Traditional Thai & Laotian cuisine offered in a relaxed space with contemporary, industrial decor.
The people are nice. The server checked up on customer offer make sure we got what we need.
I mainly go there because they have Curry Vegetables Puff. Roti with curry sauce is good, taste better when Roti is still hot. Papaya salad, personally is not on point yet. I prefer when the string of papaya is finger length and crunchy. This is better than the other place Iβve had. Next time, I probably increase the spice to make it tastier. The Mama Pad V with Tofu is a little salty for my taste bud. Try the Thai Tea, I had mine with coconut cream taste π€©!!
The environment, the place is nice. The art wall on the right side of the entrance is spectacular!! Match the culture !! β¨
We've been coming here for a while and the food is amazing. I love their Tom Yum soup. Their curries are delicious. My other go to is the Pad See Ew, I tried it with fish for the first time and it's SO GOOD. Pictured here are their combo 1 & combo 2 from their lunch special. The portions are big so bring someone to share with. We are taking the leftovers to go. π€€π
This place is now called Khaosan Road Thai Restaurant, stopped in for a quick dinner and we were pleased by the food and service. We had appetizers entrees and dessert and everything seemed made to order. The only thing we didn't like was the red sauce they brought out with fried eggplant.
This place is amazing ! My picky Asian mom liked the food so that says a lot. I thought everything was so flavorful and authentic. We had the crispy snapper which was perfectly crispy without excess oil and it smelled good. I donβt like fish or meat to taste too game-y and they did a great job with the fish tasting fish-less so to speak !
The massaman curry and green curry was light and delicate tasting. It was actually all so delicious. The only thing I would ask for is maybe slightly bigger proportions but not at the expense of the taste
Update, 2nd time here and itβs still wonderful ! I love how consistent this place is! Itβs rare for a restaurant to deliver consistently. We definitely love this place . Food is fresh, healthy and cooked with soul. To quote my mom βI never liked Thai food growing up but this place has changed my mind!β.
This is our first time here. I am Vietnamese, and my husband is Mexican. We have been to Thailand so many times and we fall in love with Thai food. This place is so far our most favorite π₯° The food is so authentic and amazing tasty. The service is top notch. Sky is so friendly and funny. We definitely gonna come back again and again.
Found this little place online and very glad that I came in.
I had an order of fresh rolls for an appetizer that were very good and then ordered the flat noodle pad Thai combination and it was fantastic.
Service was good and the cost was very reasonable.
Again came in had the same fresh rolls because they are absolutely fantastic with a great sweet peanut sauce...
This time I had a curry dish that was extremely good also.
If you're staying anywhere around the heights I definitely would give this place a try as I will come back next time I'm in town again.
Used to come here all the time, now there's new owners, new recipies, higher prices, less protein per portion
Favorite thai place
On whim, I googled this place while waiting for my 2nd meeting. It was good!

Great service. Delicious food.
I would avoid the Orange Chicken. Itβs mostly fried batter. Very little chicken
Great food and service!! This is our go to Thai place
Food excellent. Easy access locations with fast friendly service.
I Ordered The Curry Puff & Massaman Curry (My Favorite)
The Curry Puff Was Not Very Enjoyable. First The Description Stated It's Two Puff Pastries With A Side Of Cucumber Salad. The "Cucumber Salad" Is A Shot Of Vinegar With Cucumber Bits... I Do Not Do Vinegar. The Pastries While They Looked Beautiful Were Covered In Oil & The Oil Taste Was In The Pastry, Which Tasted Very Cheap... After Eating The Pastries, I Did Not Feel Great.
I Ordered The Tofu Massaman With Brown Rice. The Soup Was DELICIOUS & The Brown Rice Also... It Really Helped After Eating The Puffs.
One Issue I Have Is Being Charged For Additional Rice At An Asian Restaurant. When Rice Is A Cornerstone Item & Often Asian Dining Consumes Multiple Scoops Of Rice... The Bowl Of Curry While Very Delicious, I Felt Was Just A Touch On The Smaller Side. I Also Ordered Coconut Juice.
My Bill Was $27.50 Before Tip... Over $30 After. I Did Not Feel Like I Had Consumed A $30 Meal & That Is Very Important To Me... I Was However Full For The Next Hour... & A Half.
The Ambiance Was Clean, Which Is Also Very Important & I Did Receive Service Without Having To Wait Extremely Long, Or Feel Like I Was Being Avoided At All. The Staff Were Kind & Attentive To My Requests. I Hope 4 Stars Does It. I Feel 3 Stars Would Have Been To Low For This Establishment & They Narrowly Slid Into Fourth!
Stellar!

Very authentic Thai food! Hope they add some more Thai desserts menu.
Food is great meets expectations, service needs a little work but it's acceptable.

So I just went to Thailand and after trying real Thai food I have got to say this place has THE MOST AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD Iβve tried in Houston. They have 5 spice levels and if youβre new to Thai food I suggest getting mild or medium. Their pad see ew is delicious and so is their pad Thai. Tom yum soup is very delicious and authentic tastes just like it does in Thailand. Their green curry? Perfection. I love this place.
As always I'm very indecisive. We ran with the first 2 suggestions the waiter made. Sausage plate and a green curry.
Both were amazing
The fusion of veggies, spice, and chicken was mouth watering. Someone who loves heat appreciates the choice of 1 to 5 heat level. Mouth watering delectable fresh yum. They will be changing to Khaosan Road Thai Cuisine in February. Yum
I order from here all the time. Today Iβm sick and ordered soup. I asked for hot sauce and was charged an additional $1.00. I had to go back to my car and gather change. Shame on businesses that donβt honor a repeating customer and literally wonβt let you out for a $1.00 1/4 ounce of hot sauce. Bet Iβll cook my own soup from now on.
The food is always delicious. I order the chicken satays, the puffs, and a soup. The shrimp pad Thai is good too.
I usually come here just to get a Thai tea, and no matter how long it's been, the employee working the front always seems to recognize me and remember what I get. They give you a huge cup of it which I appreciate. They also gave me an extra appetizer once when I ordered food, probably because I looked hungry. The times when I have gotten food here, it's been something new to me, and I ate every last bite. I always get takeout but they seem to have lots of space for dining.
Amazing price and portions. Will be back, without question. ππΎ
The best northern Thai/Lao/Meekong food I have had in 4 years. Major points for Kao Soi. Allloy mak! Level 4 spice tastes just like home in Chiang Mai.
Really great food, I had the pad Thai, tom kha and papaya salad. The level 5 spicy is just perfect for me. The price is relatively cheap for the portion and quality too.
This place is amazing ! My picky Asian mom liked the food so that says a lot. I thought everything was so flavorful and authentic. Seriously one of the best Thai restaurants in Houston I love getting the pad pak boong so filling and authentic they also sell art!
Solid 5 stars! Their Pad Se Ew was flat-out delicious. Thai fried rice, green curry, and chicken skewers were all Thai-riffic! Don't "wok" past this place β guaranteed Thai-tanic experience! ππππππ
We've been coming here for a while and the food is amazing. I love their Tom Yum soup. Their curries are delicious. Best in the city
One of the BEST Thai Food in Houston, for real. Prices are great, portions are perfect and the ambience of the place is good too. Iβve tried other places but this is perfect every time. Amazing!
Food was good, got there when they opened and had my food out super quick.
Lovely authentic Thai place. If you're looking for some good Thai food that is no overly greasy, try this. The veggies were fresh and you can taste real coconut milk in the curries.
Good food and service. Very attentive! I got pad prihk khing with beef.
I love this place, itβs a hidden gem. Any curry is delish! The papaya salad is exquisite and spicy! β€οΈ
Green curry and spring rolls were fantastic. Will definitely come back for more.
I got the Karee tofu curry dish with coconut milk, potatoes and carrots. The portion size of the rice doesnβt match the portion of curry. Some places offer free (extra) rice but they charge $2.50 which I had to buy an extra. But overall I enjoyed it! Tofu dish was $10.95 + $2.50 for extra rice. This was during lunch hour so I received a discounted rate.
Impressive food and service, very well designed space with lots of attention to detail and art. It was amazing being a guest here and food exceeded my high expectations for Thai food! Excellent! My warm recommendation for this restaurant, I will be coming back soon.
All the flavor is there, so is the heat! Don't run up the heat scale when they ask, they ask you to choose 1-5, bigger numbers are not for the faint of heart.
awesome
It's always great eating here. Everything I have tried has been delicious. If you like spicy food, get the green curry! This place never misses.
This is hands-down the best Thai restaurant, in houston π. I highly recommend it.
This is seriously the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to!
My husband and I both love Thai food and visit Asia MarketΒ Thai restaurant on Fulton Street at least three times each week for an early dinner. We have been going there for years. PK our Host/Manager/Server does just about everything (although on Tuesdays Chuck is there to help out and is wonderful too!)The food is fresh and consistently good here they make just the way you like it. PK even developed a dish my husband requested. All the chefs too know exactly what we like and order. My favorite dish is the Massaman curry with Shrimp and pineapple. I also get a side of mixed vegetables. My husband thoroughly enjoys Khao Soi soup with chicken and fish and it is a giant bowl! They also offer brown rice which many Thai restaurants do not offer. They offer Happy Hour on wine and beer from 3 to 6. The wine pour is generous, and PK always gives us a complimentary sample of shrimp chips!
Amazing! The fried cream cheese puffs are a must have!
Fried food was soggy and gross. Orange chicken was just sweet and sour chicken with a slightly different dipping sauce. Thatβs not orange chicken. Would never go back.
Dined in on a Saturday at 7:00 pm for a party of 3 and was seated immediately.
We ordered:
Nam tok pork: the best! Perfect crispy rice and flavor
Thai fried chicken wings: good flavors and crispy
Tom kha gai soup: if you like coconut soup, get this, lots of mushrooms
Basil fried fish: fish was not fresh, sauce was just ok
Pad see ew beef: good flavors, tons of beef
Thai fried rice: needs more flavor, just ok
Chicken yellow curry: chicken was hard white breast meat, flavor was just ok
Wonderful food, visible parking, great service, great takeout, a Harley in the foyer, what's not to like?
Food was full of flavor at a reasonable price
Great lunch special, and all around excellent food. If nothing else, could use a little more heat on the spicy ;)
Always has great food. Tom yum noodle is delicious as well as the curries(tried all if them).
Great food
Love this place!!! Authentic and reasonably priced. The employees are always very friendly and sweet. My favorite thai reasturant in houston, I've tried other thai reasturants but they will never beat this place.
Great food, fantastic service.
Amazing selection of Thai dishes you don't often see, all of which have been very tasty so far.
Service is excellent.
The atmosphere is comfortable not fancy but nice music and art.
Easily the best Thai food in Houston.
This place is my favorite restaurant in town! My husband and I eat (or order from) here regularly. They are affordable, authentic, and delicious! Make sure you go to the location on Fulton! There are similar restaurants and it can be confusing.
Best Thai food for miles!
Really tasty and inexpensive.
Wow! I have spent time in Thailand. The food was just like I remember. The staff were great and there was plenty of space in the restaurant, I didn't feel cramped or squished. I will be back for more next time I am in Houston.
Ambience and food is amazing!
Food was great! The service was exceptional! Our waiter was super nice! And it's a pretty spacious restaurant π
Passed by people enjoy this place
Food is always delicious
Excellent Thai food. My girl friend is OBSESSED with the cheese puffs.
Whenever i take a bite of their yellow coconut curry I'm immediately transported to the wonderful land of Flavor Town. You should totally go.
Food here is ABSOLUTELY amazing! Place is nice and clean. Great environment and staff. Restrooms are always clean too. Highly recommend this place.
Asia Market was very nice. Excellent service and staff was friendly and helpful.
Great service and generous portions, very flavorful food. Lots of meals for $10.95, some less.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredible. All of the dishes that I've had are super flavorful. Their soups such as the Boat Noodles and Tom Yum are so good that you'd want it even on a hot day. Their noodles such as the pad Kee mao (drunken noodles) pack more flavor than any place I've ever had them at. The menu is huge with several things you don't find at your average Thai restaurant. On top of it all the prices are the best in town.

If you're staying anywhere around the heights I definitely would give this place a try as I will come back next time I'm in town again.
Nice people, good food, great service. I've started going back every week. I had the Fried Sour Fish, which was fabulous, and yesterday I had the special, which was fried snapper with a tamarind sauce. Delicious. This is becoming my favorite place.
My 7 year old loves this place. I will say the tom yum soup is not as good as it use to be.
The food was really good.
Favorite Thai Lunch Spot. Great service, Pad Thai, all curries, and tom yum soup. Highly recommend!
Great food, great price. We ordered 5 dishes, the bill came out around $53. The price is very reasonable regarding current inflation. The food quality is great. Sticky rice with mango and Thai tea is highly recommended for dessert.
Atmosphere is a bit quiet for a Saturday night. However, service is good, the server is responsive.
Come here often and food is fast and fresh and always comes out fast
I did a Uber eats there
Food is good, but don't bother eating in. To go customers are their main priority.
The service is amazing and the food is even better. We go there atleast once a week and never have a bad time. We know if there's any where to go for good everything, this is the place. The skewers are the best tho
It was OK... not as good as I thought it would be, but they have some good items.
Excellent! Best Thai food in Houston.
The dining room itself was very clean, and the waiter attentive. Our Food came out very quickly, however it was not prepared in a satisfactory way. We started with calamari, the taste was really off as though cooked in old oil. Our entrees were both pad Thai, mine vegetarian my boyfriendβs beef. Unfortunately it was extremely dry and very off tasting. Neither of us ate anything and the waiter was kind enough to remove them from our bill. We did however order the iced Thai tea with cream and it was phenomenal. I wouldnβt recommend this place as far as food goes but the drinks were delicious.
Pad Thai spicy and I requested no spicy.
The best Thai restaurant in Houston, and Iβve been to most Thai places in the city. This place is perfection.
Fast service, great food. Nice little spot for some Thai food.
Always fast, fresh and delicious Thai food in the local neighborhood.
Extremely disappointed. I have been ordering from here for a very long time and usually order the mild pad Thai. Twice now I have ordered this dish and I canβt even eat it because the spice is inconsistent. It is extremely frustrating because I look forward to the meal, but canβt even enjoy it.
If youβve never been here I feel sorry for you. Do you like Thai food? Do you like Vietnamese food? Laos is right in between those 2 countries and the food is like a beautiful love child between them.
Not much ambience, but we do takeout all the time
Canβt go wrong with anything on the menu
I love Thai food, this place was just ok. Something was missing in the curry.
OMG!!!1ST TIME HAVING THAI FOOD & I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, FRESH AND THE SERVICE WAS SO AMAZING.I LOVE THIS HIDDEN GEM IN NORTHSIDE!
Talk about fresh Thai food excellent service and amazing food
An unexpected pleasure. Great food.
**It's Delicious**This is the first time eating here I got the D4 Chicken Stir Fry with Veggies Xtra Spicy chicken ππ It was good I'm impressed and I look forward to trying other Entree's
Loved it. Stopped for lunch and the food was awesome.
Fabulous...........
Easily some of the best Thai food in town. The flavors are complex and full and everything on the menu is fantastic. The ambiance of the place is pretty great too. Its like eating great Thai food in a cool art gallery. If you're looking for great Thai with good ambiance inside the loop this is the spot.
Great as usual I love their food we'll be back
Best Thai food in Houston. I have been going to Asia Thai for years (dine in and delivery) and food is always good!
I love this mom and pop Thai Street Food restaurant. The owner takes care of you and the food is authentic, delicious and affordable! I ordered a lot and took most of it home because I wanted to sample everything! The only suggestion is a bit more coconut milk on the sticky rice with π₯ mango.
Stopped by to grab food for the husband, I was still full from the last stop. Their food was perfect, Thai Teriyaki Salmon was delivered to the table steaming and perfectly cooked. They also have art all over for sale, and the proceeds go to charity.
Real average! Curry was thin and watery with little taste. $30 for two chicken fried rice and one order of Masamam curry. Too much for too little, and not well prepared. I won't make this mistake again.
The owner and the rest are nasty people. Very very disrespectful π
Food was very quick but mediocre. Staff was not very friendly. Probably wont be going back.
I go like 1rd a week, its quick delicious and nicely priced
Was fine
If you have the choice between Asia Market and Thai Loa - go to Thai Loa. Both food and prices are better.
Everything was good. It was all reasonably priced, and the guy running the place was super friendly.
Wanted some Thai food while in town and picked this place. Ordered for pickup thru their app and it was ready in 15 mins. Got the curry puffs, tom yum soup, and a Thai tea. Everything was delicious. The soup stayed hot the whole drive home. The curry puffs were just lukewarm by the time I got home but they were still delicious. The Thai tea is a classic and was nice on a hot day like today. Overall I would definitely stop by again whenever I'm in town.
By far the best thai restaurant in the area and my favorite of all time!
Decent food!
Excellent clean sanitized A+
Probably the highest value for your buck thai restaurant that I know of. Ordered on ubereats. Food was piping hot. Had gai kra pow - first, yes it was minced chicken like in Bangkok vs sliced chicken that many other Thai restaurants use. Second, it was just basil and a few bell peppers. This simple version is THE street food of bangkok (add egg). It was the Bangkok dry style. I had it Thai spicy (put that in instructions for something special). Amazingly tasty. Second dish was eggplant and basil with pork. similarly complex and awesome dish. U can taste the wok char on eggplant. The quantity for the price is amazing. As one person I can make 4 dinners out of two dishes. Definitely try.
Very clean restraunt. Very good service. Really good food.
This is the perfect place if you want fast take out. They're super quick and have always been friendly. The cashier even brought my food out to the car when it was raining since I had arrive and my food was not yet ready. Their Thai curries are delicious, by far my favorite on their menu - E7 Kang Massaman is total comfort food. Their A2 egg rolls and C2 Pad See Ew are other staples that I get often.
Buenas comidas
Very delicious and authentic Thai food at great price!
