I'm giving this a full 5*review, as I had excellent food and service. As mentioned in other reviews, depending on what you're ordering, the price to quantity to quality ratio is a bit off (it's a little expensive here), but the quality and taste are definitely on point. I recommend trying this place at least once, as I don't believe there to be any reason they would disappoint. This is a great little place ro eat! Personally, I had the soft shell sriracha appetizer and green curry with pork protien, and was impressed with the taste and freshness of everything. Don't let the price range fool you, my total was in the low 20s.

Well No doubt the food is good and tasty. And its worth the Money Spent. But sometimes the behavior of the service guys is not good at all. The behavior seemed to be rude to us though it was not a busy hour at all. the Green curry or the pad Thai noodles that we ordered was fantastic in taste though the coffee was not good

The normal meals are good. The kids meals are overpriced and nasty. Looks like they took sweet and sour chicken and put sesame seeds on one piece and called it sesame chicken kids meal. The meat was dry, rubbery and looked like it had been sitting out all day. And it cost $8. Totally not worth it. You would be better off buying a full meal and splitting it among your kids or having leftovers. I would not get it again!

Used to be a great place. Now it's over priced and you have to eat on paper plates abs bus your own tables. $60 for 2 kids meals a curry, 4 drinks and 2 appetizers really wow won't be back.

Very ordinary food. Went there today and ordered basil fried rice and cashew nut delight. Both the dishes lacked flavor.

Cool place, you have to self serve, but overall pretty nice! The clerk was very nice and the place is pretty empty. Overall, food was great definitely go again, but the place does feel pretty empty again.

We love this place and bring friends here as often as possible. Great food at a great value and excellent service every time! Their ginger tea is the best!

Atmosphere is usually pretty quiet but the art work all came from over seas and has a really unique feel.

Great food! It was quick and very tasty. The Papaya salad might as well have been made in rawai beach! The pad Thai is straight from the streets of pai!

Love this place! I eat here with my family once a week. I'm so glad they are here because I do not like hot wok. The food is much much better and the service is impeccable and very friendly. Their walnut shrimp, bbq'd pork/beef Lo mein and Orange chicken are favorites. Their sushi is really good too. This is my families favorite Chinese place in frisco.

Highly recommended. Easy to order online, you just have to order mango sticky rice and side sauce at counter.

The portion size of the curry was small compared to other places, and tasted ok, not great. The Tom kha soup was basically raw vegetables floating on a pre made broth that was too sour to eat. Atmosphere not very welcoming and odd. Seems management is cutting corners and doesn’t care much about the customers experience. Would recommend checking out a different Thai place.

Worst experience ever. Tried calling in my order and the lady couldn’t understand anything I was saying (I speak perfect English…) and hung up on me twice. When I finally got to the store thinking she got my order she rolled her eyes and said they didn’t make my order yet. I’m still not sure what her confusion was. Extra broccoli doesn’t seem too hard to understand. Either way she was EXTREMELY rude so I left. Will never ever ever try them again.

So disappointed in this place I thought I’d give it another try. It was so good when they used to serve you and you had a waiter or waitress. It’s still counter service you order and sit down and everything is served on throw away paper dishes, plastic forks. With these prices eating in I would think you would still be served on nice plates and dishes like they used to everything used to be so pretty and come out looking great very appealing. This will be my last time coming to this place there’s too many great Thai places around Frisco when you eat and you feel like some experience and not like a picnic eating on paper plates. Sorry for the bad review but I expect more from a Thai restaurant with these prices

Consistently amazing flavors and very cozy atmosphere. The Pad Thai (pictured) and Yellow Curry are amazing.

Quantity.. Quantity ... they are skimping heavy on it. Any thing you is always half order for full price. I love the food but it's bad when you charge 13$ and it's not even worth 6$ interms of quantity.

This used to be my go to for Thai food but lately the food quality hasn’t been as good and the pricing has gone up.

Pho was great, good portion size at a reasonable price. I talked with the owner, she was nice. Lisa was a doll and very personable. It was a warm experience on a cold day at Thai Green Village and I will for sure be back.

I love the taste of their food and the workers are very polite. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish they would give more protein (shrimp, beef, chicken, etc) with each dish.

Good food. Chose this place off of Google maps almost at random. We were going to an event and needed a quick bite on the way. This place is in a shopping center so parking is plentiful and easy.

The food is unrivaled, it is so delicious! I ordered the Paynang Curry. I wanted to lick the plate. So so so good! The only problems:
#1- no lunch menu so my paynang chicken curry lunch was over $12. For me, kinda pricy for lunch. Portion was small, considering the price; this is why I wanted to lick the plate... to get every yummy morsel.
#2- They serve the food on paper plates, with a plastic fork and spoon. That was disappointing too.
#3- No table service. I had to get my own water and there is a sign to "bus your table". Really? Yes!

I have been a regular customer but today faced an issue with my online order that would like to me mention here. I ordered a Thai Fried rice and Basil chicken entree. After I picked up the food at home I noticed that the Thai basil chicken entree quantity is way below what you expected. Not even worth of $6 but charged $11. Right away called the restaurant to convey my concern. Again, no complaints against their taste that always superb. Hope they listen and admit their mistake for any future order including mine. Three star is to get an attention.

I have been coming here since moving here in 2018. We have always had good service and food. I visited today after my husband placed a pick-up order through Uber Eats, which we have done numerous times before. Upon arriving I gave the lady my name and said I'm picking up an order. She looked and went to hand me the order, stopped and said I need to see app. I explained that my husband had ordered and he had the app on his phone. She said she wasn't giving me my food with no app for her to see. I asked her to call him to confirm, she refused and said "NO I see app, you call Uber and tell them you don't pick up food and they charge me." I couldn't understand this as that wouldn't stop anyone from calling Uber, by just showing them the app. So I told her I don't have an app, that I can show her my driver's license with the same last name. She is yelling at me that she won't give me my food without app. My order was over $80, so this was an unreasonable suggestion. Someone else walked in that worked there and she walked away and said you just talk to him. So, I explained to him that I was picking up an order my husband placed, gave him the name, and he looked at the slip and handed me my food. I am still completely confused as to why this lady acted this way. Unfortunately, her actions will make me no longer visit this establishment and I will be trying new Thai places.

One of the better Thai restaurants in Frisco!!

A cute and welcoming Thai food place. The service was super friendly, helpful and sweet. The food was some of the freshest Thai food I have had, nothing was canned or frozen when it came to the crisp veggies and meat in the panang curry.

Today was the second time I enjoyed lunch here and love Thai Green Village. They serve fresh food with no preservatives in home country style.

Cockroach on the floor, ice cream had mountains of sugar on it, food was very poorly cooked we barely could eat anything, there was only paper plates like at a food court. Would not recommend i am never coming back.

I've had the good fortune of eating fried rice in Asia. Their house fried rice is one of the best I've ever had.
Also...their housemade egg rolls are a requirement.

Pay 5 star prices for 3 star portions and 1 star quality

The food was good for its price, but the lady working up front was the nicest person ever. Her customer service was great despite being the only worker trying to satisfy many customers.

Despite being overpriced, considered their cut-cost petite portions, I gave it a go twice because it’s right next to my place only to be rude to both times. So done. Good taste though.

I’ve lived here all my life and only just discovered this place but I’m in love! As a vegetarian it’s so rare to find pad Thai that doesn’t use fish sauce but this place is very veggie friendly! Delicious, spicy, and the employees were so nice + conversational while I waited. They also helped me out with special requests to use my own bag/not including single use plastics. Highly recommend.

First and last order from this place. Crab rolls had shell in them, the portions are tiny and the flavour is definitely not Thai. No spice. If you want real Thai food with flavor and spice this is not the place for you.

I recently moved to Frisco and me and my boyfriend came here for the first time. It’s so overpriced! We spent $35 for a chicken satay, papaya salad and namtok but the portion for each dish was soooo small, serve on a paper plate. I’m petite and I can finish all of that by myself. The food wasn’t that great and the portions are too small for the price. Our stomachs hurt when we got home too. Overall very disappointing. Save your money and go somewhere else!

I have been going to this place for 7 years now. It used to be good. But recently horrible is what i can say 1. Curries are watery 2.no flavor 3. Quantity is less comparing to other thai places. 4. The cutleries are plastic and of cheapest quality 5. Price is more comparing the best thai villages.

I used to love this place. When my son and I moved to Frisco three years ago we came here once every other week. Then something happened and we started to notice food servers leaving and new ones being hired. It happens, but then the food started really going downhill. On two occassions my Pad See Ew had red pepper flakes pour on top (was suppose to be level 4 not 5++++). Then the restaurant moved to ordering at the counter. Again, times change, but for me the reasons we choose this place was changing (not in a good way). The prices didn't seem to change the last time I ordered, about 2 months ago. I wish them the best, but I won't be back. Also, the younger guy that helps at the counter is not pleasant.

I found out this place was next to my house a few weeks ago.. I now go 2 to 3 times a week... The yellow curry,and the Shrimp fried rice is a favorite in my house!!! The customer service is amazing!! As long as I live in this neighborhood I will continue go 2 to 3 times a week!!!

This place is expensive, portions are small and they serve on plastic and cardboard...water in a jug and served in these cheap small plastic cups, to top things off we decided to order sticky rice and mango, the portion was laughable, so small, perfect for a baby haha...but still the same expensive.

And the front desk lady with the heavy eyebrows acted like she was bothered when I was placing mine and my family's order...she was rude when I asked about one of the dishes, just had a bad attitude NOT friendly, I completely understand now why the place was completely empty throughout the time we were there.

Go elsewhere for Thai food, I recommend Chili Thai, great portions, reasonably priced, ceramic plates/bowls and stainless steel forks, spoons and knives and restaurant is nice and staff is very friendly.

I came here for my marriage anniversary. The one star is for:
a. Plastic eating utensils, food comes in a throw away container.
b. when u pay your bill you are asked for a tip but they don't serve you the food at the table.
c. The food quantity is way too little for the price that they are charging. They also charged 3$ extra (per plate) for putting in vegis instead of tofu. My wife actually commented that the pineapple fried rice had just 1 pineapple piece in it.

Surprised that this place has so good reviews.Never coming back.

Delicious food but self service. Their red curry fried rice is the best! Having had Indian cuisine a lot, I was surprised by the aroma, flavor and spice level. I give full point in all three categories. The atmosphere was friendly for families, couples and individuals alike. The prices are also reasonable.

Very cheap place. No plates or silverware.we asked for plates and they give this small carry out boxes as plates. I had lunch on a Saturday and its 12:30 am and still having an upset stomach. Second time going here and would be the last.

This is my first time at this place and I assure you it is my last, service was very slow, you have to wait to be seated and then get up to order your plate at the counter, so why sit down first ??? Then when my order was done it was the wrong meat ?? Whats up with that ... The lemonade was awful. No five stars from me . Price $$ To much for what you get, I will never go there again.

This place is amazing!! The food is delicious and the people are so friendly!! The restaurant has changed from a full service to counter service, but it's still the same flavorful delicious dishes. Some reviewers are complaining about counter service, but this is any different than all the other restaurants in Frisco......except the food is definitely worth the extra effort for counter service. Thai Green Village is one of the very best Thai restaurants in the area.

I've given a 5 star review before but not this time and even though it has been my "go-to" restaurant for every birthday for the 7 years we've lived here, I'll not be going back. The restaurant I used to love is gone. They no longer have waiters and waitresses, you pay at the counter and then get your own water and plastic eating utensils then your food is brought to you in a throw away container. What I don't get, they still ask for a tip. There's a tip jar and the bill had a "tip" line. What am I tipping for? I'm paying the same amount for a sit-down restaurant. I won't be back.

I've been going here for years and the food is always delicious. The chicken Basil Fried Rice is my dish of choice and it is the best around. They recently changed their format to counter service where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. It seems to work well especially for lunch - it gets you in and out quickly.

I have been using this place for a year noe and hope owner can give thought to what i am writting. Good food, i mostly eat pad kee mow and rolls (fried or soft ones).

I am bit dissapointed to see that their quantity has reduced significantly. There was time when i use order lunch portion and it will fill up my plate now believe me it is barely more than half of same plate. Also, chicken tasted off. Both these points leads me to that extra quarters are being prioritized over customers by oweners/management and thus my days are numbered here.

This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for many years. We go there once or twice a month at least . The food and the service have always been excellent and the prices very reasonable. The ambiance is also very pleasant . Not exactly the type of restaurant you would bring a first date to, But an excellent place for casual dining with friends.

This is one of the favorite lunch stops. Good price and good food that is very tasty.

Very bad meal. 2 dishes for 31.00 and one had hardly enough grilled chicken to feed a toddler. The sesame chicken sauce had no taste at all.

Not visiting here again. Went there before but had the worst service and worst food quality. The price and quality of food dont match. I been several Asian restaurants but this is one of several I dont ever go back. If you cheat on customers, we write bad reviews.
