Authentic Thai Cuisine
I ate too much, too fast, and it was too good.
Patra's is a quality and quantity, fairly priced, authentic experience. I have been numerous times, ordered the Panang and Roasted Duck Curries and both have been wonderful.
The Take out stays warm long, dine in has the perfect temperature to dig into immediately.
10/10 "Must-Have"
Basil Stir-fry with Beef (spicy) was delicious. My Wife got the Pad Thai with chicken (mild) and she loved it. It was a little too sweet for my taste but tasted very good.
We ordered the crab ragoons for an appetizer (you can choose with or without crab!) And since my Wife doesn't like seafood we got without crab. PERFECTLY fried. Tasted great. Very slightly sweet.
Also got the Thai Tea to drink, delicious as well! We have tried the other Thai place in Magnolia and this place here is way better. Far more superior.
Definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for Thai food!
I had a wonderful time here with my family. We started off with the chicken spring rolls and chicken satay (the first two pictures) and enjoyed them both. The chicken rolls are nice and fresh and the spicy green sauce was amazing while the peanut sauce was ok. The chicken satay especially was really nice and I could totally binge on them. Next we had the khao padt basil fried rice (7/10), the red curry (9/10), the stir fry cashew nuts (8/10), and the stir fried spicy spaghetti (7/10). The pictures should be these food items in order unless I messed up somewhere. Besides the red curry, which had a stronger sweet flavor, the rest of the dishes were good, but tasted similar in our opinions. Yet having halal chicken and halal beef for catering is such a big convenience, especially in this area. What really stood out to us was the service. We had a really kind waiter who served us patiently even after the restaurant closed, and the owner came out and greeted us after our meal as well. She’s a very polite and kind lady, and I certainly have a soft spot for family restaurants like these. Overall I’ll definitely come back here again as I’m eager to try the rest of their menu
I got the duck curry spicy and it was wonderful. I wasn’t expecting it to be more like a soup rather than a curry sauce so it was a nice difference. The duck was juicy, and tender. Just like the tomatoes and zucchini. The coconut curry broth was spicy, sweet, and rich. Served with jasmine rice that was pretty dense, wish the rice was a bit fluffier but that’s just personal preference.
Thai tea is always good - had to wait 45 minutes for a fresh batch to be made and we were well into our meal by the time it had arrived. A little disappointing but it happens.
The jungle curry with chicken mild was also a curry soup rather than a curry with sauce. Delicious. Carrots are shaped cutely. Wish the chicken was a bit more tender as it was kinda dry. The spicy sour broth was what made it.
All in all the food here is great but the wait sucked.
Dinner here was a delight. Seating was immediate, and service was attentive without being intrusive. The food came quickly and was flavorful and delicious. We loved the chicken satay. We were able to add vegetables to the red curry, which was fantastic and some of the best we have ever had. Definitely enjoyed our visit, and we're glad to have great Thai nearby!
I discovered this gem of a restaurant in my new neighborhood, and Petra’s truly stands out for its authentic and delightful Thai cuisine. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious and meticulously prepared from scratch, reflecting the essence of an authentic Thai dining experience. Beyond the mouthwatering food, the customer service is exceptional. The charming ambiance with lush plants surrounding the windows adds to the overall appeal. Petra’s has become my absolute favorite restaurant, and I highly recommend a visit to savor their fantastic food and tea!

Delicious Great service and food. Great way to celebrate New Year! Glad they were open.
Great place for Thai cuisine in the woodlands area.
We ordered take out so did not enjoy the ambiance inside the dining area.
Customer service was good.
The food here is so good it is hands down my favorite place to eat. The service is slow but they are really kind and accommodating. The menu is so customizable and the food is the best. It’s so delicious it’s the best I love it!!!
I cannot even comprehend on how amazing this restaurant is, there is almost no waiting time, food is brilliant, and servers and owner where very nice, would recommend

Great authentic Thai and laosian foods
We ordered to go food through Patra's ordering tool, but then got no confirmation from it. My husband called the restaurant, but they couldn't find our order, so we repeated what we wanted. The food was fresh and still hot when we picked it up, but my Khao Padt Pineapple, which basically is rice with pineapple, cashews and raisins, had no pineapple, cashews or raisins in it. Did I just pay close to $20 for rice with some vegetables?
This place is pretty good there is a lot of Thai food restaurants around, But for some reason this one is better. The portion sizes alone are Enough to make you want to come back just because you will have plenty to take home to eat later. My daughter recommended this place to me and she's only 13LOL. But it is really good you should definitely try it just be sure and get extra spicy and they have a couple extra sauces that you can order on the side as well

I have worked in Thailand for 18 years. I close my eyes and I'm in Bangkok eating pad Thai or mussama chili 🌶️. A value added meal. Kop.
This restaurant was spotless! The service was excellent and the food was absolutely perfect. I will return many times!
Panang curry w chicken and veg was great. Will definitely be back.
Ambience is fine. Price is high and food is just average. We tried padthai and and panang curry.
Always the best!
Bad food. Slow service. You should try Wok In before spending your money at this place. They HIDE REAL PRICE FROM THE MENU. We asked the waiter and they stated meat will be charged extra since economy is going really bad. They offered just plain food with meat. I asked that doesn’t make’s sense and they stated everyone is doing the same.
Very good food! Not good service for only having 1 table busy, ours. Time of day was 230pm. Patra's also charges for credit card usage fee.
Food was amazing and Uber delivered.. So great to have a good Thai food place to go to.
Awesome service and food‼️ Stir Fried Vegetables, DTOM YUM and DTOM SAAP soups were so amazing. The blend of veggies & spices were, oh my goodness.🙏 I strongly recommend

Food is pretty good, but $25 for pad Thai is crazy!
Patra's has such savory food with great flavor and texture! The spring rolls were crispy, yet tender. The green currry and Khao soi were both tasty.
This is our third time to this restaurant, the last two times were great. So tonight we invited our friends to try it. But!!! We just had the worst experience at this place. When we walked into the restaurant, the server told us sit wherever we want, we have 5 adults, so we picked a table. After we sat down, the server ignored us the whole time. She gave the check to the table behind us, and she gave togo box to another table, and she even refilled the water for the table next to us. But she didn’t say anything to us after we sat down. We just sat there, we even did not have the menu to take a look. We 5 people were like invisible to her. One of our friends went to the cashier table and gets menus cuz we understood it’s holiday season, all the restaurants are busy. But After 15 mins, we still didn’t get anything, not even a ‘’sorry, I will be right back.’’We all felt she was so rube, so we decided to leave. This is the first time we have such bad experience ,we will never going back!
We did not eat there. We came there tonight, had a seat (fortunately), and waited for 20 minutes for a server. Nobody even came to ask for drinks. We looked around and the guests from other tables seem waited for their servers too. So, we just left. Very disappointed and will not come back!!!
The freshest, most delicious food. Simply the best restaurant in Magnolia.
do NOT order online!!!
Lessons on how lose customers:
Today, decided to order (for the first time) from Patra's Thai Cuisine.
a) Their website states "Save 5% order online" (that 5% never exhibited itself)
b) Their order online platform is Dylish. I went in and placed my order. Order received by Dylish (as confirmed by email) but only acknowledged by the restaurant 15 minutes later WHEN I ARRIVED FOR MY ORDER! Sure, the front desk is busy but this is the platform YOU CHOSE (could have used another one but decided to give theirs a go!)
c) Dylish's order form for Pad Thai (Noodle Dish) is for $14.99 and nowhere does it ask for protein. When I came to pick up my order, I was asked what protein I wanted. I indicated shrimp and was asked to pay $3 (in cash please) additional. Brah, this is YOUR platform. How is it my fault? BTW, what about that 5% discount?
d) The order took 35 minutes to make (that's ok - at least it's fresh). Picked it up and rushed home then I noticed the items I ordered were not correct (silly me for not checking first before leaving). Dude, this is YOUR platform: print the order and send to the kitchen
e) Kitchen delivered what was on the order ticket. Seems like the lady at the front desk entered the order manually and, sadly, managed to make 2 mistakes on a 5 item order: 2 X wrong items (I ordered the shrimp spring rolls [$2 more expensive] and got the veggie ones and I ordered the Pineapple Fried rice and got the Chef's special [fortunately? same price]
Side note: the spice level on the curry which I requested as "medium" (which is what I requested), it was mild at best (funny enough, the other dishes were well spiced)
f) To-go portion sizes compared to what was served for "eat-in" customers (yes, there were people eating there) were woefully small. What was supposed to be an order to feed 4 people barely fed 3.
Overall food taste was ok (nothing to write home about). At least it was warm!
I "might" (you never know if my memory starts failing) come back and eat in but I will never EVER order online from this restaurant ever again!
Great food - they pay attention to the small details that really add an extra pop to the dishes we had! I can’t believe we waited this long to try them out but we’ll be back for sure. This is our new go to Thai place.
I got there 4:15, they were closed until 4:30 but the ladies let me in early. Super friendly service. And the food was very too too. This was my first time there and I will be coming back. The red curry with chicken was very tasty. And the green curry with tofu was just right!
Food is fresh and delicious.
Food was very delicious. I would highly recommend it. The service was slow for me. I sat at the bar by myself and felt like no one knew who was suppose to be waiting on the bar.
Great! Authentic Thai. Love every dish. Wonderful and friendly staff.
sooo good
After they served my wife, they forgot about me. I waited about 10 additional minutes. The food was great, but nothing was offered to apologize for their lapse, as they served other tables before ours. Pricey, especially the dessert!
It was ok. Mixed drinks are advertised on each table, but they only serve wine and beer. It was clean in there, which was nice.
Great Authentic Thai Food!!!!! Highly recommend!!
Good Food!
Petra’s is the best!!
Authentic!!! So hot and delicious. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Service was also great.
I ordered to go and they obviously lost my order! I’m not a fan of being lied to… just tell me you missed my order instead of making excuses!!’ I watched people come and go!
I hate bad customer service! The food can to good but good customer service is a must! Not coming back!
Best Thai food I have found in Texas!
Very sweet and kind staff
Extremely slow and indifferent service. Dishes are very overpriced (average $18-$20 per item) and the food was just ok at best. We ordered our dishes spicy and never even got a glass of water. We won’t be returning.
First time visiting here. Group of four with my family. Waiting forever for service. Order came but only two. Waited another 20 minutes to see what's going on because kids and wife hungry just to tell us that we didn't order anything else. How they missed the orders I don't know. Then they telling us we have to wait another 30 minutes because they busy with to go orders. That's it I had enough and left. Never will be back
Our whole family had dinner at Patra last night.
I called them just 30 minutes ahead on a Friday night and they accommodated us and sounded glad we called. When we went in there was just one other couple there. As we waited for our family to arrive I struck up a conversation with couple having dinner. They were raving about the food!
Then our family joined us as we ordered our appetizers another seven or eight tables filled up and the restaurant got busy.
We ordered satay chicken, veg rolls and fried wontons for appetizers. They disappeared faster than it took them to make them. We were forewarned that the food is made after each order and it’s worth the wait. That turned out to be true.
For main course, I ordered shrimp panang curry, others ordered a green curry, red curry, pad Thai all with chicken , I believe, and a couple of veg dinners. Everyone loved their food. We all ordered medium spice except one person and all of us were pleased with our food.
We will frequent this clean, bright, friendly restaurant many time more because it’s proximity to us. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Even the only negative of slow service can be rationalized because we had a party of seven and the restaurant filled up as we settled down. I would strongly recommend Patra Thai.
Next time, I will include pics.
Very delicious and wonderful customer service!
The food was delicious and fresh. There is a bit of a wait to get the food and my boyfriend's came out first, but it was fresh when it arrived. All in all good food, slow service, but I think worth it for the quality.
Food is excellent. Service needs some work. We had a party of 5 and our meals didn't all arrive at the same time. And the wait was a bit long. But everything is created fresh including the fried Spring rolls. So, 5 stars for food and 3 for Service.
Incredibly good Thai food! Try the drunken noodles and the yellow curry! Holy moly the spicy doesn’t play around
Tried to place an order for pick up and the person who was very rude, she didn’t even listen and said that they were busy and didn’t even listen. Avoid this place at any cost. No customer service . Looks like they don’t need business.
Also they increased all the dish prices by 30%. Wish i get a 30% pay raise!!
Walked in at 8:08 pm, their open sign was on, the employees looked at me and said nothing as I stood there briefly before they said we’re closed! Rudely! Hmmm, your business hours say 8:30, oh, and turn your open sign off then!
Enjoyed the food..seriously…gods people and food. No complaints
I got the duck curry spicy and it was wonderful. I wasn’t expecting it to be more like a soup rather than a curry sauce so it was a nice difference. The duck was juicy, and tender. All in all the food here is great but the wait sucked.
First time visiting was when they first opened. Definitely enjoyed sitting at the bar along with authentic food! I usually get Togo orders more recently because they have become very popular! If you haven’t already gone here I highly recommend trying them out. Chicken Satay is very good as well as the broccoli beef stir fry which I normally order extra spicy (Thai spicy!)
Picked up to go- was 30 mins behind. Terrible
Delicious! Plenty of vegan options and great service. My husband and I frequent this little gem quite often and it is always a satisfying experience.
Beat flavors ever !!!
The BEST Thai food in North Houston (Magnolia TX area)!! You order your spice level mild, medium or spicy. Spicy will make you sweat! It’s no joke but, absolutely delicious!! You can also order to-go and pick up at the side window without getting out of your car!
The best and authentic thai food.. never disappointed, always delicious. Food come out fast and hot. Favorite dish Pat see ew, green and red curry..
Very tasty and the stuff was great. First visit and I definitely come back soon ;-)
Fabulous! Great food. Excellent staff!
This is only the second restaurant review I've ever written so that anyone who reads this knows I'm not someone who posts negative reviews just to post. I ordered take out last night for one entree and was told it would take 30 mins. Got to the restaurant and waited for over an hour. There were 3 other customers who had been waiting for a long time too. The kitchen door was open so we could all see there was no hustle or sense of urgency amongst the staff. No apology once I got my food except to say they were short staffed. Not sure about that because we saw one of workers shutting down a cooking station. To top it off one of the cooks left the kitchen, walked by us, went to the bathroom with his apron on. Didn't hang it outside or put it on a chair. This goes against every health code I can think of. Horrible experience!!! Management/owner needs to get their act together.
Pineapple Chicken fried spicy is an excellent choice. Very friendly service and was not to packed. went a little before dinner time so there was no rush to eat your food. when I got there I walked in had a table, when I had finished my meal about an hour later there was an hour and a half wait. The food was excellent.
Great Thai restaurant! I had a wonderful dish with lots of flavor and spices. Definitely delicious and will be back!
Great Pad see ew and green curry. Ordered spicy and it was 🔥 really authentic. Nice staff and great prices.
The food is amazing! I always get the panang curry with shrimp. One of the few restaurants in Houston area that actually make the food spicy which I LOVE! The people there always greet you with a smile and they’re very nice!
We sit down food takes a while. One order didn’t even get processed until the end. The rest of us were done eating before the last guest got their order. Lastly the order tuned out overcooked and burned. Staff was rude and unfriendly NEVER COME HERE!
We drove 20 miles to find its closed although it says open on Google, plz update to save people time money
They need to update their hours on google. No one picked up the phone both days of the weekend. Drove far only to find out they were closed.
Friendly service from Luck our server and the Thai food is scrumptious.
Absolutely fantastic! The FOOD was great! spot on authentic thai cuisine! Just like you are in thailand! Service was great too. This for sure is a gem in this part of town 👍👍👍
Food is great! Very patient with loud families. Only drawback is they bring everyone’s food and the apps at all different times. It means the food is the freshest possible but awkward wait for everyone’s food to arrive.
My wife and I have been visiting and doing business in Thailand for over 35 years. Patra's Thai Cuisine is WONDERFUL, bringing Thailand to us. Her dishes are made when ordered, some dishes require a bit more time to prepare than others. All of our meals takes us back to the MAGICAL "Kingdom of Thailand". I call Thailand Magical because of the Thais and our friends we have made through out the years. Our BEST to ALL
The food is real good but the service is PAINFULLY slow. Rarely does anyone come by the check on you. I finished my meal and then had to sit around and wait for the check for almost 20 minutes. I’m not saying don’t go but if you do make sure you set aside a big portion of your time so you can just sit there waiting for someone to help you or refill your tea…
Service was a joke waitress has no idea of what she’s doing. Pad thai was awesome and the Red (RUBBER) snapper tasted like it was microwaved then fried. Stick with apps and noodle dishes and sit and relax it might be awhile especially if it’s busy. Would go again early
Bad service, only two servers for a restaurant full of people. I had to get up to get silverware, they first bring one main course, it got cold until I get up again to ask where my husband food was. They said it was only one cook in the kitchen. We ordered two different dishes not flavor at all. Even the big table next to us was complaining about flavor. Appetizer was awful, Small dishes without flavor, pricey and not worth it. Don't waist your time and money here.
Service was horrible! Got a table and are menus. Ordered our drinks. Never saw the waitress again. Had to go pay for our drinks for our drinks. Was never offered any forgiveness.
The food is good but waiting for a long time and the waitress has very bad English, it is not understood
Have eaten here twice and enjoyed the food. Today my stir fry was tasty but so salty I could not eat it after a few bites. I've always appreciated the way you could choose the level of spiciness you wanted but if it's too salty the level of spice doesn't matter. I did feel like it was very clean and my friend's order was enjoyable.
I was told the wait would be about 45 minutes for food. Placed my order and was enjoying a good Padt Thai in about 20 minutes. Will definitely be back. Food was great and service was on point.
Best Thai Cuisine ever! All the sauces and ingredients were fresh, delicate and delicious! I would highly recommend the appetizer sampler. The fresh spring rolls were just as amazing as the fried ones- how could anyone pick between the two? Trust me: just get both! I ordered mild for the spice level and it was perfect. I will order the medium on my next visit and pair it with a Thai tea! Excellent service, relaxing ambiance and incredible food! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!
I got the ginger rice dish and loved it with medium heat.
Good food but miserable service. After waiting nearly an hour, our meals still came out 20 minutes apart and my wife’s Pad Kee Mao was cold. There are plenty of options for good Thai food in the area. Petra’s should be firmly at the bottom of that list.
Don't waste your money...
Food
Nothing short of incredible! Some of the very best Thai food we've ever had.
I love the place and have eaten their food multiple times however, sometimes it can be a hit or miss. Most of the time the food is good but I've had a few times where the flavor was completely off and unpleasant. You can sometimes expect a somewhat long wait for food 40 min to an hour due to a lack of employees but the food is good most of the time so you can overlook it.
Was out on a vacation and our son took us here for lunch. They had the best Som Dtum and Mango Sticky rice I've ever had! It's better than a 5 star with friendly staff at a good price. Can't wait to return.
I've been wanting pad Thai for a long time since I moved from Austin. This place did not disappoint. I loved the sauce and the noodles were perfect. Not too spicy. I will be eating here again.
Poor service.
Now willing to communicate.
Wow, great food deserving of nothing but the best. Would be useful to have the menu online, website working, and prices reflecting what is shown virtually. Otherwise we were surprised by the 30% higher bill
Amazing Thai food with flavor and style. Came for some spicy food and was not disappointed.
The best Thai food in all of Greater Houston! Expect your taste buds to thank you 🌻🤎
My favorite Thai restaurant on the north side of Houston. My favorite dish is easily their Khao Soi Gai northern curry served on noodles. Both the Dtom Kha and Dtom Yum soups are super tasty, loaded with flavor and fresh ingredients. The Dtom Saap beef soup is a hot and sour soup I've never tasted before here, and it's delicious. I've tried their Green Curry and Panang, both are great. The Pad Thai isn't my favorite, but the Padt Ki Mao (Drunken Noodles) is terrific, especially if you like it spicy. Yum Woon Sen is really good too. I love their Satay and Pork Skewers appetizers, and their spring rolls. If they have it, finish off with the fresh mangos and sticky rice.
There's always a bit of a wait for a togo order, but it's totally worth it.
I tried Patra's out my 1st time about a year ago or so based on someone asking for community support for this small business place. I was pleasantly surprised and I have ordered TAKE OUT about 5 or 6 times since. Service has been slow, but considering labor shortages, they got a pass. Yesterday, I convinced my COVID weary wife to eat in for lunch if the dining room was not crowded. It was not, 2 tables occupied and a 3rd with dinners ready to leave. Ordered a couple of beers and mentioned to the server that we were hungry and new exactly what I wanted as an appetizer, Spring Rolls. She was not very "receptive" to me asking her to help me choose between the 2 Vietnamese Beers on the menu and I felt rushed and she not friendly.
She disappeared and before bringing our beers, she brought the bill to the people ready to cash out. COMLETELY understandable. But then, she and the only other server went to clear and clean that SAME table. I reminded her that I wanted the Spring Rolls and in a semi-rude tone she asked if I wanted the fried or fresh. I know a lot of facial expression gets lost behind the masks, smiles included, but her tone was one of annoyance. I verified with my wife to ascertain I was not getting the wrong expression and my wife confirmed that she made an "ugly face". I asked my wife if she wanted to leave and she assented. I informed our inimical server that we wished to cancel the beers and appetizer and left... BUT not before getting the best "Thank you. Have a nice day." from the other server. We will be back BECAUSE of the other server. Our lunch tab was Over $100.00 at the Red Flame Steak and Grill nearby. Missed opportunity for Patra's. A positive review to follow for Red Flame.
Great food and inviting atmosphere. Try the variety of curry dishes with different proteins from mild to hot. Great taste and good value
Cons- Unfortunately, this is the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever tasted. The noodles were incredibly mushy and there wasn’t any flavor or spice. I’m so disappointed.
Pros- the lady at the window was very nice.
Stellar Thai place- your committing though - takes a long time to get your food; the food is always really good; always fresh; to go always the same fresh and hot as well;
Best Thai in the Woodlands.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at Patra’s and particularly recommend the pork satay and the marinated beef salad. The mixed appetizer plate is a great bargain (summer rolls, spring rolls and your choice of satay) and the accompanying sauces are bursting with flavor. The Panang curry was just the right balance between sweet, savory and spicy. We received timely and friendly service. Will definitely be back!
..wow...everything I order is absolutely amazing
Excellent!!!!!
Good, authentic thai food from owners that moved here from Thailand. Happy to have a thai restaurant close to home.
Excellent...
Really looked forward to having Thai food a place close to our new home in Magnolia. Arived before 2 this afternoon for a late lunch. Was greeted by someone who said she needed. To clean a table. There were no tables that had been cleared. We understand there may be a short staff situation and once the table was cleaned we sat down. Unfortunately we sat for quite sometime while not even given a menu to look over or make a drink order. After waiting and watching the woman who sat us making specialty drinks for others we decided to leave.
Delicious early birthday lunch girls out. 👸👩🦱👵
Tasty food. Seems they have a good team of the master chef and the server guy. I'd recommend this place.
I love this place! The food doesn’t come out fast because each order made fresh. I don’t mind waiting for fresh tasting food. The Chef’s Specialty Shrimp Fried Rice is phenomenal. It is highly recommended.
Great food. No frills but tasty. I have been to Thailand a few times and this food is the real deal. Highly recommend Patra's.
Amazinggggg!!!!
I love the employees and the food is quite good. I highly recommend the basil fried rice with chicken!
One small suggestion for improvement... the phone system seems unreliable and I have been unable to reach the restaurant even when they've been open. This has happened on more than one occasion. You may want to look into this so you don't lose potential customers!
Also, please post hours on Google Maps. :-)
Delicious 👌
Ordered 60 dollars of food. Told it was An hour to pick up. No worries got there after 55 mins. Paid. And then was told it was going to be another 30 mins wait. Really. Won't be going back. 90 mins to make a couple of dishes and a satay. Hey ho. Good luck with that business model.
Never again. The food is delicious. But the wait times are terrible. One hour and 45 minutes the first time, and over two hours the second time. Both times we were told the food would be ready in less than an hour after we called.
Tom Yum was pretty good but the Pad Thai and Panang curry lacked the true zingy Thai flavor. Pad Thai noodles were a bit soggy and stuck together.
We ordered many dishes from their stir fry, fried rice, chicken satay and pad Thai. All were excellent and full of flavor. I ordered a Thai tea as well. It was bold, sweet and perfectly creamy. I would’ve provided 5 stars....However, the staff were wearing gloves and not changing them out. Which may or may not be a big deal to some. Me personally working in the medical field, I see everything wrong with this and how much can be transferred. I understand washing hands between each food item and table is hard on time and just unrealistic. But it is as simple as placing some hand sanitizer in your pocket and sanitizing between tables and washing when you can. We sat at the bar (able to view the entire restaurant) and saw our server pick up dirty plates from another table, come to ours, take our drink order and go right into cutting stuff up to put IN our drinks without changing gloves. With covid going on, I completely understand wanting to keep staff safe but this is not the way to do it. If anything, you’re just going to end up potentially making your consumers ill. Just something to rethink about when attending this establishment.
Excellent food & service. Get it all spicy! The gin & tonic takes the sting away.
Just wow! Consistenly great service, amazing Thai food. Best green curry fried rice ever (#49). This place is a weekly favorite!
Highly recommend!
My husband and I got two of the mixed appetizer plates. Every item on the plate was delicious. It came with three sauces. Place was busy and service a little slow but definitely try it out!
Fresh and tasty Thai cuisine. I'm looking forward to coming back to try another dish.
Great food and the staff is wonderfully friendly.
Best Thai food in Magnolia! I love the Pad ke Mao and my husband gets the pad se ew. Yum! Support local and go here!
Food is great and clean. The taro smoothie is amazing.
Best spaghetti padki maou and the mixed appetizer is amazing.
Everything ive had is delicious
10/10
Everything is made fresh.
Really good. Great customer service.
Wish I could rate their food, but I can only rate the fact that their restaurant was listed as open until 9:30, but when I called for a takeout order at 8:15 they said they closed at 7. What kind of restaurant closes at 7 for dinner? 🤷🏻♀️
Its just ok...the Thai ice tea was really good tho
Have eaten here several times. The food has always been great.
Good food... but slow service. Also, had to fight off gnats from the plants...very annoying.
The lady who took care of me tonight was so sweet and kind and the food was amazing as always
Must be one of the best kept secrets in The Woodlands...this food is awesome!
Food is GREAT, clean and nice staff
ugh...another fav place going down quickly...fruit flies still (in my last review). sssssllllllooooowwww so very very slow service, sticky floors and tables.... hey the food is really good. but in the end the experience is now a 2.5.
Second time with takeout from Patra's... Flavors and spice levels were consistent across both trips.
Great food, flavors and meal all around. Staff is welcoming and takes care of you while you wait.
Terrible service. Took an hour and a half for us to get our food for a group of 8. Subpar food, meals came out one at a time 10-20 mins apart. We were also the only people there....... never going back.
Delicious!
Excellent food and super nice staff. Love this place!
Deliciously made fresh food you can taste the difference from other places. Great variety of spiciness that you can choose from and they will make to order. Have gone various times dine in and pickup and they are always sweet and have great service.

Update: Slow/Bad service holds Patra's back.
The food is excellent (5 stars), but if you choose to dine in person, be prepared to wait longer than seems reasonable. Service is decent trending bad (2-4 stars).

We've been here several times now, and I am happy to say each time it gets a little better. Better service, faster, more consistently prepared food. Try the panage curry!
Couldn't wait to write review. We went there, because ppl at Nextdoor was recommending. When we got there, the lady behind the bar didn't wear a mask and the whole night she was waking around like something was bothering her.
Our server was sweet and happy and was wearing a mask, but she didn't know much about menue. I was between two curries and decided to go with the red curry.
My daughter got her plain spaghetti and meat sauce on the side, then my hubby fried red snapper covered with pineapples, tomatoes, bell peppers and sweet-sour sauce. I finally got my curry, what was like a soup and didn't have any coconut milk taste. Instead it was like a dessert. I hope they didn't use high fructose corn syrup. It supposed to come with rice, but our waiter forgot to bring me one.
My husband and I was hoping to have a same great delicious experience when we were traveling in Thailand. They call curries medicinal, but this curry was opposite and didn't taste good. Because reviews said that the owners/cooks are from Thailand and everything is prepared fresh. Instead I got sugar soup and bad gas.
Our Saturday night dinner didn't turn out as we were expecting.
Everything is made from scratch at this place. The Pad Thai noodles were awesome!
Dined in tonight, we always love the food so we usually are fine with the long waits and often much needed staff. Tonight was by far the worst! We were there almost 2 hours, food came 1 meal at a time. We lost our appetite and just got it to go and left after waiting so long. It’s a shame such delicious food can’t come with decent service. They had 1-2 staff for the whole restaurant. We won’t be back for dine in after this experience. The owner needs to step up his staffing as the word is getting out not to come due to the long waits...
So good! We just moved to this town and this is a must! Food is fresh, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great!
Great food and great service.
Food was good. Service for poor almost 40 minutes before we were served.
previous reviews brought me here, and our experience pretty much matched the words i read.
food is made to order here. it takes time to get your plates, but when you do eat the food, you realize that the time spent was in making fresh food on the spot. the curry we ordered took time, and it was worth it. the mango & sticky rice dessert we ordered took time as well, and it was freshly made. the portions were also largely generous.
the environment is clean, the furniture solid stable and sturdy, the dishware is solid as well. nothing about this place feels cheap.
money well spent for the food and experience.
Delicious and generously portioned fresh dishes
Great food and service 👍
Authentic food !! Worth the wait 🙏
The chef was swamped so it took a quick minute to get our food, but the amazing authentic taste was well worth the wait. Would definitely recommend
We had ordered to-go food about 2 weeks ago and it was AH-MAZING, so we thought we'd try dining in tonight. The waitress tried very hard but the experience was a disaster.
We waited 20 minutes just to get water and 2 glasses of wine, then we ordered and the appetizer didn't ever come out (seems not to have been submitted by the magical iPad?). When main courses did finally - after more than and hour and a half - they came one at a time over a 30 minute period, and 5 out of the 7 were completely wrong.
One of the currys had an excess of curry to the point it was Nearly Inedible and didn't have all the proteins we'd ordered, a fried rice had NO flavor when it had been ordered extra hot, the children's spaghettis were so watery we wondered if perhaps they noodles hadn't even been drained, and a sweet/sour was so salty it Was Inedible.
The excuse was only 1 chef and 2 prep help. When we asked about getting more kitchen help we were told "She's just very picky."
Okay, picky is good, we get that, but this lost our business, possibly forever.
First time, went there at 3:30 in the afternoon for a meal. The chef was not available between 3-5 pm.
If your door is open there should be a chef in the house!
Never going back.
Excellent food. All prepared fresh and hot. Cocktails are tasty, too. All this and reasonably priced. We will go back often.
