Casual Thai Dining. Also offer take out and delivery.
This was my first time ordering out from this restaurant, and the food did not disappoint! I ordered through Uber Eats and it was delivered within 20 minutes piping hot.
I I ordered tofu spring rolls ($7), which included avocado in it, and for my entrée I got chicken pad kee mow ($13) medium spice.
The pad kee mow was phenomenal and had a nice kick to it without overpowering the flavors of the dish.
The only criticism I have is the spring rolls. I wish they used more traditional veggie ingredients, such as cucumber, spring onions, vermicelli, noodles, and thicker slices of tofu instead of the tiny thin slices that you’ll see in my pictures attached. The peanut sauce, however, was absolutely great!!
I’d give this place another try. Maybe in person this time!
Good Thai food, served hot for takeout. Takeout was usually also a generous portion but during my most recent take out order the curry was packaged in a smaller container than it was previously packaged in. The take out portion is now just slightly taller and wider than the rice box. It use to be almost double the size for ample leftovers.
Wow, great food here. Everything on point...my head was sweating 😓. My picky wife who just discovered she loves curry (at 58 yrs old) had to try her new favorite Khao Soi--she loved it, wants to come back soon. We come here from San Antonio for Texans games and lately have been staying at the hotel (Hampton Inn) behind this strip center. So glad we finally tried it. Give them a try 😉
I enjoyed my food. Customers should be knowledgeable that this is Thai spicy, so mild or medium is likely enough even if you like spicy. I told them mild to medium for my pad Thai with shrimp and any spicier and I wouldn't have enjoyed. The salted edamame was fine.
I had to mark down the rating because the young male waiter was super inattentive. We were the only people in the restaurant and he just stared down at his phone the whole time. I also would've preferred soda that came with a free refill instead of a single can.
Does anyone remember Nit Noi Thai on Woodway in Houston? They had amazing food but they were a little higher priced. They closed a few years back. I have been searching for great Pad Thai since they closed, and I finally found it! This place is like Nit Noi's little sister.
I will definitely be back! I was immediately impressed upon entering the restaurant. We were warmly greeted and shown to a seat. We ask for a different one with booth seating on both sides and were accommodated with a smile. It's a small space, but also offers an intimate atmosphere. They have 5 TVs in a row above the kitchen area. Looks like they were all playing cooking shows, but it's a nice touch if dining alone and need something visual. The interior is not anything special, but it's the service and the kitchen who get the review of 5 stars. We ordered 2 appetizers to share. The 4 piece Crispy Rolls comes with a dipping sauce. They are perfectly fried and deliciously crispy, hence the name. We also ordered the Tempura Shrimp, also a 4 piece with dipping sauce, and arrived with a little side salad plus dressing. Both appetizers were terrific! For our main entree, the gentleman had the Red Curry with a spice level of medium, he chose. I had the Pad Thai with chicken and a spice level of mild. The Red Curry arrived in a steaming hot bowl with a side of beautiful white sticky rice. The Pad Thai was extremely well presented with lovely sprig of scallion leaves, peanuts to sprinkle on top, and a lime wedge. We each tried the other's entree. Both were very very good! I will say I am thoroughly and pleasantly surprised. The spice levels were great. I am not as much as a spice lover, so my mild preference was perfect for me. His medium preference got a little hotter as he got to the end of the bowl. I think Thai culture is use to more spice than American culture, for the most part. Either way, it was still delicious! The portions are large enough to have leftovers. I was thrilled I had lunch for the next day. I don't think they have a soda machine. We had ice tea. I noticed she kept getting the ice from an Igloo type cooler which sat on the countertop. Wine glasses were on a shelf, so I would assume they offer wine. In another review I saw the picture showed a can of Coke, so I think that is what they offer. This place is known just judging by the multiple people who came in for pickup orders. I can't wait for cold weather to order something warm. Red Curry during cold weather is delightful! Parking is easy. Plenty of spots available at dinner time when we went. I will return and probably do pickups from this place since it is so good.
Loved the food. The flavors are mild and apt. Not overpowering at all. Pad Ke Maw and Spicy basil fried rice was amazing. The peanut chilli sauce was the highlight. Must try!!
Mix feeling about this place. Cute atmosphere perfect for lunch time quick bite. I think food is on the very saltier side for my taste although flavor was good. The portions however were small for dinner $13 for Pad thai shrimp literally 5 bites and $8 for mango dessert and $20 duck curry with only shredded curry pieces. I can buy an entire half duck roasted for $20 sigh..😮💨 What I am not pleased is during check out, the server just told us how much from their handheld POS and expected me to pay. When I asked to see for itemized I noticed he added a 9% service charge (there was only 2 of us). Very sneaky and dishonest practice. I’ve been noticing a lot of servers doing this with handheld POS so make sure you check your bill. Not coming back. There’s too many Thai places around to give business to.
I enjoyed my food. Customers should be knowledgeable that this is Thai spicy, so mild or medium is likely enough even if you like spicy. I told them mild to medium for my pad Thai with shrimp and any spicier and I wouldn't have enjoyed. The salted edamame was fine.

So far, this is the only restaurant in the Houston area that alters their food to my spice levels.
So glad we found this little restaurant! Best Thai in Houston. Loved the lemon grass soups and the yellow curry. Their tofu is perfectly cooked. Delicious! We will be back for sure
After a long day my husband and I tried this place and they were great. We had the crab Rangoon, crunchy rolls and pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. It was all wonderful! The staff was very kind and hospitable and the atmosphere was relaxing and cheery.
Great food. I ordered the red curry (hot) and had them add pineapple to the meal. Meal presentation is very good.
The only knock I have is that it took a long time from order to receipt of food (nearly an hour).
If you go during lunch expect it to go longer than an hour or get there early.

Horrible service was seated waitress proceeded to get my order and then flat away to go get someone else’s order mid speaking to me.
Delicious tofu or vegetable curry and fresh spring rolls for vegetarians. Medium heat was plenty hot for those of us who love spice. Four of us ate out, three got curries and one fried rice dish, and we all enjoyed our food. The favorite of the meat eaters was the crab rangoons, though. The staff were very friendly and the inside was nicer than expected from the outside.
I’ve gone twice now and their food is really good. Their portions are sizable enough that I usually bring leftovers home. The price is well worth the quality and quantity. I don’t usually like tofu but it’s pretty well seasoned and the texture is ok. There is limited parking depending on what time you go.
I had the Panang curry with medium heat. It was really good. The spiciness was enough to make my nose run. I like it that hot though. The wait staff was friendly and kept my tea glass filled. My bill was about $14.
Great food. Would come again.
Tasty appetizers though most are Japanese. There are some uncommon entrees like Rad Na that you won't find elsewhere - everything's delicious!
Parking lot isnt smooth, kinda sketchy location but the interior design is very welcoming
Excellent food!! I’ve tried almost all of the famous Thai restaurants in Houston, and this place certainly belongs to the top 5. Thoroughly enjoyed their pad thai, pineapple fried rice and tomyum soup. Kee mao noodle was also delicious. And especially the Basil fried rice with shrimp, my boyfriend basically stopped every five minutes to comment on how perfect this dish was cooked. Their price is awesome too. We’ve ordered takeouts several times this week already. I’m so glad this place opened up in my neighborhood. Their service is quick and friendly but the restaurant feels like a fast food place with too much lightings. Good prices. Come support them. They deserve five star!
P/s: don’t get the chocolate lava dessert, it’s not worth it
Probably the best tasting Thai food in Houston, TX. This is my go-to spot for quick, affordable, and delicious Thai food. Their Pad See Ew is 10/10 (great flavor, natural colors, good portions) and their female staff are so nice. Personally not a huge fan of the loud music and the big TV screens, but I appreciate that they only broadcast food/travel channels on them to stimulate the appetite and entertain lone diners. If anyone wanted a recommendation for good Asian food in the Energy Corridor/Memorial Area, I would gladly recommend Aroy Thai Cafe.
I have come here a few different times and tried different things, and the food is always delicious!
Clean restaurant, great price, nice ambiance & service!
Does anyone remember Nit Noi Thai on Woodway in Houston? They had amazing food but they were a little higher priced. They closed a few years back. I have been searching for great Pad Thai since they closed, and I finally found it! This place is like Nit Noi's little sister.

Good food but they actually close at 2pm M-F and stop taking orders then, even though Maps says they close at 2:30. Their dining room closes at 2:30 but the kitchen closes at 2pm to online, call in or walk-in orders.
We went in for lunch on a Friday and place was not packed so it was nice and quiet.
We ordered the chicken pad Thai, chicken Aroy fried rice, and papaya salad. When first trying a restaurant we like to order the classic first as an indicator. We would definitely be back to try other dishes. Their Thai hot spice is truly Thai hot and my husband enjoyed it.
Our only issue was when they came with our total on one of those card swipe machines. We didn’t get to see an itemized receipt so when they gave us the total, it felt off to me. They did NOT let me know that tip was already included. I decided to click “no tip” and have the receipt text to me to check out why the cost was so high as I had cash on me in case I needed to leave cash tip. It was just my husband, our daughter, and myself. Somehow they neglected to tell me they auto added the large party gratuity on my check. I thought it was very shady.
Excellent Thai food that was freshly made and served to our table in record time! The green curry was flavorful and delicious and the spring rolls were great! Such a pleasant hole in the wall surprise that deserves more appreciation!
Yum
Met a couple of colleagues here for lunch. The food was good. Service was friendly and fast. I got the papaya salad and summer rolls with tofu. Papaya salad was good and they were able to prepare it for me without fish sauce. Wished there was more tofu and vermicelli in the summer rolls. Colleagues got pad thai with shrimp and pad kee mow with beef. They both enjoyed it. Will definitely return when in the area.
Went for the first time and was blown away. The service was amazing, our waters never went empty. We got the pad thai and yellow curry, both were medium spicy and it was perfect, so tasty and full of flavor! Highly recommend!
Great food. Not fancy, but inexpensive, large portions and good service. Will go again.
The food is so good and the service is amazing 🫶🏻 I rate it 10/10
I judge every Thai Restaurant by its version of Tom Yum/Yam. I was not disappointed, will be back for more. Also loved the vegetable version of Pad Thai. Not a fan of Tofu but usually waste most of the chicken. This was a great option.
BEST FRIED RICE IN TOWN!
Delicious food. Love their mild spice because it still has some kick. Very friendly place
Good restaurant. I went there for lunch and like it overall. Food , service , price all good.
Absolutely delicious!!!!
Ordered online and had food ready at the time suggested. Food was good.
Service and food amazing!
I would share a picture, but I already ate the food.
Aroy Thai has become our go-to Thai restaurant in the area. The food is consistently good and they prepare it quickly. The owners are also very friendly. We get their Pad Woon Sen with chicken and Hot Basil with tofu love it every time. We also love the crab rangoons and Thai iced tea!
Great food, a must try!
Excellent place for a quick lunch
Great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We chose Spicy cheese roll, red curry and fried rice and loved every dish. Spice level of a medium added enough kick to the red curry for me. Highly recommend!!
Excellent food! I had the red curry at this restaurant. Not knowing the spice level, I ordered medium but since they make their curry with fresh peppers, it was spicier for me and I couldn’t handle it. They were very nice enough to completely replace it with a mild curry. Very friendly people and awesome customer service. The mild curry was the best I have had in a while!! I would highly recommend this place!
Some of the best pad Thai I’ve had! I got it Thai spicy and it did not disappoint, my mouth was watering 😂. When I went back again I got it medium spicy and it was just as good. The crab Rangoon’s were so cute and not greasy. Thai tea was perfect. Service was really good too. I’m not sure why it wasn’t busy both times I went. They deserve to be packed. 10/10
The Pad Thai, as well as the Thai Tea here, are amazing. Everyone is so nice and welcoming here. It is a quiet place with amazing food.
I always try out Pad Thai and Pad Sew Ew on a new Thai places menu and see how it compares to others. This place is amazing!! I got hot level, and it was right on the line for the level of spice I expect, so tasty, so flavorful. Please never change. You’re amazing, I’ll be back soon!!
Had a delicious lunch at this nondescript spot in a strip center off the freeway. Delicious spicy dumplings, pad, Thai and curry and the service is great.
Around has quickly become our favorite go to place for lunch during work. The food is just too good not to go. Most items on the menu are pretty tasty. Warning Thai hot is hot, as a regular Indian food lover. This one caught me by surprise, so pace yourself and try the mild or medium before going all out
Amazing Thai food... I would recommend this place..
Great neighborhood Thai restaurant. The food was phenomenal. The ambience was ok as we were the only diners at 5:30pm.
This place is busy with takeout.
Service was wonderful.
5 stars overall.
Great food and service! It was my first time here and I would come back
A nice new Thai restaurant. Good food and excellent service!
Solid place for Thai. Food is consistent and tasty.
Happy to have a Thai restaurant so close to the house. Lunch special pad thai was appropriately sized, well seasoned, and came with a roll and crab rangoon. Hard to mess up pad Thai imho but this was a solid offering. Thai tea was yummy also. Can’t wait to try out more of their menu and take some pictures. Welcome to the neighborhood!
Since this original review I’ve been back. Still enjoying their Thai tea. Honestly should get it more often. This little place is nearly hidden but the food is good. Pad Thai was good again. Could be a bit more food for the price but I understand it’s not a cheap location. Be sure to check it out.
Very friendly staff and the food was delicious.
Tried a new Thai place during lunch time. The Tom Yum shrimp soup was good, a little spicy but for me it was good. Suggest to order large size soup if there is 2 or more in your party. The Pad Thai was good however we thought the portion was on the lighter side, maybe 25% more would have been adequate. The beef salad was the most disappointing dish. The beef was hard, not tender and not flavored well. I will skip this dish. Service was nice and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and organized.
Great food!
Service was perfectly provided by a very sweet young man. Atmosphere was open to family as well as couples or singles. The music was for us softly, nostalgic...down memory lane.
Then there was the meal What can I say beyond the freshness was amazing. The meats excellent and the broths exactly as I hoped they would be....authenticly, fusion perfect☺️😍🫡😋We'll be back.
The Lackeys, Henryetta, Oklahooma.
Great tasty thai food !
great thai food
This was an extremely good Thai food experience. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the place was lovely.
I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to. I had the lunch special and it came with an egg roll and a puff. The dish was quite spicy, just as I wanted it! If you want it less spicy, just ask and they will tone it down for you. Everything was freshly prepared. They also have a variety of condiments that can help you increase the spice levels and add to the flavor profile if you enjoy that.
I was brought here by a couple of friends that eat here regularly. They told me of how great the place is and they weren't kidding. The place was packed for a late Friday lunch.I really enjoyed the meal. I would recommend this place to anyone that's interested in having homestyle Thai food.
อาหารดีงามมาก อร่อยทุกอย่าง สมคำร่ำลือจริงๆๆ พนักงานบริการเริ่ดสุด 🙏🏻❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely amazing food. The Som Tum Thai is so fresh, and the Pad Prik King is very well spiced. Would definitely recommend. Really good Thai food generally makes you feel rejuvenated after eating it, and this definitely lived up to that expectation.
The unassuming location in the strip center had me fooled but this place is amazing! My favorite was the green curry with chicken which came at a standard heat level of what I would call 4-5 but was perfect for me! My daughter ate almost the entire adult entree portion of chicken pad see ew and it was delish. She also devoured an appetizer order of steamed gyoza. Husband had the seafood hot basil stir fry with rice and loved that as well! My new favorite spot!
Excellent local eatery. Always friendly. Food is amazing.
The cafe is clean. Food was amazing. Pad Se Ew, green curry was fresh & some of the best we’ve had. New favorite Thai restaurant. Service was on point.
Nice and clean Thai restaurant, they servings Thai street food style with a lot of famous menu, parking is very convenient and take out also available if you need to order some home , kids friendly menu, also don’t forget to get Thai Tea , good place to dine 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ordered on Uber eats. The food was fantastic, but be warned. If you order Thai hot, you get Thai hot. About 30 minutes after eating, I farted, and began to smell smoke and burnt hair. A few minutes later I farted again, and burned a hole in my couch cushion big enough to drop a grapefruit through. After an hour, you could strap me to a C130 in place of a JATO rocket. Long story short, great food, be careful with the spice though.
Had a craving for Thai, so glad I found this place. Pad See Ew was excellent but have to mention the service, very attentive and super courteous. New favorite.
Great Thai food and better service.
Good thai food and good service, friendly staff , really enjoy food here
Super good food. And an excellent find went back the next day with different group of people and returned several times since.
We ordered the chicken satay, panang curry and yellow curry. The food was great and had great portions. Excellent service as well, very attentive.
They have one of the best takeout menu in Houston. Although their signboard is not conspicuous, yet their indoor decoration is pretty comfortable. I ordered their Tom yum Talay, which is mix seafood Tom yum soup and add glass noodles to it. Their are 5 mussels, 3 shrimps, 3 calamari, and 1 scallop in the bowl. The taste is good and authentic, and their medium spicy is just right for the soup. They have this Thai hot spicy level that I would like to try out next time. My only complaint is that their price is a little high and I don't feel full when I walk out the door. Overall it's a restaurant that I recommend to people that like Thai food.
Food was not good. Probably the worst thai food I've had. Hopefully they get better. It would be nice to have a thai place conveniently nearby. But, it would need huge improvements
Food was ok as I would think for Thai.
Flavors are spot on . Also , no corking fee.
Ordered to-go basil fried rice, pad see ew, and yellow curry. All were very good. We’ll dine in one of the coming days.
Good and service were great!
I ordered the Pad Kee Mow with tofu to go and it was delicious! I called in my order and within 10-12 minutes it was ready and waiting for me and still piping hot. I like spice, but like to still be able to taste the other flavors and the medium spice was perfect. I'll definitely be returning to try out more of their menu.
Pad Kee Mow was amazing. The red curry and panang curry were a bit sweet. We had the curries Hot and noodles Med. Next time will order Thai Hot curry as they were not what I would call Hot. Everything was spicy and tasty.
Pity that the outside looks so cheap/bad. Inside is quite cute, new tables and excellent service.
Excellent Thai food.
My first foray at reviewing a restaurant. Please enjoy.
Came to this restaurant with my Robotics team looking for an interesting hole-in-the-wall experience. This certainly hit the spot.
Our server masterfully, and graciously, handled our group of ~20 rowdy teens (at least I'm self-aware about it :)).
They have a pretty, modern, eclectic decor. Definitely not the typical Thai restaurant. Great job!
I had the fried rice with shrimp, it was very good. My buddies had the pad Thai and corroborated the same. Their `hot` is about the same as a medium/medium-plus at other Thai restaurants for the spice heads among you.
The only knock would be the cabinetry...
Thanks for the great food!
High quality food at an affordable price point
