Stopped in during peak lunch service in a Wednesday and they were packed. Even still, I was seated within 2 minutes.

The food is excellent. I went with Panang Curry and “hot” heat level. It was the perfect lunch portion and lunch heat level.

Wouldn’t recommend for an authentic Thai experience . They could add little more light to the whole restaurant . Service was quick . Since they are short staffed they make sure the waiter comes and ask 2 times at least

Vegetarian egg rolls were fantastic-so crispy! The menu didn't mention you get 4. Cashew chicken was delicious as was the Garlic Chicken soup.

Food is good and fresh here! Also BYOB if you want to bring a bottle. I had drunken noodles with chicken. Other people at my table had some tasty appetizers. Give this place a try!

Cute restaurant located in a cute plaza. We ordered Basil fried rice with combination of proteins, Seafood salad, Tom yum soup w extra glass noodles. They were all tasty but I just hoped my seafood salad to be more cold. However, I couldn't complain for the price!

We stayed at a hotel few minutes away and ordered togo. Staff was welcoming and the place was busy. We ordered the Tom Yum soup and Basil Chicken Fried Rice. Food was delicious!

Good lunch place.

The food is absolutely delicious. I got the red curry with seafood. The pieces of shrimp and scallops were big and very generous. I didn't feel like I had to go digging for the seafood. The best part about the seafood is that it wasn't overcooked. So easy to go from tender to rubbery but I did not have that issue. The curry itself had wonderful flavor. I got spice level 3 which was comparable to a particularly spicy serrano pepper. They kinda forgot about me when I wanted to pay but I don't really care too much about that. I was there for the good food and they delivered. Highly recommend.

For Owner, i am a customer visit very often, but i have bad experience yesterday when i have my favorite foods, everything is great but except the seafood in my food, they’re not similar with what i had before, all the seafoods are downgraded, the scallops smelled rotten, the shrimps are taste awful and small, squid also smelled rotten. only the mussels is ok. i hope you read this and check them more frequently or at least check it before it goes to the table. and i wish you can bring back the shrimp and scallop with the quality that made you famous, not the quality everyone use.Thanks

Went here for date night. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the food was excellent. The waiter was attentive always smiling. It was our first time so we did know you can BYOB. We will surely do so next time.

My friend and I ordered the pad kee mow, basil fried rice, Tom kha, and the chicken satay, and all four dishes tasted amazing! The chicken satay was presented differently with 5 pieces of chicken put on top of a small piece of bread, and the peanut sauce on top was delicious. Will be back

Excellent good and especially service. I have been here several times for lunch and had Drunken Noodles most of those times. Very good with soup and salad. The only downside is when it fills up it can get noisy. But an excellent place overall.

Everytime my friend and I have gone to this restaurant, the service is excellent. They treat you with respect and are very timely in their service. Plus, the food has always been so delicious and the portion sizes are generous for the price. We are a huge fan of the garlic shrimp fried rice! Would 10/10 recommend!!

Be warned. The front doesn't seem very inviting. It's dark with trees covering the sign.

But go through the doors and everything changes. It's great!

03/17/2023: I checked out Thai’s Thumbz with a girlfriend for dinner on Friday night around 6:30 pm. We did have to wait for a table since the place was packed.

We ended up sharing shrimp pineapple fried rice and chicken drunken noodles. The food came out so fast. Probably less than 10 minutes.

The food was great. I totally forgot to take pics of the food. The shrimp were huge and there was plenty of chicken. Each dish was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!!! Can’t wait to go again and try other dishes.
