Don’t waste your money or time. We decided to try this restaurant for the first time tonight based on its positive reviews, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. We ordered General Tso’s Chicken with Lo Mein, Honey Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Wonton Soup, Shrimp Tempura, and two sides of Fried Rice. Sadly, this was by far the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had here in Dallas. Panda Express would've been better and cheaper.

The Honey Sesame Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken were both dry, chewy, and clearly not fresh. The sauce had pooled at the bottom of the containers, making it obvious the food had been sitting out for quite some time. When we called to voice our concerns, Carlos was argumentative and informed us that the food was made earlier this morning, with the last batch cooked around 4 PM due to being busy. Admitting the food was made hours ago only confirmed our suspicion that it was old.

The egg roll didn’t even resemble an egg roll—it looked more like a spring roll—and it was dry and cold. The Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Tempura, and crispy noodles (for the soup) were similarly disappointing—greasy, stale, and unappetizing and The Lo Mein was overcooked.

The only saving grace was the Fried Rice, which was better than the rest of the dishes, though still not exceptional.

To address our complaints, Carlos offered us a $30 credit toward a future order. However, we’re not satisfied with that resolution. After this experience, we’re hesitant to order from here again, as we don’t believe they can deliver either quality food or good customer service. What was supposed to be a quick and easy dinner turned into a frustrating ordeal, and we’re now left scrambling to find something else to eat.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Placed my first order here via Uber eats. $17.79 for chicken Pad Thai. Was so excited as they had a bogo deal so I got two for the price of one. What I received was not Pad Thai at all. Thai food is my favorite cuisine and all restaurant pad Thai generally has a similar flavor profile of tangy/sour from the tamarind, sweet, salty… plus lime for extra fresh burst of tart, and spice if you desire. Pad Thai noodles are thin and firm. Fresh bean sprouts on the side and chopped peanuts are on top usually.

My receipt said two orders of Pad Thai, but these were wide soft noodles, the typical flavor profile was not here, it had some spice even though it didn’t ask me for spice level preference, and there was no lime or fresh bean sprouts.

Anyway, I read reviews and an Asian person said this was the best pad thai they’ve had so I trusted them😩. I’m so sorry. This was a tasty noodle dish and the portion was good, but it just isn’t pad Thai, which I was craving. That’s why I gave two stars instead of 1. And if you can’t handle any spice, know that they don’t ask you about that if you order on Uber eats. Hope this helps you out!

My orange peel chicken with fried rice was overcooked and the chicken was very dry. The sauce in the rice was not good, like it had been in the cooking pot a long time. My husband’s sweet and sour chicken had no flavor. The chicken was just plain with no sauce, no sweet and sour taste at all. There were 3 tiny pieces of pineapple and a little onion. The third order for my grandson was dumplings which he said did not taste like any dumplings he had ever had. Not much taste. His order of wings with buffalo sauce were not good. Again the wings were so overcooked he could not chew the meat. The Buffalo sauce was not like normal buffalo sauce. It had a kind of funky taste for Buffalo sauce, too, sour tasting, The two egg roles and sauce were good.
I chose this place because of the 4.5 rating online and its reasonable prices. I will not go back. I will not recommend it to anyone. Granted it was a busy night, but the food was not edible. Way overcooked. What a disappointment for a New Year’s Eve meal.

This place is one of my favorites! The food was very flavorful & very reasonably priced when considering the portion size. I got the chicken pad thai, which has become my new favorite thing to get here. The chicken is tender, the sauce has a nice kick to it, and the noodles are soft. The service was also great! Our server was very prompt & friendly!

Just had a wonderful experience at Rice and Noodle this father's day!! My dad and daughters are SUPER picky eaters but there was something for everyone!! The fried rice was very flavorful, Pad Thai was the right amount of spicy, and the Honey Sesame Chicken was HUGE. Kathy was a doll at taking care of our table too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for any type of Asian food in the area

This is a strange experience. I ordered ramen, very mediocre. Our hot tea was served in iced tea glasses. I will not be back.

To take order, it took 15mins when only 2 table was occupied entire restaurant was empty .. food was tasty.

I was really looking forward to my meal since I like flat noodle and thought it would make for an interesting pad thai variant (they use large flat noodles for their pad thai). Unfortunately the peanut oil they use was either rancid or burned. It tasted extremely bitter, sour, and scorched at the same time. There was really no flavor to the food other than this. No lime or bean sprouts even though the menu on the tables says it comes with bean sprouts.

Fortunately the hibachi noodle was much better but honestly I don’t think we’ll come back to try this again. The egg roll was the best thing we tried: crispy and yummy. More like a spring roll but at least tasty. The restaurant had pretty decor; we liked the lucky cats.

First time here I came with family. Food was amazing :) And our waiter was an amazing man who kept us well taken care of :) Will come back soon

I tried their "Thai fried rice" today, and unfortunately, it was far from authentic. The dish was just rice drenched in soy sauce with frozen carrots and dry chicken—nothing close to real Thai fried rice, very saucy. The hot and sour soup was equally disappointing, lacking freshness and flavor.

To the manager/owner of Rice and Noodles: I strongly recommend reconsidering the use of "Thai" in your menu descriptions, as it misrepresents the essence of Thai cuisine. Authenticity matters, and this was a let down.

Ordered “spicy Korean chicken” and “mixed Mongolian” from door dash tonight. The food that arrived did not remotely resemble the pictures that were on the app. It didn’t taste good either. The chicken was not spicy and no Korean flavors detected. The Mongolian was mostly onions with a few scraps of very over cooked beef thrown in and tossed in a strange sauce. Definitely will not order again. We ended up eating cereal. :-/

This is my favorite location in McKinney. The food is extremely good. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is always clean including the restroom.

Worst place to go for Asian food... We were excited with the 4.3 stars, but were too disappointed for choosing this place for our lunch on 1st Jan...

1. The menu is literally a joke .. just a one pager with very limited options
2. The noodle we ordered was the worst pad Thai I have ever had in DFW . It was just a soya coated junk that we couldn't even eat
3. Service was pathetic, the waiter brought just 2 plates for 4 persons and had to call twice to get what we needed. 4. They were out of cutlery to gave us bad quality plastic forks
5. The washroom was wasted and was out of tissues

Ordered Sweet and sour chicken. Got fried chicken with 3 pieces of pineapple and no sauce for Sweet and Sour flavor. Just chicken!! Worse I have ever eaten. Threw it away!!! Never go here....

We ordered Singapore noodle, but what we got is just a pad thai. No curry taste at all, just pad thai, brown in color. Their website’s ordering page shows it in yellow though. It tastes ok, I don’t mind a pad thai.

I recently visited Rice and Noodle off Custer Road in McKinney, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food is fresh, and flavorful. The menu offers a wide variety of options. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.

Valentin has been kind and friendly, and adds another reason to say each experience I’ve had here has been a great one.

Whether you’re dining in or taking out, they make sure everything is prepared well.

San was so sweet. She is so attentive. This is a regular place we grab dinner and are never disappointed. Food is delicious and it bus never a long wait for your order.

Probably the worst thai food I have had. The noodles was not cooked properly. The bobba tea was just made from frozen bobba. Honestly very disappointed and surprised with all the reviews.

Took over an hour to get our food. I ordered the basil fried rice with beef and the rice was hard and completely slimy. Never had a worse “fried” rice in my life. The beef was like I was eating rubber. Don’t waste 15$ here.

The food is a fusion of different Asian cuisine. I liked the pad thai. The ramen was okay. Another person ordered the pho and didn't like it.

Here you'll mainly see East and Southeast Asian cuisines. I try to see if they've any West or South Asian cuisines,well they didn't.

This has been our go-to Chinese restaurant for at least 4-5 years. And, we see no reason not to keep it that way.

This is my fav Chinese food/restaurant in north Texas. Portion sizes are good, taste of the food is very good (a lot in Texas is bland) and service is good. Lots of good. :-)

We are (were) for 4 years regular customers of this Rice Noodle place in McKinney, near the 380/Cluster Walmart. This place used to be good. Besides one time several months ago when they forgot a couple of items in an order and we had to waste time and gas to drive back to get them, the food was always great and tasting. Unfortunately, this has changed.

I don't know if they have a new manager or owner, but today's meals were very very disappointing. All the portions were ½ of what they used to be, everything was kind of tasteless, there was NO veggies in the ramen noodles, only one small half cooked egg versus usually 2 full boiled eggs, the spicy ramen was NOT spicy at all, spring rolls were smaller than usual and NOT cooked inside, the rice tasted "old" and "funny" and was not good (we even could not eat it), no more ustencils and napkins, and no more fortune cookies neither!

They just lost a good and repeat customer!!!

I guess this place is following the current trend where everything costs a lot more but quality and quantity both go down a lot!!!!

We order from here alot but today was the pits. I ordered Kimche Ramen and on the order, I put extra extra extra extra extra spicy (not even kidding). I get it and the egg isn't cooked leaving the middle yellow part raw (gag) on top of the soup and zero spiciness.....zero. I call to let them know and she says "you should have said spicy.' I say "I said extra 5 times in front of spicy". She says we'll that's how we make it. No sorry, no nothing......says the egg is fine being raw which it's never been of all the times I've ordered. She said "next time you order we will make it spicy and cook the egg".

Next time.....no thanks!

We ordered Singapore noodles. Looks like they don't provide the usual Singapore noodles which you get in other chines or Japanese restaurants. Here its the usual rice noodles with a sour sauce.

Came here to eat in! Very cute place and a variety of foods!! We got the crab Rangoon, steamed dumplings, Japanese teriyaki, and the hibachi noodles! The hibachi noodles were our favorite, so good!!! food came out quickly, will definitely be back!

Hubby and I got a flyer for this place and saved it. We decided this weekend to order delivery Friday night for dinner. The food arrived quickly and HOT. We were sooo happy about that! The portions were generous, we both had leftovers for another meal. The protein was a little on the smaller side, that would be my only feedback as far as wishing there were a bit more. Otherwise, this is definitely our new go-to for ordering Chinese/hibachi! So good!

It is very good food. Good portions as well.

The staff were nice and attentive. The food was good, arrived quickly, and in generous portions. We’ll be back!

My absolute favorite Pho in McKinney

I liked the place and the food. The portion is great but a little shy on the protein if you choose chicken for example. There is no point in paying extra to have noodles with chicken because you may not get a lot of it.

The flavor is great! We enjoyed having lunch here.

Nobody is perfect but this comes close been here several times and have not been disappointed

This is my go to takeout place! I’m hesitant to eat at restaurants because I have lots of food allergies, but this place is amazing! I’ve never had any issues. The customer service is great, the food is delicious!

Great soups!

Service was good, but that's about all I can say positive. The food is just not the level of quality I expected. Better food at the same price at Noodle Wave.

DELICIOUS! The service was great. You can actually have a great business or family meal. The amount of each portion is great for the price.

The food at this Chinese restaurant is quite good. I've had several items on the menu and all of them were good. The hot and sour soup is one of the best around, but it comes really hot so you might have to eat your whole meal before you can enjoy the soup. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. There's plenty of parking because of the size of the strip mall.

I like the hot and sour soup very much! Broccoli chicken is also delicious, I like the broccoli not too soft and the sauce looks good too!

The Pho was terrible, there was no favor to it at all. The noodles look like they had been cut I ordered vegetable pho there was very little vegetables. The broth was awful had no flavor we threw everything away. We all Ordered chicken wings and they were so dry like they had been made from the previous day. On the day after Christmas I think if you're going to open restaurant, you should have good food, even if it is after because we paid good money for this. Super disappointed

Close to where I work so I eat there often

I've been coming here since day 1, and iv never had any bad experiences with the food or service....it's almost like my own weekend getaway sometimes...and all the food is amazing

First time and it was incredible.

I will love to come back, not a fan of how it smelled but the lady who greeted me was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious! Nice portions.
